אֵ֠לֶּה הַֽחֻקִּ֣ים וְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִים֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּשְׁמְר֣וּן לַעֲשׂוֹת֒ בָּאָ֕רֶץ אֲשֶׁר֩ נָתַ֨ן יְהוָ֜ה אֱלֹהֵ֧י אֲבֹתֶ֛יךָ לְךָ֖ לְרִשְׁתָּ֑הּ כָּל הַ־יָּמִ֔ים אֲשֶׁר־אַתֶּ֥ם חַיִּ֖ים עַל הָ־אֲדָמָֽה׃

Καὶ ταῦτα τὰ προστάγματα καὶ αἱ κρίσεις ἃς φυλάξετε τοῦ ποιεῖν ἐν τῇ γῇ, ᾗ Κύριος ὁ θεὸς τῶν πατέρων ἡμῶν δίδωσιν ὑμῖν ἐν κλήρῳ πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας ἃς ὑμεῖς ζῆτε ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς.

Hæc sunt præcépta atque iudícia, quæ fácere debétis in terra, quam Dóminus Deus patrum tuórum datúrus est tibi, ut possídeas eam cunctis diébus, quibus super humum gradiéris.

אלה החקים והמשׁפטים אשׁר תשׁמרו לעשׂות בארץ אשׁר נתן יהוה אלהי אבתיך לך לרשׁתה כל הימים אשׁר־אתם חיים על האדמה

These [are] the statutes and judgments, which ye shall observe to do in the land, which the LORD God of thy fathers giveth thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth.

ואל[ה החקים] [והמשפטים אשר תשמרו׳ן] לעש#ו[ת ב]א#ר#ץ# א#ש#ר# נתן י[הוה אלהי] [אבתי׳ך ל׳ך לרשת׳ה כל הימים ε ] # # [ ε ׃

אַבֵּ֣ד תְּ֠אַבְּדוּן אֶֽת־כָּל הַ־מְּקֹמ֞וֹת אֲשֶׁ֧ר עָֽבְדוּ־שָׁ֣ם הַגּוֹיִ֗ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר אַתֶּ֛ם יֹרְשִׁ֥ים אֹתָ֖ם אֶת אֱלֹהֵי־הֶ֑ם עַל הֶ־הָרִ֤ים הָֽרָמִים֙ וְעַל הַ־גְּבָע֔וֹת וְתַ֖חַת כָּל־עֵ֥ץ רַעֲנָן׃

ἀπωλίᾳ ἀπολεῖτε πάντας τοὺς τόπους ἐν οἷς ἐλάτρευσαν ἐκεῖ τοῖς θεοῖς αὐτῶν, οὓς ὑμεῖς κληρονομεῖτε αὐτούς, ἐπὶ τῶν ὀρέων τῶν ὑψηλῶν καὶ ἐπὶ τῶν θινῶν καὶ ὑποκάτω δένδρου δασέος ·

Subvértite ómnia loca, in quibus coluérunt gentes, quas possessúri estis, deos suos super montes excélsos, et colles, et subter omne lignum frondósum.

אבד תאבדון את־כל המקומות אשׁר עבדו־שׁם הגוים אשׁר אתם ירשׁים אתם את אלהיהם על ההרים הרמים ועל הגבעות ותחת כל־עץ רענן

Ye shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations which ye shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree:

וְנִתַּצְתֶּ֣ם אֶת מִזְבּחֹתָ֗־ם וְשִׁבַּרְתֶּם֙ אֶת מַצֵּ֣בֹתָ֔־ם וַאֲשֵֽׁרֵיהֶם֙ תִּשְׂרְפ֣וּן בָּאֵ֔שׁ וּפְסִילֵ֥י אֱלֹֽהֵיהֶ֖ם תְּגַדֵּע֑וּן וְאִבַּדְתֶּ֣ם אֶת שְׁמָ֔־ם מִן הַ־מָּק֖וֹם הַהֽוּא׃

καὶ κατασκάψατε τοὺς βωμοὺς αὐτῶν, καὶ συντρίψετε τὰς στήλας αὐτῶν, καὶ τὰ ἄλση αὐτῶν ἐκκόψετε, καὶ τὰ γλυπτὰ τῶν θεῶν αὐτῶν κατακαύσατε πυρί · καὶ ἀπολεῖται τὸ ὄνομα αὐτῶν ἐκ τοῦ τόπου ἐκείνου.

Dissipáte aras eórum, et confríngite státuas: lucos igne combúrite, et idóla comminúite: dispérdite nómina eórum de locis illis.

