וַיְהִי֩ בִשְׁנַ֨ת הַתְּשִׁיעִ֜ית לְמָלְכ֗וֹ בַּחֹ֣דֶשׁ הָעֲשִׂירִי֮ בֶּעָשׂ֣וֹר לַחֹדֶשׁ֒ בָּ֠א נְבֻכַדְנֶאצַּ֨ר מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֜ל ה֧וּא וְכָל חֵיל֛־וֹ עַל־יְרוּשָׁלִַ֖ם וַיִּ֣חַן עָלֶ֑יהָ וַיִּבְנ֥וּ עָלֶ֖יהָ דָּיֵ֥ק סָבִֽיב׃

καὶ ἐγενήθη ἐν τῷ ἔτει τῷ ἐνάτῳ τῆς βασιλείας αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ μηνὶ τῷ δεκάτῳ ἦλθεν Ναβουχοδονοσὸρ βασιλεὺς Βαβυλῶνος καὶ πᾶσα δύναμις αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ Ἰερουσαλήμ, καὶ παρενέβαλεν ἐπ᾽ αὐτήν, καὶ ᾠκοδόμησεν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὴν περίτειχος κύκλῳ.

Factum est autem anno nono regni eius, mense décimo, décima die mensis, venit Nabuchodónosor rex Babylónis, ipse et omnis exércitus eius, in Ierúsalem, et circumdedérunt eam: et exstruxérunt in circúitu eius munitiónes.

καὶ ἦλθεν πόλις ἐν περιοχῇ ἕως τοῦ ἑνδεκάτου ἔτους τοῦ βασιλέως Σεδεκίου, ἐνάτῃ τοῦ μηνός ·

καὶ ἐνίσχυσεν λιμὸς ἐν τῇ πόλει, καὶ οὐκ ἦσαν ἄρτοι τῷ λαῷ τῆς γῆς.

וַתִּבָּקַ֣ע הָעִ֗יר וְכָל־אַנְשֵׁ֨י הַמִּלְחָמָ֤ה ׀ הַלַּ֨יְלָה֙ דֶּ֜רֶךְ שַׁ֣עַר ׀ בֵּ֣ין הַחֹמֹתַ֗יִם אֲשֶׁר֙ עַל־גַּ֣ן הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וְכַשְׂדִּ֥ים עַל הָ־עִ֖יר סָבִ֑יב וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ דֶּ֥רֶךְ הָעֲרָבָֽה׃

καὶ ἐρράγη πόλις, καὶ πάντες οἱ ἄνδρες τοῦ πολέμου ἐξῆλθον νυκτὸς ὁδὸν πύλης τῆς ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν τειχέων, αὕτη ἐστιν τοῦ κήπου τοῦ βασιλέως, καὶ οἱ Χαλδαῖοι ἐπὶ τὴν πόλιν κύκλῳ. καὶ ἐπορεύθη ὁδὸν τὴν Ἀραβά.

Et interrúpta est cívitas: et omnes viri bellatóres nocte fugérunt per viam portæ, quæ est inter dúplicem murum ad hortum regis. Porro Chaldǽi obsidébant in circúitu civitátem. Fugit ítaque Sedecías per viam, quæ ducit ad campéstria solitúdinis.

וַיִּרְדְּפ֤וּ חֵיל־כַּשְׂדִּים֙ אַחַ֣ר הַמֶּ֔לֶךְ וַיַּשִּׂ֥גוּ אֹת֖וֹ בְּעַרְב֣וֹת יְרֵח֑וֹ וְכָל חֵיל֔־וֹ נָפֹ֖צוּ מֵעָלָֽיו׃

καὶ ἐδίωξεν δύναμις τῶν Χαλδαίων ὀπίσω τοῦ βασιλέως, καὶ κατέλαβον αὐτὸν ἐν ἀραβὼθ Ἰερειχώ, καὶ πᾶσα δύναμις αὐτοῦ διεσπάρη ἐπάνωθεν αὐτοῦ.

Et persecútus est exércitus Chaldæórum regem, comprehendítque eum in planítie Iéricho: et omnes bellatóres, qui erant cum eo, dispérsi sunt, et reliquérunt eum.

καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς Σεδεκίου ἔσφαξεν κατ᾽ ὀφθαλμοὺς αὐτοῦ, καὶ τοὺς ὀφθαλμοὺς Σεδεκίου ἐξετύφλωσεν · καὶ ἔδησεν αὐτὸν ἐν πέδαις καὶ ἤγαγεν εἰς Βαβυλῶνα.

