וְנֶ֣פֶשׁ כִּֽי־תֶחֱטָ֗א וְשָֽׁמְעָה֙ ק֣וֹל אָלָ֔ה וְה֣וּא עֵ֔ד א֥וֹ רָאָ֖ה א֣וֹ יָדָ֑ע אִם־ל֥וֹא יַגִּ֖יד וְנָשָׂ֥א עֲוֺנֽוֹ׃
1
Ἐὰν δὲ ψυχὴ ἁμάρτῃ καὶ ἀκούσῃ φωνὴν ὁρκισμοῦ, καὶ οὗτος μάρτυς ἢ ἑώρακεν ἢ σύνοιδεν, ἐὰν μὴ ἀπαγγείλῃ, λήμψεται τὴν ἁμαρτίαν.

Si peccáverit ánima, et audíerit vocem iurántis, testísque fúerit quod aut ipse vidit, aut cónscius est: nisi indicáverit, portábit iniquitátem suam.

ונפשׁ כי־תחטא ושׁמעה קול אלה והוא עד או ראה או ידע אם לא יגיד ונשׂא עונו
1
And if a soul sin, and hear the voice of swearing, and [is] a witness, whether he hath seen or known [of it]; if he do not utter [it], then he shall bear his iniquity.

א֣וֹ נֶ֗פֶשׁ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּגַּע֮ בְּכָל־דָּבָ֣ר טָמֵא֒ אוֹ֩ בְנִבְלַ֨ת חַיָּ֜ה טְמֵאָ֗ה א֤וֹ בְּנִבְלַת֙ בְּהֵמָ֣ה טְמֵאָ֔ה א֕וֹ בְּנִבְלַ֖ת שֶׁ֣רֶץ טָמֵ֑א וְנֶעְלַ֣ם מִמֶּ֔נּוּ וְה֥וּא טָמֵ֖א וְאָשֵֽׁם׃

ἢ ψυχὴ ἥτις ἐὰν ἅψηται παντὸς πράγματος ἀκαθάρτου, ἢ θνησιμαίου ἢ θηριαλώτου ἀκαθάρτου ἢ τῶν θνησιμαίων ἢ τῶν βδελυγμάτων τῶν ἀκαθάρτων ἢ τῶν θνησιμαίων κτηνῶν τῶν ἀκαθάρτων,

Anima quæ tetígerit áliquid immúndum, sive quod occísum a béstia est, aut per se mórtuum, aut quódlibet áliud réptile: et oblíta fúerit immundítiæ suæ, rea est, et delíquit:

או נפשׁ כי תגע בכל־דבר טמא או בנבלת חיה טמאה או בנבלת בהמה טמאה או בנבלת שׁרץ טמא ונעלם ממנו והוא טמא ואשׁם
2
Or if a soul touch any unclean thing, whether [it be] a carcase of an unclean beast, or a carcase of unclean cattle, or the carcase of unclean creeping things, and [if] it be hidden from him; he also shall be unclean, and guilty.

א֣וֹ כִ֤י יִגַּע֙ בְּטֻמְאַ֣ת אָדָ֔ם לְכֹל֙ טֻמְאָת֔וֹ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִטְמָ֖א בָּ֑הּ וְנֶעְלַ֣ם מִמֶּ֔נּוּ וְה֥וּא יָדַ֖ע וְאָשֵֽׁם׃

ἢ ἅψηται ἀπὸ ἀκαθαρσίας ἀνθρώπου, ἀπὸ πάσης ἀκαθαρσίας αὐτοῦ ἧς ἂν ἁψάμενος μιανθῇ, καὶ ἔλαθεν αὐτόν, μετὰ τοῦτο δὲ γνῷ, καὶ πλημμελήσῃ ·

et si tetígerit quidquam de immundítia hóminis iuxta omnem impuritátem, qua póllui solet, oblitáque cognóverit póstea, subiacébit delícto.

או כי יגע בטמאת אדם לכל טמאתו אשׁר יטמא בה ונעלם ממנו והוא ידע ואשׁם

Or if he touch the uncleanness of man, whatsoever uncleanness [it be] that a man shall be defiled withal, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth [of it], then he shall be guilty.

