וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃

Καὶ ἐλάλησεν Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων

Locutúsque est Dóminus ad Móysen, dicens: que

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

עֲשֵׂ֣ה לְךָ֗ שְׁתֵּי֙ חֲצֽוֹצְרֹ֣ת כֶּ֔סֶף מִקְשָׁ֖ה תַּעֲשֶׂ֣ה אֹתָ֑ם וְהָי֤וּ לְךָ֙ לְמִקְרָ֣א הָֽעֵדָ֔ה וּלְמַסַּ֖ע אֶת הַֽ־מַּחֲנֽוֹת׃

Ποίησον σεαυτῷ δύο σάλπιγγας, ἐλατὰς ἀργυρᾶς ποιήσεις σεαυτῷ · καὶ ἔσονταί σοι ἀνακαλεῖν τὴν συναγωγὴν καὶ ἐξαίρειν τὰς παρεμβολάς

Fac tibi duas tubas argénteas dúctiles, quibus convocáre possis multitúdinem quando movénda sunt castra.

עשׂה לך שׁתי חצצרות כסף מקשׁה תעשׂה אתם והיו לך למקרא העדה ולמסע את המחנות
2
Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.

וְתָקְע֖וּ בָּהֵ֑ן וְנֽוֹעֲד֤וּ אֵלֶ֨יךָ֙ כָּל הָ֣־עֵדָ֔ה אֶל־פֶּ֖תַח אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃
3
καὶ σαλπίσεις ἐν αὐταῖς, καὶ συναχθήσεται πᾶσα ἡ συναγωγὴ ἐπὶ τὴν θύραν τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου
3
Cumque increpúeris tubis, congregábitur ad te omnis turba ad óstium tabernáculi fœ́deris.

ותקעו בהן ונועדו אליך כל העדה אל־פתח אהל מועד
3
And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

וְאִם בְּ־אַחַ֖ת יִתְקָ֑עוּ וְנוֹעֲד֤וּ אֵלֶ֨יךָ֙ הַנְּשִׂיאִ֔ים רָאשֵׁ֖י אַלְפֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
4
ἐὰν δὲ ἐν μιᾷ σαλπίσωσιν, προσελεύσονται πρὸς σὲ πάντες οἱ ἄρχοντες, ἀρχηγοὶ Ἰσραήλ

Si semel clangúeris, vénient ad te príncipes, et cápita multitúdinis Israel.

ואם באחת יתקעו ונועדו אליך הנשׂיאים ראשׁי אלפי ישׂראל
4
And if they blow [but] with one [trumpet], then the princes, [which are] heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee.

וּתְקַעְתֶּ֖ם תְּרוּעָ֑ה וְנָֽסְעוּ֙ הַֽמַּחֲנ֔וֹת הַחֹנִ֖ים קֵֽדְמָה׃

καὶ σαλπιεῖτε σημασίαν, καὶ ἐξαροῦσιν αἱ παρεμβολαὶ αἱ παρεμβαλοῦσαι ἀνατολάς
5
Si autem prolíxior atque concísus clangor increpúerit, movébunt castra primi qui sunt ad orientálem plagam.

ותקעתם תרועה ונסעו המחנות החנים קדמה
5
When ye blow an alarm, then the camps that lie on the east parts shall go forward.

וּתְקַעְתֶּ֤ם תְּרוּעָה֙ שֵׁנִ֔ית וְנָֽסְעוּ֙ הַֽמַּחֲנ֔וֹת הַחֹנִ֖ים תֵּימָ֑נָה תְּרוּעָ֥ה יִתְקְע֖וּ לְמַסְעֵיהֶֽם׃

καὶ σαλπιεῖτε σημασίαν δευτέραν, καὶ ἐξαροῦσιν αἱ παρεμβολαὶ αἱ παρεμβάλλουσαι λίβα · καὶ σαλπιεῖτε σημασίαν τρίτην, καὶ ἐξαροῦσιν αἱ παρεμβολαὶ αἱ παρεμβάλλουσαι παρὰ θάλασσαν · καὶ σαλπιεῖτε σημασίαν τετάρτην, καὶ ἐξαροῦσιν αἱ παρεμβολαὶ αἱ παρεμβάλλουσαι πρὸς βορρᾶν · σημασίᾳ σαλπιοῦσιν ἐν τῇ ἐξάρσει αὐτῶν

In secúndo autem sónitu et pari ululátu tubæ, levábunt tentória qui hábitant ad merídiem: et iuxta hunc modum réliqui fácient, ululántibus tubis in profectiónem.

ותקעתם תרועה שׁנית ונסעו המחנות החנים צפונה תרועה יתקעו למסעיהם
6
When ye blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm for their journeys.

