וַיַּקְהֵ֣ל דָּוִ֣יד אֶת־כָּל־שָׂרֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֡ל שָׂרֵ֣י הַשְּׁבָטִ֣ים וְשָׂרֵ֣י הַמַּחְלְק֣וֹת הַמְשָׁרְתִ֪ים אֶת הַ־מֶּ֟לֶךְ וְשָׂרֵ֣י הָאֲלָפִ֣ים וְשָׂרֵ֣י הַמֵּא֡וֹת וְשָׂרֵ֣י כָל־רְכוּשׁ וּ־מִקְנֶה֩ ׀ לַמֶּ֨לֶךְ וּלְבָנָ֜יו עִם הַ־סָּרִיסִ֧ים וְהַגִּבּוֹרִ֛ים וּֽלְכָל־גִּבּ֥וֹר חָ֖יִל אֶל־יְרוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

Καὶ ἐξεκκλησίασεν Δαυεὶδ πάντας τοὺς ἄρχοντας Ἰσραὴλ ἄρχοντας τῶν κριτῶν, καὶ τοὺς ἄρχοντας τῶν ἐφημεριῶν τῶν περὶ τὸ σῶμα τοῦ βασιλέως, καὶ ἄρχοντας τῶν χιλιάδων καὶ τῶν ἑκατοντάδων, καὶ τοὺς γαζοφύλακας, καὶ τοὺς ἐπὶ τῶν ὑπαρχόντων αὐτοῦ, καὶ τοὺς δυνάστας, καὶ τοὺς μαχητὰς ἐν Ἰερουσαλήμ.

Convocávit ígitur David omnes príncipes Israel, duces tríbuum, et præpósitos turmárum, qui ministrábant regi: tribúnos quoque et centuriónes, et qui prǽerant substántiæ et possessiónibus regis, filiósque suos cum eunúchis, et poténtes et robustíssimos quosque in exércitu Ierúsalem.

וַיָּ֨קָם דָּוִ֤יד הַמֶּ֨לֶךְ֙ עַל רַגְלָ֔י־ו וַיֹּ֕אמֶר שְׁמָע֖וּנִי אַחַ֣י וְעַמִּ֑י אֲנִ֣י עִם לְבָבִ֡־י לִבְנוֹת֩ בֵּ֨ית מְנוּחָ֜ה לַאֲר֣וֹן בְּרִית־יְהוָ֗ה וְלַהֲדֹם֙ רַגְלֵ֣י אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ וַהֲכִינ֖וֹתִי לִבְנֽוֹת׃

καὶ ἔστη Δαυεὶδ ἐν μέσῳ τῆς ἐκκλησίας καὶ εἶπεν Ἀκούσατέ μου, ἀδελφοὶ καὶ λαός μου. ἐμοὶ ἐγένετο ἐπὶ καρδίαν οἰκοδομῆσαι οἶκον ἀναπαύσεως τῆς κιβωτοῦ διαθήκης Κυρίου καὶ στάσιν ποδῶν κυρίου ἡμῶν, καὶ ἡτοίμασα τὰ εἰς τὴν κατασκήνωσιν ἐπιτήδεια ·

Cumque surrexísset rex, et stetísset, ait: Audíte me fratres mei, et pópulus meus: cogitávi ut ædificárem domum, in qua requiésceret arca fœ́deris Dómini, et scabéllum pedum Dei nostri: et ad ædificándum, ómnia præparávi.

וְהָאֱלֹהִים֙ אָ֣מַר לִ֔י לֹא־תִבְנֶ֥ה בַ֖יִת לִשְׁמִ֑י כִּ֣י אִ֧ישׁ מִלְחָמ֛וֹת אַ֖תָּה וְדָמִ֥ים שָׁפָֽכְתָּ׃

καὶ θεὸς εἶπεν Οὐκ οἰκοδομήσεις ἐμοὶ οἶκον τοῦ ἐπονομάσαι τὸ ὄνομά μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ, ὅτι ἄνθρωπος πολεμιστὴς εἶ σὺ καὶ αἷμα ἐξέχεας.

καὶ ἐξελέξατο Κύριος θεὸς Ἰσραὴλ ἐν ἐμοὶ ἀπὸ παντὸς οἴκου πατρός μου εἶναι βασιλέα ἐπὶ Ἰσραὴλ εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα · καὶ ἐν Ἰούδᾳ ᾑρέτικεν τὸ βασίλειον, καὶ ἐξ οἴκου Ἰούδα τὸν οἶκον τοῦ πατρός μου · ἐν ἐμοὶ ἠθέλησεν, τοῦ γενέσθαι με βασιλέα ἐπὶ τῷ παντὶ Ἰσραήλ.