ונתצתם את מזבחתיהם ושׁברתם את מצבתיהם ואשׁריהם תשׂרפון באשׁ ופסילי אלהיהם תגדעון ואבדתם את שׁמם מן המקום ההוא

And ye shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars, and burn their groves with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.

ונתצתם את מזבחת׳ם] [ושברתם את ]מ#צבותי׳הם ואשר#[י׳הם תש]ר##[פו׳ן באש ופסילי אלהי׳הם] [תגדעו׳ן ואב]דתם את שמ##׳ם## מ#ן ה##מקום ההו[א ׃

לֹֽא תַעֲשׂ֣וּ־ן כֵּ֔ן לַיהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶֽם׃

οὐ ποιήσετε οὕτως Κυρίῳ τῷ θεῷ ὑμῶν ·

Non faciétis ita Dómino Deo vestro:

לא תעשׂו כן ליהוה אלהיכם

Ye shall not do so unto the LORD your God.

לא תעשו׳ן כן ליהוה] [אלהי׳כם ׃

כִּ֠י אִֽם־אֶל הַ־מָּק֞וֹם אֲשֶׁר־יִבְחַ֨ר יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם֙ מִכָּל שִׁבְטֵי־כֶ֔ם לָשׂ֥וּם אֶת שְׁמ֖־וֹ שָׁ֑ם לְשִׁכְנ֥וֹ תִדְרְשׁ֖וּ וּבָ֥אתָ שָֽׁמָּה׃

ἀλλ᾽ ἢ εἰς τὸν τόπον ὃν ἂν ἐκλέξηται Κύριος ὁ θεός σου ἐν μιᾷ τῶν πόλεων ὑμῶν, ἐπονομάσαι τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ἐκεῖ ἐπικληθῆναι, καὶ ἐκζητήσατε ἐκεῖ ·

sed ad locum, quem elégerit Dóminus Deus vester de cunctis tríbubus vestris, ut ponat nomen suum ibi, et hábitet in eo, veniétis:

כי אם־אל המקום אשׁר בחר יהוה אלהיכם מכל שׁבטיכם לשׂים את שׁמו שׁם לשׁכינו תדרשׁו ובאתם שׁם

But unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your tribes to put his name there, [even] unto his habitation shall ye seek, and thither thou shalt come:

כי אם־אל ה]מ#קום אשר־[יב]חר יהוה אל[הי׳כם מכל] ׃

וַהֲבֵאתֶ֣ם שָׁ֗מָּה עֹלֹֽתֵיכֶם֙ וְזִבְחֵיכֶ֔ם וְאֵת֙ מַעְשְׂרֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם וְאֵ֖ת תְּרוּמַ֣ת יֶדְכֶ֑ם וְנִדְרֵיכֶם֙ וְנִדְבֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם וּבְכֹרֹ֥ת בְּקַרְכֶ֖ם וְצֹאנְכֶֽם׃

καὶ οἴσετε τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα ὑμῶν, καὶ τὰς ὁμολογίας ὑμῶν, τὰ πρωτότοκα τῶν βοῶν ὑμῶν καὶ τῶν προβάτων ὑμῶν ·

et offerétis in loco illo holocáusta et víctimas vestras, décimas et primítias mánuum vestrárum, et vota atque donária, primogénita boum et óvium.

והבאתם שׁמה עלתיכם וזבחיכם ואת מעשׂרתיכם ואת תרומתיכם ונדריכם ונדבתיכם ובכורת בקרכם וצאנכם

And thither ye shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks:

וַאֲכַלְתֶּם־שָׁ֗ם לִפְנֵי֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם וּשְׂמַחְתֶּ֗ם בְּכֹל֙ מִשְׁלַ֣ח יֶדְכֶ֔ם אַתֶּ֖ם וּבָתֵּיכֶ֑ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר בֵּֽרַכְךָ֖ יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃

καὶ φάγεσθε ἐκεῖ ἐναντίον Κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ ὑμῶν, καὶ εὐφρανθήσεσθε ἐπὶ πᾶσιν οὗ ἂν τὴν χεῖρα ἐπιβάλητε, ὑμεῖς καὶ οἱ οἶκοι ὑμῶν, καθότι εὐλόγησέν σε Κύριος ὁ θεός σου.

Et comedétis ibi in conspéctu Dómini Dei vestri: ac lætabímini in cunctis, ad quæ miséritis manum vos et domus vestræ, in quibus benedíxerit vobis Dóminus Deus vester.

