וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהֹוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃

Καὶ ἐλάλησεν Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων

Locútus est autem Dóminus ad Móysen, dicens:

וידבר יהוה אל־משׁה לאמר

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

דַּבֵּר֮ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ וְיָשֻׁ֗בוּ וְיַחֲנוּ֙ לִפְנֵי֙ פִּ֣י הַחִירֹ֔ת בֵּ֥ין מִגְדֹּ֖ל וּבֵ֣ין הַיָּ֑ם לִפְנֵי֙ בַּ֣עַל צְפֹ֔ן נִכְח֥וֹ תַחֲנ֖וּ עַל הַ־יָּֽם׃

Λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραήλ, καὶ ἀποστρέψαντες στρατοπεδευσάτωσαν ἀπέναντι τῆς ἐπαύλεως, ἀνὰ μέσον Μαγδώλου καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον τῆς θαλάσσης, ἐξ ἐναντίας Βεελσεπφών · ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν στρατοπεδεύσεις ἐπὶ τῆς θαλάσσης

Lóquere fíliis Israel: Revérsi castrameténtur e regióne Phiháhiroth, quæ est inter Mágdalum et mare contra Beélsephon: in conspéctu eius castra ponétis super mare.

דבר אל־בני ישׂראל וישׁובו ויחנו לפני פי החירת בין מגדל ובין הים לפני בעל צפון נכחו תחנו על הים
2
Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and encamp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, over against Baalzephon: before it shall ye encamp by the sea.

וְאָמַ֤ר פַּרְעֹה֙ לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל נְבֻכִ֥ים הֵ֖ם בָּאָ֑רֶץ סָגַ֥ר עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם הַמִּדְבָּֽר׃

καὶ ἐρεῖ Φαραὼ τῷ λαῷ αὐτοῦ Οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ πλανῶνται οὗτοι ἐν τῇ γῇ · συνκέκλεικεν γὰρ αὐτούς ἡ ἔρημος.

Dicturúsque est Phárao super fíliis Israel: Coarctáti sunt in terra: conclúsit eos desértum.

ואמר פרעה לבני ישׂראל נבכים הם בארץ סגר עליהם המדבר
3
For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They [are] entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.

וְחִזַּקְתִּ֣י אֶת־לֵב־פַּרְעֹה֮ וְרָדַ֣ף אַחֲרֵיהֶם֒ וְאִכָּבְדָ֤ה בְּפַרְעֹה֙ וּבְכָל חֵיל֔־וֹ וְיָדְע֥וּ מִצְרַ֖יִם כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וַיַּֽעֲשׂוּ־כֵֽן׃
4
ἐγὼ δὲ σκληρυνῶ τὴν καρδίαν Φαραώ, καὶ καταδιώξεται ὀπίσω αὐτῶν · καὶ ἐνδοξασθήσομαι ἐν Φαραὼ καὶ ἐν πάσῃ τῇ στρατιᾷ αὐτοῦ, καὶ γνώσονται πάντες οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι Κύριος. καὶ ἐποίησαν οὕτως.

Et indurábo cor eius, ac persequétur vos: et glorificábor in Pharaóne, et in omni exércitu eius: sciéntque Ægýptii quia ego sum Dóminus. Fecerúntque ita.

והחזקתי את־לב־פרעה ורדף אחריהם ואכבדה בפרעה ובכל חילו וידעו מצרים כי־אני יהוה ויעשׂו־כן
4
And I will harden Pharaoh ’s heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I [am] the LORD. And they did so.

וחזקתי את־לב־פרעה ורדף אחרי׳הם ואכבדה בפרעה ובכל חיל׳ו וידעו מצרים כי־אני יהוה] ויעשו#?[־כן ׃

וַיֻּגַּד֙ לְמֶ֣לֶךְ מִצְרַ֔יִם כִּ֥י בָרַ֖ח הָעָ֑ם וַ֠יֵּהָפֵךְ לְבַ֨ב פַּרְעֹ֤ה וַעֲבָדָיו֙ אֶל הָ־עָ֔ם וַיֹּֽאמרוּ֙ מַה־זֹּ֣את עָשִׂ֔ינוּ כִּֽי־שִׁלַּ֥חְנוּ אֶת־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל מֵעָבְדֵֽנוּ׃
5
καὶ ἀνηγγέλη τῷ βασιλεῖ τῶν Αἰγυπτίων ὅτι πέφευγεν ὁ λαός · καὶ μετεστράφη ἡ καρδία Φαραὼ καὶ ἡ καρδία τῶν θεραπόντων αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὸν λαόν, καὶ εἶπαν Τί τοῦτο ἐποιήσαμεν τοῦ ἐξαποστεῖλαι τοὺς υἱοὺς Ἰσραὴλ τοῦ μὴ δουλεύειν ἡμῖν?

