וַ֠יָּשָׁב יְהוֹשָׁפָ֨ט מֶֽלֶךְ־יְהוּדָ֧ה אֶל בֵּית֛־וֹ בְּשָׁל֖וֹם לִֽירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃

Καὶ ἀπέστρεψεν Ἰωσαφὰτ βασιλεὺς Ἰούδα εἰς τὸν οἶκον αὐτοῦ εἰς Ἰερουσαλήμ.

וַיֵּצֵ֣א אֶל פָּנָ֗י־ו יֵה֣וּא בֶן־חֲנָ֘נִי֮ הַחֹזֶה֒ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר֙ אֶל הַ־מֶּ֣לֶךְ יְהוֹשָׁפָ֔ט הֲלָרָשָׁ֣ע לַעְזֹ֔ר וּלְשֹׂנְאֵ֥י יְהוָ֖ה תֶּאֱהָ֑ב וּבָזֹאת֙ עָלֶ֣יךָ קֶּ֔צֶף מִלִּפְנֵ֖י יְהוָֽה׃

καὶ ἐξῆλθεν εἰς ἀπάντησιν αὐτοῦ Ἰοὺ ὁ τοῦ Ἁνανεὶ ὁ προφήτης καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ Βασιλεὺς Ἰωσαφάτ, εἰ ἁμαρτωλῷ σὺ βοηθεῖς ἢ μισουμένῳ ὑπὸ Κυρίου φιλιάζεις; διὰ τοῦτο ἐγένετο ἐπὶ σὲ ὀργὴ παρὰ Κυρίου ·

אֲבָ֕ל דְּבָרִ֥ים טוֹבִ֖ים נִמְצְא֣וּ עִמָּ֑ךְ כִּֽי־בִעַ֤רְתָּ הָאֲשֵׁרוֹת֙ מִן הָ־אָ֔רֶץ וַהֲכִינ֥וֹתָ לְבָבְךָ֖ לִדְרֹ֥שׁ הָֽאֱלֹהִֽים׃

ἀλλ᾽ ἢ λόγοι ἀγαθοὶ ηὑρέθησαν ἐν σοί, ὅτι ἐξῆρας τὰ ἄλση ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς Ἰούδα, καὶ κατηύθυνας τὴν καρδίαν σου ἐκζητῆσαι τὸν κύριον.

καὶ κατῴκησεν Ἰωσαφάτ, καὶ πάλιν ἐξῆλθεν εἰς τὸν λαὸν ἀπὸ Βεηρσάβεε ἕως ὄρους Ἐφράιμ, ἐπέστρεψεν αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ Κύριον θεὸν τῶν πατέρων αὐτῶν.

καὶ εἶπεν τοῖς κριταῖς Ἴδετε τί ὑμεῖς ποιεῖτε, ὅτι οὐκ ἀνθρώπῳ ὑμεῖς κρίνετε ἀλλ᾽ ἤ τῷ κυρίῳ, καὶ μεθ᾽ ὑμῶν λόγοι τῆς κρίσεως.

καὶ νῦν γενέσθω φόβος Κυρίου ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς · φυλάσσετε καὶ ποιήσετε, ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν μετὰ Κυρίου θεοῦ ἡμῶν ἀδικία οὐδὲ θαυμάσαι πρόσωπον οὐδὲ λαβεῖν δῶρα.

καὶ γὰρ ἐν Ἰεπουσαλὴμ κατέστησεν Ἰωσαφὰτ τῶν ἱερέων καὶ τῶν Λευειτῶν καὶ τῶν πατριαρχῶν Ἰσραὴλ εἰς κρίσιν Κυρίου καὶ κρίνειν τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἐν Ἰερουσαλήμ.

πᾶς ἀνὴρ κρίσιν τὴν ἐλθοῦσαν ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς τῶν ἀδελφῶν ἡμῶν τῶν κατοικούντων ἀνὰ μέσον αἵματος, καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον προστάγματος καὶ ἐντολῆς, καὶ δικαιώματα καὶ κρίματα · καὶ διαστελεῖσθε αὐτοῖς, οὐχ ἁμαρτήσονται τῷ κυρίῳ, καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς ὀργὴ καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ὑμῶν · οὕτως ποιήσετε, οὐχ ἁμαρτήσεσθε.

Omnem causam, quæ vénerit ad vos fratrum vestrórum, qui hábitant in úrbibus suis inter cognatiónem et cognatiónem, ubicúmque quǽstio est de lege, de mandáto, de cæremóniis, de iustificatiónibus: osténdite eis, ut non peccent in Dóminum, et ne véniat ira super vos et super fratres vestros: sic ergo agéntes non peccábitis.

And what cause soever shall come to you of your brethren that dwell in their cities, between blood and blood, between law and commandment, statutes and judgments, ye shall even warn them that they trespass not against the LORD, and [so] wrath come upon you, and upon your brethren: this do, and ye shall not trespass.

וְהִנֵּ֡ה אֲמַרְיָ֣הוּ כֹהֵן֩ הָרֹ֨אשׁ עֲלֵיכֶ֜ם לְכֹ֣ל דְּבַר־יְהוָ֗ה וּזְבַדְיָ֨הוּ בֶן־יִשְׁמָעֵ֜אל הַנָּגִ֤יד לְבֵית־יְהוּדָה֙ לְכֹ֣ל דְּבַר הַ־מֶּ֔לֶךְ וְשֹׁטְרִ֥ים הַלְוִיִּ֖ם לִפְנֵיכֶ֑ם חִזְק֣וּ וַעֲשׂ֔וּ וִיהִ֥י יְהוָ֖ה עִם הַ־טּֽוֹב׃ פ

καὶ ἰδοὺ Ἀμαρίας ὁ ἱερεὺς ἡγούμενος ἐφ᾽ ὑμᾶς εἰς πᾶν λόγον Κυρίου, καὶ Ζαβδείας ὁ ἡγούμενος εἰς οἶκον Ἰούδα πρὸς πᾶν λόγον βασιλέως, καὶ οἱ γραμματεῖς καὶ οἱ Λευεῖται πρὸ προσώπου ὑμῶν · ἰσχύσατε καὶ ποιήσατε, καὶ ἔσται κύριος μετὰ τοῦ ἀγαθοῦ.

Amarías autem sacérdos et póntifex vester, in his, quæ ad Deum pértinent, præsidébit: porro Zabadías fílius Ismahel, qui est dux in domo Iuda, super ea ópera erit, quæ ad regis offícium pértinent: habetísque magístros Levítas coram vobis, confortámini, et ágite diligénter, et erit Dóminus vobíscum in bonis.
