וַיִּסְפֹּ֨ר שְׁלֹמֹ֜ה שִׁבְעִ֥ים אֶ֨לֶף֙ אִ֣ישׁ סַבָּ֔ל וּשְׁמוֹנִ֥ים אֶ֛לֶף אִ֖ישׁ חֹצֵ֣ב בָּהָ֑ר וּמְנַצְּחִ֣ים עֲלֵיהֶ֔ם שְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת אֲלָפִ֖ים וְשֵׁ֥שׁ מֵאֽוֹת׃ פ

Καὶ εἶπεν Σαλωμὼν τοῦ οἰκοδομῆσαι οἶκον τῷ ὀνόματι Κυρίου καὶ οἶκον τῇ βασιλείᾳ αὐτοῦ.

καὶ συνήγαγεν Σαλωμὼν ἑβδομήκοντα χιλιάδας ἀνδρῶν καὶ ὀγδοήκοντα χιλιάδας λατόμων ἐν τῷ ὄρει, καὶ οἱ ἐπιστάται ἐπ᾽ αὐτῶν τρισχίλιοι ἑξακόσιοι.

Καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Σαλωμὼν πρὸς Χειρὰμ βασιλέα Τύρου λέγων Ὡς ἐποίησας μετὰ τοῦ πατρός μου Δαυεὶδ καὶ ἀπέστειλας αὐτῷ κέδρους τοῦ οἰκοδομῆσαι αὑτῷ οἶκον κατοικῆσαι ἐν αὐτῷ,

וְהַבַּ֛יִת אֲשֶׁר־אֲנִ֥י בוֹנֶ֖ה גָּד֑וֹל כִּֽי־גָד֥וֹל אֱלֹהֵ֖ינוּ מִכָּל הָ־אֱלֹהִֽים׃

καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ υἱὸς αὐτοῦ οἰκοδομῶ οἶκον τῷ ὀνόματι Κυρίου θεοῦ μου, ἁγιάσαι αὐτὸν αὐτῷ τοῦ θυμιᾷν ἀπέναντι αὐτοῦ θυμίαμα καὶ πρόθεσιν διὰ παντός, καὶ τοῦ ἀναφέρειν ὁλοκαυτώματα διὰ παντὸς τὸ πρωὶ καὶ τὸ δεὶλης, καὶ ἐν τοῖς σαββάτοις καὶ ἐν ταῖς νουμηνίαις καὶ ἐν ταῖς ἑορταῖς τοῦ κυρίου θεοῦ ἡμῶν, εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα τοῦτο ἐπὶ τὸν Ἰσραήλ.

Quis ergo póterit prævalére, ut ædíficet ei dignam domum? si cælum, et cæli cælórum cápere eum néqueunt: quantus ego sum, ut possim ædificáre ei domum? sed ad hoc tantum, ut adoleátur incénsum coram illo.

וְעַתָּ֡ה שְֽׁלַֽח לִ֣־י אִישׁ־חָכָ֡ם לַעֲשׂוֹת֩ בַּזָּהָ֨ב וּבַכֶּ֜סֶף וּבַנְּחֹ֣שֶׁת וּבַבַּרְזֶ֗ל וּבָֽאַרְגְּוָן֙ וְכַרְמִ֣יל וּתְכֵ֔לֶת וְיֹדֵ֖עַ לְפַתֵּ֣חַ פִּתּוּחִ֑ים עִם הַֽ־חֲכָמִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֤ר עִמִּי֙ בִּֽיהוּדָ֣ה וּבִֽירוּשָׁלִַ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֵכִ֖ין דָּוִ֥יד אָבִֽי׃

καὶ τίς ἰσχύσει οἰκοδομῆσαι αὐτῷ οἶκον; ὅτι οὐρανὸς καὶ οὐρανὸς τοῦ οὐρανοῦ οὐ φέρουσιν αὐτοῦ τὴν δόξαν · καὶ τίς ἐγὼ οἰκοδομῶν αὐτῷ οἶκον; ὅτι ἀλλ᾽ τοῦ θυμιᾷν κατέναντι αὐτοῦ.