א֣וֹ נֶ֡פֶשׁ כִּ֣י תִשָּׁבַע֩ לְבַטֵּ֨א בִשְׂפָתַ֜יִם לְהָרַ֣ע ׀ א֣וֹ לְהֵיטִ֗יב לְ֠כֹל אֲשֶׁ֨ר יְבַטֵּ֧א הָאָדָ֛ם בִּשְׁבֻעָ֖ה וְנֶעְלַ֣ם מִמֶּ֑נּוּ וְהוּא־יָדַ֥ע וְאָשֵׁ֖ם לְאַחַ֥ת מֵאֵֽלֶּה׃

ἢ ψυχὴ ἡ ἄνομος ἡ διαστέλλουσα τοῖς χείλεσιν κακοποιῆσαι ἢ καλῶς ποιῆσαι κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐὰν διαστείλῃ ὁ ἄνθρωπος μεθ᾽ ὅρκου, καὶ λάθῃ αὐτὸν πρὸ ὀφθαλμῶν, καὶ οὗτος γνῷ, καὶ ἁμάρτῃ ἕν τι τούτων.

Anima, quæ iuráverit, et protúlerit lábiis suis, ut vel male quid fáceret, vel bene, et idípsum iuraménto et sermóne firmáverit, oblitáque póstea intelléxerit delíctum suum,

ונפשׁ כי תשׁבע לבטא בשׂפתים להריע או להטיב לכל אשׁר יבטא האדם בשׁבועה ונעלם ממנו והוא־ידע ואשׁם לאחת מאלה
4
Or if a soul swear, pronouncing with [his] lips to do evil, or to do good, whatsoever [it be] that a man shall pronounce with an oath, and it be hid from him; when he knoweth [of it], then he shall be guilty in one of these.

וְהָיָ֥ה כִֽי־יֶאְשַׁ֖ם לְאַחַ֣ת מֵאֵ֑לֶּה וְהִ֨תְוַדָּ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר חָטָ֖א עָלֶֽיהָ׃

καὶ ἐξαγορεύσει τὴν ἁμαρτίαν περὶ ὧν ἡμάρτηκεν κατ᾽ αὐτῆς,

And it shall be, when he shall be guilty in one of these [things], that he shall confess that he hath sinned in that [thing]:

וְהֵבִ֣יא אֶת אֲשָׁמ֣־וֹ לַיהוָ֡ה עַ֣ל חַטָּאתוֹ֩ אֲשֶׁ֨ר חָטָ֜א נְקֵבָ֨ה מִן הַ־צֹּ֥אן כִּשְׂבָּ֛ה אֽוֹ־שְׂעִירַ֥ת עִזִּ֖ים לְחַטָּ֑את וְכִפֶּ֥ר עָלָ֛יו הַכֹּהֵ֖ן מֵחַטָּאתֽוֹ׃

καὶ οἴσει περὶ ὧν ἐπλημμέλησεν Κυρίῳ, περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας ἧς ἥμαρτεν, θῆλυ ἀπὸ τῶν προβάτων, ἀμνάδα ἢ χίμαιραν ἐξ αἰγῶν περὶ ἁμαρτίας · καὶ ἐξιλάσεται περὶ αὐτοῦ ὁ ἱερεὺς περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας αὐτοῦ ἧς ἥμαρτεν, καὶ ἀφεθήσεται αὐτῷ ἡ ἁμαρτία.

et ófferat de grégibus agnam sive capram, orabítque pro ea sacérdos et pro peccáto eius:

והביא את אשׁמו ליהוה על חטאתו אשׁר חטא נקבה מן הצאן כשׂבה או־שׂעירת עזים לחטאת וכפר עליו הכהן על חטאתו אשׁר חטא ונסלח לו
6
And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD for his sin which he hath sinned, a female from the flock, a lamb or a kid of the goats, for a sin offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him concerning his sin.

וְאִם־לֹ֨א תַגִּ֣יע יָדוֹ֮ דֵּ֣י שֶׂה֒ וְהֵבִ֨יא אֶת אֲשָׁמ֜־וֹ אֲשֶׁ֣ר חָטָ֗א שְׁתֵּ֥י תֹרִ֛ים אֽוֹ־שְׁנֵ֥י בְנֵֽי־יוֹנָ֖ה לַֽיהוָ֑ה אֶחָ֥ד לְחַטָּ֖את וְאֶחָ֥ד לְעֹלָֽה׃
7
ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ἰσχύσῃ ἡ χεὶρ αὐτοῦ τὸ ἱκανὸν εἰς τὸ πρόβατον, οἴσει περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας αὐτοῦ ἧς ἥμαρτεν, δύο τρυγόνας ἢ δύο νοσσοὺς περιστερῶν Κυρίῳ, ἕνα περὶ ἁμαρτίας καὶ ἕνα εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα.

sin autem non potúerit offérre pecus, ófferat duos túrtures, vel duos pullos columbárum Dómino, unum pro peccáto, et álterum in holocáustum,

ואם־לא תשׂיג ידו די שׂה והביא על אשׁמו אשׁר חטא שׁתי תרים או־שׁני בני־יונה ליהוה אחד לחטאת ואחד לעלה
7
And if he be not able to bring a lamb, then he shall bring for his trespass, which he hath committed, two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, unto the LORD; one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering.