ואכלתם־שׁם לפני יהוה אלהיכם ושׂמחתם בכל משׁלח ידיכם אתם ובתיכם אשׁר ברכך יהוה אלהיך

And there ye shall eat before the LORD your God, and ye shall rejoice in all that ye put your hand unto, ye and your households, wherein the LORD thy God hath blessed thee.

לֹ֣א תַעֲשׂ֔וּן כְּ֠כֹל אֲשֶׁ֨ר אֲנַ֧חְנוּ עֹשִׂ֛ים פֹּ֖ה הַיּ֑וֹם אִ֖ישׁ כָּל הַ־יָּשָׁ֥ר בְּעֵינָֽיו׃

οὐ ποιήσετε πάντα ἃ ἡμεῖς ποιοῦμεν ὧδε σήμερον, ἕκαστος τὸ ἀρεστὸν ἐνώπιον αὐτοῦ ·

Non faciétis ibi quæ nos hic fácimus hódie, sínguli quod sibi rectum vidétur.

לא תעשׂו ככל אשׁר אנחנו עשׂים פה היום אישׁ כל הישׁר בעיניו

Ye shall not do after all [the things] that we do here this day, every man whatsoever [is] right in his own eyes.

כִּ֥י לֹא־בָּאתֶ֖ם עַד־עָ֑תָּה אֶל הַ־מְּנוּחָה֙ וְאֶל הַֽ־נַּחֲלָ֔ה אֲשֶׁר־יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ נֹתֵ֥ן לָֽךְ׃

οὐ γὰρ ἥκατε ἕως τοῦ νῦν εἰς τὴν κατάπαυσιν καὶ εἰς τὴν κληρονομίαν ἣν Κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν δίδωσιν ὑμῖν.

Neque enim usque in præsens tempus venístis ad réquiem, et possessiónem, quam Dóminus Deus vester datúrus est vobis.

כי לא־באתם עד־עתה אל המנוחה ואל הנחלה אשׁר־יהוה אלהיכם נתן לכם

For ye are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance, which the LORD your God giveth you.

וַעֲבַרְתֶּם֮ אֶת הַ־יַּרְדֵּן֒ וִֽישַׁבְתֶּ֣ם בָּאָ֔רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֖ם מַנְחִ֣יל אֶתְכֶ֑ם וְהֵנִ֨יחַ לָכֶ֧ם מִכָּל אֹיְבֵי־כֶ֛ם מִסָּבִ֖יב וִֽישַׁבְתֶּם־בֶּֽטַח׃

καὶ διαβήσεσθε τὸν Ἰορδάνην, καὶ κατοικήσετε ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἧς Κύριος ὁ θεὸς ἡμῶν κατακληρονομεῖ ὑμῖν, καὶ καταπαύσει ὑμᾶς ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἐχθρῶν ὑμῶν τῶν κύκλῳ, καὶ κατοικήσετε μετὰ ἀσφαλίας.

Transíbitis Iordánem, et habitábitis in terra, quam Dóminus Deus vester datúrus est vobis, ut requiescátis a cunctis hóstibus per circúitum: et absque ullo timóre habitétis

ועברתם את הירדן וישׁבתם בארץ אשׁר־יהוה אלהיכם מנחיל אתכם והניח לכם מכל איביכם מסביב וישׁבתם־בטח

But [when] ye go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the LORD your God giveth you to inherit, and [when] he giveth you rest from all your enemies round about, so that ye dwell in safety;

וְהָיָ֣ה הַמָּק֗וֹם אֲשֶׁר־יִבְחַר֩ יְהוָ֨ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֥ם בּוֹ֙ לְשַׁכֵּ֤ן שְׁמוֹ֙ שָׁ֔ם שָׁ֣מָּה תָבִ֔יאוּ אֵ֛ת כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָנֹכִ֖י מְצַוֶּ֣ה אֶתְכֶ֑ם עוֹלֹתֵיכֶ֣ם וְזִבְחֵיכֶ֗ם מַעְשְׂרֹֽתֵיכֶם֙ וּתְרֻמַ֣ת יֶדְכֶ֔ם וְכֹל֙ מִבְחַ֣ר נִדְרֵיכֶ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר תִּדְּר֖וּ לַֽיהוָֽה׃

