וַֽיִּקְרְב֞וּ רָאשֵׁ֣י הָֽאָב֗וֹת לְמִשְׁפַּ֤חַת בְּנֵֽי־גִלְעָד֙ בֶּן־מָכִ֣יר בֶּן־מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה מִֽמִּשְׁפְּחֹ֖ת בְּנֵ֣י יוֹסֵ֑ף וַֽיְדַבְּר֞וּ לִפְנֵ֤י מֹשֶׁה֙ וְלִפְנֵ֣י הַנְּשִׂאִ֔ים רָאשֵׁ֥י אָב֖וֹת לִבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

Καὶ προσῆλθον οἱ ἄρχοντες φυλῆς υἱῶν Γαλαὰδ υἱοῦ Μαχεὶρ υἱοῦ Μανασσὴ ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς υἱῶν Ἰωσήφ, καὶ ἐλάλησαν ἔναντι Μωυσῆ καὶ ἔναντι Ἐλεαζὰρ τοῦ ἱερέως καὶ ἔναντι τῶν ἀρχόντων οἴκων πατριῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ ·

Accessérunt autem et príncipes familiárum Gálaad fílii Machir fílii Manásse, de stirpe filiórum Ioseph: locutíque sunt Móysi coram princípibus Israel, atque dixérunt:

ויקרבו ראשׁי האבות למשׁפחות בני־גלעד בן־מכיר בן־מנשׁה ממשׁפחות בני יוסף וידברו לפני משׁה ולפני הנשׂיאים ראשׁי האבות לבני ישׂראל

And the chief fathers of the families of the children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near, and spake before Moses, and before the princes, the chief fathers of the children of Israel:

וַיֹּאמְר֗וּ אֶת אֲדֹנִ־י֙ צִוָּ֣ה יְהוָ֔ה לָתֵ֨ת אֶת הָ־אָ֧רֶץ בְּנַחֲלָ֛ה בְּגוֹרָ֖ל לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וַֽאדֹנִי֙ צֻוָּ֣ה בַֽיהוָ֔ה לָתֵ֗ת אֶֽת־נַחֲלַ֛ת צְלָפְחָ֥ד אָחִ֖ינוּ לִבְנֹתָֽיו׃

καὶ εἶπαν Τῷ κυρίῳ ἡμῶν ἐνετείλατο Κύριος ἀποδοῦναι τὴν γῆν τῆς κληρονομίας ἐν κλήρῳ τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραήλ, καὶ τῷ κυρίῳ συνέταξεν Κύριος δοῦναι τὴν κληρονομίαν Σαλπαὰδ τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ ἡμῶν ταῖς θυγατράσιν αὐτοῦ ·

Tibi dómino nostro præcépit Dóminus ut terram sorte divíderes fíliis Israel, et ut filiábus Sálphaad fratris nostri dares possessiónem débitam patri:

ויאמרו את אדני צוה יהוה לתת את הארץ בנחלה בגורל לבני ישׂראל ואדני צוה ביהוה לתת את־נחלת צלפחד אחינו לבנתיו

And they said, The LORD commanded my lord to give the land for an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel: and my lord was commanded by the LORD to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother unto his daughters.

ויואמרו את אדונ׳י צ]ו#?ה יהוה לתת את[ הארץ בנחלה בגורל לבני] ׃

וְ֠הָיוּ לְאֶחָ֞ד מִבְּנֵ֨י שִׁבְטֵ֥י בְנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֮ לְנָשִׁים֒ וְנִגְרְעָ֤ה נַחֲלָתָן֙ מִנַּחֲלַ֣ת אֲבֹתֵ֔ינוּ וְנוֹסַ֕ף עַ֚ל נַחֲלַ֣ת הַמַּטֶּ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר תִּהְיֶ֖ינָה לָהֶ֑ם וּמִגֹּרַ֥ל נַחֲלָתֵ֖נוּ יִגָּרֵֽעַ׃

καὶ ἔσονται ἑνὶ τῶν φυλῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ γυναῖκες, καὶ ἀφαιρεθήσεται ὁ κλῆρος αὐτῶν ἐκ τῆς κατασχέσεως τῶν πατέρων ἡμῶν, καὶ προστεθήσεται εἰς κληρονομίαν τῆς φυλῆς οἷς ἂν γένωνται γυναῖκες, καὶ ἐκ τοῦ κλήρου τῆς κληρονομίας ἡμῶν ἀφαιρεθήσεται.

quas si altérius tribus hómines uxóres accéperint, sequétur posséssio sua, et transláta ad áliam tribum, de nostra hereditáte minuétur.