Et nuntiátum est regi Ægyptiórum quod fugísset pópulus: immutatúmque est cor Pharaónis et servórum eius super pópulo, et dixérunt: Quid volúimus fácere ut dimitterémus Israel, ne servíret nobis?

ויגד למלך מצרים כי ברח העם ויהפך לב פרעה ועבדיו על העם ויאמרו מה־זאת עשׂינו כי־שׁלחנו את־ישׂראל מעבדנו
5
And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?

ויגד למלך מצרים כי ברח העם ויהפך לבב פרעה ועבדי׳ו אל העם ויאמרו מה־זאת] עש#[ינ]ו? כ[י־שלחנו את־ישראל מעבד׳נו ׃

וַיֶּאְסֹ֖ר אֶת רִכְבּ֑־וֹ וְאֶת עַמּ֖־וֹ לָקַ֥ח עִמּֽוֹ׃

ἔζευξεν οὖν Φαραὼ τὰ ἅρματα αὐτοῦ, καὶ πάντα τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ συναπήγαγεν μεθ᾽ ἑαυτοῦ,

Iunxit ergo currum, et omnem pópulum suum assúmpsit secum.

ויאסר את רכבו ואת עמו לקח עמו

And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him:

וַיִּקַּ֗ח שֵׁשׁ־מֵא֥וֹת רֶ֨כֶב֙ בָּח֔וּר וְכֹ֖ל רֶ֣כֶב מִצְרָ֑יִם וְשָׁלִשִׁ֖ם עַל כֻּלּֽ־וֹ׃
7
καὶ λαβὼν ἑξακόσια ἅρματα ἐκλεκτὰ καὶ πᾶσαν τὴν ἵππον τῶν Αἰγυπτίων καὶ τριστάτας ἐπὶ πάντων.

Tulítque sexcéntos currus eléctos, et quidquid in Ægýpto cúrruum fuit: et duces totíus exércitus.

ויקח שׁשׁ־מאות רכב בחור וכל רכב מצרים ושׁלישׁים על כלו
7
And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.

וַיְחַזֵּ֣ק יְהֹוָ֗ה אֶת־לֵ֤ב פַּרְעֹה֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ מִצְרַ֔יִם וַיִּרְדֹּ֕ף אַחֲרֵ֖י בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וּבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל יֹצְאִ֖ים בְּיָ֥ד רָמָֽה׃
8
καὶ ἐσκλήρυνεν Κύριος τὴν καρδίαν Φαραὼ βασιλέως Αἰγύπτου καὶ τῶν θεραπόντων αὐτοῦ, καὶ κατεδίωξεν ὀπίσω τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ · οἱ δὲ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ ἐξεπορεύοντο ἐν χειρὶ ὑψηλῇ.

Induravítque Dóminus cor Pharaónis regis Ægýpti, et persecútus est fílios Israel: at illi egréssi erant in manu excélsa.

ויחזק יהוה את־לב פרעה מלך מצרים וירדף אחרי בני ישׂראל ובני ישׂראל יוצאים ביד רמה
8
And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand.

וַיִּרְדְּפ֨וּ מִצְרַ֜יִם אַחֲרֵיהֶ֗ם וַיַּשִּׂ֤יגוּ אוֹתָם֙ חֹנִ֣ים עַל הַ־יָּ֔ם כָּל־סוּס֙ רֶ֣כֶב פַּרְעֹ֔ה וּפָרָשָׁ֖יו וְחֵיל֑וֹ עַל־פִּי֙ הַֽחִירֹ֔ת לִפְנֵ֖י בַּ֥עַל צְפֹֽן׃
9
καὶ κατεδίωξαν οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι ὀπίσω αὐτῶν, καὶ εὕροσαν αὐτοὺς παρεμβεβληκότας παρὰ τὴν θάλασσαν · καὶ πᾶσα ἡ ἵππος καὶ τὰ ἅρματα Φαραὼ καὶ οἱ ἱππεῖς καὶ ἡ στρατιὰ αὐτοῦ ἀπέναντι τῆς ἐπαύλεως, ἐξ ἐναντίας Βεελσεπφών.

