וַיְצַ֤ו מֹשֶׁה֙ וְזִקְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אֶת הָ־עָ֖ם לֵאמֹ֑ר שָׁמֹר֙ אֶת־כָּל הַ־מִּצְוָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֧ר אָנֹכִ֛י מְצַוֶּ֥ה אֶתְכֶ֖ם הַיּֽוֹם׃

Καὶ προσέταξεν Μωυσῆς καὶ ἡ γερουσία Ἰσραηλειτῶν Φυλάσσεσθε πάσας τὰς ἐντολάς ταύτας ὅσας ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαι ὑμῖν σήμερον.

Præcépit autem Móyses et senióres Israel, pópulo dicéntes: Custodíte omne mandátum quod præcípio vobis hódie.

ויצו משׁה וזקני ישׂראל את העם לאמר שׁמרו את־כל המצוה אשׁר אנכי מצוה אתכם היום
1
And Moses with the elders of Israel commanded the people, saying, Keep all the commandments which I command you this day.

וְהָיָ֗ה בַּיּוֹם֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תַּעַבְר֣וּ אֶת הַ־יַּרְדֵּן֒ אֶל הָ־אָ֕רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ נֹתֵ֣ן לָ֑ךְ וַהֲקֵמֹתָ֤ לְךָ֙ אֲבָנִ֣ים גְּדֹל֔וֹת וְשַׂדְתָּ֥ אֹתָ֖ם בַּשִּֽׂיד׃

καὶ ἔσται ᾗ ἂν ἡμέρᾳ διαβῆτε τὸν Ἰορδάνην εἰς τὴν γῆν ἣν Κύριος ὁ θεός σου δίδωσίν σοι, καὶ στήσεις σεαυτῷ λίθους μεγάλους καὶ κονιάσεις αὐτοὺς κονίᾳ ·

Cumque transiéritis Iordánem in terram, quam Dóminus Deus tuus dabit tibi, ériges ingéntes lápides, et calce lævigábis eos,

והיה ביום אשׁר תעברו את הירדן אל הארץ אשׁר־יהוה אלהיך נתן לך והקמת לך אבנים גדלות ושׂדת אתם בשׂיד
2
And it shall be on the day when ye shall pass over Jordan unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, that thou shalt set thee up great stones, and plaister them with plaister:

וְכָתַבְתָּ֣ עֲלֵיהֶ֗ן אֶֽת־כָּל־דִּבְרֵ֛י הַתּוֹרָ֥ה הַזֹּ֖את בְּעָבְרֶ֑ךָ לְמַ֡עַן אֲשֶׁר֩ תָּבֹ֨א אֶל הָ־אָ֜רֶץ אֲֽשֶׁר־יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֣יךָ ׀ נֹתֵ֣ן לְךָ֗ אֶ֣רֶץ זָבַ֤ת חָלָב֙ וּדְבַ֔שׁ כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבֶּ֛ר יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵֽי אֲבֹתֶ֖י־ךָ לָֽךְ׃

καὶ γράψεις ἐπὶ τῶν λίθων τούτων πάντας τούς λόγους τοῦ νόμου τούτου, ὡς ἂν διαβῆτε τὸν Ἰορδάνην, ἡνίκα ἐὰν εἰσέλθητε εἰς τὴν γῆν ἣν Κύριος ὁ θεὸς τῶν πατέρων σου δίδωσίν σοι, γῆν ῥέουσαν γάλα καὶ μέλι, ὃν τρόπον εἶπεν Κύριος ὁ θεὸς τῶν πατέρων σού σοι.

ut possis in eis scríbere ómnia verba legis huius, Iordáne transmísso: ut intróeas terram, quam Dóminus Deus tuus dabit tibi, terram lacte et melle manántem, sicut iurávit pátribus tuis.

