וַיְהִ֤י דְבַר־יְהוָה֙ אֶל־יֵה֣וּא בֶן־חֲנָ֔נִי עַל־בַּעְשָׁ֖א לֵאמֹֽר׃

καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος Κυρίου ἐν χειρὶ Εἰοὺ υἱοῦ Ἁνανεὶ πρὸς Βαασά

יַ֗עַן אֲשֶׁ֤ר הֲרִימֹתִ֨יךָ֙ מִן הֶ֣־עָפָ֔ר וָאֶתֶּנְךָ֣ נָגִ֔יד עַ֖ל עַמִּ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַתֵּ֣לֶךְ ׀ בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ יָרָבְעָ֗ם וַֽתַּחֲטִא֙ אֶת עַמִּ֣־י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לְהַכְעִיסֵ֖נִי בְּחַטֹּאתָֽם׃

Ἀνθ᾽ ὧν ὕψωσά σε ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς καὶ ἔδωκά σε ἡγούμενον ἐπὶ τὸν λαόν μου Ἰσραήλ, καὶ ἐπορεύθης ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ Ἰεροβοὰμ καὶ ἐξήμαρτες τὸν λαόν μου τὸν Ἰσραὴλ τοῦ παροργίσαι με ἐν τοῖς ματαίοις αὐτῶν

Pro eo quod exaltávi te de púlvere, et pósui te ducem super pópulum meum Israel, tu autem ambulásti in via Ieróboam, et peccáre fecísti pópulum meum Israel, ut me irritáres in peccátis eórum:

Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and made thee prince over my people Israel; and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and hast made my people Israel to sin, to provoke me to anger with their sins;

הִנְנִ֥י מַבְעִ֛יר אַחֲרֵ֥י בַעְשָׁ֖א וְאַחֲרֵ֣י בֵית֑וֹ וְנָֽתַתִּי֙ אֶת בֵּ֣יתְ־ךָ֔ כְּבֵ֖ית יָרָבְעָ֥ם בֶּן־נְבָֽט׃

ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐξεγείρω ὀπίσω Βαασὰ καὶ ὄπισθεν τοῦ οἴκου αὐτοῦ, καὶ δώσω τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ ὡς τὸν οἶκον Ἰεροβοὰμ υἱοῦ Ναβάθ

הַמֵּ֤ת לְבַעְשָׁא֙ בָּעִ֔יר יֹֽאכְל֖וּ הַכְּלָבִ֑ים וְהַמֵּ֥ת לוֹ֙ בַּשָּׂדֶ֔ה יֹאכְל֖וּ ע֥וֹף הַשָּׁמָֽיִם׃

τὸν τεθνηκότα τοῦ Βαασὰ ἐν τῇ πόλει, καταφάγονται αὐτὸν οἱ κύνες, καὶ τὸν τεθνηκότα αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ πεδίῳ, καταφάγονται αὐτὸν τὰ πετεινὰ τοῦ οὐρανοῦ

Qui mórtuus fúerit de Báasa in civitáte, cómedent eum canes: et qui mórtuus fúerit ex eo in regióne, cómedent eum vólucres cæli.

καὶ τὰ λοιπὰ τῶν λόγων Βαασὰ καὶ πάντα ἐποίησεν καὶ αἱ δυναστεῖαι αὐτοῦ, οὐκ ἰδοὺ ταῦτα γεγραμμένα ἐν βιβλίῳ λόγων τῶν ἡμερῶν τῶν βασιλέων Ἰσραήλ

וַיִּשְׁכַּ֤ב בַּעְשָׁא֙ עִם אֲבֹתָ֔י־ו וַיִּקָּבֵ֖ר בְּתִרְצָ֑ה וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ אֵלָ֥ה בְנ֖וֹ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃

καὶ ἐκοιμήθη Βαασὰ μετὰ τῶν πατέρων αὐτοῦ, καὶ θάπτεται ἐν Θερσά · καὶ βασιλεύει Ἠλαὰν υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ἀντ᾽ αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ εἰκοστῷ ἔτει βασιλέως Ἀσά

καὶ ἐν χειρὶ Εἰοὺ Ἁνανεὶ ἐλάλησεν Κύριος ἐπὶ Βαασὰ καὶ ἐπὶ τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ πᾶσαν τὴν κακίαν ἣν ἐποίησεν ἐνώπιον Κυρίου τοῦ παροργίσαι αὐτὸν ἐν τοῖς ἔργοις τῶν χειρῶν αὐτοῦ, τοῦ εἶναι κατὰ τὸν οἶκον Ἰεροβοὰμ καὶ ὑπὲρ τοῦ πατάξαι αὐτόν

Cum autem in manu Iehu fílii Hánani prophétæ verbum Dómini factum esset contra Báasa, et contra domum eius, et contra omne malum, quod fécerat coram Dómino, ad irritándum eum in opéribus mánuum suárum, ut fíeret sicut domus Ieróboam: ob hanc causam occídit eum, hoc est, Iehu fílium Hánani prophétam.

