וְאַתָּה֙ שָׂ֣א קִינָ֔ה אֶל־נְשִׂיאֵ֖י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

Καὶ σὺ λάβε θρῆνον ἐπὶ τὸν ἄρχοντα τοῦ Ἰσραήλ,

וְאָמַרְתָּ֗ מָ֤ה אִמְּךָ֙ לְבִיָּ֔א בֵּ֥ין אֲרָי֖וֹת רָבָ֑צָה בְּת֥וֹךְ כְּפִרִ֖ים רִבְּתָ֥ה גוּרֶֽיהָ׃

καὶ ἐρεῖς Τί μήτηρ σου; σκύμνος · ἐν μέσῳ λεόντων ἐγενήθη, ἐν μέσῳ λεόντων ἐπλήθυνεν σκύμνους αὐτῆς.

et dices: Quare mater tua leǽna inter leónes cubávit, in médio leunculórum enutrívit cátulos suos?

And say, What [is] thy mother? A lioness: she lay down among lions, she nourished her whelps among young lions.

וַתַּ֛עַל אֶחָ֥ד מִגֻּרֶ֖יהָ כְּפִ֣יר הָיָ֑ה וַיִּלְמַ֥ד לִטְרָף־טֶ֖רֶף אָדָ֥ם אָכָֽל׃

καὶ ἀπεπήδησεν εἷς τῶν σκύμνων αὐτῆς, λέων ἐγένετο, καὶ ἔμαθεν τοῦ ἁρπάζειν ἁρπάγματα, ἀνθρώπους ἔφαγεν.

Et edúxit unum de leúnculis suis, et leo factus est: et dídicit cápere prædam, hominémque comédere.

וַיִּשְׁמְע֥וּ אֵלָ֛יו גּוֹיִ֖ם בְּשַׁחְתָּ֣ם נִתְפָּ֑שׂ וַיְבִאֻ֥הוּ בַֽחַחִ֖ים אֶל־אֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃

καὶ ἤκουσαν κατ᾽ αὐτοῦ ἔθνη, ἐν τῇ διαφθορᾷ αὐτῶν συνελήμφθη, καὶ ἤγαγον αὐτὸν ἐν κημῷ εἰς γῆν Αἰγύπτου.

Et audiérunt de eo gentes, et non absque vulnéribus suis cepérunt eum: et adduxérunt eum in caténis in terram Ægýpti.

καὶ ἴδεν ὅτι ἀπῶσται ἀπ᾽ αὐτῆς, ἀπώλετο ὑπόστασις αὐτῆς · καὶ ἔλαβεν ἄλλον ἐκ τῶν σκύμνων αὐτῆς, λέοντα ἔταξεν αὐτόν.

Quæ cum vidísset quóniam infirmáta est, et périit exspectátio eius: tulit unum de leúnculis suis, leónem constítuit eum.

καὶ ἀνεστρέφετο ἐν μέσῳ λεόντων, λέων ἐγένετο, καὶ ἔμαθεν ἁρπάζειν ἁρπάγματα, ἀνθρώπους ἔφαγεν ·

καὶ ἐνέμετο τῷ θράσει αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰς πόλεις αὐτῶν ἐξηρήμωσεν, καὶ ἠφάνισεν γῆν καὶ τὸ πλήρωμα αὐτῆς ἀπὸ φωνῆς ὠρύματος αὐτοῦ.

וַיִּתְּנ֨וּ עָלָ֥יו גּוֹיִ֛ם סָבִ֖יב מִמְּדִינ֑וֹת וַֽיִּפְרְשׂ֥וּ עָלָ֛יו רִשְׁתָּ֖ם בְּשַׁחְתָּ֥ם נִתְפָּֽשׂ׃

καὶ ἔδωκαν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν ἔθνη ἐκ χωρῶν κυκλόθεν, καὶ ἐξεπέτασαν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν δίκτυα αὐτῶν, ἐν διαφθορᾷ αὐτῶν συνελήμφθη ·

וַֽיִּתְּנֻ֤הוּ בַסּוּגַר֙ בַּֽחַחִ֔ים וַיְבִאֻ֖הוּ אֶל־מֶ֣לֶךְ בָּבֶ֑ל יְבִאֻ֨הוּ֙ בַּמְּצֹד֔וֹת לְמַ֗עַן לֹא־יִשָּׁמַ֥ע קוֹל֛וֹ ע֖וֹד אֶל־הָרֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ פ

καὶ ἔθεντο αὐτὸν ἐν κημῷ καὶ ἐν γαλεάγρᾳ, ἦλθεν πρὸς βασιλέα Βαβυλῶνος, καὶ εἰσήγαγεν αὐτὸν εἰς φυλακήν, ὅπως μὴ ἀκουσθῇ φωνὴ αὐτοῦ ἐπὶ τὰ ὄρη τοῦ Ἰσραήλ.