וכתבת עליהן את־כל־דברי התורה הזאת בעברך למען אשׁר תבוא אל הארץ אשׁר־יהוה אלהיך נתן לך ארץ זבת חלב ודבשׁ כאשׁר דבר יהוה אלהי אבתיך לך
3
And thou shalt write upon them all the words of this law, when thou art passed over, that thou mayest go in unto the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee, a land that floweth with milk and honey; as the LORD God of thy fathers hath promised thee.

וכתבת עלי׳הן את־כל־דברי התורה הזאת בעבר׳ך למען אשר ]ת#ב##ו#?א##[ אל] [הארץ אשר־יהוה אלהי׳ך נתן ל׳ך ארץ זבת] ח##לב ודב#[ש כאשר דבר יהוה אלהי אבתי׳ך ל׳ך ׃

וְהָיָה֮ בְּעָבְרְכֶ֣ם אֶת הַ־יַּרְדֵּן֒ תָּקִ֜ימוּ אֶת הָ־אֲבָנִ֣ים הָאֵ֗לֶּה אֲשֶׁ֨ר אָנֹכִ֜י מְצַוֶּ֥ה אֶתְכֶ֛ם הַיּ֖וֹם בְּהַ֣ר עֵיבָ֑ל וְשַׂדְתָּ֥ אוֹתָ֖ם בַּשִּֽׂיד׃
4
καὶ ἔσται ὡς ἂν διαβῆτε τὸν Ἰορδάνην, στήσετε τοὺς λίθους τούτους οὓς ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαί σοι σήμερον ἐν ὄρει Γαιβάλ, καὶ κονιάσεις αὐτοὺς κονίᾳ.

Quando ergo transiéritis Iordánem, erígite lápides, quos ego hódie præcípio vobis in monte Hebal, et lævigábis eos calce:

והיה בעברכם את הירדן תקימו את האבנים האלה אשׁר אנכי מצוה אתכם היום בהרגריזים ושׂדת אתם בשׂיד
4
Therefore it shall be when ye be gone over Jordan, [that] ye shall set up these stones, which I command you this day, in mount Ebal, and thou shalt plaister them with plaister.

והי]ה## בעבר׳כם את#[ הירדן] [תקימו את האבנים האלה אשר אנכ]י? מצוה (^ את׳[כם] ^) ה[יום בהר עיבל ושדת או]ת##׳ם בשיד ׃

וּבָנִ֤יתָ שָּׁם֙ מִזְבֵּ֔חַ לַיהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ מִזְבַּ֣ח אֲבָנִ֔ים לֹא־תָנִ֥יף עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם בַּרְזֶֽל׃
5
καὶ οἰκοδομήσεις ἐκεῖ θυσιαστήριον Κυρίῳ τῷ θεῷ σου, θυσιαστήριον ἐκ λίθων, οὐκ ἐπιβαλεῖς ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ σίδηρον ·
5
et ædificábis ibi altáre Dómino Deo tuo de lapídibus, quos ferrum non tétigit,

ובנית שׁם מזבח ליהוה אלהיך מזבח אבנים לא־תניף עליהם ברזל
5
And there shalt thou build an altar unto the LORD thy God, an altar of stones: thou shalt not lift up [any] iron [tool] upon them.

אֲבָנִ֤ים שְׁלֵמוֹת֙ תִּבְנֶ֔ה אֶת־מִזְבַּ֖ח יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ וְהַעֲלִ֤יתָ עָלָיו֙ עוֹלֹ֔ת לַיהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃

λίθους ὁλοκλήρους οἰκοδομήσεις θυσιαστήριον Κυρίῳ τῷ θεῷ σου, καὶ ἀνοίσεις ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα Κυρίῳ τῷ θεῷ σου ·

et de saxis infórmibus et impolítis: et ófferes super eo holocáusta Dómino Deo tuo,

אבנים שׁלמות תבנה את־מזבח יהוה אלהיך והעלית עליו עלות ליהוה אלהיך
6
Thou shalt build the altar of the LORD thy God of whole stones: and thou shalt offer burnt offerings thereon unto the LORD thy God:

אבנים#[ שלמות תבנה את־מזב]ח יהוה אלהי׳ך והעלית עלי?׳[ו עולת ליהוה] [אלהי׳ך ׃

וְזָבַחְתָּ֥ שְׁלָמִ֖ים וְאָכַ֣לְתָּ שָּׁ֑ם וְשָׂ֣מַחְתָּ֔ לִפְנֵ֖י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃
7
καὶ θύσεις ἐκεῖ θυσίαν σωτηρίου, καὶ φάγῃ καὶ ἐμπλησθήσῃ καὶ εὐφρανθήσῃ ἐναντίον Κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου ·

et immolábis hóstias pacíficas, comedésque ibi, et epuláberis coram Dómino Deo tuo.

וזבחת שׁלמים ואכלת שׁם ושׂמחת לפני יהוה אלהיך
7
And thou shalt offer peace offerings, and shalt eat there, and rejoice before the LORD thy God.

καὶ γράψεις ἐπὶ τῶν λίθων πάντα τὸν νόμον τοῦτον σαφῶς σφόδρα.

Et scribes super lápides ómnia verba legis huius plane et lúcide.

וכתבת על האבנים את־כל־דברי התורה הזאת באר הייטב

And thou shalt write upon the stones all the words of this law very plainly.

וַיְדַבֵּ֤ר מֹשֶׁה֙ וְהַכֹּהֲנִ֣ים הַלְוִיִּ֔ם אֶ֥ל כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר הַסְכֵּ֤ת ׀ וּשְׁמַע֙ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל הַיּ֤וֹם הַזֶּה֙ נִהְיֵ֣יתָֽ לְעָ֔ם לַיהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃

Καὶ ἐλάλησεν Μωυσῆς καὶ οἱ ἱερεῖς οἱ Λευεῖται παντὶ Ἰσραὴλ λέγοντες Σιώπα καὶ ἄκουε, Ἰσραήλ · ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ταύτῃ γέγονας εἰς λαὸν Κυρίῳ τῷ θεῷ σου.

Dixerúntque Móyses et sacerdótes Levítici géneris ad omnem Israélem: Atténde, et audi Israel: hódie factus es pópulus Dómini Dei tui:

וידבר משׁה והכהנים הלוים אל כל־ישׂראל לאמר הסכת ושׁמע ישׂראל היום הזה נהית לעם קדשׁ ליהוה אלהיך
9
And Moses and the priests the Levites spake unto all Israel, saying, Take heed, and hearken, O Israel; this day thou art become the people of the LORD thy God.

וְשָׁ֣מַעְתָּ֔ בְּק֖וֹל יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ וְעָשִׂ֤יתָ אֶת מִצְוֺתָ־ו֙ וְאֶת חֻקָּ֔י־ו אֲשֶׁ֛ר אָנֹכִ֥י מְצַוְּךָ֖ הַיּֽוֹם׃ ס
10
καὶ εἰσακούσῃ τῆς φωνῆς Κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου, καὶ ποιήσεις πάσας τὰς ἐντολὰς αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ δικαιώματα αὐτοῦ ὅσα ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαί σοι σήμερον.

áudies vocem eius, et fácies mandáta atque iustítias, quas ego præcípio tibi.

ושׁמעת בקול יהוה אלהיך ועשׂית את מצותיו ואת חקתיו אשׁר אנכי מצוך היום
10
Thou shalt therefore obey the voice of the LORD thy God, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command thee this day.