וּמִכָּ֨ל בָּנַ֔־י כִּ֚י רַבִּ֣ים בָּנִ֔ים נָ֥תַן לִ֖י יְהוָ֑ה וַיִּבְחַר֙ בִּשְׁלֹמֹ֣ה בְנִ֔י לָשֶׁ֗בֶת עַל־כִּסֵּ֛א מַלְכ֥וּת יְהוָ֖ה עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

καὶ ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν υἱῶν μου, ὅτι πολλοὺς υἱοὺς ἔδωκέν μοι Κύριος, ἐξελέξατο ἐν Σαλωμὼν τῷ υἱῷ μου καθίσαι αὐτὸν ἐπὶ θρόνου βασιλείας Κυρίου ἐπὶ τὸν Ἰσραήλ.

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר לִ֔י שְׁלֹמֹ֣ה בִנְךָ֔ הֽוּא־יִבְנֶ֥ה בֵיתִ֖י וַחֲצֵרוֹתָ֑י כִּי־בָחַ֨רְתִּי ב֥וֹ לִי֙ לְבֵ֔ן וַאֲנִ֖י אֶֽהְיֶה לּ֥־וֹ לְאָֽב׃

καὶ εἶπέν μοι θεός Σαλωμὼν υἱός σου κληρονομήσει τὸν οἶκόν μου καὶ τὴν αὐλήν μου, ὅτι ᾑρέτικα ἐν αὐτῷ εἶναί μου υἱόν, κἀγὼ ἔσομαι αὐτῷ εἰς πατέρα.

καὶ κατορθώσω τὴν βασιλείαν αὐτοῦ ἕως αἰῶνος, ἐὰν ἰσχύσῃ τοῦ φυλάξασθαι τὰς ἐντολάς μου καὶ τὰ κρίματά μου ὡς ἡμέρα αὕτη.

וְ֠עַתָּה לְעֵינֵ֨י כָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֤ל קְהַל־יְהוָה֙ וּבְאָזְנֵ֣י אֱלֹהֵ֔ינוּ שִׁמְר֣וּ וְדִרְשׁ֔וּ כָּל־מִצְוֺ֖ת יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֑ם לְמַ֤עַן תִּֽירְשׁוּ֙ אֶת הָ־אָ֣רֶץ הַטּוֹבָ֔ה וְהִנְחַלְתֶּ֛ם לִבְנֵיכֶ֥ם אַחֲרֵיכֶ֖ם עַד־עוֹלָֽם׃ פ

καὶ νῦν κατὰ πρόσωπον πάσης ἐκκλησίας Κυρίου καὶ ζητήσατε τὰς ἐντολὰς Κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ ἡμῶν, ἵνα κληρονομήσητε τὴν γῆν τὴν ἀγαθὴν τοῖς υἱοῖς ἡμῶν ἕως αἰῶνος.

וְאַתָּ֣ה שְׁלֹמֹֽה בְנִ֡־י דַּע֩ אֶת־אֱלֹהֵ֨י אָבִ֜יךָ וְעָבְדֵ֗הוּ בְּלֵ֤ב שָׁלֵם֙ וּבְנֶ֣פֶשׁ חֲפֵצָ֔ה כִּ֤י כָל־לְבָבוֹת֙ דּוֹרֵ֣שׁ יְהוָ֔ה וְכָל־יֵ֥צֶר מַחֲשָׁב֖וֹת מֵבִ֑ין אִֽם תִּדְרְשֶׁ֨־נּוּ֙ יִמָּ֣צֵא לָ֔ךְ וְאִם תַּֽעַזְבֶ֖־נּוּ יַזְנִיחֲךָ֥ לָעַֽד׃

καὶ νῦν, Σαλωμών, γνῶθι τὸν θεὸν τῶν πατέρων σου καὶ δούλευε ἐν καρδίᾳ τελείᾳ καὶ ψυχῇ θελούσῃ, ὅτι πάσας καρδίας ἐτάζει Κύριος καὶ πᾶν ἐνθύμημα γιγνώσκει · ἐὰν ζητήσῃς αὐτόν, εὑρεθήσεταί σοι · καὶ ἐὰν καταλείψῃς αὐτόν, καταλείψει σε εἰς τέλος.

Tu autem Sálomon fili mi, scito Deum patris tui, et servíto ei corde perfécto, ánimo voluntário: ómnia enim corda scrutátur Dóminus, et univérsas méntium cogitatiónes intélligit. Si quæsíeris eum, invénies: si autem derelíqueris eum, proíciet te in ætérnum.

And thou, Solomon my son, know thou the God of thy father, and serve him with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts: if thou seek him, he will be found of thee; but if thou forsake him, he will cast thee off for ever.

