בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא נִקְרָ֛א בְּסֵ֥פֶר מֹשֶׁ֖ה בְּאָזְנֵ֣י הָעָ֑ם וְנִמְצָא֙ כָּת֣וּב בּ֔וֹ אֲ֠שֶׁר לֹא־יָב֨וֹא עַמֹּנִ֧י וּמֹאָבִ֛י בִּקְהַ֥ל הָאֱלֹהִ֖ים עַד־עוֹלָֽם׃

Ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ἀνεγνώσθη ἐν βιβλίῳ Μωυσῆ ἐν ὠσὶν τοῦ λαοῦ · καὶ εὑρέθη γεγραμμένον ἐν αὐτῷ ὅπως μὴ εἰσέλθωσιν Ἀμμανεῖται καὶ Μωαβεῖται ἐν ἐκκλησίᾳ θεοῦ ἕως αἰῶνος,

כִּ֣י לֹ֧א קִדְּמ֛וּ אֶת־בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בַּלֶּ֣חֶם וּבַמָּ֑יִם וַיִּשְׂכֹּ֨ר עָלָ֤יו אֶת־בִּלְעָם֙ לְקַֽלְל֔וֹ וַיַּהֲפֹ֧ךְ אֱלֹהֵ֛ינוּ הַקְּלָלָ֖ה לִבְרָכָֽה׃

ὅτι οὐ συνήντησαν τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραὴλ ἐν ἄρτῳ καὶ ἐν ὕδατι, καὶ ἐμισθώσαντο ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν τὸν Βαλαὰμ καταράσασθαι, καὶ ἔστρεψεν θεὸς ἡμῶν τὴν κατάραν εἰς εὐλογίαν.

καὶ ἐγένετο ὡς ἤκουσαν τὸν νόμον, καὶ ἐχωρίσθησαν πᾶς ἐπίμικτος ἐν Ἰσραήλ.

Καὶ πρὸ τούτου Ἐλιασεὶβ ἱερεὺς οἰκῶν ἐν γαζοφυλακίῳ οἴκου θεοῦ ἡμῶν ἐγγίων Τωβιά.

וַיַּ֨עַשׂ ל֜וֹ לִשְׁכָּ֣ה גְדוֹלָ֗ה וְשָׁ֣ם הָי֪וּ לְפָנִ֟ים נֹ֠תְנִים אֶת הַ־מִּנְחָ֨ה הַלְּבוֹנָ֜ה וְהַכֵּלִ֗ים וּמַעְשַׂ֤ר הַדָּגָן֙ הַתִּיר֣וֹשׁ וְהַיִּצְהָ֔ר מִצְוַת֙ הַלְוִיִּ֔ם וְהַמְשֹׁרְרִ֖ים וְהַשֹּׁעֲרִ֑ים וּתְרוּמַ֖ת הַכֹּהֲנִֽים׃

καὶ ἐποίησεν ἑαυτῷ γαζοφυλάκιον μέγα, καὶ ἐκεῖ ἦσαν τὸ πρότερον διδόντες τὴν μαναὰμ καὶ τὸν λίβανον καὶ τὰ σκεύη, καὶ τὴν δεκάτην τοῦ σίτου καὶ τοῦ οἴνου καὶ τοῦ ἐλαίου, ἐντολὴν τῶν Λευειτῶν καὶ τῶν ᾀδόντων καὶ τῶν πυλωρῶν, καὶ ἀπαρχαὶ τῶν ἱερέων.

καὶ πονηρόν μοι ἐφάνη σφόδρα, καὶ ἔρριψα πάντα τὰ σκεύη οἴκου Τωβιὰ ἀπὸ τοῦ γαζοφυλακίου ·

καὶ εἶπα, καὶ ἐκαθάρισα τὰ γαζοφυλάκια, καὶ ἐπέστρεψα ἐκεῖ σκεύη οἴκου τοῦ θεοῦ, τὴν μαννὰ καὶ τὸν λίβανον.

וָאֵ֣דְעָ֔ה כִּֽי־מְנָי֥וֹת הַלְוִיִּ֖ם לֹ֣א נִתָּ֑נָה וַיִּבְרְח֧וּ אִישׁ לְשָׂדֵ֛־הוּ הַלְוִיִּ֥ם וְהַמְשֹׁרְרִ֖ים עֹשֵׂ֥י הַמְּלָאכָֽה׃

Καὶ ἔγνων ὅτι μερίδες τῶν Λευειτῶν οὐκ ἐδόθησαν, καὶ ἐφύγοσαν ἀνὴρ εἰς ἀγρὸν αὐτοῦ οἱ Λευεῖται καὶ οἱ ᾄδοντες ποιοῦντες τὸ ἔργον.