וּבְהַקְהִ֖יל אֶת הַ־קָּהָ֑ל תִּתְקְע֖וּ וְלֹ֥א תָרִֽיעוּ׃

καὶ ὅταν συναγάγητε τὴν συναγωγήν, σαλπιεῖτε, καὶ οὐ σημασίᾳ
7
Quando autem congregándus est pópulus, simplex tubárum clangor erit, et non concíse ululábunt.

ובהקהל את הקהל תתקעו ולא תריעו
7
But when the congregation is to be gathered together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm.

וּבְנֵ֤י אַהֲרֹן֙ הַכֹּ֣הֲנִ֔ים יִתְקְע֖וּ בַּֽחֲצֹצְר֑וֹת וְהָי֥וּ לָכֶ֛ם לְחֻקַּ֥ת עוֹלָ֖ם לְדֹרֹתֵיכֶֽם׃

καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ Ἀαρὼν οἱ ἱερεῖς σαλπιοῦσιν ταῖς σάλπιγξιν, καὶ ἔσται ὑμῖν νόμιμον αἰώνιον εἰς τὰς γενεὰς ὑμῶν

Fílii autem Aaron sacerdótes clangent tubis: erítque hoc legítimum sempitérnum in generatiónibus vestris.

ובני אהרן הכהנים יתקעו בחצצרות והיו לכם לחקות עולם לדרתיכם

And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for ever throughout your generations.

וְכִֽי־תָבֹ֨אוּ מִלְחָמָ֜ה בְּאַרְצְכֶ֗ם עַל הַ־צַּר֙ הַצֹּרֵ֣ר אֶתְכֶ֔ם וַהֲרֵעֹתֶ֖ם בַּחֲצֹצְר֑וֹת וֲנִזְכַּרְתֶּ֗ם לִפְנֵי֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם וְנוֹשַׁעְתֶּ֖ם מֵאֹיְבֵיכֶֽם׃

ἐὰν δὲ ἐξέλθητε εἰς πόλεμον ἐν τῇ γῇ ὑμῶν πρὸς τοὺς ὑπεναντίους τοὺς ἀνθεστηκότας ὑμῖν, καὶ σημανεῖτε ταῖς σάλπιγξιν, καὶ ἀναμνησθήσεσθε ἔναντι Κυρίου, καὶ διασωθήσεσθε ἀπὸ τῶν ἐχθρῶν ὑμῶν

Si exiéritis ad bellum de terra vestra contra hostes qui dímicant advérsum vos, clangétis ululántibus tubis, et erit recordátio vestri coram Dómino Deo vestro, ut eruámini de mánibus inimicórum vestrórum.

וכי־תבאו מלחמה בארצכם על הצר הצרר אתכם והרעתם בחצצרות ונזכרתם לפני יהוה אלהיכם ונושׁעתם מאיביכם

And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.

וּבְי֨וֹם שִׂמְחַתְכֶ֥ם וּֽבְמוֹעֲדֵיכֶם֮ וּבְרָאשֵׁ֣י חָדְשֵׁיכֶם֒ וּתְקַעְתֶּ֣ם בַּחֲצֹֽצְרֹ֗ת עַ֚ל עֹלֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם וְעַ֖ל זִבְחֵ֣י שַׁלְמֵיכֶ֑ם וְהָי֨וּ לָכֶ֤ם לְזִכָּרוֹן֙ לִפְנֵ֣י אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם אֲנִ֖י יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃ פ

καὶ ἐν ταῖς ἡμέραις τῆς εὐφροσύνης ὑμῶν καὶ ἐν ταῖς ἑορταῖς ὑμῶν καὶ ἐν ταῖς νουμηνίαις ὑμῶν σαλπιεῖτε ταῖς σάλπιγξιν ἐπὶ τοῖς ὁλοκαυτώμασιν καὶ ἐπὶ ταῖς θυσίαις τῶν σωτηρίων ὑμῶν, καὶ ἔσται ὑμῖν ἀνάμνησις ἔναντι τοῦ θεοῦ ὑμῶν · ἐγὼ Κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὑμῶν

Si quando habébitis épulum, et dies festos, et caléndas, canétis tubis super holocáustis, et pacíficis víctimis, ut sint vobis in recordatiónem Dei vestri. Ego Dóminus Deus vester.