והיו לאחד מבני שׁבטי בני־ישׂראל לנשׁים ונגרעה נחלתן מנחלת אבתינו ונוספה על נחלת המטה אשׁר תהיינה להם ומגורל נחלתנו יגרע
3
And if they be married to any of the sons of the [other] tribes of the children of Israel, then shall their inheritance be taken from the inheritance of our fathers, and shall be put to the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are received: so shall it be taken from the lot of our inheritance.

וְאִם־יִהְיֶ֣ה הַיֹּבֵל֮ לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ וְנֽוֹסְפָה֙ נַחֲלָתָ֔ן עַ֚ל נַחֲלַ֣ת הַמַּטֶּ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר תִּהְיֶ֖ינָה לָהֶ֑ם וּמִֽנַּחֲלַת֙ מַטֵּ֣ה אֲבֹתֵ֔ינוּ יִגָּרַ֖ע נַחֲלָתָֽן׃
4
ἐὰν δὲ γένηται ἡ ἄφεσις τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ, καὶ προστεθήσεται ἡ κληρονομία αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὴν κληρονομίαν τῆς φυλῆς οἷς ἂν γένωνται γυναῖκες, ἀπὸ τῆς κληρονομίας φυλῆς πατριᾶς ἡμῶν ἀφαιρεθήσεται ἡ κληρονομία αὐτῶν.

Atque ita fiet, ut cum iubilǽus, id est, quinquagésimus annus remissiónis advénerit, confundátur sórtium distribútio, et aliórum posséssio ad álios tránseat.

ואם־יהיה היובל לבני ישׂראל ונוספה נחלתן על נחלת המטה אשׁר תהיינה להם ומנחלת מטה אבתינו יגרע נחלתן
4
And when the jubile of the children of Israel shall be, then shall their inheritance be put unto the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they are received: so shall their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers.

וַיְצַ֤ו מֹשֶׁה֙ אֶת־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל עַל־פִּ֥י יְהוָ֖ה לֵאמֹ֑ר כֵּ֛ן מַטֵּ֥ה בְנֵֽי־יוֹסֵ֖ף דֹּבְרִֽים׃

καὶ ἐνετείλατο Μωυσῆς τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραὴλ διὰ προστάγματος Κυρίου λέγων Οὕτως φυλὴ υἱῶν Ἰωσὴφ λέγουσιν.

Respóndit Móyses fíliis Israel, et Dómino præcipiénte ait: Recte tribus filiórum Ioseph locúta est.

ויצו משׁה את־בני ישׂראל על־פי יהוה לאמר כן מטה בני־יוסף דברים

And Moses commanded the children of Israel according to the word of the LORD, saying, The tribe of the sons of Joseph hath said well.

זֶ֣ה הַדָּבָ֞ר אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֣ה יְהוָ֗ה לִבְנ֤וֹת צְלָפְחָד֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר לַטּ֥וֹב בְּעֵינֵיהֶ֖ם תִּהְיֶ֣ינָה לְנָשִׁ֑ים אַ֗ךְ לְמִשְׁפַּ֛חַת מַטֵּ֥ה אֲבִיהֶ֖ם תִּהְיֶ֥ינָה לְנָשִֽׁים׃

τοῦτο τὸ ῥῆμα ὃ συνέταξεν Κύριος ταῖς θυγατράσιν Σαλπαὰδ λέγων Οὗ ἀρέσκει ἐναντίον αὐτῶν ἔστωσαν γυναῖκες, πλὴν ἐκ τοῦ δήμου τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν ἔστωσαν γυναῖκες.

Et hæc lex super filiábus Sálphaad a Dómino promulgáta est: nubant quibus volunt, tantum ut suæ tribus homínibus:

זה הדבר אשׁר־צוה יהוה לבנות צלפחד לאמר לטוב בעיניהם תהינה לנשׁים אך למשׁפחת מטה אביהן תהינה לנשׁים
6
This [is] the thing which the LORD doth command concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them marry to whom they think best; only to the family of the tribe of their father shall they marry.

וְלֹֽא־תִסֹּ֤ב נַחֲלָה֙ לִבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מִמַּטֶּ֖ה אֶל־מַטֶּ֑ה כִּ֣י אִ֗ישׁ בְּנַחֲלַת֙ מַטֵּ֣ה אֲבֹתָ֔יו יִדְבְּק֖וּ בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

καὶ οὐχὶ περιστραφήσεται κληρονομία τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραὴλ ἀπὸ φυλῆς ἐπὶ φυλήν, ὅτι ἕκαστος ἐν τῇ κληρονομίᾳ τῆς φυλῆς τῆς πατριᾶς αὐτοῦ καὶ προσκολληθήσονται υἱοὶ Ἰσραήλ.

ne commisceátur posséssio filiórum Israel de tribu in tribum. Omnes enim viri ducent uxóres de tribu et cognatióne sua:

ולא תסוב נחלה לבני ישׂראל ממטה אל־מטה כי אישׁ בנחלת מטה אבתיו ידבקו בני ישׂראל
7
So shall not the inheritance of the children of Israel remove from tribe to tribe: for every one of the children of Israel shall keep himself to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.