καὶ ἔσται ὁ τόπος ὃν ἂν ἐκλέξηται Κύριος ὁ θεός σου ἐπικληθῆναι τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ἐκεῖ, οἴσετε πάντα ὅσα ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαι ὑμῖν σήμερον, τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα ὑμῶν καὶ τὰ θυσιάσματα ὑμῶν, καὶ τὰ ἐπιδέκατα ὑμῶν καὶ τὰς ἀπαρχὰς τῶν χειρῶν ὑμῶν, καὶ πᾶν ἐκλεκτὸν τῶν δώρων ὑμῶν ὅσα ἐὰν εὔξησθε τῷ θεῷ ·

in loco, quem elégerit Dóminus Deus vester, ut sit nomen eius in eo: illuc ómnia, quæ præcípio, conferétis, holocáusta, et hóstias, ac décimas, et primítias mánuum vestrárum: et quidquid præcípuum est in munéribus, quæ vovébitis Dómino.

והיה המקום אשׁר בחר יהוה אלהיכם בו לשׁכן את שׁמו שׁם שׁמה תביאו את כל־אשׁר אנכי מצוה אתכם עלתיכם וזבחיכם ומעשׂרתיכם ותרומתיכם ונדבתיכם וכל מבחר נדריכם אשׁר תדרו ליהוה

Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to cause his name to dwell there; thither shall ye bring all that I command you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering of your hand, and all your choice vows which ye vow unto the LORD:

[והיה המקום אשר־יבחר יהוה אלהי׳כ]ם## ב׳ו ל[שכן שמ׳ו שם שמ׳ה תביאו את] [כל־אשר אנכי מצוה את׳כם עולתי׳כם ]וזבחי׳כ##ם##[ מעשרתי׳כם ותרמת יד׳כם] [וכל מבחר נדרי]׳כם אשר תדרו#?[ ליהוה ׃

וּשְׂמַחְתֶּ֗ם לִפְנֵי֮ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶם֒ אַתֶּ֗ם וּבְנֵיכֶם֙ וּבְנֹ֣תֵיכֶ֔ם וְעַבְדֵיכֶ֖ם וְאַמְהֹתֵיכֶ֑ם וְהַלֵּוִי֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּשַֽׁעֲרֵיכֶ֔ם כִּ֣י אֵ֥ין ל֛וֹ חֵ֥לֶק וְנַחֲלָ֖ה אִתְּכֶֽם׃

καὶ εὐφρανθήσεσθε ἐναντίον Κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ ὑμῶν, ὑμεῖς καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ ὑμῶν καὶ αἱ θυγατέρες ὑμῶν, οἱ παῖδες ὑμῶν καὶ αἱ παιδίσκαι ὑμῶν, καὶ ὁ Λευείτης ὁ ἐπὶ τῶν πυλῶν ὑμῶν, ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν αὐτῷ μερὶς οὐδὲ κλῆρος μεθ᾽ ὑμῶν.

Ibi epulabímini coram Dómino Deo vestro, vos et fílii ac fíliæ vestræ, fámuli et fámulæ, atque Levítes, qui in úrbibus vestris commorátur: neque enim habet áliam partem et possessiónem inter vos.

ושׂמחתם לפני יהוה אלהיכם אתם ובניכם ובנתיכם עבדיכם ואמתיכם והלוי אשׁר בשׁעריכם כי אין לו חלק ונחלה אתכם

And ye shall rejoice before the LORD your God, ye, and your sons, and your daughters, and your menservants, and your maidservants, and the Levite that [is] within your gates; forasmuch as he hath no part nor inheritance with you.

4Q45 · f17

ושמחתם לפני יהוה אלהי׳כם אתם] [ובני׳כם ובנתי׳כם ε ] # # ם#[ ε אשר בשערי׳כם כי אין ל׳ו חלק] ׃

הִשָּׁ֣מֶר לְךָ֔ פֶּֽן־תַּעֲלֶ֖ה עֹלֹתֶ֑יךָ בְּכָל־מָק֖וֹם אֲשֶׁ֥ר תִּרְאֶֽה׃

πρόσεχε σεαυτῷ μὴ ἀνενέγκῃς τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματά σου ἐν παντὶ τόπῳ οὗ ἐὰν ἴδῃς,

Cave ne ófferas holocáusta tua in omni loco, quem víderis:

השׁמר לך פן־תעלה עלתיך בכל המקום אשׁר תראה

Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:

כִּ֣י אִם בַּ־מָּק֞וֹם אֲשֶׁר־יִבְחַ֤ר יְהוָה֙ בְּאַחַ֣ד שְׁבָטֶ֔יךָ שָׁ֖ם תַּעֲלֶ֣ה עֹלֹתֶ֑יךָ וְשָׁ֣ם תַּעֲשֶׂ֔ה כֹּ֛ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָנֹכִ֖י מְצַוֶּֽךָּ׃

ἀλλ᾽ ἢ εἰς τὸν τόπον ὃν ἂν ἐκλέξηται Κύριος ὁ θεός σου αὐτὸν ἐν μιᾷ τῶν φυλῶν σου · ἐκεῖ ἀνοίσετε τὰ ὁλοκαυτώματα ὑμῶν, καὶ ἐκεῖ ποιήσεις πάντα ὅσα ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαί σοι σήμερον.

sed in eo, quem elégerit Dóminus, in una tríbuum tuárum ófferes hóstias, et fácies quæcúmque præcípio tibi.