וביום שׂמחתיכם ובמועדיכם ובראשׁי חדשׁיכם ותקעתם בחצצרות על עלתיכם ועל זבחי שׁלמיכם והיו לכם לזכרון לפני יהוה אלהיכם אני יהוה אלהיכם וידבר יהוה אל משׁה לאמר רב לכם שׁבת בהר הזה פנו וסעו לכם ובאו הר האמרי ואל כל שׁכינו בערבה בהר ובשׁפלה בנגב ובחוף הים ארץ הכנעני והלבנון עד הנהר הגדול נהר פרת ראו נתתי לפניכם את הארץ באו ורשׁו את הארץ אשׁר נשׁבעתי לאבתיכם לאברהם ליצחק וליעקב לתת לזרעם אחריהם

Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I [am] the LORD your God.

וַיְהִ֞י בַּשָּׁנָ֧ה הַשֵּׁנִ֛ית בַּחֹ֥דֶשׁ הַשֵּׁנִ֖י בְּעֶשְׂרִ֣ים בַּחֹ֑דֶשׁ נַעֲלָה֙ הֶֽעָנָ֔ן מֵעַ֖ל מִשְׁכַּ֥ן הָעֵדֻֽת׃
11
Καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ ἐνιαυτῷ τῷ δευτέρῳ ἐν τῷ μηνὶ τῷ δευτέρῳ εἰκάδι τοῦ μηνὸς ἀνέβη ἡ νεφέλη ἀπὸ τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου

Anno secúndo, mense secúndo, vigésima die mensis, eleváta est nubes de tabernáculo fœ́deris:

ויהי בשׁנה השׁנית בחדשׁ השׁני בעשׂרים בחדשׁ נעלה הענן מעל משׁכן העדות

And it came to pass on the twentieth [day] of the second month, in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from off the tabernacle of the testimony.

וַיִּסְע֧וּ בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל לְמַסְעֵיהֶ֖ם מִמִּדְבַּ֣ר סִינָ֑י וַיִּשְׁכֹּ֥ן הֶעָנָ֖ן בְּמִדְבַּ֥ר פָּארָֽן׃

καὶ ἐξῆραν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ σὺν ἀπαρτίαις αὐτῶν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ Σεινά · καὶ ἔστη ἡ νεφέλη ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ τοῦ Φαράν

profectíque sunt fílii Israel per turmas suas de desérto Sínai, et recúbuit nubes in solitúdine Pharan.

ויסעו בני־ישׂראל למסעיהם ממדבר סיני וישׁכן הענן במדבר פראן

And the children of Israel took their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran.

Moverúntque castra primi iuxta impérium Dómini in manu Móysi.

ויסעו בראישׁונה על־פי יהוה ביד־משׁה

And they first took their journey according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

In the first [place] went the standard of the camp of the children of Judah according to their armies: and over his host [was] Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

And the standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set forward according to their armies: and over his host [was] Elishama the son of Ammihud.

Καὶ ἐξαροῦσιν τάγμα παρεμβολῆς υἱῶν Δὰν ἔσχατοι πασῶν τῶν παρεμβολῶν σὺν δυνάμει αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐπὶ τῆς δυνάμεως αὐτῶν Ἀχιέζερ ὁ τοῦ Ἀμεισαδαί

καὶ εἶπεν Μὴ ἐγκαταλίπῃς ἡμᾶς, οὗ εἵνεκεν ἦσθα μεθ᾽ ἡμῶν ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ, καὶ ἔσῃ ἐν ἡμῖν πρεσβύτης

καὶ ἔσται ἐὰν πορευθῇς μεθ᾽ ἡmῶν, καὶ ἔσται τὰ ἀγαθὰ ἐκεῖνα ὅσα ἐὰν ἀγαθοποιήσῃ Κύριος ἡμᾶς, καὶ εὖ σε ποιήσομεν

והיה כי־תלך עמנו והיה הטוב ההוא אשׁר ייטב יהוה עמנו והטיבנו לך

And it shall be, if thou go with us, yea, it shall be, that what goodness the LORD shall do unto us, the same will we do unto thee.

Καὶ ἐξῆραν ἐκ τοῦ ὄρους Κυρίου ὁδὸν τριῶν ἡμερῶν · καὶ ἡ κιβωτὸς τῆς διαθήκης Κυρίου προεπορεύετο προτέρα αὐτῶν ὁδὸν τριῶν ἡμερῶν, κατασκέψασθαι αὐτοῖς ἀνάπαυσιν

καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ ἐξαίρειν τὴν κιβωτὸν καὶ εἶπεν Μωυσῆς Ἐξεγέρθητι Κύριε, διασκορπισθήτωσαν οἱ ἐχθροί σου, φυγέτωσαν πάντες οἱ μισοῦντές σε

Cumque elevarétur arca, dicébat Móyses: Surge Dómine, et dissipéntur inimíci tui, et fúgiant qui odérunt te, a fácie tua.

And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered; and let them that hate thee flee before thee.