And also by the hand of the prophet Jehu the son of Hanani came the word of the LORD against Baasha, and against his house, even for all the evil that he did in the sight of the LORD, in provoking him to anger with the work of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam; and because he killed him.

καὶ συνέστρεψεν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν Ζαμβρεὶ ἄρχων τῆς ἡμίσους τῆς ἵππου, καὶ αὐτὸς ἦν ἐν Θερσὰ πίνων μεθύων ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ Ὠσά, τοῦ οἰκονόμου ἐν Θερσά

Et rebellávit contra eum servus suus Zambri, dux médiæ partis équitum: erat autem Ela in Thersa bibens, et temuléntus in domo Arsa præfécti Thersa.

וַיָּבֹ֤א זִמְרִי֙ וַיַּכֵּ֣הוּ וַיְמִיתֵ֔הוּ בִּשְׁנַת֙ עֶשְׂרִ֣ים וָשֶׁ֔בַע לְאָסָ֖א מֶ֣לֶךְ יְהוּדָ֑ה וַיִּמְלֹ֖ךְ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃

καὶ εἰσῆλθεν Ζαμβρεὶ καὶ ἐπάταξεν αὐτὸν καὶ ἐθανάτωσεν αὐτόν, καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν ἀντ᾽ αὐτοῦ

וַיְהִ֨י בְמָלְכ֜וֹ כְּשִׁבְתּ֣וֹ עַל כִּסְא֗־וֹ הִכָּה֙ אֶת־כָּל־בֵּ֣ית בַּעְשָׁ֔א לֹֽא־הִשְׁאִ֥יר ל֖וֹ מַשְׁתִּ֣ין בְּקִ֑יר וְגֹאֲלָ֖יו וְרֵעֵֽהוּ׃

καὶ ἐγενήθη ἐν τῷ βασιλεῦσαι αὐτὸν ἐν τῷ καθίσαι αὐτὸν ἐπὶ τοῦ θρόνου αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐπάταξεν ὅλον τὸν οἶκον Βαασά

Cumque regnásset, et sedísset super sólium eius, percússit omnem domum Báasa, et non derelíquit ex ea mingéntem ad paríetem, et propínquos et amícos eius.

καὶ ἤκουσεν λαὸς ἐν τῇ παρεμβολῇ λεγόντων Συνεστράφη Ζαμβρεὶ καὶ ἔπαισεν τὸν βασιλέα · καὶ ἐβασίλευσαν ἐν Ἰσραὴλ τὸν Ζαμβρεὶ τὸν ἡγούμενον τῆς στρατείας ἐπὶ Ἰσραὴλ ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ἐν τῇ παρεμβολῇ

καὶ ἀνέβη Ζαμβρεὶ καὶ πᾶς Ἰσραὴλ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ ἐν Γαβαθὼν καὶ περιεκάθισαν ἐπὶ Θερσά

וַיְהִ֞י כִּרְא֤וֹת זִמְרִי֙ כִּֽי־נִלְכְּדָ֣ה הָעִ֔יר וַיָּבֹ֖א אֶל־אַרְמ֣וֹן בֵּית הַ־מֶּ֑לֶךְ וַיִּשְׂרֹ֨ף עָלָ֧יו אֶת־בֵּֽית־מֶ֛לֶךְ בָּאֵ֖שׁ וַיָּמֹֽת׃

καὶ ἐγενήθη ὡς εἶδεν Ζαμβρεὶ ὅτι προκατείλημπται αὐτοῦ πόλις, καὶ πορεύονται εἰς ἄντρον τοῦ οἴκου τοῦ βασιλέως, καὶ ἐνεπύρισεν βασιλεὺς ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν τὸν οἶκον τοῦ βασιλέως, καὶ ἀπέθανεν

עַל חטאת־ו אֲשֶׁ֣ר חָטָ֔א לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת הָרַ֖ע בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה לָלֶ֨כֶת֙ בְּדֶ֣רֶךְ יָרָבְעָ֔ם וּבְחַטָּאתוֹ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָׂ֔ה לְהַחֲטִ֖יא אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

ὑπὲρ τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν αὐτοῦ ὧν ἐποίησεν τοῦ ποιῆσαι τὸ πονηρὸν ἐνώπιον Κυρίου, πορευθῆναι ἐν ὁδῷ Ἰεροβοὰμ υἱοῦ Ναβὰτ καὶ ἐν ταῖς ἁμαρτίαις αὐτοῦ, ὡς ἐξήμαρτεν τὸν Ἰσραήλ

אָ֧ז יֵחָלֵ֛ק הָעָ֥ם יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לַחֵ֑צִי חֲצִ֨י הָעָ֜ם הָ֠יָה אַחֲרֵ֨י תִבְנִ֤י בֶן־גִּינַת֙ לְהַמְלִיכ֔וֹ וְהַחֲצִ֖י אַחֲרֵ֥י עָמְרִֽי׃
