הַדָּבָר֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָיָ֣ה אֶֽל־יִרְמְיָ֔הוּ מֵאֵ֥ת יְהוָ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר׃

Ἀνάστηθι καὶ κατάβηθι εἰς οἶκον τοῦ κεραμέως, καὶ ἐκεῖ ἀκούσῃ τοὺς λόγους μου.

וְנִשְׁחַ֣ת הַכְּלִ֗י אֲשֶׁ֨ר ה֥וּא עֹשֶׂ֛ה בַּחֹ֖מֶר בְּיַ֣ד הַיּוֹצֵ֑ר וְשָׁ֗ב וַֽיַּעֲשֵׂ֨הוּ֙ כְּלִ֣י אַחֵ֔ר כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר יָשַׁ֛ר בְּעֵינֵ֥י הַיּוֹצֵ֖ר לַעֲשֽׂוֹת׃ פ

καὶ ἔπεσεν τὸ ἄγγιον αὐτὸς ἐποίει ἐν ταῖς χερσὶν αὐτοῦ · καὶ πάλιν αὐτὸς ἐποίησεν αὐτὸ ἄγγιον ἕτερον καθὼς ἤρεσεν ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ ποιῆσαι

Et dissipátum est vas, quod ipse faciébat e luto mánibus suis: conversúsque fecit illud vas álterum, sicut placúerat in óculis eius ut fáceret.

הֲכַיּוֹצֵ֨ר הַזֶּ֜ה לֹא־אוּכַ֨ל לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת לָכֶ֛ם בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל נְאֻם־יְהוָ֑ה הִנֵּ֤ה כַחֹ֨מֶר֙ בְּיַ֣ד הַיּוֹצֵ֔ר כֵּן־אַתֶּ֥ם בְּיָדִ֖י בֵּ֥ית יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ ס

Εἰ καθὼς κεραμεὺς οὗτος οὐ δυνήσομαι τοῦ ποιῆσαι ὑμᾶς, οἶκος Ἰσραήλ; ἰδοὺ ὡς πηλὸς τοῦ κεραμέως ὑμεῖς ἐστὲ ἐν χερσίν μου.

Numquid sicut fígulus iste, non pótero vobis fácere, domus Israel, ait Dóminus? ecce sicut lutum in manu fíguli, sic vos in manu mea, domus Israel.

רֶ֣גַע אֲדַבֵּ֔ר עַל־גּ֖וֹי וְעַל־מַמְלָכָ֑ה לִנְת֥וֹשׁ וְלִנְת֖וֹץ וּֽלְהַאֲבִֽיד׃

πέρας λαλήσω ἐπὶ ἔθνος ἐπὶ βασιλείαν τοῦ ἐξᾶραι αὐτοὺς καὶ τοῦ ἀπολλύειν,

וְשָׁב֙ הַגּ֣וֹי הַה֔וּא מֵרָ֣עָת֔וֹ אֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבַּ֖רְתִּי עָלָ֑יו וְנִֽחַמְתִּי֙ עַל הָ֣־רָעָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר חָשַׁ֖בְתִּי לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת לֽוֹ׃ ס

καὶ ἐπιστραφῇ τὸ ἔθνος ἐκεῖνο ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν κακῶν αὐτῶν, καὶ μετανοήσω περὶ τῶν κακῶν ὧν ἐλογισάμην τοῦ ποιῆσαι αὐτοῖς.

Si pœniténtiam égerit gens illa a malo suo, quod locútus sum advérsus eam: agam et ego pœniténtiam super malo, quod cogitávi ut fácerem ei.

καὶ ποιήσωσιν τὰ πονηρὰ ἐναντίον μου τοῦ μὴ ἀκούειν τῆς φωνῆς μου, καὶ μετανοήσω περὶ τῶν ἀγαθῶν ὧν ἐλάλησα τοῦ ποιῆσαι αὐτοῖς.

Si fécerit malum in óculis meis, ut non áudiat vocem meam: pœniténtiam agam super bono, quod locútus sum ut fácerem ei.

καὶ νῦν εἰπὸν πρὸς ἄνδρας Ἰούδα καὶ πρὸς τοὺς κατοικοῦντας Ἰερουσαλήμ Ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ πλάσσω ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς κακά, καὶ λογίζομαι ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς λογισμόν · ἀποστραφήτω δὴ ἕκαστος ἀπὸ ὁδοῦ αὐτοῦ τῆς πονηρᾶς, καὶ καλλίονα ποιήσετε τὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα ὑμῶν.

Nunc ergo dic viro Iuda, et habitatóribus Ierúsalem, dicens: Hæc dicit Dóminus: Ecce ego fingo contra vos malum, et cógito contra vos cogitatiónem: revertátur unusquísque a via sua mala, et dirígite vias vestras et stúdia vestra.

וְאָמְר֖וּ נוֹאָ֑שׁ כִּֽי־אַחֲרֵ֤י מַחְשְׁבוֹתֵ֨ינוּ֙ נֵלֵ֔ךְ וְאִ֛ישׁ שְׁרִר֥וּת לִבּֽוֹ הָ־רָ֖ע נַעֲשֶֽׂה׃ ס

καὶ εἶπαν Ἀνδριούμεθα, ὅτι ὀπίσω τῶν ἀποστροφῶν ἡμῶν πορευσόμεθα, καὶ ἕκαστος τὰ ἀρεστὰ τῆς καρδίας αὐτοῦ τῆς πονηρᾶς ποιήσομεν.

הֲיַעֲזֹ֥ב מִצּ֛וּר שָׂדַ֖י שֶׁ֣לֶג לְבָנ֑וֹן אִם־יִנָּתְשׁ֗וּ מַ֛יִם זָרִ֥ים קָרִ֖ים נוֹזְלִֽים׃

μὴ ἐκλείψουσιν ἀπὸ πέτρας μαστοί, χιὼν ἀπὸ τοῦ Λιβάνου; μὴ ἐκκλινεῖ ὕδωρ βιαίως ἀνέμῳ φερόμενον;

Numquid defíciet de petra agri nix Líbani? aut evélli possunt aquæ erumpéntes frígidæ, et defluentés?

כִּֽי שְׁכֵחֻ֥־נִי עַמִּ֖י לַשָּׁ֣וְא יְקַטֵּ֑רוּ וַיַּכְשִׁל֤וּם בְּדַרְכֵיהֶם֙ שְׁבִילֵ֣י עוֹלָ֔ם לָלֶ֣כֶת נְתִיב֔וֹת דֶּ֖רֶךְ לֹ֥א סְלוּלָֽה׃

ὅτι ἐπελάθοντό μου λαός μου, εἰς κενὸν ἐθυμίασαν, καὶ ἀσθενήσουσιν ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτῶν σχοίνους αἰωνίους τοῦ ἐπιβῆναι τρίβους οὐκ ἔχοντας ὁδὸν εἰς πορείαν,

Numquid rédditur pro bono malum, quia fodérunt fóveam ánimæ meæ? Recordáre quod stéterim in conspéctu tuo ut lóquerer pro eis bonum, et avérterem indignatiónem tuam ab eis.