Et misérunt eum in cáveam, in caténis adduxérunt eum ad regem Babylónis: miserúntque eum in cárcerem, ne audirétur vox eius ultra super montes Israel.

אִמְּךָ֥ כַגֶּ֛פֶן בְּדָמְךָ֖ עַל־מַ֣יִם שְׁתוּלָ֑ה פֹּֽרִיָּה֙ וַֽעֲנֵפָ֔ה הָיְתָ֖ה מִמַּ֥יִם רַבִּֽים׃

μήτηρ σου ὡς ἄμπελος καὶ ὡς ἄνθος ἐν ῥόᾳ ἐν ὕδατι πεφυτευμένη, καρπὸς αὐτῆς καὶ βλαστὸς αὐτῆς ἐγένετο ἐξ ὕδατος πολλοῦ.

Mater tua quasi vínea in sánguine tuo super aquam plantáta est: fructus eius, et frondes eius crevérunt ex aquis multis.

Thy mother [is] like a vine in thy blood, planted by the waters: she was fruitful and full of branches by reason of many waters.

וַיִּֽהְיוּ לָ֞־הּ מַטּ֣וֹת עֹ֗ז אֶל־שִׁבְטֵי֙ מֹֽשְׁלִ֔ים וַתִּגְבַּ֥הּ קֽוֹמָת֖וֹ עַל־בֵּ֣ין עֲבֹתִ֑ים וַיֵּרָ֣א בְגָבְה֔וֹ בְּרֹ֖ב דָּלִיֹּתָֽיו׃

καὶ ἐγένετο αὕτη ῥάβδος ἐπὶ φυλὴν ἡγουμένων, καὶ ὑψώθη τῷ μεγέθει αὐτῆς ἐν μέσῳ στελεχῶν, καὶ ἴδεν τὸ μέγεθος αὐτῆς ἐν πλήθει κλημάτων αὐτῆς.

Et factæ sunt ei virgæ sólidæ in sceptra dominántium, et exaltáta est statúra eius inter frondes: et vidit altitúdinem suam in multitúdine pálmitum suórum.

And she had strong rods for the sceptres of them that bare rule, and her stature was exalted among the thick branches, and she appeared in her height with the multitude of her branches.

וַתֻּתַּ֤שׁ בְּחֵמָה֙ לָאָ֣רֶץ הֻשְׁלָ֔כָה וְר֥וּחַ הַקָּדִ֖ים הוֹבִ֣ישׁ פִּרְיָ֑הּ הִתְפָּרְק֧וּ וְיָבֵ֛שׁוּ מַטֵּ֥ה עֻזָּ֖הּ אֵ֥שׁ אֲכָלָֽתְהוּ׃

καὶ κατεκλάσθη ἐν θυμῷ, ἐπὶ γῆν ἐρρίφη, καὶ ἄνεμος καύσων ἐξήρανεν τὰ ἐκλεκτὰ αὐτῆς · ἐξεδικήθησαν, καὶ ἐξηράνθη ῥάβδος ἰσχύος αὐτῆς, πῦρ ἀνήλωσεν αὐτήν.

Et evúlsa est in ira, in terrámque proiécta, et ventus urens siccávit fructum eius: marcuérunt, et arefáctæ sunt virgæ róboris eius: ignis comédit eam.

But she was plucked up in fury, she was cast down to the ground, and the east wind dried up her fruit: her strong rods were broken and withered; the fire consumed them.

וְעַתָּ֖ה שְׁתוּלָ֣ה בַמִּדְבָּ֑ר בְּאֶ֖רֶץ צִיָּ֥ה וְצָמָֽא׃

καὶ νῦν πεφύτευκαν αὐτὴν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ, ἐν γῇ ἀνύδρῳ.

וַתֵּצֵ֨א אֵ֜שׁ מִמַּטֵּ֤ה בַדֶּ֨יהָ֙ פִּרְיָ֣הּ אָכָ֔לָה וְלֹא־הָ֥יָה בָ֛הּ מַטֵּה־עֹ֖ז שֵׁ֣בֶט לִמְשׁ֑וֹל קִ֥ינָה הִ֖יא וַתְּהִ֥י לְקִינָֽה׃ פ

καὶ ἐξῆλθεν πῦρ ἐκ ῥάβδου ἐκλεκτῶν αὐτῆς καὶ κατέφαγεν αὐτήν, καὶ οὐκ ἦν ἐν αὐτῇ ῥάβδος ἰσχύος · φυλὴ εἰς παραβολὴν θρήνου ἐστίν, καὶ ἔσται εἰς θρῆνον.

Et egréssus est ignis de virga ramórum eius, qui fructum eius comédit: et non fuit in ea virga fortis, sceptrum dominántium. Planctus est, et erit in planctum.