וְכָל־בַּ֞ת יֹרֶ֣שֶׁת נַחֲלָ֗ה מִמַּטּוֹת֮ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ לְאֶחָ֗ד מִמִּשְׁפַּ֛חַת מַטֵּ֥ה אָבִ֖יהָ תִּהְיֶ֣ה לְאִשָּׁ֑ה לְמַ֗עַן יִֽירְשׁוּ֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אִ֖ישׁ נַחֲלַ֥ת אֲבֹתָֽיו׃

καὶ πᾶσα θυγάτηρ ἀγχιστεύουσα κληρονομίαν ἐκ τῶν φυλῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ, ἑνὶ τῶν ἐκ τοῦ δήμου τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῆς ἔσονται γυναῖκες, ἵνα ἀγχιστεύσωσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ ἕκαστος τὴν κληρονομίαν τὴν πατρικήν ·

et cunctæ féminæ de eádem tribu marítos accípient: ut heréditas permáneat in famíliis,

וכל־בת ירשׁת נחלה ממטות בני ישׂראל לאחד ממשׁפחת מטה אביה תהיה לאשׁה למען יירשׁו בני ישׂראל אישׁ את נחלת אבתיו
8
And every daughter, that possesseth an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel, shall be wife unto one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may enjoy every man the inheritance of his fathers.

καὶ οὐ περιστραφήσεται κλῆρος ἐκ φυλῆς ἐπὶ φυλὴν ἑτέραν, ἀλλὰ ἕκαστος ἐν τῇ κληρονομίᾳ αὐτοῦ προσκολληθήσονται οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραήλ.

nec sibi misceántur tribus, sed ita máneant

ולא־תסב נחלה ממטה אל מטה אחר כי־אישׁ בנחלתו ידבקו מטות בני ישׂראל
9
Neither shall the inheritance remove from [one] tribe to another tribe; but every one of the tribes of the children of Israel shall keep himself to his own inheritance.

Even as the LORD commanded Moses, so did the daughters of Zelophehad:

וַתִּהְיֶ֜ינָה מַחְלָ֣ה תִרְצָ֗ה וְחָגְלָ֧ה וּמִלְכָּ֛ה וְנֹעָ֖ה בְּנ֣וֹת צְלָפְחָ֑ד לִבְנֵ֥י דֹדֵיהֶ֖ן לְנָשִֽׁים׃

καὶ ἐγένοντο Θερσὰ καὶ Ἑγλὰ καὶ Μελχὰ καὶ Νουὰ καὶ Μααλὰ θυγατέρες Σαλπαὰδ τοῖς ἀνεψιοῖς αὐτῶν ·

et nupsérunt Máala, et Thersa, et Hegla, et Melcha, et Noa fíliis pátrui sui

ותהיינה מחלה ונעה חגלה מלכה ותרצה בנות צלפחד לבני דדיהן לנשׁים

For Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married unto their father ’s brothers ’ sons:

ἐκ τοῦ δήμου τοῦ Μανασσὴ υἱῶν Ἰωσὴφ ἐγενήθησαν γυναῖκες · καὶ ἐγένετο ἡ κληρονομία αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὴν φυλὴν δήμου τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν.

de família Manásse, qui fuit fílius Ioseph: et posséssio, quæ illis fúerat attribúta, mansit in tribu et família patris eárum.

ממשׁפחות בני־מנשׁה בן־יוסף היו לנשׁים ותהי נחלתן על־מטה משׁפחת אביהן

[And] they were married into the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father.

אֵ֣לֶּה הַמִּצְוֺ֞ת וְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר צִוָּ֧ה יְהוָ֛ה בְּיַד־מֹשֶׁ֖ה אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל בְּעַֽרְבֹ֣ת מוֹאָ֔ב עַ֖ל יַרְדֵּ֥ן יְרֵחֽוֹ׃

αὗται αἱ ἐντολαὶ καὶ τὰ δικαιώματα καὶ τὰ κρίματα ἃ ἐνετείλατο Κύριος ἐν χειρὶ Μωυσῆ ἐπὶ δυσμῶν Μωὰβ ἐπὶ τοῦ Ἰορδάνου κατὰ Ἰερειχώ.

Hæc sunt mandáta atque iudícia, quæ mandávit Dóminus per manum Móysi ad fílios Israel, in campéstribus Moab supra Iordánem contra Iéricho.

אלה המצות והמשׁפטים אשׁר צוה יהוה ביד־משׁה אל־בני ישׂראל בערבת מואב על ירדן יריחו

These [are] the commandments and the judgments, which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses unto the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by Jordan [near] Jericho.
