אֵ֣לֶּה הַדְּבָרִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר דִּבֶּ֤ר מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶל־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בְּעֵ֖בֶר הַיַּרְדֵּ֑ן בַּמִּדְבָּ֡ר בָּֽעֲרָבָה֩ מ֨וֹל ס֜וּף בֵּֽין־פָּארָ֧ן וּבֵֽין־תֹּ֛פֶל וְלָבָ֥ן וַחֲצֵרֹ֖ת וְדִ֥י זָהָֽב׃

ΟΥΤΟΙ οἱ λόγοι οὓς ἐλάλησεν Μωυσῆς παντὶ Ἰσραὴλ πέραν τοῦ Ἰορδάνου ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ πρὸς δυσμαῖς πλησίον τῆς ἐρυθρᾶς ἀνὰ μέσον Φαρὰν Τόφολ καὶ Λοβὸν καὶ Αὐλῶν καὶ Καταχρύσεα ·

Hæc sunt verba, quæ locútus est Móyses ad omnem Israel trans Iordánem in solitúdine campéstri, contra mare Rubrum, inter Pharan et Tophel et Laban et Háseroth, ubi auri est plúrimum:

אלה הדברים אשׁר דבר משׁה אל־כל־ישׂראל בעבר הירדן במדבר בערבה מול סוף בין פראן ובין־תפל ולבן וחצרות ודי זהב

These [be] the words which Moses spake unto all Israel on this side Jordan in the wilderness, in the plain over against the Red [sea], between Paran, and Tophel, and Laban, and Hazeroth, and Dizahab.

And it came to pass in the fortieth year, in the eleventh month, on the first [day] of the month, [that] Moses spake unto the children of Israel, according unto all that the LORD had given him in commandment unto them;

μετὰ τὸ πατάξαι Σηὼν βασιλέα Ἀμορραίων τὸν κατοικήσαντα ἐν Ἑσεβὼν καὶ Ὢγ βασιλέα τῆς Βασὰν τὸν κατοικήσαντα ἐν Ἀσταρὼθ καὶ ἐν Ἐδράειν,

postquam percússit Sehon regem Amorrhæórum, qui habitábat in Hésebon, et Og regem Basan, qui mansit in Astaroth, et in Edrai,

After he had slain Sihon the king of the Amorites, which dwelt in Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, which dwelt at Astaroth in Edrei:

On this side Jordan, in the land of Moab, began Moses to declare this law, saying,

ἐπιστράφητε καὶ ἀπάρατε ὑμεῖς καὶ εἰσπορεύεσθε εἰς ὄρος Ἀμορραίων καὶ πρὸς πάντας τοὺς περιοίκους Ἀραβά, εἰς ὄρος καὶ πεδίον, καὶ πρὸς λίβα καὶ παραλίαν γῆν Χαναναίων καὶ Ἀντιλίβανον, ἕως τοῦ ποταμοῦ τοῦ μεγάλου Εὐφράτου.

revertímini, et veníte ad montem Amorrhæórum, et ad cétera quæ ei próxima sunt campéstria atque montána et humilióra loca contra merídiem, et iuxta littus maris, terram Chananæórum, et Líbani usque ad flumen magnum Euphráten.

פנו וסעו לכם ובאו הר האמרי ואל־כל שׁכינו בערבה בהר ובשׁפלה בנגב ובחוף הים ארץ הכנעני והלבנון עד הנהר הגדול נהר־פרת

Turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the Amorites, and unto all [the places] nigh thereunto, in the plain, in the hills, and in the vale, and in the south, and by the sea side, to the land of the Canaanites, and unto Lebanon, unto the great river, the river Euphrates.

ἴδετε παραδέδωκεν ἐνώπιον ὑμῶν τὴν γῆν · εἰσπορευθέντες κληρονομήσατε τὴν γῆν ἣν ὤμοσα τοῖς πατράσιν ὑμῶν, τῷ Ἀβραὰμ καὶ Ἰσαὰκ καὶ Ἰακώβ, δοῦναι αὐτοῖς καὶ τῷ σπέρματι αὐτῶν μετ᾽ αὐτούς.

En, inquit, trádidi vobis: ingredímini et possidéte eam, super qua iurávit Dóminus pátribus vestris Abraham, Isaac, et Iacob, ut daret illam eis, et sémini eórum post eos.

ראו נתתי לפניכם את הארץ באו ורשׁו את הארץ אשׁר נשׁבעתי לאבתיכם לאברהם ליצחק וליעקב לתת לזרעם אחריהם

Behold, I have set the land before you: go in and possess the land which the LORD sware unto your fathers, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give unto them and to their seed after them.

