בִּשְׁנַ֨ת בֹּ֤א תַרְתָּן֙ אַשְׁדּ֔וֹדָה בִּשְׁלֹ֣ח אֹת֔וֹ סַֽרְג֖וֹן מֶ֣לֶךְ אַשּׁ֑וּר וַיִּלָּ֥חֶם בְּאַשְׁדּ֖וֹד וַֽיִּלְכְּדָֽהּ׃

Τοῦ ἔτους ὅτε εἰσῆλθεν Ταναθὰν εἰς Ἄζωτον, ἡνίκα ἀπεστάλη ὑπὸ Ἀρνὰ βασιλέως Ἀσσυρίων καὶ ἐπολέμησεν τὴν Ἄζωτον καὶ ἔλαβεν αὐτήν

בָּעֵ֣ת הַהִ֗יא דִּבֶּ֣ר יְהוָה֮ בְּיַ֣ד יְשַׁעְיָ֣הוּ בֶן־אָמוֹץ֮ לֵאמֹר֒ לֵ֗ךְ וּפִתַּחְתָּ֤ הַשַּׂק֙ מֵעַ֣ל מָתְנֶ֔יךָ וְנַעַלְךָ֥ תַחֲלֹ֖ץ מֵעַ֣ל רַגְלֶ֑יךָ וַיַּ֣עַשׂ כֵּ֔ן הָלֹ֖ךְ עָר֥וֹם וְיָחֵֽף׃ ס

τότε ἐλάλησεν Κύριος πρὸς Ἠσαίαν υἱὸν Ἀμὼς λὲγων Πορεύου καὶ ἄφελε τὸν σάκκον ἀπὸ τῆς ὀσφύος σου, καὶ τὰ σανδάλιά σου ὑπόλυσαι ἀπὸ τῶν ποδῶν σου, καὶ ποίησον οὕτως, πορευόμενος γυμνὸς καὶ ἀνυπόδετος.

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר יְהוָ֔ה כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר הָלַ֛ךְ עַבְדִּ֥י יְשַׁעְיָ֖הוּ עָר֣וֹם וְיָחֵ֑ף שָׁלֹ֤שׁ שָׁנִים֙ א֣וֹת וּמוֹפֵ֔ת עַל־מִצְרַ֖יִם וְעַל־כּֽוּשׁ׃

καὶ εἶπεν Κύριος Ὃν τρόπον πεπόρευται ὁ παῖς μου Ἠσαίας γυμνὸς καὶ ἀνυπόδετος τρία ἔτη, τρία ἔτη ἔσται εἰς σημεῖα καὶ τέρατα τοῖς Αἰγυπτίοις καὶ Αἰθίοψιν ·

Et dixit Dóminus: Sicut ambulávit servus meus Isaías nudus, et discalceátus, trium annórum signum et porténtum erit super Ægýptum, et super Æthiópiam,

כֵּ֣ן יִנְהַ֣ג מֶֽלֶךְ־אַ֠שּׁוּר אֶת־שְׁבִ֨י מִצְרַ֜יִם וְאֶת־גָּל֥וּת כּ֛וּשׁ נְעָרִ֥ים וּזְקֵנִ֖ים עָר֣וֹם וְיָחֵ֑ף וַחֲשׂוּפַ֥י שֵׁ֖ת עֶרְוַ֥ת מִצְרָֽיִם׃

ὅτι οὕτως ἄξει βασιλεὺς Ἀσσυρίων τὴν αἰχμαλωσίαν Αἰγύπτου καὶ Αἰθιόπων, νεανίσκους καὶ πρεσβύτας, γυμνοὺς καὶ ἀνυποδέτους ἅμα, κεκαλυμμένους τὴν αἰσχύνην Αἰγύπτου.

So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with [their] buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.

ויחף וחשופי שת ערות מצרים ׃ כן ינהג מלכ אשור את־שבי מצרים ואת גולת כוש נערים וזקנים ערום

וְחַתּ֖וּ וָבֹ֑שׁוּ מִכּוּשׁ֙ מַבָּטָ֔ם וּמִן־מִצְרַ֖יִם תִּפְאַרְתָּֽם׃

καὶ αἰσχυνθήσονται ἡττηθέντες ἐπὶ τοῖς Αἰθίοψιν, ἐφ᾽ οἷς ἦσαν πεποιθότες οἱ Αἰγύπτιοι, οἳ ἦσαν αὐτοῖς δόξα.

Et timébunt, et confundéntur ab Æthiópia spe sua, et ab Ægýpto glória sua.

And they shall be afraid and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation, and of Egypt their glory.

וְ֠אָמַר יֹשֵׁ֨ב הָאִ֣י הַזֶּה֮ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַהוּא֒ הִנֵּה־כֹ֣ה מַבָּטֵ֗נוּ אֲשֶׁר־נַ֤סְנוּ שָׁם֙ לְעֶזְרָ֔ה לְהִ֨נָּצֵ֔ל מִפְּנֵ֖י מֶ֣לֶךְ אַשּׁ֑וּר וְאֵ֖יךְ נִמָּלֵ֥ט אֲנָֽחְנוּ׃ ס

καὶ ἐροῦσιν οἱ κατοικοῦντες ἐν τῇ νήσῳ ταύτῃ ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ Ἰδοὺ ἡμεῖς ἦμεν πεποιθότες τοῦ φυγεῖν εἰς αὐτοὺς εἰς βοήθειαν, οἳ οὐκ ἐδύναντο σωθῆναι ἀπὸ βασιλέως Ἀσσυρίων · καὶ πῶς ἡμεῖς σωθησόμεθα?

Et dicet habitátor ínsulæ huius in die illa: Ecce hæc erat spes nostra, ad quos confúgimus in auxílium, ut liberárent nos a fácie regis Assyriórum: et quómodo effúgere potérimus nos?

And the inhabitant of this isle shall say in that day, Behold, such [is] our expectation, whither we flee for help to be delivered from the king of Assyria: and how shall we escape?
