וַיִּוָּעַ֣ץ דָּוִ֗יד עִם־שָׂרֵ֧י הָאֲלָפִ֛ים וְהַמֵּא֖וֹת לְכָל־נָגִֽיד׃

Καὶ ἐβουλεύσατο Δαυεὶδ μετὰ τῶν χιλιάρχων καὶ τῶν ἑκατοντάρχων παντὶ ἡγουμένῳ ·

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר דָּוִ֜יד לְכֹ֣ל ׀ קְהַ֣ל יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל אִם עֲלֵי־כֶ֨ם ט֜וֹב וּמִן־יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵ֗ינוּ נִפְרְצָה֙ נִשְׁלְחָ֞ה עַל אַחֵ֣י־נוּ הַנִּשְׁאָרִ֗ים בְּכֹל֙ אַרְצ֣וֹת יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְעִמָּהֶ֛ם הַכֹּהֲנִ֥ים וְהַלְוִיִּ֖ם בְּעָרֵ֣י מִגְרְשֵׁיהֶ֑ם וְיִקָּבְצ֖וּ אֵלֵֽינוּ׃

καὶ εἶπεν Δαυεὶδ πάσῃ ἐκκλησίᾳ Ἰσραήλ Εἰ ἐφ᾽ ὑμῖν ἀγαθὸν καὶ παρὰ Κυρίου θεοῦ ἡμῶν εὐωδώθη, ἀποστείλωμεν πρὸς τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ὑμῶν τοὺς ὑπολελειμμένους ἐν πάσῃ γῇ Ἰσραήλ, καὶ μετ᾽ αὐτῶν οἱ ἱερεῖς οἱ Λευεῖται ἐν πόλεσιν κατασχέσεως αὐτῶν, καὶ συναχθήσονται πρὸς ἡμᾶς,

et ait ad omnem cœtum Israel: Si placet vobis, et a Dómino Deo nostro egréditur sermo, quem loquor: mittámus ad fratres nostros réliquos in univérsas regiónes Israel, et ad sacerdótes, et Levítas, qui hábitant in suburbánis úrbium, ut congregéntur ad nos,

And David said unto all the congregation of Israel, If [it seem] good unto you, and [that it be] of the LORD our God, let us send abroad unto our brethren every where, [that are] left in all the land of Israel, and with them [also] to the priests and Levites [which are] in their cities [and] suburbs, that they may gather themselves unto us:

וְנָסֵ֛בָּה אֶת־אֲר֥וֹן אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ אֵלֵ֑ינוּ כִּי־לֹ֥א דְרַשְׁנֻ֖הוּ בִּימֵ֥י שָׁאֽוּל׃

καὶ μετενέγκωμεν τὴν κιβωτὸν τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν πρὸς ἡμᾶς · ὅτι οὐκ ἐζήτησαν αὐτὴν ἀφ᾽ ἡμερῶν Σαούλ.

et reducámus arcam Dei nostri ad nos: non enim requisívimus eam in diébus Saul.

וַיַּקְהֵ֤ל דָּוִיד֙ אֶת־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מִן־שִׁיח֥וֹר מִצְרַ֖יִם וְעַד־לְב֣וֹא חֲמָ֑ת לְהָבִיא֙ אֶת־אֲר֣וֹן הָאֱלֹהִ֔ים מִקִּרְיַ֖ת יְעָרִֽים׃

καὶ ἐκκλησίασεν Δαυεὶδ τὸν πάντα Ἰσραὴλ ἀπὸ ὁρίων Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἕως εἰσόδου Ἡμὰθ τοῦ εἰσενέγκαι τὴν κιβωτὸν τοῦ θεοῦ ἐκ πόλεως Ἰαρείμ.

καὶ ἀνήγαγεν αὐτὴν Δαυείδ · καὶ πᾶς Ἰσραὴλ ἀνέβη εἰς πόλιν Δαυείδ, ἣ ἦν τοῦ Ἰούδα, τοῦ ἀναγαγεῖν ἐκεῖθεν τὴν κιβωτὸν τοῦ θεοῦ Κυρίου καθημένου ἐπὶ χερουβεὶν οὗ ἐπεκλήθη ὄνομα αὐτοῦ.

καὶ Δαυεὶδ καὶ πᾶς Ἰσραὴλ παίζοντες ἐναντίον τοῦ θεοῦ ἐν πάσῃ δυνάμει, καὶ ἐν ψαλτῳδοῖς καὶ ἐν κινύραις καὶ ἐν νάβλαις, ἐν τυμπάνοις καὶ ἐν κυμβάλοις καὶ ἐν σάλπιγξιν.

καὶ ἐθυμώθη Κύριος ἐπὶ Ὀζά, καὶ ἐπάταξεν αὐτὸν ἐκεῖ διὰ τὸ ἐκτεῖναι τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὴν κιβωτόν · καὶ ἀπέθανεν ἐκεῖ ἀπέναντι τοῦ θεοῦ.

וַיִּ֣חַר לְדָוִ֔יד כִּֽי־פָרַ֧ץ יְהוָ֛ה פֶּ֖רֶץ בְּעֻזָּ֑א וַיִּקְרָ֞א לַמָּק֤וֹם הַהוּא֙ פֶּ֣רֶץ עֻזָּ֔א עַ֖ד הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃

καὶ ἠθύμησεν Δαυεὶδ ὅτι διέκοψεν Κύριος διακοπὴν ἐν Ὀζά, καὶ ἐκάλεσεν τὸν τόπον ἐκεῖνον Διακοπὴ Ὀζὰ ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης.

καὶ ἐφοβήθη Δαυεὶδ τὸν θεὸν ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ λέγων Πῶς εἰσοίσω τὴν κιβωτὸν τοῦ θεοῦ πρὸς ἐμαυτόν;