וּֽשְׁלַֽח לִ־י֩ עֲצֵ֨י אֲרָזִ֜ים בְּרוֹשִׁ֣ים וְאַלְגּוּמִּים֮ מֵֽהַלְּבָנוֹן֒ כִּ֚י אֲנִ֣י יָדַ֔עְתִּי אֲשֶׁ֤ר עֲבָדֶ֨יךָ֙ יֽוֹדְעִ֔ים לִכְר֖וֹת עֲצֵ֣י לְבָנ֑וֹן וְהִנֵּ֥ה עֲבָדַ֖י עִם עֲבָדֶֽי־ךָ׃

καὶ νῦν ἀπόστειλόν μοι ἄνδρα σοφὸν καὶ εἰδότα τοῦ ποιῆσαι ἐν τῷ χρυσίῳ καὶ ἐν τῷ ἀργυρίῳ, ἐν τῷ χαλκῷ καὶ ἐν τῷ σιδήρῳ καὶ ἐν τῇ πορφύρᾳ καὶ ἐν τῷ κοκκίνῳ, καὶ ἐπιστάμενον γλύψαι γλυφὴν μετὰ τῶν σοφῶν τῶν μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ ἐν Ἰούδᾳ καὶ ἐν Ἰερουσαλήμ, ἡτοίμασεν Δαυεὶδ πατήρ μου.

καὶ ἀπόστειλόν μοι ξύλα κέδρινα καὶ ἀρκεύθινα καὶ πεύκινα ἐκ τοῦ Λιβάνου, ὅτι ἐγὼ οἶδα ὡς οἱ δοῦλοί σου οἴδασιν κόπτειν ξύλα ἐκ τοῦ Λιβάνου · καὶ ἰδοὺ οἱ παῖδές σου μετὰ τῶν παίδων μου

וְהִנֵּ֣ה לַֽחֹטְבִ֣ים ׀ לְֽכֹרְתֵ֣י ׀ הָעֵצִ֡ים נָתַתִּי֩ חִטִּ֨ים ׀ מַכּ֜וֹת לַעֲבָדֶ֗יךָ כֹּרִים֙ עֶשְׂרִ֣ים אֶ֔לֶף וּשְׂעֹרִ֕ים כֹּרִ֖ים עֶשְׂרִ֣ים אָ֑לֶף וְיַ֗יִן בַּתִּים֙ עֶשְׂרִ֣ים אֶ֔לֶף וְשֶׁ֕מֶן בַּתִּ֖ים עֶשְׂרִ֥ים אָֽלֶף׃ פ

καὶ ἰδοὺ τοῖς ἐργαζομένοις τοῖς κόπτουσιν ξύλα εἰς βρώματα δέδωκα σῖτον εἰς δόματα τοῖς παισίν σου, κόρων εἴκοσι χιλιάδας, καὶ κριθῶν κόρων εἴκοσι χιλιάδας, καὶ οἴνου μέτρων εἴκοσι χιλιάδας.

וְ֠עַתָּה הַחִטִּ֨ים וְהַשְּׂעֹרִ֜ים הַשֶּׁ֤מֶן וְהַיַּ֨יִן֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אָמַ֣ר אֲדֹנִ֔י יִשְׁלַ֖ח לַעֲבָדָֽיו׃

μήτηρ αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ θυγατέρων Δάν, καὶ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ ἀνὴρ Τύριος, εἰδότα ποιῆσαι ἐν χρυσίῳ καὶ ἐν ἀργυρίῳ καὶ ἐν χαλκῷ καὶ ἐν σιδήρῳ, ἐν λίθοις καὶ ξύλοις, καὶ ὑφαίνειν ἐν τῇ πορφύρᾳ καὶ ἐν τῇ ὑακίνθῳ καὶ ἐν τῇ βύσσῳ καὶ ἐν τῷ κοκκίνῳ, καὶ γλύψαι γλυφάς, καὶ διανοεῖσθαι πᾶσαν διανόησιν, ὅσα ἂν δῷς αὐτῷ μετὰ τῶν σοφῶν σου καὶ σοφῶν Δαυεὶδ κυρίου μου πατρός σου.

καὶ νῦν τὸν σῖτον καὶ τὴν κριθὴν καὶ τὸ ἔλαιον καὶ τὸν οἶνον, εἶπεν κύριός μου, ἀποστειλάτω τοῖς παισὶν αὐτοῦ.

וַיִּסְפֹּ֣ר שְׁלֹמֹ֗ה כָּל הָ־אֲנָשִׁ֤ים הַגֵּירִים֙ אֲשֶׁר֙ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אַחֲרֵ֣י הַסְּפָ֔ר אֲשֶׁ֥ר סְפָרָ֖ם דָּוִ֣יד אָבִ֑יו וַיִּמָּצְא֗וּ מֵאָ֤ה וַחֲמִשִּׁים֙ אֶ֔לֶף וּשְׁלֹ֥שֶׁת אֲלָפִ֖ים וְשֵׁ֥שׁ מֵאֽוֹת׃

καὶ ἡμεῖς κόψομεν ξύλα ἐκ τοῦ Λιβάνου κατὰ πᾶσαν τὴν χρείαν σου, καὶ ἄξομεν αὐτὰ σχεδίαις ἐπὶ θάλασσαν Ἰόππης, καὶ σὺ ἄξεις αὐτὰ εἰς Ἰερουσαλήμ.