וָאָרִ֨יבָה֙ אֶת הַ־סְּגָנִ֔ים וָאֹ֣מְרָ֔ה מַדּ֖וּעַ נֶעֱזַ֣ב בֵּית הָ־אֱלֹהִ֑ים וָֽאֶ֨קְבְּצֵ֔ם וָֽאַעֲמִדֵ֖ם עַל עָמְדָֽ־ם׃

καὶ ἐμαχεσάμην καὶ εἶπα Διὰ τί ἐγκατελείφθη οἶκος τοῦ θεοῦ; καὶ συνήγαγον αὐτούς, καὶ ἔστησαν αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ τῇ στάσει αὐτῶν.

זָכְרָה לִּ֥־י אֱלֹהַ֖י עַל־זֹ֑את וְאַל־תֶּ֣מַח חֲסָדַ֗י אֲשֶׁ֥ר עָשִׂ֛יתִי בְּבֵ֥ית אֱלֹהַ֖י וּבְמִשְׁמָרָֽיו׃

Ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις ἐκείναις εἶδον ἐν Ἰούδᾳ πατοῦντας ληνοὺς ἐν τῷ σαββάτῳ · καὶ φέροντες δράγματα καὶ ἐπιγεμίζοντες ἐπὶ τοὺς ὄνους καὶ οἶνον καὶ σταφυλὴν καὶ σῦκα καὶ πᾶν βάσταγμα, καὶ φέροντες εἰς Ἰερουσαλὴμ ἐν ἡμέρᾳ τοῦ σαββάτου · ἐπεμαρτυράμην ἐν ἡμέρᾳ πράσεως αὐτῶν.

וָאָרִ֕יבָה אֵ֖ת חֹרֵ֣י יְהוּדָ֑ה וָאֹמְרָ֣ה לָהֶ֗ם מָֽה הַ־דָּבָ֨ר הָרָ֤ע הַזֶּה֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אַתֶּ֣ם עֹשִׂ֔ים וּֽמְחַלְּלִ֖ים אֶת־י֥וֹם הַשַּׁבָּֽת׃

καὶ ἐμαχεσάμην τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰούδα τοῖς ἐλευθέροις καὶ εἶπα αὐτοῖς Τίς λόγος πονηρὸς οὗτος ὃν ὑμεῖς ποιεῖτε, καὶ βεβηλοῦτε τὴν ἡμέραν τοῦ σαββάτου;

οὐχὶ οὕτως ἐποίησαν οἱ πατέρες ὑμῶν, καὶ ἤνεγκεν ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς θεὸς ἡμῶν καὶ ἐφ᾽ ἡμᾶς πάντα τὰ κακὰ ταῦτα καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν πόλιν ταύτην; καὶ ὑμεῖς προστίθετε ὀργὴν ἐπὶ Ἰσραήλ, βεβηλῶσαι τὸ σάββατον;

Numquid non hæc fecérunt patres nostri, et addúxit Deus noster super nos omne malum hoc, et super civitátem hanc? et vos ádditis iracúndiam super Israel violándo sábbatum.

וַיְהִ֡י כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר צָֽלֲלוּ֩ שַׁעֲרֵ֨י יְרוּשָׁלִַ֜ם לִפְנֵ֣י הַשַּׁבָּ֗ת וָאֹֽמְרָה֙ וַיִּסָּגְר֣וּ הַדְּלָת֔וֹת וָאֹ֣מְרָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר֙ לֹ֣א יִפְתָּח֔וּם עַ֖ד אַחַ֣ר הַשַּׁבָּ֑ת וּמִנְּעָרַ֗י הֶֽעֱמַ֨דְתִּי֙ עַל הַ־שְּׁעָרִ֔ים לֹא־יָב֥וֹא מַשָּׂ֖א בְּי֥וֹם הַשַּׁבָּֽת׃

καὶ ἐγένετο ἡνίκα κατέστησαν πύλαι Ἰερουσαλὴμ πρὸ τοῦ σαββάτου, καὶ ἔκλεισα τὰς πύλας, εἶπα ὥστε μὴ ἀνοιγῆναι αὐτὰς ὀπίσω τοῦ σαββάτου · καὶ ἔστησα ἐπὶ τὰς πύλας, ὥστε μὴ αἴρειν βαστάγματα ἐν ἡμέρᾳ τοῦ σαββάτου.
