בִּשְׁנַ֣ת שְׁתַּ֔יִם לְיוֹאָ֥שׁ בֶּן־יוֹאָחָ֖ז מֶ֣לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל מָלַ֛ךְ אֲמַצְיָ֥הוּ בֶן־יוֹאָ֖שׁ מֶ֥לֶךְ יְהוּדָֽה׃

Ἐν ἔτει δευτέρῳ τῷ Ἰωὰς υἱῷ Ἰωαχὰς βασιλεῖ Ἰσραὴλ καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν Ἀμεσσείας υἱὸς Ἰωὰς βασιλεὺς Ἰούδα.

בֶּן־עֶשְׂרִ֨ים וְחָמֵ֤שׁ שָׁנָה֙ הָיָ֣ה בְמָלְכ֔וֹ וְעֶשְׂרִ֤ים וָתֵ֨שַׁע֙ שָׁנָ֔ה מָלַ֖ךְ בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם וְשֵׁ֣ם אִמּ֔וֹ יהועדין מִן־יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

υἱὸς εἴκοσι καὶ πέντε ἐτῶν ἦν ἐν τῷ βασιλεύειν αὐτόν, καὶ εἴκοσι καὶ ἐννέα ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ἰερουσαλήμ, καὶ ὄνομα τῆς μητρὸς αὐτοῦ Ἰωαδεὶμ ἐξ Ἰερουσαλήμ.

καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ εὐθὲς ὀφθαλμοῖς Κυρίου, πλὴν οὐχ ὡς Δαυεὶδ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ · κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησεν Ἰωὰς πατὴρ αὐτοῦ ἐποίησεν.

Et fecit rectum coram Dómino, verúmtamen non ut David pater eius. Iuxta ómnia, quæ fecit Ioas pater suus, fecit:

πλὴν τὰ ὑψηλὰ οὐκ ἐξῆρεν · ἔτι λαὸς ἐθυσίασεν καὶ ἐθυμίων ἐν τοῖς ὑψηλοῖς.

וַיְהִ֕י כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר חָזְקָ֥ה הַמַּמְלָכָ֖ה בְּיָד֑וֹ וַיַּךְ֙ אֶת עֲבָדָ֔י־ו הַמַּכִּ֖ים אֶת הַ־מֶּ֥לֶךְ אָבִֽיו׃

καὶ ἐγένετο ὅτε κατίσχυσεν βασιλεία ἐν χειρὶ αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐπάταξεν τοὺς δούλους αὐτοῦ τοὺς πατάξαντας τὸν πατέρα αὐτοῦ.

וְאֶת־בְּנֵ֥י הַמַּכִּ֖ים לֹ֣א הֵמִ֑ית כַּכָּת֣וּב בְּסֵ֣פֶר תּֽוֹרַת־מֹ֠שֶׁה אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֨ה יְהוָ֜ה לֵאמֹ֗ר לֹא־יוּמְת֨וּ אָב֤וֹת עַל־בָּנִים֙ וּבָנִים֙ לֹא־יוּמְת֣וּ עַל־אָב֔וֹת כִּ֛י אִם־אִ֥ישׁ בְּחֶטְא֖וֹ ימות׃

καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς τῶν παταξάντων οὐκ ἐθανάτωσεν, καθὼς γέγραπται ἐν βιβλίῳ νόμων Μωυσῆ, ὡς ἐνετείλατο Κύριος λέγων Οὐκ ἀποθανοῦνται πατέρες ὑπὲρ υἱῶν, καὶ υἱοὶ οὐκ ἀποθανοῦνται ὑπὲρ πατέρων, ὅτι ἀλλ᾽ ἐν ταῖς ἁμαρτίαις αὐτοῦ ἀποθανεῖται.

אָ֣ז שָׁלַ֤ח אֲמַצְיָה֙ מַלְאָכִ֔ים אֶל־יְהוֹאָ֨שׁ בֶּן־יְהוֹאָחָ֧ז בֶּן־יֵה֛וּא מֶ֥לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר לְכָ֖ה נִתְרָאֶ֥ה פָנִֽים׃

Τότε ἀπέστειλεν Ἀμεσσείας ἀγγέλους πρὸς Ἰωὰς υἱὸν Ἰωαχὰς υἱοῦ Εἰοὺ βασιλέως Ἰσραὴλ λέγων Δεῦρο ὀφθῶμεν προσώποις.

καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Ἰωὰς βασιλεὺς Ἰσραὴλ πρὸς Ἀμεσσείαν βασιλέα Ἰούδα λέγων ἀκὰν ἐν τῷ Λιβάνῳ ἀπέστειλεν πρὸς τὴν κέδρον τὴν ἐν τῷ Λιβάνῳ λέγων Δὸς τὴν θυγατέρα σου τῷ υἱῷ μου εἰς γυναῖκα · καὶ διῆλθον τὰ θηρία τοῦ ἀγροῦ τὰ ἐν τῷ Λιβάνῳ καὶ συνεπάτησαν τὸν ἀκάνα.

