וַיְהִ֣י ׀ בַּשָּׁנָ֣ה הַשְּׁבִיעִ֗ית בַּֽחֲמִשִׁי֙ בֶּעָשׂ֣וֹר לַחֹ֔דֶשׁ בָּ֧אוּ אֲנָשִׁ֛ים מִזִּקְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לִדְרֹ֣שׁ אֶת־יְהוָ֑ה וַיֵּשְׁב֖וּ לְפָנָֽי׃ ס

Καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ ἔτει τῷ ἑβδόμῳ τῇ πεντεκαιδεκάτῃ τοῦ μηνὸς ἦλθον ἄνδρες ἐκ τῶν πρεσβυτέρων οἴκου Ἰσραὴλ ἐπερωτῆσαι τὸν κύριον, καὶ ἐκάθισαν πρὸ προσώπου μου

בֶּן־אָדָ֗ם דַּבֵּ֞ר אֶת־זִקְנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ וְאָמַרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵהֶ֔ם כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה הֲלִדְרֹ֥שׁ אֹתִ֖י אַתֶּ֣ם בָּאִ֑ים חַי־אָ֨נִי֙ אִם־אִדָּרֵ֣שׁ לָכֶ֔ם נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃

Υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου, λάλησον πρὸς τοὺς πρεσβυτέρους τοῦ Ἰσραὴλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς Τάδε λέγει Κύριος Εἰ ἐπερωτῆσαί με ὑμεῖς ἔρχεσθε; ζῶ ἐγὼ εἰ ἀποκριθήσομαι ὑμῖν, λέγει Κύριος,

εἰ ἐκδικήσω αὐτοὺς ἐκδικήσει. υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου, τὰς ἀνομίας τῶν πατέρων αὐτῶν διαμάρτυραι αὐτοῖς,

ἐν ἐκείνῃ τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἀντελαβόμην τῇ χειρί μου αὐτῶν τοῦ ἐξαγαγεῖν αὐτοὺς ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου εἰς τὴν γῆν ἣν ἡτοίμασα αὐτοῖς, γῆν ῥέουσαν γάλα καὶ μέλι, κηρίον ἐστὶν παρὰ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν.

καὶ εἶπα πρὸς αὐτούς Ἕκαστος βδελύγματα τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν ἀποριψάτω, καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἐπιτηδεύμασιν Αἰγύπτου μὴ μιαίνεσθε · ἐγὼ Κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν.

וַיַּמְרוּ בִ֗־י וְלֹ֤א אָבוּ֙ לִּשְׁמֹ֣עַ אֵלַ֔י אִ֣ישׁ אֶת־שִׁקּוּצֵ֤י עֵֽינֵיהֶם֙ לֹ֣א הִשְׁלִ֔יכוּ וְאֶת־גִּלּוּלֵ֥י מִצְרַ֖יִם לֹ֣א עָזָ֑בוּ וָאֹמַ֞ר לִשְׁפֹּ֧ךְ חֲמָתִ֣י עֲלֵיהֶ֗ם לְכַלּ֤וֹת אַפִּי֙ בָּהֶ֔ם בְּת֖וֹךְ אֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃

καὶ ἀπέστησαν ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ, καὶ οὐκ ἠθέλησαν εἰσακοῦσαί μου, τὰ βδελύγματα τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν αὐτῶν οὐκ ἀπέρριψαν καὶ τὰ ἐπιτηδεύματα Αἰγύπτου οὐκ ἐγκατέλειπον. καὶ εἶπα τοῦ ἐκχέαι τὸν θυμόν μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτούς, τοῦ συντελέσαι ὀργήν μου ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐν μέσῳ γῆς Αἰγύπτου.

Et irritavérunt me, noluerúntque me audíre: unusquísque abominatiónes oculórum suórum non proiécit, nec idóla Ægýpti reliquérunt. Et dixi ut effúnderem indignatiónem meam super eos, et implérem iram meam in eis, in médio terræ Ægýpti.