Καὶ ἐνετείλατο Μωυσῆς τῷ λαῷ ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ λέγων

Præcepítque Móyses pópulo in die illo, dicens:

ויצו משׁה את העם ביום ההוא לאמר

And Moses charged the people the same day, saying,

אֵ֠לֶּה יַֽעַמְד֞וּ לְבָרֵ֤ךְ אֶת הָ־עָם֙ עַל־הַ֣ר גְּרִזִ֔ים בְּעָבְרְכֶ֖ם אֶת הַ־יַּרְדֵּ֑ן שִׁמְעוֹן֙ וְלֵוִ֣י וִֽיהוּדָ֔ה וְיִשָּׂשכָ֖ר וְיוֹסֵ֥ף וּבִנְיָמִֽן׃
12
Οὗτοι στήσονται εὐλογεῖν τὸν λαὸν ἐν ὄρει Γαριζείν, διαβάντες τὸν Ἰορδάνην · Συμεών, Λευεί, Ἰουδά, Ἰσσαχάρ, Ἰωσὴφ καὶ Βενιαμείν.

Hi stabunt ad benedicéndum pópulo super montem Garízim, Iordáne transmísso: Símeon, Levi, Iudas, Issachar, Ioseph, et Béniamin.

אלה יעמדו לברך את העם על הרגריזים בעברכם את הירדן שׁמעון ולוי יהודה וישׂשׂכר יוסף ובנימים
12
These shall stand upon mount Gerizim to bless the people, when ye are come over Jordan; Simeon, and Levi, and Judah, and Issachar, and Joseph, and Benjamin:

וְאֵ֛לֶּה יַֽעַמְד֥וּ עַל הַ־קְּלָלָ֖ה בְּהַ֣ר עֵיבָ֑ל רְאוּבֵן֙ גָּ֣ד וְאָשֵׁ֔ר וּזְבוּלֻ֖ן דָּ֥ן וְנַפְתָּלִֽי׃
13
καὶ οὗτοι στήσονται ἐπὶ τῆς κατάρας ἐν ὄρει Γαιβάλ · Ῥουβήν, Γὰδ καὶ Ἀσήρ, Ζαβουλών, Δὰν καὶ Νεφθαλεί.

Et e regióne isti stabunt ad maledicéndum in monte Hebal: Ruben, Gad, et Aser, et Zábulon, Dan, et Néphthali.

ואלה יעמדו על הקללה בהר עיבל ראובן גד ואשׁר זבולן דן ונפתלי
13
And these shall stand upon mount Ebal to curse; Reuben, Gad, and Asher, and Zebulun, Dan, and Naphtali.

Καὶ ἀποκριθέντες οἱ Λευεῖται ἐροῦσιν παντὶ Ἰσραὴλ φωνῇ μεγάλῃ

Et pronuntiábunt Levítæ, dicéntque ad omnes viros Israel excélsa voce:

וענו הלוים ואמרו אל־כל־אישׁ ישׂראל קול רם

And the Levites shall speak, and say unto all the men of Israel with a loud voice,

אָר֣וּר הָאִ֡ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יַעֲשֶׂה֩ פֶ֨סֶל וּמַסֵּכָ֜ה תּוֹעֲבַ֣ת יְהוָ֗ה מַעֲשֵׂ֛ה יְדֵ֥י חָרָ֖שׁ וְשָׂ֣ם בַּסָּ֑תֶר וְעָנ֧וּ כָל הָ־עָ֛ם וְאָמְר֖וּ אָמֵֽן׃ ס

Ἐπικατάρατος ἄνθρωπος ὅστις ποιήσει γλυπτὸν καὶ χωνευτόν, βδέλυγμα Κυρίῳ, ἔργον χειρῶν τεχνιτῶν, καὶ θήσει αὐτὸ ἐν ἀποκρύφῳ. καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ λαὸς ἐροῦσιν Γένοιτο.

Maledíctus homo, qui facit scúlptile et conflátile, abominatiónem Dómini, opus mánuum artíficum, ponétque illud in abscóndito: et respondébit omnis pópulus, et dicet: Amen.

ארור האישׁ אשׁר יעשׂה פסל ומסכה תועבת יהוה מעשׂה ידי חרשׁ ושׂם בסתר וענו כל העם ואמרו אמן

Cursed [be] the man that maketh [any] graven or molten image, an abomination unto the LORD, the work of the hands of the craftsman, and putteth [it] in [a] secret [place]. And all the people shall answer and say, Amen.

