וַֽיְהִי־אִ֥ישׁ מֵֽהַר־אֶפְרָ֖יִם וּשְׁמ֥וֹ מִיכָֽיְהוּ׃

Καὶ ἐγένετο ἀνὴρ ἀπὸ ὄρους Ἐφράιμ, καὶ ὄνομα αὐτῷ Μειχαίας.

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לְאִמּ֡וֹ אֶלֶף֩ וּמֵאָ֨ה הַכֶּ֜סֶף אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֻֽקַּֽח לָ֗־ךְ ואתי אָלִית֙ וְגַם֙ אָמַ֣רְתְּ בְּאָזְנַ֔י הִנֵּֽה הַ־כֶּ֥סֶף אִתִּ֖י אֲנִ֣י לְקַחְתִּ֑יו וַתֹּ֣אמֶר אִמּ֔וֹ בָּר֥וּךְ בְּנִ֖י לַיהוָֽה׃

καὶ εἶπεν τῇ μητρὶ αὐτοῦ Οἱ χίλιοι καὶ ἑκατὸν οὓς ἔλαβες ἀργυρίου σεαυτῇ, καί με ἠράσω καὶ προσεῖπας ἐν ὠσί μου, ἰδοὺ τὸ ἀργύριον παρ᾽ ἐμοί, ἐγὼ ἔλαβον αὐτό. καὶ εἶπεν μήτηρ αὐτοῦ Εὐλογητὸς υἱός μου τῷ κυρίῳ.

qui dixit matri suæ: Mille et centum argénteos, quos separáveras tibi, et super quibus me audiénte iuráveras, ecce ego hábeo, et apud me sunt. Cui illa respóndit: Benedíctus fílius meus Dómino.

And he said unto his mother, The eleven hundred [shekels] of silver that were taken from thee, about which thou cursedst, and spakest of also in mine ears, behold, the silver [is] with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed [be thou] of the LORD, my son.

וַיָּ֛שֶׁב אֶת־אֶֽלֶף וּ־מֵאָ֥ה הַכֶּ֖סֶף לְאִמּ֑וֹ וַתֹּ֣אמֶר אִמּ֡וֹ הַקְדֵּ֣שׁ הִקְדַּ֣שְׁתִּי אֶת הַ־כֶּסֶף֩ לַיהוָ֨ה מִיָּדִ֜י לִבְנִ֗י לַֽעֲשׂוֹת֙ פֶּ֣סֶל וּמַסֵּכָ֔ה וְעַתָּ֖ה אֲשִׁיבֶ֥נּוּ לָֽךְ׃

καὶ ἀπέδωκεν τοὺς χιλίους καὶ ἑκατὸν τοῦ ἀργυρίου τῇ μητρὶ αὐτοῦ · καὶ εἶπεν μήτηρ αὐτοῦ Ἁγιάζουσα ἡγίακα τὸ ἀργύριον τῷ κυρίῳ ἐκ χειρός μου τῷ υἱῷ μου τοῦ ποιῆσαι γλυπτὸν καὶ χωνευτόν, καὶ νῦν ἀποδώσω σοι αὐτό.

Réddidit ergo eos matri suæ, quæ díxerat ei: Consecrávi et vovi hoc argéntum Dómino, ut de manu mea suscípiat fílius meus, et fáciat scúlptile atque conflátile: et nunc trado illud tibi.

And when he had restored the eleven hundred [shekels] of silver to his mother, his mother said, I had wholly dedicated the silver unto the LORD from my hand for my son, to make a graven image and a molten image: now therefore I will restore it unto thee.

וַיָּ֥שֶׁב אֶת הַ־כֶּ֖סֶף לְאִמּ֑וֹ וַתִּקַּ֣ח אִמּוֹ֩ מָאתַ֨יִם כֶּ֜סֶף וַתִּתְּנֵ֣הוּ לַצּוֹרֵ֗ף וַֽיַּעֲשֵׂ֨הוּ֙ פֶּ֣סֶל וּמַסֵּכָ֔ה וַיְהִ֖י בְּבֵ֥ית מִיכָֽיְהוּ׃

καὶ ἀπέδωκεν τὸ ἀργύριον τῇ μητρὶ αὐτοῦ · καὶ ἔλαβεν μήτηρ αὐτοῦ διακοσίους ἀργυρίου καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτὸ ἀργυροκόπῳ, καὶ ἐποίησεν αὐτὸ γλυπτὸν καὶ χωνευτόν · καὶ ἐγενήθη ἐν οἴκῳ Μειχαία.