Cumque persequeréntur Ægýptii vestígia præcedéntium, reperérunt eos in castris super mare: omnis equitátus et currus Pharaónis, et univérsus exércitus erant in Phiháhiroth contra Beélsephon.

וירדפו מצרים אחריהם וישׂגו אתם חנים על הים כל־סוס רכב פרעה ופרשׁיו וחילו על פי החירת לפני בעל צפון
9
But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses [and] chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.

וירדפו מצרים אחרי׳הם וישיגו אות׳ם חנים על הים כל־סוס רכב פרעה] [ופרשי׳ו וחיל׳ו על־]פ#י[ החירת לפני בעל צפן ׃
10
וּפַרְעֹ֖ה הִקְרִ֑יב וַיִּשְׂאוּ֩ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֨ל אֶת עֵינֵי־הֶ֜ם וְהִנֵּ֥ה מִצְרַ֣יִם ׀ נֹסֵ֣עַ אַחֲרֵיהֶ֗ם וַיִּֽירְאוּ֙ מְאֹ֔ד וַיִּצְעֲק֥וּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל אֶל־יְהוָֽה׃
10
καὶ Φαραὼ προσῆγεν · καὶ ἀναβλέψαντες οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς ὁρῶσιν, καὶ οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι ἐστρατοπέδευσαν ὀπίσω αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐφοβήθησαν σφόδρα. ἀνεβόησαν δὲ οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ πρὸς Κύριον ·

Cumque appropinquásset Phárao, levántes fílii Israel óculos, vidérunt Ægýptios post se, et timuérunt valde: clamaverúntque ad Dóminum,

ופרעה הקריב וישׂאו בני־ישׂראל את עיניהם ויראו והנה מצרים נסעים אחריהם וייראו מאד ויצעקו בני־ישׂראל אל־יהוה
10
And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.

ופרעה הקריב וישאו בני־ישראל את עיני׳הם והנה מצרים] [נס]ע#י#?[ם אחרי׳הם ו]י?יראו#?[ מאד ויצעקו בני־ישראל אל־יהוה ׃

וַיֹּאמְרוּ֮ אֶל־מֹשֶׁה֒ הַֽמִבְּלִ֤י אֵין־קְבָרִים֙ בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם לְקַחְתָּ֖נוּ לָמ֣וּת בַּמִּדְבָּ֑ר מַה־זֹּאת֙ עָשִׂ֣יתָ לָּ֔נוּ לְהוֹצִיאָ֖נוּ מִמִּצְרָֽיִם׃
11
καὶ εἶπαν πρὸς Μωυσῆν Παρὰ τὸ μὴ ὑπάρχειν μνήματα ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ ἐξήγαγες ἡμᾶς θανατῶσαι ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ? τί τοῦτο ἐποίησας ἡμῖν, ἐξαγαγὼν ἐξ Αἰγύπτου?

et dixérunt ad Móysen: Fórsitan non erant sepúlcra in Ægýpto, ídeo tulísti nos ut morerémur in solitúdine: quid hoc fácere voluísti, ut edúceres nos ex Ægýpto?

ויאמרו אל־משׁה המבלי אין־קברים במצרים לקחתנו למות במדבר מה־זאת עשׂית לנו להוציאנו ממצרים
11
And they said unto Moses, Because [there were] no graves in Egypt, hast thou taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore hast thou dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?