כי אם במקום אשׁר בחר יהוה באחד שׁבטיך שׁם תעלה עלתיך ושׁם תעשׂה את כל אשׁר אנכי מצוך

But in the place which the LORD shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee.

[כי]א# אם ב[מקום אשר־יבחר יהוה באחד שבטי׳כה ε ׃

רַק֩ בְּכָל־אַוַּ֨ת נַפְשְׁךָ֜ תִּזְבַּ֣ח ׀ וְאָכַלְתָּ֣ בָשָׂ֗ר כְּבִרְכַּ֨ת יְהוָ֧ה אֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר נָֽתַן לְ־ךָ֖ בְּכָל שְׁעָרֶ֑י־ךָ הַטָּמֵ֤א וְהַטָּהוֹר֙ יֹאכְלֶ֔נּוּ כַּצְּבִ֖י וְכָאַיָּֽל׃

ἀλλ᾽ ἢ ἐν πάσῃ ἐπιθυμίᾳ σου θύσεις καὶ φάγῃ κρέα κατὰ τὴν εὐλογίαν Κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου ἣν ἔδωκέν σοι ἐν πάσῃ πόλει · ὁ ἀκάθαρτος ἐν σοὶ καὶ ὁ καθαρὸς ἐπὶ τὸ αὐτό φάγεται αὐτό, ὡς δορκάδα ἤ ἔλαφον ·

Sin autem comédere volúeris, et te esus cárnium delectáverit, occíde, et cómede iuxta benedictiónem Dómini Dei tui, quam dedit tibi in úrbibus tuis: sive immúndum fúerit, hoc est, maculátum et débile: sive mundum, hoc est, íntegrum et sine mácula, quod offérri licet, sicut cápream et cervum, cómedes,

רק בכל־אות נפשׁך תזבח ואכלת בשׂר כברכת יהוה אלהיך אשׁר נתן לך בכל שׁעריך הטמא והטהור יאכלנו כצבי וכאיל

Notwithstanding thou mayest kill and eat flesh in all thy gates, whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, according to the blessing of the LORD thy God which he hath given thee: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck, and as of the hart.

רַ֥ק הַדָּ֖ם לֹ֣א תֹאכֵ֑לוּ עַל הָ־אָ֥רֶץ תִּשְׁפְּכֶ֖נּוּ כַּמָּֽיִם׃

πλὴν τὸ αἷμα οὐ φάγεσθε, ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν ἐκχεεῖτε αὐτὸ ὡς ὕδωρ.

absque esu dumtáxat sánguinis, quem super terram quasi aquam effúndes.

רק הדם לא תאכל על הארץ תשׁפכנו כמים

Only ye shall not eat the blood; ye shall pour it upon the earth as water.

לֹֽא־תוּכַ֞ל לֶאֱכֹ֣ל בִּשְׁעָרֶ֗יךָ מַעְשַׂ֤ר דְּגָֽנְךָ֙ וְתִֽירֹשְׁךָ֣ וְיִצְהָרֶ֔ךָ וּבְכֹרֹ֥ת בְּקָרְךָ֖ וְצֹאנֶ֑ךָ וְכָל נְדָרֶ֨י־ךָ֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר תִּדֹּ֔ר וְנִדְבֹתֶ֖יךָ וּתְרוּמַ֥ת יָדֶֽךָ׃

οὐ δυνήσῃ φαγεῖν ἐν ταῖς πόλεσίν σου τὸ ἐπιδέκατον τοῦ σίτου σου καὶ τοῦ οἴνου σου καὶ τοῦ ἐλαίου σου, τὰ πρωτότοκα τῶν βοῶν σου, καὶ πάσας εὐχὰς ὅσας ἂν εὔξησθε καὶ τὰς ὁμολογίας ὑμῶν, καὶ τὰς ἀπαρχὰς τῶν χειρῶν σου ·
