וַֽיְהִי֙ בַּשָּׁנָ֣ה הָרְבִיעִ֔ת לִיהוֹיָקִ֥ים בֶּן־יֹאשִׁיָּ֖הוּ מֶ֣לֶךְ יְהוּדָ֑ה הָיָ֞ה הַדָּבָ֤ר הַזֶּה֙ אֶֽל־יִרְמְיָ֔הוּ מֵאֵ֥ת יְהוָ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר׃

Ἐν τῷ ἐνιαυτῷ τῷ τετάρτῳ Ἰωακεὶμ υἱοῦ Ἰωσεία βασιλέως Ἰούδα ἐγενήθη λόγος Κυρίου πρὸς μὲ λέγων

קַח לְ־ךָ֮ מְגִלַּת־סֵפֶר֒ וְכָתַבְתָּ֣ אֵלֶ֗יהָ אֵ֣ת כָּל הַ־דְּבָרִ֞ים אֲשֶׁר־דִּבַּ֧רְתִּי אֵלֶ֛יךָ עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל וְעַל־יְהוּדָ֖ה וְעַל־כָּל הַ־גּוֹיִ֑ם מִיּ֞וֹם דִּבַּ֤רְתִּי אֵלֶ֨יךָ֙ מִימֵ֣י יֹאשִׁיָּ֔הוּ וְעַ֖ד הַיּ֥וֹם הַזֶּֽה׃

Λάβε σεαυτῷ χαρτίον βιβλίου, καὶ γράψον ἐπ᾽ αὐτοῦ πάντας τοὺς λόγους οὓς ἐλάλησα πρὸς σὲ ἐπὶ Ἰερουσαλὴμ καὶ ἐπὶ Ἰουδὰ καὶ ἐπὶ πάντα τὰ ἔθνη ἀφ᾽ ἧς ἡμέρας λαλήσαντός μου πρὀς σέ, ἀφ᾽ ἡμερῶν Ἰωσεία βασιλέως Ἰούδα καὶ ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης.

Tolle volúmen libri, et scribes in eo ómnia verba, quæ locútus sum tibi advérsum Israel et Iudam, et advérsum omnes gentes: a die, qua locútus sum ad te ex diébus Iosíæ usque ad diem hanc:

Take thee a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto thee against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spake unto thee, from the days of Josiah, even unto this day.

ἴσως ἀκούσεται οἶκος Ἰούδα πάντα τὰ κακὰ ἐγὼ λογίζομαι ποιῆσαι αὐτοῖς, ἵνα ἀποστρέψωσιν ἀπὸ ὁδοῦ αὐτῶν τῆς πονηρᾶς, καὶ ἵλεως ἔσομαι ταῖς ἀδικίαις αὐτῶν καὶ ταῖς ἁμαρτίαις αὐτῶν.

si forte audiénte domo Iuda univérsa mala, quæ ego cógito fácere eis, revertátur unusquísque a via sua péssima: et propítius ero iniquitáti, et peccáto eórum.

καὶ ἀναγνώσῃ ἐν τῷ χαρτίῳ τούτῳ εἰς τὰ ὦτα τοῦ λαοῦ ἐν οἴκῳ Κυρίου ἐν ἡμέρᾳ νηστείας, καὶ ἐν ὠσὶ παντὸς Ἰούδα τῶν ἐρχομένων ἐκ πόλεως αὐτῶν ἀναγνώσῃ αὐτοῖς.

אוּלַ֞י תִּפֹּ֤ל תְּחִנָּתָם֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה וְיָשֻׁ֕בוּ אִ֖ישׁ מִדַּרְכּ֣וֹ הָרָעָ֑ה כִּֽי־גָד֤וֹל הָאַף֙ וְהַ֣חֵמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל הָ־עָ֥ם הַזֶּֽה׃

ἴσως πεσεῖται ἔλεος αὐτῶν κατὰ πρόσωπον Κυρίου, καὶ ἀποστρέψουσιν ἐκ τῆς ὁδοῦ αὐτῶν τῆς πονηρᾶς, ὅτι μέγας θυμὸς καὶ ὀργὴ Κυρίου ἣν ἐλάλησεν ἐπὶ τὸν λαὸν τοῦτον.

καὶ ἀνεγίνωσκε βαροὺχ ἐν τῷ βιβλίῳ τοὺς λόγους Ἰερεμίου ἐν οἴκῳ Κυρίου, ἐν οἴκῳ Γαμαρείου υἱοῦ Σαφὰν τοῦ γραμματέως, ἐν τῇ αὐλῇ τῇ ἐπάνω ἐν προθύροις πύλης τοῦ οἴκου Κυρίου τῆς καινῆς καὶ ἐν ὠσὶ παντὸς τοῦ λαοῦ.

καὶ κατέβη εἰς οἰκίαν τοῦ βασιλέως, εἰς τὸν οἶκον τοῦ γραμματέως, καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐκεῖ πάντες οἱ ἄρχοντες ἐκάθηντο, Ἐλεισαμὰ γραμματεὺς καὶ Δαλαίας υἱὸς Σελεμίου καὶ Ἰωναθὰν υἱὸς Ἀκχοβὼρ καὶ Γαμαρίας υἱὸς Σαφὰν καὶ Σεδεκίας υἱὸς Ἁνανίου καὶ πάντες οἱ ἄρχοντες,

καὶ ἀπέστειλαν πάντες οἱ ἄρχοντες πρὸς Βαροὺχ υἱὸν Νηρίου υἱὸν Ναθανίου υἱοῦ Σελεμίου υἱοῦ Χουσεὶ λέγοντες Τὸ χαρτίον ἐν σὺ ἀναγινώσκεις ἐν αὐτῷ ἐν ὠσὶ τοῦ λαοῦ, λάβε αὐτὸ εἰς τὴν χεῖρά σου καὶ ἧκε. καὶ ἔλαβεν Βαροὺχ τὸ χαρτίον καὶ κατέβη πρὸς αὐτούς.

Misérunt ítaque omnes príncipes ad Baruch, Iudi fílium Nathaníæ fílii Selemíæ fílii Chusi, dicéntes: Volúmen ex quo legísti, audiénte pópulo, sume in manu tua, et veni. Tulit ergo Baruch fílius Neríæ volúmen in manu sua, et venit ad eos.

Therefore all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, unto Baruch, saying, Take in thine hand the roll wherein thou hast read in the ears of the people, and come. So Baruch the son of Neriah took the roll in his hand, and came unto them.

καὶ ἐγενήθη ὡς ἤκουσαν πάντας τοὺς λόγους, συνεβουλεύσαντο ἕκαστος πρὸς τὸν πλησίον αὐτοῦ καὶ εἶπαν Ἀναγγέλλοντες ἀναγγείλωμεν τῷ βασιλεῖ ἅπαντας τοὺς λόγους τούτους.