ויאמרו אל־משה המבלי אין־קברים במצרים] ל[קחת׳נו למו]ת ב#מדבר מ#[ה־זאת עשית ל׳נו להוציא׳נו ממצרים ׃

הֲלֹא־זֶ֣ה הַדָּבָ֗ר אֲשֶׁר֩ דִּבַּ֨רְנוּ אֵלֶ֤יךָ בְמִצְרַ֨יִם֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר חֲדַ֥ל מִמֶּ֖נּוּ וְנַֽעַבְדָ֣ה אֶת־מִצְרָ֑יִם כִּ֣י ט֥וֹב לָ֨נוּ֙ עֲבֹ֣ד אֶת־מִצְרַ֔יִם מִמֻּתֵ֖נוּ בַּמִּדְבָּֽר׃

οὐ τοῦτο ἦν τὸ ῥῆμα ὃ ἐλαλήσαμεν πρὸς σὲ ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ λέγοντες Πάρες ἡμᾶς ὅπως δουλεύσωμεν τοῖς Αἰγυπτίοις? κρεῖσσον γὰρ ἡμᾶς δουλεύειν τοῖς Αἰγυπτίοις ἢ ἀποθανεῖν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ ταύτῃ.

Nonne iste est sermo, quem loquebámur ad te in Ægýpto, dicéntes: Recéde a nobis, ut serviámus Ægýptiis? multo enim mélius erat servíre eis, quam mori in solitúdine.

הלוא זה הדבר אשׁר דברנו אליך במצרים לאמר חדל נא ממנו ונעבדה את־מצרים כי טוב לנו עבד את־מצרים ממותנו במדבר

[Is] not this the word that we did tell thee in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For [it had been] better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.

הלא־זה הדבר אשר דברנו אלי׳ך במצרים] ל[א]מ[ר חדל ממ׳נו ונעבדה את־מצרים כי טוב ל׳נו עבד את־מצרים ממת׳נו במדבר ׃

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר מֹשֶׁ֣ה אֶל הָ־עָם֮ אַל־תִּירָאוּ֒ הִֽתְיַצְב֗וּ וּרְאוּ֙ אֶת־יְשׁוּעַ֣ת יְהוָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־יַעֲשֶׂ֥ה לָכֶ֖ם הַיּ֑וֹם כִּ֗י אֲשֶׁ֨ר רְאִיתֶ֤ם אֶת־מִצְרַ֨יִם֙ הַיּ֔וֹם לֹ֥א תֹסִ֛יפוּ לִרְאֹתָ֥ם ע֖וֹד עַד־עוֹלָֽם׃

εἶπεν δὲ Μωυσῆς πρὸς τὸν λαόν Θαρσεῖτε · στῆτε καὶ ὁρᾶτε τὴν σωτηρίαν τὴν παρὰ τοῦ θεοῦ, ἣν ποιήσει ἡμῖν σήμερον · ὃν τρόπον γὰρ ἑωράκατε τοὺς Αἰγυπτίους σήμερον, οὐ προσθήσεσθε ἔτι ἰδεῖν αὐτοὺς εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα χρόνον ·

Et ait Móyses ad pópulum: Nolíte timére: state, et vidéte magnália Dómini quæ factúrus est hódie: Ægýptios enim quos nunc vidétis, nequáquam ultra vidébitis usque in sempitérnum.

ויאמר משׁה אל העם אל־תיראו התיצבו וראו את־ישׁועת יהוה אשׁר־יעשׂה לכם היום כי כאשׁר ראיתם את־מצרים היום לא תוסיפון לראותם עוד עד־עולם
13
And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

העם[ אל־תיראו התיצבו וראו את־ישועת יהוה אשר־יעשה ל׳כם היום כי אשר ראיתם את־מצרים היום] ׃ ויאמר משה אל]

יְהוָ֖ה יִלָּחֵ֣ם לָכֶ֑ם וְאַתֶּ֖ם תַּחֲרִישֽׁוּן׃ פ

Κύριος πολεμήσει περὶ ὑμῶν, καὶ ὑμεῖς σιγήσετε.

Dóminus pugnábit pro vobis, et vos tacébitis.

יהוה ילחם לכם ואתם תחרישׁון

The LORD shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֔ה מַה־תִּצְעַ֖ק אֵלָ֑י דַּבֵּ֥ר אֶל־בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל וְיִסָּֽעוּ׃

Εἶπεν δὲ Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν Τί βοᾷς πρὸς μέ? λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραὴλ καὶ ἀναζευξάτωσαν ·

Dixítque Dóminus ad Móysen: Quid clamas ad me? lóquere fíliis Israel ut proficiscántur.

