בֶּן־עֶשְׂרִ֨ים וְחָמֵ֤שׁ שָׁנָה֙ יוֹתָ֣ם בְּמָלְכ֔וֹ וְשֵׁשׁ־עֶשְׂרֵ֣ה שָׁנָ֔ה מָלַ֖ךְ בִּֽירוּשָׁלִָ֑ם וְשֵׁ֣ם אִמּ֔וֹ יְרוּשָׁ֖ה בַּת־צָדֽוֹק׃

Εἴκοσι πέντε ἐτῶν Ἰωαθὰμ ἐν τῷ βασιλεῦσαι αὐτόν, καὶ δέκα ἓξ ἔτη ἐβασίλευσεν ἐν Ἰερουσαλήμ, καὶ ὄνομα τῆς μητρὸς αὐτοῦ Ἰερουσσὰ θυγάτηρ Σαδώρ.

וַיַּ֨עַשׂ הַיָּשָׁ֜ר בְּעֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֗ה כְּכֹ֤ל אֲשֶׁר־עָשָׂה֙ עֻזִּיָּ֣הוּ אָבִ֔יו רַ֕ק לֹא־בָ֖א אֶל־הֵיכַ֣ל יְהוָ֑ה וְע֥וֹד הָעָ֖ם מַשְׁחִיתִֽים׃

καὶ ἐποίησεν τὸ εὐθὲς ἐνώπιον Κυρίου κατὰ πάντα ἃ ἐποίησεν Ὀζείας ὁ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ, ἀλλ᾽ οὐκ εἰσῆλθεν εἰς τὸν ναὸν Κυρίου, καὶ ἔτι ὁ λαὸς κατεφθείρετο.

αὐτὸς ᾠκοδόμησεν τὴν πύλην οἴκου Κυρίου τὴν ὑψηλήν, καὶ ἐν τείχει αὐτοῦ Ὄπλα ᾠκοδόμησεν πολλά ·

וְ֠הוּא נִלְחַ֞ם עִם־מֶ֣לֶךְ בְּנֵי־עַמּוֹן֮ וַיֶּחֱזַ֣ק עֲלֵיהֶם֒ וַיִּתְּנוּ ל֨־וֹ בְנֵֽי־עַמּ֜וֹן בַּשָּׁנָ֣ה הַהִ֗יא מֵאָה֙ כִּכַּר־כֶּ֔סֶף וַעֲשֶׂ֨רֶת אֲלָפִ֤ים כֹּרִים֙ חִטִּ֔ים וּשְׂעוֹרִ֖ים עֲשֶׂ֣רֶת אֲלָפִ֑ים זֹ֗את הֵשִׁ֤יבוּ לוֹ֙ בְּנֵ֣י עַמּ֔וֹן וּבַשָּׁנָ֥ה הַשֵּׁנִ֖ית וְהַשְּׁלִשִֽׁית׃ ס

αὐτὸς ἐμαχέσατο πρὸς βασιλέα υἱῶν Ἀμμὼν καὶ κατίσχυσεν ἐπ᾽ αὐτόν. καὶ ἐδίδουν αὐτῷ κατ᾽ ἐνιαυτὸν ἑκατὸν τάλαντα ἀργυρίου καὶ δέκα χιλιάδας κόρων πυροῦ καὶ κριθῶν δέκα χιλιάδας · ταῦτα ἔφερεν αὐτῷ βασιλεὺς Ἀμμὼν κατ᾽ ἐνιαυτὸν ἐν τῷ πρώτῳ ἔτει καὶ τῷ δευτέρῳ καὶ τῷ τρίτῳ.

Ipse pugnávit contra regem filiórum Ammon, et vicit eos, dederúntque ei fílii Ammon in témpore illo centum talénta argénti, et decem míllia coros trítici, ac tótidem coros hórdei: hæc ei præbuérunt fílii Ammon in anno secúndo et tértio.

καὶ οἱ λοιποὶ λόγοι Ἰωαθὰμ καὶ ὁ πόλεμος καὶ αἱ πράξεις αὐτοῦ, ἰδοὺ γεγραμμένοι ἐπὶ βιβλίῳ βασιλέων Ἰούδα καὶ Ἰσραήλ.