וְהֵבִ֤יא אֹתָם֙ אֶל הַ־כֹּהֵ֔ן וְהִקְרִ֛יב אֶת־אֲשֶׁ֥ר לַחַטָּ֖את רִאשׁוֹנָ֑ה וּמָלַ֧ק אֶת רֹאשׁ֛־וֹ מִמּ֥וּל עָרְפּ֖וֹ וְלֹ֥א יַבְדִּֽיל׃
8
καὶ οἴσει αὐτὰ πρὸς τὸν ἱερέα, καὶ προσάξει ὁ ἱερεὺς τὸ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας πρότερον · καὶ ἀποκνίσει ὁ ἱερεὺς τὴν κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ ἀπὸ τοῦ σφονδύλου καὶ οὐ διελεῖ,

dabítque eos sacerdóti: qui primum ófferens pro peccáto, retorquébit caput eius ad pénnulas, ita ut collo hǽreat, et non pénitus abrumpátur.

והביא אתם אל הכהן והקריב את־אשׁר לחטאת ראישׁון ומלק הכהן את ראשׁו ממול ערפו ולא יבדל
8
And he shall bring them unto the priest, who shall offer [that] which [is] for the sin offering first, and wring off his head from his neck, but shall not divide [it] asunder:

וְהִזָּ֞ה מִדַּ֤ם הַחַטָּאת֙ עַל־קִ֣יר הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ וְהַנִּשְׁאָ֣ר בַּדָּ֔ם יִמָּצֵ֖ה אֶל־יְס֣וֹד הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ חַטָּ֖את הֽוּא׃
9
καὶ ῥανεῖ ἀπὸ τοῦ αἵματος τοῦ περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας ἐπὶ τὸν τοῖχον τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου, τὸ δὲ κατάλοιπον τοῦ αἵματος καταστραγγιεῖ ἐπὶ τὴν βάσιν τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου · ἁμαρτίας γάρ ἐστιν ·

Et aspérget de sánguine eius paríetem altáris: quidquid autem réliquum fúerit, fáciet distilláre ad fundaméntum eius, quia pro peccáto est.

והזה מדם החטאת אל קיר המזבח והנשׁאר בדם ימצא אל־יסוד המזבח חטאת היא
9
And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin offering upon the side of the altar; and the rest of the blood shall be wrung out at the bottom of the altar: it [is] a sin offering.

וְאֶת הַ־שֵּׁנִ֛י יַעֲשֶׂ֥ה עֹלָ֖ה כַּמִּשְׁפָּ֑ט וְכִפֶּ֨ר עָלָ֧יו הַכֹּהֵ֛ן מֵחַטָּאת֥וֹ אֲשֶׁר־חָטָ֖א וְנִסְלַ֥ח לֽוֹ׃ ס
10
καὶ τὸ δεύτερον ποιήσει ὁλοκαύτωμα ὡς καθήκει · καὶ ἐξιλάσεται ὁ ἱερεὺς περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας αὐτοῦ ἧς ἥμαρτεν, καὶ ἀφεθήσεται αὐτῷ.

Alterum vero adolébit in holocáustum, ut fíeri solet: rogabítque pro eo sacérdos et pro peccáto eius, et dimittétur ei.

ואת השׁני יעשׂה עלה כמשׁפט וכפר עליו הכהן מחטאתו אשׁר־חטא ונסלח לו
10
And he shall offer the second [for] a burnt offering, according to the manner: and the priest shall make an atonement for him for his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.