But they rebelled against me, and would not hearken unto me: they did not every man cast away the abominations of their eyes, neither did they forsake the idols of Egypt: then I said, I will pour out my fury upon them, to accomplish my anger against them in the midst of the land of Egypt.

וָאַ֨עַשׂ֙ לְמַ֣עַן שְׁמִ֔י לְבִלְתִּ֥י הֵחֵ֛ל לְעֵינֵ֥י הַגּוֹיִ֖ם אֲשֶׁר־הֵ֣מָּה בְתוֹכָ֑ם אֲשֶׁ֨ר נוֹדַ֤עְתִּי אֲלֵיהֶם֙ לְעֵ֣ינֵיהֶ֔ם לְהוֹצִיאָ֖ם מֵאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃

καὶ ἐποίησα ὅπως τὸ ὄνομά μου τὸ παράπαν μὴ βεβηλωθῇ ἐνώπιον τῶν ἐθνῶν ὧν αὐτοί εἰσιν ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῶν, ἐν οἷς ἐγνώσθην πρὸς αὐτοὺς ἐνώπιον αὐτῶν τοῦ ἐξαγαγεῖν αὐτοὺς ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου.

Et feci propter nomen meum, ut non violarétur coram géntibus, in quarum médio erant, et inter quas appárui eis ut edúcerem eos de terra Ægýpti.

καὶ ἔδωκα αὐτοῖς τὰ προστάγματά μου, καὶ τὰ δικαιώματά μου ἐγνώρισα αὐτοῖς, ὅσα ποιήσει αὐτὰ ἄνθρωπος καὶ ζήσεται ἐν αὐτοῖς.

καὶ τὰ σάββατά μου ἔδωκα αὐτοῖς τοῦ εἶναι εἰς σημεῖον ἀνὰ μέσον ἐμοῦ καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον αὐτῶν, τοῦ γνῶναι αὐτοὺς διότι ἐγὼ Κύριος ὁ ἁγιάζων αὐτούς.

καὶ εἶπα πρὸς τὸν οἶκον τοῦ Ἰσραὴλ ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ Ἐν τοῖς προστάγμασίν μου πορεύεσθε. καὶ οὐκ ἐπορεύθησαν, καὶ τὰ δικαιώματά μου ἀπώσαντο, ἃ ποιήσει αὐτὰ ἄνθρωπος καὶ ζήσεται ἐν αὐτοῖς, καὶ τὰ σάββατά μου ἐβεβήλωσαν σφόδρα. καὶ εἶπα τοῦ ἐκχέαι τὸν θυμόν μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ τοῦ ἐξαναλῶσαι αὐτούς.

יַ֜עַן בְּמִשְׁפָּטַ֣י מָאָ֗סוּ וְאֶת חֻקּוֹתַ־י֙ לֹא־הָלְכ֣וּ בָהֶ֔ם וְאֶת שַׁבְּתוֹתַ֖־י חִלֵּ֑לוּ כִּ֛י אַחֲרֵ֥י גִלּוּלֵיהֶ֖ם לִבָּ֥ם הֹלֵֽךְ׃

ἀνθ᾽ ὧν τὰ δικαιώματά μου ἀπώσαντο, καὶ ἐν τοῖς προστάγμασίν μου οὐκ ἐπορεύθησαν ἐν αὐτοῖς, καὶ τὰ σάββατά μου ἐβεβήλουν, καὶ ὀπίσω τῶν ἐνθυμημάτων καρδίας αὐτῶν ἐπορεύοντο.

καὶ ἐφείσατο ὁ ὀφθαλμός μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς τοῦ ἐξαλεῖψαι αὐτούς, καὶ οὐκ ἐποίησα αὐτοὺς εἰς συντέλειαν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ.

καὶ εἶπα πρὸς τὰ τέκνα αὐτῶν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ Ἐν τοῖς νομίμοις τῶν πατέρων ὑμῶν μὴ πορεύεσθε, καὶ τὰ δικαιώματα αὐτῶν μὴ φυλάσσεσθε, καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἐπιτηδεύμασιν αὐτῶν μὴ συναναμίσγεσθε καὶ μὴ μιαίνεσθε.