וְהָאִ֣ישׁ מִיכָ֔ה ל֖וֹ בֵּ֣ית אֱלֹהִ֑ים וַיַּ֤עַשׂ אֵפוֹד֙ וּתְרָפִ֔ים וַיְמַלֵּ֗א אֶת־יַ֤ד אַחַד֙ מִבָּנָ֔יו וַיְהִי ל֖־וֹ לְכֹהֵֽן׃

καὶ οἶκος Μειχαία αὐτῷ οἶκος θεοῦ · καὶ ἐποίησεν ἐφὼδ καὶ θαραφείν, καὶ ἐπλήρωσεν τὴν χεῖρα ἀπὸ ἑνὸς υἱῶν αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐγένετο αὐτῷ εἰς ἱερέα.

Qui ædículam quoque in ea deo separávit, et fecit ephod, et théraphim, id est, vestem sacerdotálem, et idóla: implevítque uníus filiórum suórum manum, et factus est ei sacérdos.

וַיֵּ֨לֶךְ הָאִ֜ישׁ מֵהָעִ֗יר מִבֵּ֥ית לֶ֨חֶם֙ יְהוּדָ֔ה לָג֖וּר בַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר יִמְצָ֑א וַיָּבֹ֧א הַר־אֶפְרַ֛יִם עַד־בֵּ֥ית מִיכָ֖ה לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת דַּרְכּֽוֹ׃

καὶ ἐπορεύθη ἀνὴρ ἀπὸ Βηθλέεμ τῆς πόλεως Ἰούδα παροικῆσαι ἐν ἐὰν εὕρῃ τόπῳ, ἦλθεν ἕως ὄρους Ἐφράιμ καὶ ἕως οἴκου Μειχαία, τοῦ ποιῆσαι ὁδὸν αὐτοῦ.

וַיֹּאמֶר ל֥־וֹ מִיכָ֖ה מֵאַ֣יִן תָּב֑וֹא וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֵלָ֜יו לֵוִ֣י אָנֹ֗כִי מִבֵּ֥ית לֶ֨חֶם֙ יְהוּדָ֔ה וְאָנֹכִ֣י הֹלֵ֔ךְ לָג֖וּר בַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר אֶמְצָֽא׃

καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ Μειχαίας Πόθεν ἔρχῃ; καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτόν Λευείτης εἰμὶ ἀπὸ Βαιθλέεμ Ἰούδα, καὶ ἐγὼ πορεύομαι παροικῆσαι ἐν ἐὰν εὕρω τόπῳ.

וַיֹּאמֶר֩ ל֨וֹ מִיכָ֜ה שְׁבָ֣ה עִמָּדִ֗י וֶֽהְיֵה לִ־י֮ לְאָ֣ב וּלְכֹהֵן֒ וְאָנֹכִ֨י אֶֽתֶּן לְ־ךָ֜ עֲשֶׂ֤רֶת כֶּ֨סֶף֙ לַיָּמִ֔ים וְעֵ֥רֶךְ בְּגָדִ֖ים וּמִחְיָתֶ֑ךָ וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ הַלֵּוִֽי׃

καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ Μειχαίας Κάθου μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ, καὶ γίνου μοι εἰς πατέρα καὶ εἰς ἱερέα, καὶ ἐγὼ δώσω σοι δέκα ἀργυρίου εἰς ἡμέραν καὶ στολὴν ἱματίων καὶ τὰ πρὸς ζωήν σου.

Dixítque Michas: Mane apud me, et esto mihi parens ac sacérdos: dabóque tibi per annos síngulos decem argénteos, ac vestem dúplicem, et quæ ad victum sunt necessária.

And Micah said unto him, Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give thee ten [shekels] of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and thy victuals. So the Levite went in.

καὶ ἐπορεύθη Λευείτης καὶ ἤρξατο παροικεῖν παρὰ τῷ ἀνδρί · καὶ ἐγενήθη νεανίας παρ᾽ αὐτῷ ὡς εἷς ἀπὸ υἱῶν αὐτοῦ.