וְאִם־לֹא֩ תַשִּׂ֨יג יָד֜וֹ לִשְׁתֵּ֣י תֹרִ֗ים אוֹ֮ לִשְׁנֵ֣י בְנֵי־יוֹנָה֒ וְהֵבִ֨יא אֶת קָרְבָּנ֜־וֹ אֲשֶׁ֣ר חָטָ֗א עֲשִׂירִ֧ת הָאֵפָ֛ה סֹ֖לֶת לְחַטָּ֑את לֹא־יָשִׂ֨ים עָלֶ֜יהָ שֶׁ֗מֶן וְלֹא־יִתֵּ֤ן עָלֶ֨יהָ֙ לְבֹנָ֔ה כִּ֥י חַטָּ֖את הִֽיא׃

Ἐὰν δὲ μὴ εὑρίσκῃ αὐτοῦ ἡ χεὶρ ζεῦγος τρυγόνων ἢ δύο νοσσοὺς περιστερῶν, καὶ οἴσει τὸ δῶρον αὐτοῦ περὶ οὗ ἥμαρτεν τὸ δέκατον τοῦ οἰφὶ σεμιδάλεως περὶ ἁμαρτίας · οὐκ ἐπιχεεῖ ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ ἔλαιον οὐδὲ ἐπιθήσει ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ λίβανον, ὅτι περὶ ἁμαρτίας ἐστίν.

Quod si non quíverit manus eius duos offérre túrtures, aut duos pullos columbárum, ófferet pro peccáto suo símilæ partem ephi décimam: non mittet in eam óleum, nec thuris áliquid impónet, quia pro peccáto est.

ואם־לא תשׂיג ידו לשׁתי תרים או לשׁני בני־יונה והביא את קרבנו אשׁר חטא עשׂירת האיפה סלת לחטאת לא יצק עליה שׁמן ולא־יתן עליה לבונה כי חטאת היא

But if he be not able to bring two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, then he that sinned shall bring for his offering the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a sin offering; he shall put no oil upon it, neither shall he put [any] frankincense thereon: for it [is] a sin offering.

וֶהֱבִיאָהּ֮ אֶל הַ־כֹּהֵן֒ וְקָמַ֣ץ הַכֹּהֵ֣ן ׀ מִ֠מֶּנָּה מְל֨וֹא קֻמְצ֜וֹ אֶת אַזְכָּרָתָ־ה֙ וְהִקְטִ֣יר הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חָה עַ֖ל אִשֵּׁ֣י יְהוָ֑ה חַטָּ֖את הִֽוא׃

καὶ οἴσει αὐτὸ πρὸς τὸν ἱερέα. καὶ δραξάμενος ὁ ἱερεὺς ἀπ᾽ αὐτῆς πλήρη τὴν δράκα, τὸ μνημόσυνον αὐτῆς ἐπιθήσει ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τῶν ὁλοκαυτωμάτων Κυρίῳ · ἁμαρτία ἐστίν.

Tradétque eam sacerdóti: qui plenum ex ea pugíllum háuriens, cremábit super altáre in moniméntum eius qui obtúlerit,

והביאה אל הכהן וקמץ ממנה מלוא קמצו את אזכרתה והקטיר המזבחה על אשׁי יהוה חטאת היא

Then shall he bring it to the priest, and the priest shall take his handful of it, [even] a memorial thereof, and burn [it] on the altar, according to the offerings made by fire unto the LORD: it [is] a sin offering.

וְכִפֶּר֩ עָלָ֨יו הַכֹּהֵ֜ן עַל חַטָּאת֧־וֹ אֲשֶׁר־חָטָ֛א מֵֽאַחַ֥ת מֵאֵ֖לֶּה וְנִסְלַ֣ח ל֑וֹ וְהָיְתָ֥ה לַכֹּהֵ֖ן כַּמִּנְחָֽה׃ ס

καὶ ἐξιλάσεται περὶ αὐτοῦ ὁ ἱερεὺς περὶ τῆς ἁμαρτίας αὐτοῦ ἧς ἥμαρτεν ἐφ᾽ ἑνὸς τούτων, καὶ ἀφεθήσεται αὐτῷ. τὸ δὲ καταλειφθὲν ἔσται τῷ ἱερεῖ, ὡς ἡ θυσία τῆς σεμιδάλεως.

rogans pro illo et éxpians: réliquam vero partem ipse habébit in múnere.

וכפר עליו הכהן על חטאתו אשׁר־חטא מאחת מאלה ונסלח לו והיתה לכהן כמנחה

And the priest shall make an atonement for him as touching his sin that he hath sinned in one of these, and it shall be forgiven him: and [the remnant] shall be the priest’s, as a meat offering.

Καὶ ἐλάλησεν Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων.