Καὶ ἔδωκεν Δαυεὶδ Σαλωμὼν τῷ υἱῷ αὐτοῦ τὸ παράδειγμα τοῦ ναοῦ καὶ τῶν οἴκων αὐτοῦ καὶ τῶν ζακχὼ αὐτοῦ καὶ τῶν ὑπερῴων καὶ τῶν ἀποθηκῶν τῶν ἐσωτέρων καὶ τοῦ οἴκου τοῦ ἐξιλασμοῦ,

καὶ τῶν καταλυμάτων τῶν ἐφημεριῶν τῶν ἱερέων καὶ τῶν Λευεῖτων εἰς πᾶσαν ἐργασίαν λειτουργίας οἴκου Κυρίου, καὶ τῶν ἀποθηκῶν τῶν λειτουργησίμων σκευῶν.

καὶ τῶν κρεαγρῶν καὶ σπονδείων καὶ τῶν φιαλῶν τῶν χρυσῶν, καὶ σταθμὸν τῶν χρυσῶν καὶ τῶν ἀργυρῶν, ἑκάστου σταθμοῦ.

καὶ τὸν τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου τῶν θυμιαμάτων ἐκ χρυσίου δοκίμου σταθμὸν ὑπέδειξεν αὐτῷ, καὶ τὸ παράδειγμα τοῦ ἅρματος τῶν χερουβεὶν τῶν διαπεπετασμένων ταῖς πτέρυξιν καὶ σκιαζόντων ἐπὶ τῆς κιβωτοῦ διαθήκης Κυρίου.

πάντα ἐν γραφῇ χειρὸς Κυρίου ἔδωκεν Δαυεὶδ Σαλωμὼν κατὰ τὴν περιγενηθεῖσαν αὐτῷ σύνεσιν τῆς κατεργασίας τοῦ παραδείγματος.

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר דָּוִ֜יד לִשְׁלֹמֹ֣ה בְנ֗וֹ חֲזַ֤ק וֶאֱמַץ֙ וַעֲשֵׂ֔ה אַל־תִּירָ֖א וְאַל־תֵּחָ֑ת כִּי֩ יְהוָ֨ה אֱלֹהִ֤ים אֱלֹהַי֙ עִמָּ֔ךְ לֹ֤א יַרְפְּךָ֙ וְלֹ֣א יַֽעַזְבֶ֔ךָּ עַד לִ־כְל֕וֹת כָּל־מְלֶ֖אכֶת עֲבוֹדַ֥ת בֵּית־יְהוָֽה׃

καὶ εἶπεν Δαυεὶδ Σαλωμὼν τῷ υἱῷ αὐτοῦ Ἴσχυε καὶ ἀνδρίζου καὶ ποίει, μὴ φοβοῦ μηδὲ πτοηθῇς · ὅτι Κύριος θεός μου μετὰ σοῦ, οὐκ ἀνήσει σε καὶ οὐ μή σε ἐνκαταλίπῃ ἕως τοῦ συντελέσαι σε πᾶσαν ἐργασίαν λειτουργίας οἴκου Κυρίου. τὸ παράδειγμα τοῦ ναοῦ καὶ τοῦ οἴκου αὐτοῦ καὶ σακχὼ αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ ὑπερῷα καὶ τὰς ἀποθήκας τὰς ἐσωτέρας καὶ τὸν οἶκον τοῦ ἱλασμοῦ, καὶ τὸ παράδειγμα οἴκου Κυρίου.

וְהִנֵּ֗ה מַחְלְקוֹת֙ הַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים וְהַלְוִיִּ֔ם לְכָל־עֲבוֹדַ֖ת בֵּ֣ית הָאֱלֹהִ֑ים וְעִמְּךָ֙ בְכָל־מְלָאכָ֜ה לְכָל־נָדִ֤יב בַּֽחָכְמָה֙ לְכָל־עֲבוֹדָ֔ה וְהַשָּׂרִ֥ים וְכָל הָ־עָ֖ם לְכָל דְּבָרֶֽי־ךָ׃ פ

καὶ ἰδοὺ αἱ ἐφημερίαι τῶν ἱερέων καὶ τῶν Λευείτων εἰς πᾶσαν λειτουργίαν οἴκου Κυρίου, καὶ μετὰ σοῦ ἐν πάσῃ πραγματείᾳ, καὶ πᾶς πρόθυμος ἐν σοφίᾳ κατὰ πᾶσαν τέχνην, καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες καὶ πᾶς λαὸς εἰς πάντας τοὺς λόγους σου.

Ecce divisiónes sacerdótum et Levitárum, in omne ministérium domus Dómini assístunt tibi, et paráti sunt, et novérunt tam príncipes quam pópulus fácere ómnia præcépta tua.