ויאמר יהוה אל־משׁה מה־תצעק אלי דבר אל־בני־ישׂראל ויסעו
15
And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore criest thou unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:

וְאַתָּ֞ה הָרֵ֣ם אֶֽת מַטְּ־ךָ֗ וּנְטֵ֧ה אֶת יָדְ־ךָ֛ עַל הַ־יָּ֖ם וּבְקָעֵ֑הוּ וְיָבֹ֧אוּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל בְּת֥וֹךְ הַיָּ֖ם בַּיַּבָּשָֽׁה׃
16
καὶ σὺ ἔπαρον τῇ ῥάβδῳ σου, καὶ ἔκτεινον τὴν χεῖρά σου ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν καὶ ῥῆξον αὐτήν, καὶ εἰσελθάτωσαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ εἰς μέσον τῆς θαλάσσης κατὰ τὸ ξηρόν.

Tu autem éleva virgam tuam, et exténde manum tuam super mare, et dívide illud: ut gradiántur fílii Israel in médio mari per siccum.

ואתה הרם את מטך ונטה את ידך על הים ובקעהו ויבאו בני־ישׂראל בתוך הים ביבשׁה
16
But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry [ground] through the midst of the sea.

וַאֲנִ֗י הִנְנִ֤י מְחַזֵּק֙ אֶת־לֵ֣ב מִצְרַ֔יִם וְיָבֹ֖אוּ אַחֲרֵיהֶ֑ם וְאִכָּבְדָ֤ה בְּפַרְעֹה֙ וּבְכָל חֵיל֔־וֹ בְּרִכְבּ֖וֹ וּבְפָרָשָֽׁיו׃
17
καὶ ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ σκληρυνῶ τὴν καρδίαν Φαραὼ καὶ τῶν Αἰγυπτίων πάντων, καὶ εἰσελεύσονται ὀπίσω αὐτῶν · καὶ ἐνδοξασθήσομαι ἐν Φαραὼ καὶ ἐν πάσῃ τῇ στρατιᾷ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἅρμασιν καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἵπποις αὐτοῦ.

Ego autem indurábo cor Ægyptiórum ut persequántur vos: et glorificábor in Pharaóne, et in omni exércitu eius, et in cúrribus et in equítibus illíus.

ואני הנני מחזיק את־לב מצרים ויבאו אחריהם ואכבדה בפרעה ובכל חילו ברכבו ובפרשׁיו
17
And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

וְיָדְע֥וּ מִצְרַ֖יִם כִּי־אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֑ה בְּהִכָּבְדִ֣י בְּפַרְעֹ֔ה בְּרִכְבּ֖וֹ וּבְפָרָשָֽׁיו׃
18
καὶ γνώσονται πάντες οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι Κύριος, ἐνδοξαζομένου μου ἐν Φαραὼ καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἅρμασιν καὶ ἵπποις αὐτοῦ.

Et scient Ægýptii quia ego sum Dóminus cum glorificátus fúero in Pharaóne, et in cúrribus atque in equítibus eius.

וידעו כל מצרים כי־אני יהוה בהכבדי בפרעה ובכל חילו ברכבו ובפרשׁיו

And the Egyptians shall know that I [am] the LORD, when I have gotten me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness [to them], but it gave light by night [to these]: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

ἐξέτεινεν δὲ Μωυσῆς τὴν χεῖρα ἐπὶ τὴν θάλασσαν · καὶ ὑπήγαγεν Κύριος τὴν θάλασσαν ἐν ἀνέμῳ νότῳ βιαίῳ ὅλην τὴν νύκτα, καὶ ἐποίησεν τὴν θάλασσαν ξηράν, καὶ ἐσχίσθη τὸ ὕδωρ.

Cumque extendísset Móyses manum super mare, ábstulit illud Dóminus flante vento veheménti et urénte tota nocte, et vertit in siccum: divisáque est aqua.

And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go [back] by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry [land], and the waters were divided.

Et ingréssi sunt fílii Israel per médium sicci maris: erat enim aqua quasi murus a dextra eórum et læva.

And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,

et subvértit rotas cúrruum, ferebantúrque in profúndum. Dixérunt ergo Ægýptii: Fugiámus Israélem: Dóminus enim pugnat pro eis contra nos.

ויאסר את אפן מרכבתיו וינהגהו בכבודות ויאמרו מצרים אנוסה מפני ישׂראל כי יהוה הנלחם להם במצרים

And took off their chariot wheels, that they drave them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fighteth for them against the Egyptians.