Locutúsque est Dóminus ad Móysen, dicens:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

נֶ֚פֶשׁ כִּֽי־תִמְעֹ֣ל מַ֔עַל וְחָֽטְאָה֙ בִּשְׁגָגָ֔ה מִקָּדְשֵׁ֖י יְהוָ֑ה וְהֵבִיא֩ אֶת אֲשָׁמ֨־וֹ לַֽיהוָ֜ה אַ֧יִל תָּמִ֣ים מִן הַ־צֹּ֗אן בְּעֶרְכְּךָ֛ כֶּֽסֶף־שְׁקָלִ֥ים בְּשֶֽׁקֶל הַ־קֹּ֖דֶשׁ לְאָשָֽׁם׃
15
ψυχὴ ἐὰν λάθῃ αὐτὸν λήθῃ καὶ ἁμάρτῃ ἀκουσίως ἀπὸ τῶν ἁγίων Κυρίου, καὶ οἴσει τῆς πλημμελίας αὐτοῦ τῷ κυρίῳ κριὸν ἄμωμον ἐκ τῶν προβάτων τιμῆς ἀργυρίου σίκλων, τῷ σίκλῳ τῶν ἁγίων, περὶ οὗ ἐπλημμέλησεν.

Anima si præváricans cæremónias, per errórem, in his quæ Dómino sunt sanctificáta, peccáverit, ófferet pro delícto suo aríetem immaculátum de grégibus, qui emi potest duóbus siclis, iuxta pondus sanctuárii:

נפשׁ כי־תמעל מעל וחטאה בשׁגגה מקדשׁי יהוה והביא את אשׁמו ליהוה איל תמים מן הצאן בערכך כסף־שׁקלים בשׁקל הקדשׁ לאשׁם
15
If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering:

וְאֵ֣ת אֲשֶׁר֩ חָטָ֨א מִן הַ־קֹּ֜דֶשׁ יְשַׁלֵּ֗ם וְאֶת חֲמִֽישִׁת־וֹ֙ יוֹסֵ֣ף עָלָ֔יו וְנָתַ֥ן אֹת֖וֹ לַכֹּהֵ֑ן וְהַכֹּהֵ֗ן יְכַפֵּ֥ר עָלָ֛יו בְּאֵ֥יל הָאָשָׁ֖ם וְנִסְלַ֥ח לֽוֹ׃ פ

καὶ ὃ ἥμαρτεν ἀπὸ τῶν ἁγίων ἀποτίσαι αὐτό, καὶ τὸ ἐπίπεμπτον προσθήσει ἐπ᾽ αὐτό, καὶ δώσει αὐτὸ τῷ ἱερεῖ · καὶ ὁ ἱερεὺς ἐξιλάσεται περὶ αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ κριῷ τῆς πλημμελίας, καὶ ἀφεθήσεται αὐτῷ.

ipsúmque quod íntulit damni restítuet, et quintam partem ponet supra, tradens sacerdóti, qui rogábit pro eo ófferens aríetem, et dimittétur ei.

ואת אשׁר חטא מן הקדשׁ ישׁלם ואת חמישׁתו יסף עליו ונתן אתו לכהן והכהן יכפר עליו באיל האשׁם ונסלח לו
16
And he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering, and it shall be forgiven him.

וְאִם־נֶ֨פֶשׁ֙ כִּ֣י תֶֽחֱטָ֔א וְעָֽשְׂתָ֗ה אַחַת֙ מִכָּל־מִצְוֺ֣ת יְהוָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֖ר לֹ֣א תֵעָשֶׂ֑ינָה וְלֹֽא־יָדַ֥ע וְאָשֵׁ֖ם וְנָשָׂ֥א עֲוֺנֽוֹ׃
17
Καὶ ἡ ψυχὴ ἣ ἂν ἁμάρτῃ καὶ ποιήσῃ μίαν ἀπὸ πασῶν τῶν ἐντολῶν Κυρίου ὧν οὐ δεῖ ποιεῖν, καὶ οὐκ ἔγνω, καὶ πλημμελήσῃ καὶ λάβῃ τὴν ἁμαρτίαν,
17
Anima si peccáverit per ignorántiam, fecerítque unum ex his quæ Dómini lege prohibéntur, et peccáti rea intelléxerit iniquitátem suam,

ואם־נפשׁ אחת תחטא ועשׂתה אחת מכל־מצות יהוה אשׁר לא תעשׂיהן ולא־ידע ואשׁם ונשׂא עונו
17
And if a soul sin, and commit any of these things which are forbidden to be done by the commandments of the LORD; though he wist [it] not, yet is he guilty, and shall bear his iniquity.

qui rogábit pro eo coram Dómino, et dimittétur illi pro síngulis quæ faciéndo peccávit.
