וְנִשְׁחַ֣ת הַכְּלִ֗י אֲשֶׁ֨ר ה֥וּא עֹשֶׂ֛ה בַּחֹ֖מֶר בְּיַ֣ד הַיּוֹצֵ֑ר וְשָׁ֗ב וַֽיַּעֲשֵׂ֨הוּ֙ כְּלִ֣י אַחֵ֔ר כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר יָשַׁ֛ר בְּעֵינֵ֥י הַיּוֹצֵ֖ר לַעֲשֽׂוֹת׃ פ

καὶ ἔπεσεν τὸ ἄγγιον ὃ αὐτὸς ἐποίει ἐν ταῖς χερσὶν αὐτοῦ · καὶ πάλιν αὐτὸς ἐποίησεν αὐτὸ ἄγγιον ἕτερον καθὼς ἤρεσεν ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ ποιῆσαι

Et dissipátum est vas, quod ipse faciébat e luto mánibus suis: conversúsque fecit illud vas álterum, sicut placúerat in óculis eius ut fáceret.

Εἰ καθὼς ὁ κεραμεὺς οὗτος οὐ δυνήσομαι τοῦ ποιῆσαι ὑμᾶς, οἶκος Ἰσραήλ; ἰδοὺ ὡς ὁ πηλὸς τοῦ κεραμέως ὑμεῖς ἐστὲ ἐν χερσίν μου.

Numquid sicut fígulus iste, non pótero vobis fácere, domus Israel, ait Dóminus? ecce sicut lutum in manu fíguli, sic vos in manu mea, domus Israel.

καὶ ἐπιστραφῇ τὸ ἔθνος ἐκεῖνο ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν κακῶν αὐτῶν, καὶ μετανοήσω περὶ τῶν κακῶν ὧν ἐλογισάμην τοῦ ποιῆσαι αὐτοῖς.

καὶ ποιήσωσιν τὰ πονηρὰ ἐναντίον μου τοῦ μὴ ἀκούειν τῆς φωνῆς μου, καὶ μετανοήσω περὶ τῶν ἀγαθῶν ὧν ἐλάλησα τοῦ ποιῆσαι αὐτοῖς.

καὶ νῦν εἰπὸν πρὸς ἄνδρας Ἰούδα καὶ πρὸς τοὺς κατοικοῦντας Ἰερουσαλήμ Ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ πλάσσω ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς κακά, καὶ λογίζομαι ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς λογισμόν · ἀποστραφήτω δὴ ἕκαστος ἀπὸ ὁδοῦ αὐτοῦ τῆς πονηρᾶς, καὶ καλλίονα ποιήσετε τὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα ὑμῶν.

καὶ εἶπαν Ἀνδριούμεθα, ὅτι ὀπίσω τῶν ἀποστροφῶν ἡμῶν πορευσόμεθα, καὶ ἕκαστος τὰ ἀρεστὰ τῆς καρδίας αὐτοῦ τῆς πονηρᾶς ποιήσομεν.

μὴ ἐκλείψουσιν ἀπὸ πέτρας μαστοί, ἢ χιὼν ἀπὸ τοῦ Λιβάνου; μὴ ἐκκλινεῖ ὕδωρ βιαίως ἀνέμῳ φερόμενον;

Numquid defíciet de petra agri nix Líbani? aut evélli possunt aquæ erumpéntes frígidæ, et defluentés?

Tu autem Dómine scis omne consílium eórum advérsum me in mortem: ne propitiéris iniquitáti eórum, et peccátum eórum a fácie tua non deleátur: fiant corruéntes in conspéctu tuo, in témpore furóris tui abútere eis.