אָר֕וּר מַקְלֶ֥ה אָבִ֖יו וְאִמּ֑וֹ וְאָמַ֥ר כָּל הָ־עָ֖ם אָמֵֽן׃ ס

Ἐπικατάρατος ὁ ἀτιμάζων πατέρα αὐτοῦ ἢ μητέρα αὐτοῦ. καὶ ἐροῦσιν πᾶς ὁ λαός Γένοιτο.

Maledíctus qui non honórat patrem suum, et matrem: et dicet omnis pópulus: Amen.

ארור מקלה אביו ואמו ואמרו כל העם אמן

Cursed [be] he that setteth light by his father or his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

אָר֕וּר מַסִּ֖יג גְּב֣וּל רֵעֵ֑הוּ וְאָמַ֥ר כָּל הָ־עָ֖ם אָמֵֽן׃ ס

Ἐπικατάρατος ὁ μετατιθεὶς ὅρια τοῦ πλησίον. καὶ ἐροῦσιν πᾶς ὁ λαός Γένοιτο.

Ἐπικατάρατος ὁ πλανῶν τυφλὸν ἐν ὁδῷ. καὶ ἐροῦσιν πᾶς ὁ λαός Γένοιτο.

Maledíctus qui erráre facit cæcum in itínere: et dicet omnis pópulus: Amen.

ארור משׁגה עור בדרך ואמרו כל העם אמן

Cursed [be] he that maketh the blind to wander out of the way. And all the people shall say, Amen.

אָר֗וּר מַטֶּ֛ה מִשְׁפַּ֥ט גֵּר־יָת֖וֹם וְאַלְמָנָ֑ה וְאָמַ֥ר כָּל הָ־עָ֖ם אָמֵֽן׃ ס

Ἐπικατάρατος ὃς ἂν ἐκκλίνῃ κρίσιν προσηλύτου καὶ ὀρφανοῦ καὶ χήρας. καὶ ἐροῦσιν πᾶς ὁ λαός Γένοιτο.

Maledíctus qui pervértit iudícium ádvenæ, pupílli et víduæ: et dicet omnis pópulus: Amen.

ארור מטה משׁפט גר־יתום ואלמנה ואמרו כל העם אמן

Cursed [be] he that perverteth the judgment of the stranger, fatherless, and widow. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Ἐπικατάρατος ὁ κοιμώμενος μετὰ γυναικὸς ἐκ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ, ὅτι ἀπεκάλυψεν συνκάλυμμα τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ. καὶ ἐροῦσιν πᾶς ὁ λαός Γένοιτο.

Maledíctus qui dormit cum uxóre patris sui, et revélat operiméntum léctuli eius: et dicet omnis pópulus: Amen.

ארור שׁכב עם־אשׁת אביו כי גלה כנף אביו ואמרו כל העם אמן
20
Cursed [be] he that lieth with his father ’s wife; because he uncovereth his father ’s skirt. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Ἐπικατάρατος ὁ κοιμώμενος μετὰ παντὸς κτήνους. καὶ ἐροῦσιν πᾶς ὁ λαός Γένοιτο.

Maledíctus qui dormit cum omni iuménto: et dicet omnis pópulus: Amen.

Maledíctus qui dormit cum soróre sua, fília patris sui, vel matris suæ: et dicet omnis pópulus: Amen.

ארור שׁכב עם אחותו בת אביו או בת אמו ואמרו כל העם אמן

Cursed [be] he that lieth with his sister, the daughter of his father, or the daughter of his mother. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Ἐπικατάρατος ὁ κοιμώμενος μετὰ νύμφης αὐτοῦ. καὶ ἐροῦσιν πᾶς ὁ λαός Γένοιτο. Ἐπικατάρατος ὁ κοιμώμενος μετὰ ἀδελφῆς γυναικὸς αὐτοῦ. καὶ ἐροῦσιν πᾶς ὁ λαός Γένοιτο.