הַכֵּ֤ה הִכִּ֨יתָ֙ אֶת־אֱד֔וֹם וּֽנְשָׂאֲךָ֖ לִבֶּ֑ךָ הִכָּבֵד֙ וְשֵׁ֣ב בְּבֵיתֶ֔ךָ וְלָ֤מָּה תִתְגָּרֶה֙ בְּרָעָ֔ה וְנָ֣פַלְתָּ֔ה אַתָּ֖ה וִיהוּדָ֥ה עִמָּֽךְ׃

τύπτων ἐπάταξας τὴν Ἰδουμαίαν, καὶ ἐπῆρέν σε καρδία σου · ἐνδοξάσθητι καθήμενος ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ σου. καὶ ἵνα τί ἐρίζεις ἐν κακίᾳ σου; καὶ πεσῇ σὺ καὶ Ἰούδας μετὰ σοῦ.

Percútiens invaluísti super Edom, et sublevávit te cor tuum: conténtus esto glória, et sede in domo tua: quare próvocas malum, ut cadas tu et Iudas tecum?

Thou hast indeed smitten Edom, and thine heart hath lifted thee up: glory [of this], and tarry at home: for why shouldest thou meddle to [thy] hurt, that thou shouldest fall, [even] thou, and Judah with thee?

וְלֹא־שָׁמַ֣ע אֲמַצְיָ֔הוּ וַיַּ֨עַל יְהוֹאָ֤שׁ מֶֽלֶךְ־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וַיִּתְרָא֣וּ פָנִ֔ים ה֖וּא וַאֲמַצְיָ֣הוּ מֶֽלֶךְ־יְהוּדָ֑ה בְּבֵ֥ית שֶׁ֖מֶשׁ אֲשֶׁ֥ר לִיהוּדָֽה׃

καὶ οὐκ ἤκουσεν Ἀμεσσείας · καὶ ἀνέβη βασιλεὺς Ἰσραήλ, καὶ ὤφθη προσώποις αὐτὸς καὶ Ἀμεσσείας βασιλεὺς Ἰούδα, ἐν Βαιθσάμυς γῇ τοῦ Ἰούδα ·

Et non acquiévit Amasías. Ascendítque Ioas rex Israel, et vidérunt se, ipse et Amasías rex Iuda, in Béthsames óppido Iudæ.

וַיִּנָּ֥גֶף יְהוּדָ֖ה לִפְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיָּנֻ֖סוּ אִ֥ישׁ לאהלו׃

καὶ ἔπταισεν Ἰούδας ἀπὸ προσώπου Ἰσραήλ, καὶ ἔφυγεν ἀνὴρ εἰς τὸ σκήνωμα αὐτοῦ.

καὶ τὸν Ἀμεσσείαν υἱὸν Ἰωὰς υἱοῦ Ἰωαχὰς συνέλαβεν Ἰωὰς βασιλεὺς Ἰσραὴλ ἐν Βαιθσάμυς · καὶ ἦλθεν εἰς Ἰερουσαλήμ, καὶ καθεῖλεν ἐν τῷ τείχει Ἰερουσαλὴμ ἐν τῇ πύλῃ Ἐφράιμ ἕως πύλης τῆς γωνίας τετρακοσίους πήχεις.

וְלָקַ֣ח אֶת־כָּל הַ־זָּהָב וְ֠הַ־כֶּסֶף וְאֵ֨ת כָּל הַ־כֵּלִ֜ים הַנִּמְצְאִ֣ים בֵּית־יְהוָ֗ה וּבְאֹֽצְרוֹת֙ בֵּ֣ית הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וְאֵ֖ת בְּנֵ֣י הַתַּֽעֲרֻב֑וֹת וַיָּ֖שָׁב שֹׁמְרֽוֹנָה׃

καὶ ἔλαβεν τὸ χρυσίον καὶ τὸ ἀργύριον καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη τὰ εὑρεθέντα ἐν οἴκῳ Κυρίου καὶ ἐν θησαυροῖς οἴκου τοῦ βασιλέως καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς τῶν συμμίξεων, καὶ ἀπέστρεψεν εἰς Σαμάρειαν.

וַיִּשְׁכַּ֤ב יְהוֹאָשׁ֙ עִם אֲבֹתָ֔י־ו וַיִּקָּבֵר֙ בְּשֹׁ֣מְר֔וֹן עִ֖ם מַלְכֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַיִּמְלֹ֛ךְ יָרָבְעָ֥ם בְּנ֖וֹ תַּחְתָּֽיו׃ פ

καὶ ἐκοιμήθη Ἰωὰς μετὰ τῶν πατέρων αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐτάφη ἐν Σαμαρείᾳ μετὰ τῶν βασιλέων Ἰσραήλ · καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν Ἰεροβοὰμ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ ἀντ᾽ αὐτοῦ.
