וַֽיְהִי֙ בִּשְׁנַ֣ת שָׁלֹ֔שׁ לְהוֹשֵׁ֥עַ בֶּן־אֵלָ֖ה מֶ֣לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל מָלַ֛ךְ חִזְקִיָּ֥ה בֶן־אָחָ֖ז מֶ֥לֶךְ יְהוּדָֽה׃

בֶּן־עֶשְׂרִ֨ים וְחָמֵ֤שׁ שָׁנָה֙ הָיָ֣ה בְמָלְכ֔וֹ וְעֶשְׂרִ֤ים וָתֵ֨שַׁע֙ שָׁנָ֔ה מָלַ֖ךְ בִּירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם וְשֵׁ֣ם אִמּ֔וֹ אֲבִ֖י בַּת־זְכַרְיָֽה׃

ה֣וּא ׀ הֵסִ֣יר אֶת הַ־בָּמ֗וֹת וְשִׁבַּר֙ אֶת הַ־מַּצֵּבֹ֔ת וְכָרַ֖ת אֶת הָֽ־אֲשֵׁרָ֑ה וְכִתַּת֩ נְחַ֨שׁ הַנְּחֹ֜שֶׁת אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂ֣ה מֹשֶׁ֗ה כִּ֣י עַד הַ־יָּמִ֤ים הָהֵ֨מָּה֙ הָי֤וּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ מְקַטְּרִ֣ים ל֔וֹ וַיִּקְרָא ל֖־וֹ נְחֻשְׁתָּֽן׃

αὐτὸς ἐξῆρεν τὰ ὑψηλά, καὶ συνέτριψεν τὰς στήλας, καὶ ἐξωλέθρευσεν τὰ ἄλση καὶ τὸν ὄφιν τὸν χαλκοῦν ὃν ἐποίησεν Μωυσῆς, ὅτι ἕως τῶν ἡμερῶν ἐκείνων ἦσαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ θυμιῶντες αὐτῷ · καὶ ἐκάλεσεν αὐτὸν Νεσθαλεί.

Ipse dissipávit excélsa, et contrívit státuas, et succídit lucos, confregítque serpéntem ǽneum, quem fécerat Móyses: síquidem usque ad illud tempus fílii Israel adolébant ei incénsum: vocavítque nomen eius Nohéstan.

בַּיהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בָּטָ֑ח וְאַחֲרָ֞יו לֹא־הָיָ֣ה כָמֹ֗הוּ בְּכֹל֙ מַלְכֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֔ה וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר הָי֖וּ לְפָנָֽיו׃

ἐν κυρίῳ θεῷ Ἰσραὴλ ἤλπισεν, καὶ μετ᾽ αὐτὸν οὐκ ἐγενήθη ὅμοιος αὐτῷ ἐν βασιλεῦσιν Ἰούδα καὶ ἐν τοῖς γενομένοις ἔμπροσθεν αὐτοῦ ·

καὶ ἐκολλήθη τῷ κυρίῳ, οὐκ ἀπέστη ὄπισθεν αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐφύλαξεν τὰς ἐντολὰς αὐτοῦ ὅσας ἐνετείλατο Μωυσῇ.

αὐτὸς ἐπάταξεν τοὺς ἀλλοφύλους ἕως Γάζης καὶ ἕως ὁρίου αὐτῆς, ἀπὸ πύργου φυλασσόντων καὶ ἕως πόλεως ὀχυρᾶς.

וַֽיִּלְכְּדֻ֗הָ מִקְצֵה֙ שָׁלֹ֣שׁ שָׁנִ֔ים בִּשְׁנַת־שֵׁ֖שׁ לְחִזְקִיָּ֑ה הִ֣יא שְׁנַת־תֵּ֗שַׁע לְהוֹשֵׁ֨עַ֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל נִלְכְּדָ֖ה שֹׁמְרֽוֹן׃

καὶ κατελάβετο αὐτὴν ἀπὸ τέλους τριῶν ἐτῶν ἐν ἔτει ἕκτῳ τῷ Ἑζεκίᾳ, αὐτὸς ἐνιαυτὸς ἔνατος τῷ Ὡσῆε βασιλεῖ Ἰσραήλ, καὶ συνελήμφθη Σαμάρεια.

וַיֶּ֧גֶל מֶֽלֶךְ־אַשּׁ֛וּר אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל אַשּׁ֑וּרָה וַיַּנְחֵ֞ם בַּחְלַ֧ח וּבְחָב֛וֹר נְהַ֥ר גּוֹזָ֖ן וְעָרֵ֥י מָדָֽי׃

καὶ ἀπῴκισεν βασιλεὺς Ἀσσυρίων τὴν Σαμάρειαν εἰς Ἀσσυρίους, καὶ ἔθηκεν αὐτοὺς ἐν Ἁλάε καὶ ἐν Ἁβιὼρ ποταμῷ Γωζὰν καὶ Ὀρὴ Μήδων ·

καὶ ἔδωκεν Ἑζεκίας πᾶν τὸ ἀργύριον τὸ εὑρεθὲν ἐν οἴκῳ Κυρίου καὶ ἐν θησαυροῖς οἴκου τοῦ βασιλέως.

Καὶ ἀπέστειλεν βασιλεὺς Ἀσσυρίων τὸν Θανθὰν καὶ τὸν Ῥαφεὶς καὶ τὸν Ῥαψάκην ἐκ Λαχεὶς πρὸς τὸν βασιλέα Ἑζεκίαν ἐν δυνάμει βαρείᾳ ἐπὶ Ἰερουσαλήμ · καὶ ἀνέβησαν καὶ ἦλθον εἰς Ἰερουσαλήμ, καὶ ἔστησαν ἐν τῷ ὑδραγωγῷ τῆς κολυμβήθρας τῆς ἄνω ἐστιν ἐν τῇ ὁδῷ τοῦ ἀγροῦ τοῦ γναφέως.

וַֽיִּקְרְאוּ֙ אֶל הַ־מֶּ֔לֶךְ וַיֵּצֵ֧א אֲלֵהֶ֛ם אֶלְיָקִ֥ים בֶּן־חִלְקִיָּ֖הוּ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עַל הַ־בָּ֑יִת וְשֶׁבְנָה֙ הַסֹּפֵ֔ר וְיוֹאָ֥ח בֶּן־אָסָ֖ף הַמַּזְכִּֽיר׃

καὶ ἐβόησαν πρὸς Ἑζεκίαν, καὶ ἦλθον πρὸς αὐτὸν Ἐλιακεὶμ υἱὸς Χελκίου οἰκονόμος καὶ Σόμνας γραμματεὺς καὶ Ἰωσαφὰτ ἀναμιμνήσκων.

אָמַ֨רְתָּ֙ אַךְ־דְּבַר־שְׂפָתַ֔יִם עֵצָ֥ה וּגְבוּרָ֖ה לַמִּלְחָמָ֑ה עַתָּה֙ עַל־מִ֣י בָטַ֔חְתָּ כִּ֥י מָרַ֖דְתָּ בִּֽי׃