καὶ τὸ περισσὸν τοῦ λαοῦ τὸ καταλειφθὲν ἐν τῇ πόλει καὶ τοὺς ἐνπεπτωκότας οἳ ἐνέπεσον πρὸς βασιλέα Βαβυλῶνος καὶ τὸ λοιπὸν τοῦ στηρίγματος μετῆρεν Ναβουζαρδὰν ἀρχιμάγειρος.

καὶ τοὺς στύλους τοὺς χαλκοῦς τοὺς ἐν οἴκῳ Κυρίου καὶ τοὺς μεχωνὼθ καὶ τὴν θάλασσαν τὴν χαλκῆν τὴν ἐν οἴκῳ Κυρίου συνέτριψαν οἱ Χαλδαῖοι, καὶ ἦραν τὸν χαλκὸν αὐτῶν εἰς Βαβυλῶνα.

הָעַמּוּדִ֣ים ׀ שְׁנַ֗יִם הַיָּ֤ם הָֽאֶחָד֙ וְהַמְּכֹנ֔וֹת אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂ֥ה שְׁלֹמֹ֖ה לְבֵ֣ית יְהוָ֑ה לֹא־הָיָ֣ה מִשְׁקָ֔ל לִנְחֹ֖שֶׁת כָּל הַ־כֵּלִ֥ים הָאֵֽלֶּה׃

שְׁמֹנֶה֩ עֶשְׂרֵ֨ה אַמָּ֜ה קוֹמַ֣ת ׀ הָעַמּ֣וּד הָאֶחָ֗ד וְכֹתֶ֨רֶת עָלָ֥יו ׀ נְחֹשֶׁת֮ וְקוֹמַ֣ת הַכֹּתֶרֶת֮ שָׁלֹ֣שׁ אמה וּשְׂבָכָ֨ה וְרִמֹּנִ֧ים עַֽל הַ־כֹּתֶ֛רֶת סָבִ֖יב הַכֹּ֣ל נְחֹ֑שֶׁת וְכָאֵ֛לֶּה לַֽעַמּ֥וּד הַשֵּׁנִ֖י עַל הַ־שְּׂבָכָֽה׃

ὀκτὼ καὶ δέκα πήχεων ὕψος τοῦ στύλου τοῦ ἑνός, καὶ τὸ χωθὰρ ἐπ᾽ αὐτοῦ τὸ χαλκοῦν, καὶ τὸ ὕψος τοῦ χωθὰρ τριῶν πήχεων σακαχαρθαὶ ἐπὶ τοῦ χωθὰρ κύκλῳ, τὰ πάντα χαλκᾶ · καὶ κατὰ τὰ αὐτὰ τῷ στύλῳ τῷ δευτέρῳ ἐπὶ τῷ γαβαχά.

καὶ ἔλαβεν ἀρχιμάγειρος τὸν Σαραίαν ἱερέα τὸν πρῶτον καὶ τὸν Σοφονίαν υἱὸν τῆς δευτερώσεως καὶ τοὺς τρεῖς τοὺς φυλάσσοντας τὸν σταθμόν ·

καὶ ἐκ τῆς πόλεως ἔλαβεν εὐνοῦχον ἕνα ὅς ἦν ἐπιστάτης τῶν ἀνδρῶν τῶν πολεμιστῶν, καὶ πέντε ἄνδρας τῶν ὁρώντων τὸ πρόσωπον τοῦ βασιλέως τοὺς εὑρεθέντας ἐν τῇ πόλει, καὶ τὸν γραμματέα τοῦ ἄρχοντος τῆς δυνάμεως τὸν ἐκτάσσοντα τὸν λαὸν τῆς γῆς, καὶ ἑξήκοντα ἄνδρας τοῦ λαοῦ τῆς γῆς τοὺς εὑρεθέντας ἐν τῇ πόλει ·

καὶ ἔπαισεν αὐτοὺς βασιλεὺς Βαβυλῶνος καὶ ἐθανάτωσεν αὐτοὺς ἐν Ῥεβλάθα ἐν γῇ Αἱμάθ · καὶ ἀπῳκίσθη Ἰούδας ἐπάνωθεν τῆς γῆς αὐτοῦ.