καὶ ἔλαβον ἐξ ὑμῶν ἄνδρας σοφοὺς καὶ ἐπιστήμονας καὶ συνετούς, καὶ κατέστησα αὐτοὺς ἡγεῖσθαι ἐφ᾽ ὑμῶν, χιλιάρχους καὶ ἑκατοντάρχους καὶ δεκαδάρχους καὶ γραμματοεισαγωγεῖς τοῖς κριταῖς ὑμῶν.

Tulíque de tríbubus vestris viros sapiéntes et nóbiles, et constítui eos príncipes, tribúnos, et centuriónes, et quinquagenários ac decános, qui docérent vos síngula.

ואקח את־ראשׁי שׁבטיכם אנשׁים חכמים וידעים ואתן אתם ראשׁים עליכם שׂרי אלפים ושׂרי מאות שׂרי חמשׁים ושׂרי עשׂרות ושׁטרים לשׁבטיכם

So I took the chief of your tribes, wise men, and known, and made them heads over you, captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, and captains over fifties, and captains over tens, and officers among your tribes.

וָאֲצַוֶּה֙ אֶת שֹׁ֣פְטֵי־כֶ֔ם בָּעֵ֥ת הַהִ֖וא לֵאמֹ֑ר שָׁמֹ֤עַ בֵּין אֲחֵי־כֶם֙ וּשְׁפַטְתֶּ֣ם צֶ֔דֶק בֵּֽין־אִ֥ישׁ וּבֵין אָחִ֖י־ו וּבֵ֥ין גֵּרֽוֹ׃

καὶ ἐνετειλάμην τοῖς κριταῖς ὑμῶν ἐν τῷ καιρῷ ἐκείνῳ λέγων Διακούετε ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ἀδελφῶν ὑμῶν, καὶ κρίνατε δικαίως ἀνὰ μέσον ἀνδρὸς καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον ἀδελφοῦ καὶ ἀνὰ μέσον προσηλύτου αὐτοῦ.

Præcepíque eis, dicens: Audíte illos, et quod iustum est iudicáte: sive civis sit ille, sive peregrínus.

ואצוה את שׁפטיכם בעת ההיא לאמר שׁמעו בין אחיכם ושׁפטתם צדק בין־אישׁ ובין אחיו ובין גרו

And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear [the causes] between your brethren, and judge righteously between [every] man and his brother, and the stranger [that is] with him.

לֹֽא־תַכִּ֨ירוּ פָנִ֜ים בַּמִּשְׁפָּ֗ט כַּקָּטֹ֤ן כַּגָּדֹל֙ תִּשְׁמָע֔וּן לֹ֤א תָג֨וּרוּ֙ מִפְּנֵי־אִ֔ישׁ כִּ֥י הַמִּשְׁפָּ֖ט לֵאלֹהִ֣ים ה֑וּא וְהַדָּבָר֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִקְשֶׁ֣ה מִכֶּ֔ם תַּקְרִב֥וּן אֵלַ֖י וּשְׁמַעְתִּֽיו׃

οὐκ ἐπιγνώσῃ πρόσωπον ἐν κρίσει · κατὰ τὸν μικρὸν καὶ κατὰ τὸν μέγαν κρινεῖς, οὐ μὴ ὑποστείλῃ πρόσωπον ἀνθρώπου, ὅτι ἡ κρίσις τοῦ θεοῦ ἐστίν · καὶ τὸ ῥῆμα ὃ ἐὰν σκληρὸν ᾖ ἀφ᾽ ὑμῶν, ἀνοίσετε αὐτὸ ἐπ᾽ ἐμέ, καὶ ἀκούσομαι ὑμῶν.

Nulla erit distántia personárum: ita parvum audiétis ut magnum, nec accipiétis cuiúsquam persónam, quia Dei iudícium est. Quod si diffícile vobis visum áliquid fúerit, reférte ad me, et ego áudiam.

לא־תכירו פנים במשׁפט כקטן כגדול תשׁמעון לא תגורו מפני־אישׁ כי המשׁפט לאלהים הוא והדבר אשׁר יקשׁה מכם תקריבון אלי ושׁמעתיו

Ye shall not respect persons in judgment; [but] ye shall hear the small as well as the great; ye shall not be afraid of the face of man; for the judgment [is] God’s: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring [it] unto me, and I will hear it.

ויצא העמלקי והכנעני הישׁב בהר ההוא לקראתכם וירדפו אתכם כאשׁר תעשׂינה הדברים ויכתו אתכם בשׂעיר עד־חרמה

And the Amorites, which dwelt in that mountain, came out against you, and chased you, as bees do, and destroyed you in Seir, [even] unto Hormah.
