וּכְהִתְפַּלֵּ֤ל עֶזְרָא֙ וּכְ֨הִתְוַדֹּת֔וֹ בֹּכֶה֙ וּמִתְנַפֵּ֔ל לִפְנֵ֖י בֵּ֣ית הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים נִקְבְּצוּ֩ אֵלָ֨יו מִיִּשְׂרָאֵ֜ל קָהָ֣ל רַב־מְאֹ֗ד אֲנָשִׁ֤ים וְנָשִׁים֙ וִֽילָדִ֔ים כִּֽי־בָכ֥וּ הָעָ֖ם הַרְבֵּה־בֶֽכֶה׃ ס

Καὶ ὡς ἐπροσηύξατο Ἔσρας, καὶ ὡς προσηγόρευσεν κλαίων προσευχόμενος ἐνώπιον οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ, συνήχθησαν πρὸς αὐτὸν ἀπὸ Ἰσραὴλ ἐκκλησία πολλὴ σφόδρα, ἄνδρες καὶ γυναῖκες καὶ νεανίσκοι · ὅτι ἔκλαυσεν ὁ λαὸς καὶ ὕψωσεν κλαίων.

וְעַתָּ֣ה נִֽכְרָת־בְּרִ֣ית לֵ֠אלֹהֵינוּ לְהוֹצִ֨יא כָל־נָשִׁ֜ים וְהַנּוֹלָ֤ד מֵהֶם֙ בַּעֲצַ֣ת אֲדֹנָ֔י וְהַחֲרֵדִ֖ים בְּמִצְוַ֣ת אֱלֹהֵ֑ינוּ וְכַתּוֹרָ֖ה יֵעָשֶֽׂה׃

וְכֹל֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר לֹֽא־יָב֜וֹא לִשְׁלֹ֣שֶׁת הַיָּמִ֗ים כַּעֲצַ֤ת הַשָּׂרִים֙ וְהַזְּקֵנִ֔ים יָחֳרַ֖ם כָּל רְכוּשׁ֑־וֹ וְה֥וּא יִבָּדֵ֖ל מִקְּהַ֥ל הַגּוֹלָֽה׃ ס

Πᾶς ὃς ἄν μὴ ἔλθῃ εἰς τρεῖς ἡμέρας ὡς ἡ βουλὴ τῶν ἀρχόντων καὶ τῶν πρεσβυτέρων, ἀναθεματισθήσεται πᾶσα ἡ ὕπαρξις αὐτοῦ, καὶ αὐτὸς διασταλήσεται ἀπὸ ἐκκλησίας τῆς ἀποικίας.

et omnis qui non vénerit in tribus diébus iuxta consílium príncipum et seniórum, auferétur univérsa substántia eius, et ipse abiciétur de cœtu transmigratiónis.

Καὶ εὑρέθη ἀπὸ υἱῶν τῶν ἱερέων οἳ ἐκάθισαν γυναῖκας ἀλλοτρίας · ἀπὸ υἱῶν Ἰησοῦ υἱοῦ Ἰωσεδέκ, καὶ ἀδελφοὶ αὐτοῦ Μεεσσὴλ καὶ Ἐλιέζερ καὶ Ἰαρεὶμ καὶ Γαδαλειά ·
