וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ יְהוֹשָׁפָ֥ט בְּנ֖וֹ תַּחְתָּ֑יו וַיִּתְחַזֵּ֖ק עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

Καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν Ἰωσαφὰτ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ἀντ᾽ αὐτοῦ · καὶ κατίσχυσεν Ἰωσαφὰτ ἐπὶ τὸν Ἰσραήλ.

וַיִּ֨תֶּן־חַ֔יִל בְּכָל־עָרֵ֥י יְהוּדָ֖ה הַבְּצֻר֑וֹת וַיִּתֵּ֤ן נְצִיבִים֙ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ יְהוּדָ֔ה וּבְעָרֵ֣י אֶפְרַ֔יִם אֲשֶׁ֥ר לָכַ֖ד אָסָ֥א אָבִֽיו׃

καὶ ἔδωκεν δύναμιν ἐν πάσαις ταῖς πόλεσιν Ἰούδα ταῖς ὀχυραῖς, καὶ κατέστησεν ἡγουμένους ἐν πάσαις ταῖς πόλεσιν Ἰούδα καὶ ἐν πόλεσιν Ἐφράιμ ἃς προκατελάβετο Ἀσὰ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ.

καὶ ἐγένετο Κύριος μετὰ Ἰωσαφάτ, ὅτι ἐπορεύθη ἐν ὁδοῖς τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ ταῖς πρώταις · καὶ οὐκ ἐξεζήτησεν τὰ εἴδωλα,

ἀλλὰ Κύριον τὸν θεὸν τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ ἐξεζήτησεν, καὶ ἐν ταῖς ἐντολαῖς τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ ἐπορεύθη, καὶ οὐχ ὡς τοῦ Ἰσραὴλ τὰ ἔργα.

καὶ κατηύθυνεν Κύριος τὴν βασιλείαν ἐν χειρὶ αὐτοῦ, ἔδωκεν πᾶς Ἰουδὰ δῶρα τῷ Ἰωσαφάτ, καὶ ἐγένετο αὐτῷ πλοῦτος καὶ δόξα πολλή.

Confirmavítque Dóminus regnum in manu eius, et dedit omnis Iuda múnera Iósaphat: factǽque sunt ei infinítæ divítiæ, et multa glória.

וַיִּגְבַּ֥הּ לִבּ֖וֹ בְּדַרְכֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וְע֗וֹד הֵסִ֛יר אֶת הַ־בָּמ֥וֹת וְאֶת הָ־אֲשֵׁרִ֖ים מִיהוּדָֽה׃ פ

καὶ ὑψώθη καρδία αὐτοῦ ἐν ὁδῷ Κυρίου, καὶ ἐξῆρεν τὰ ὑψηλὰ καὶ τὰ ἄλση ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς Ἰούδα.

וּבִשְׁנַ֨ת שָׁל֜וֹשׁ לְמָלְכ֗וֹ שָׁלַ֤ח לְשָׂרָיו֙ לְבֶן־חַ֨יִל֙ וּלְעֹבַדְיָ֣ה וְלִזְכַרְיָ֔ה וְלִנְתַנְאֵ֖ל וּלְמִיכָיָ֑הוּ לְלַמֵּ֖ד בְּעָרֵ֥י יְהוּדָֽה׃

καὶ ἐν τῷ τρίτῳ ἔτει τῆς βασιλείας αὐτοῦ ἀπέστειλεν τοὺς ἡγουμένους αὐτοῦ καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς τῶν δυνατῶν, τὸν Ἀβίαν καὶ Ζαχαρίαν καὶ Ναθαναὴλ καὶ Μειχαίαν, διδάσκειν ἐν πόλεσιν Ἰούδα.

καὶ μετ᾽ αὐτῶν οἱ Λευεῖται Σαμούας καὶ Μανθανίας καὶ Ζαβδείας καὶ Ἰασειὴλ καὶ Σαμειραμὼθ καὶ Ἰωναθὰν καὶ Ἀδωνιὰν καὶ Τωβαδωβειά, Λευεῖται · οἱ μετ᾽ αὐτῶν, Ἐλεισαμὰ καὶ Ἰωρὰν οἱ ἱερεῖς.

וַֽיְלַמְּדוּ֙ בִּֽיהוּדָ֔ה וְעִ֨מָּהֶ֔ם סֵ֖פֶר תּוֹרַ֣ת יְהוָ֑ה וַיָּסֹ֨בּוּ֙ בְּכָל־עָרֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה וַֽיְלַמְּד֖וּ בָּעָֽם׃

καὶ ἐδίδασκον ἐν Ἰούδᾳ, καὶ μετ᾽ αὐτῶν βύβλος νόμου Κυρίου, καὶ διῆλθον ἐν ταῖς πόλεσιν Ἰούδα καὶ ἐδίδασκον τὸν λαόν.

וַיְהִ֣י ׀ פַּ֣חַד יְהוָ֗ה עַ֚ל כָּל־מַמְלְכ֣וֹת הָֽאֲרָצ֔וֹת אֲשֶׁ֖ר סְבִיב֣וֹת יְהוּדָ֑ה וְלֹ֥א נִלְחֲמ֖וּ עִם־יְהוֹשָׁפָֽט׃

καὶ ἐγένετο ἔκστασις Κυρίου ἐπὶ πάσαις ταῖς βασιλείαις τῆς γῆς κύκλῳ Ἰούδα, καὶ οὐκ ἐπολέμουν πρὸς Ἰωσαφάτ.

Itaque factus est pavor Dómini super ómnia regna terrárum, quæ erant per gyrum Iuda, nec audébant belláre contra Iósaphat.

וּמִן־פְּלִשְׁתִּ֗ים מְבִיאִ֧ים לִֽיהוֹשָׁפָ֛ט מִנְחָ֖ה וְכֶ֣סֶף מַשָּׂ֑א גַּ֣ם הָֽעַרְבִיאִ֗ים מְבִיאִ֥ים לוֹ֙ צֹ֕אן אֵילִ֔ים שִׁבְעַ֤ת אֲלָפִים֙ וּשְׁבַ֣ע מֵא֔וֹת וּתְיָשִׁ֕ים שִׁבְעַ֥ת אֲלָפִ֖ים וּשְׁבַ֥ע מֵאֽוֹת׃ פ

καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν ἀλλοφύλων ἔφερον πρὸς Ἰωσαφὰτ δῶρα καὶ ἀργύριον καὶ δόματα, καὶ οἱ Ἄραβες ἔφερον αὐτῷ κριοὺς προβάτων ἑπτακισχιλίους ἑπτακοσίους.

Sed et Philisthǽi Iósaphat múnera deferébant, et vectígal argénti: Arabes quoque adducébant pécora, aríetum septem míllia septingénta, et hircórum tótidem.

καὶ ἦν Ιωσαφὰτ πορευόμενος μείζων ἕως εἰς ὕψος, καὶ ᾠκοδόμησεν οἰκήσεις ἐν τῇ Ἰουδαίᾳ καὶ πόλεις ὀχυράς.
