בָּנִ֣ים אַתֶּ֔ם לַֽיהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֑ם לֹ֣א תִתְגֹּֽדְד֗וּ וְלֹֽא־תָשִׂ֧ימוּ קָרְחָ֛ה בֵּ֥ין עֵינֵיכֶ֖ם לָמֵֽת׃

Υἱοί ἐστε Κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ ὑμῶν, οὐκ ἐπιθήσετε φαλάκρωμα ἀνὰ μέσον τῶν ὀφθαλμῶν ὑμῶν ἐπὶ νεκρῷ ·

Fílii estóte Dómini Dei vestri: non vos incidétis, nec faciétis calvítium super mórtuo:

בנים אתם ליהוה אלהיכם לא תתגדדו ולא־תשׂימו קרחה בין עיניכם למת
1
Ye [are] the children of the LORD your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.

ὅτι λαὸς ἅγιος εἶ Κυρίῳ τῷ θεῷ σου, καὶ σὲ ἐξελέξατο Κύριος ὁ θεός σου γενέσθαι σε αὐτῷ λαὸν περιούσιον ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἐθνῶν τῶν ἐπὶ προσώπου τῆς γῆς.

quóniam pópulus sanctus es Dómino Deo tuo, et te elégit ut sis ei in pópulum peculiárem de cunctis géntibus, quæ sunt super terram.

כי עם קדשׁ אתה ליהוה אלהיך ובך בחר יהוה אלהיך להיות לו לעם סגלה מכל העמים אשׁר על־פני האדמה

For thou [art] an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all the nations that [are] upon the earth.

πᾶν κτῆνος διχηλοῦν ὁπλὴν καὶ ὀνυχιστῆρας ὀνυχίζον δύο χηλῶν καὶ ἀνάγον μηρυκισμὸν ἐν τοῖς κτήνεσιν, ταῦτα φάγεσθε.

Omne ánimal, quod in duas partes findit úngulam, et rúminat, comedétis.

כל־בהמה מפריסת פרסה ושׁסעת שׁסע שׁתי פרסות מעלות גרה בבהמה אתה תאכלו

And every beast that parteth the hoof, and cleaveth the cleft into two claws, [and] cheweth the cud among the beasts, that ye shall eat.

אַ֣ךְ אֶת־זֶ֞ה לֹ֤א תֹֽאכְלוּ֙ מִמַּֽעֲלֵ֣י הַגֵּרָ֔ה וּמִמַּפְרִיסֵ֥י הַפַּרְסָ֖ה הַשְּׁסוּעָ֑ה אֶֽת הַ֠־גָּמָל וְאֶת הָ־אַרְנֶ֨בֶת וְאֶת הַ־שָּׁפָ֜ן כִּֽי־מַעֲלֵ֧ה גֵרָ֣ה הֵ֗מָּה וּפַרְסָה֙ לֹ֣א הִפְרִ֔יסוּ טְמֵאִ֥ים הֵ֖ם לָכֶֽם׃

καὶ ταῦτα οὐ φάγεσθε ἀπὸ τῶν ἀναγόντων μηρυκισμὸν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν διχηλούντων τὰς ὁπλὰς καὶ ὀνυχιζόντων ὀνυχιστῆρας, τὸν κάμηλον καὶ δασύποδα καὶ χοιρογρύλλιον · ὅτι ἀνάγουσιν μηρυκισμὸν καὶ ὁπλὴν οὐ διχηλοῦσιν, ἀκάθαρτα ταῦτα ὑμῖν ἐστιν.

De his autem, quæ rúminant, et úngulam non findunt, comédere non debétis, ut camélum, léporem, chœrogrýllum: hæc quia rúminant et non dívidunt úngulam, immúnda erunt vobis.

אך את־זה לא תאכלו ממעלי הגרה וממפרסי הפרסה את הגמל ואת הארנבת ואת השׁפן כי־מעלה גרה הם ופרסה לא הפריסו טמאים הם לכם

Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the cloven hoof; [as] the camel, and the hare, and the coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; [therefore] they [are] unclean unto you.

וְאֶת הַ֠־חֲזִיר כִּֽי־מַפְרִ֨יס פַּרְסָ֥ה הוּא֙ וְלֹ֣א גֵרָ֔ה טָמֵ֥א ה֖וּא לָכֶ֑ם מִבְּשָׂרָם֙ לֹ֣א תֹאכֵ֔לוּ וּבְנִבְלָתָ֖ם לֹ֥א תִגָּֽעוּ׃ ס

καὶ τὸν ὗν, ὅτι διχηλεῖ ὁπλὴν τοῦτο καὶ ὀνυχίζει ὀνυχιστῆρας ὁπλῆς, καὶ τοῦτο μηρυκισμὸν οὐ μαρυκᾶται, ἀκάθαρτον τοῦτο ὑμῖν · ἀπὸ τῶν κρεῶν αὐτῶν οὐ φάγεσθε, τῶν θνησιμαίων αὐτῶν οὐχ ἅψεσθε.

Sus quoque, quóniam dívidit úngulam et non rúminat, immúnda erit: cárnibus eórum non vescémini, et cadávera non tangétis.

ואת החזיר כי־מפריס פרסה הוא ושׁסע שׁסע פרסה והוא גרה לא יגור טמא הוא לכם מבשׂרם לא תאכלו ובנבלתם לא תגעו

And the swine, because it divideth the hoof, yet cheweth not the cud, it [is] unclean unto you: ye shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their dead carcase.

אֶת־זֶה֙ תֹּֽאכְל֔וּ מִכֹּ֖ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר בַּמָּ֑יִם כֹּ֧ל אֲשֶׁר ל֛־וֹ סְנַפִּ֥יר וְקַשְׂקֶ֖שֶׂת תֹּאכֵֽלוּ׃

Καὶ ταῦτα φάγεσθε ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἐν τῷ ὕδατι · πάντα ὅσα ἐστὶν ἐν αὐτοῖς πτερύγια καὶ λεπίδες φάγεσθε.

Hæc comedétis ex ómnibus quæ morántur in aquis: Quæ habent pínnulas et squamas, comédite:

ואת־זה תאכלו מכל אשׁר במים כל אשׁר לו סנפיר וקשׂקשׂת תאכלו

These ye shall eat of all that [are] in the waters: all that have fins and scales shall ye eat:

καὶ πάντα ὅσα οὐκ ἔστιν αὐτοῖς πτερύγια καὶ λεπίδες οὐ φάγεσθε, ἀκάθαρτα ὑμῖν ἐστιν.

καὶ ταῦτα οὐ φάγεσθε ἀπ᾽ αὐτῶν · τὸν ἀετὸν καὶ τὸν γρύπα καὶ τὸν ἁλιάετον,

καὶ ἀρωδιὸν καὶ κύκνον καὶ εἶβιν,

πάντα τὰ ἑρπετὰ τῶν πετεινῶν ἀκάθαρτα ὑμῖν ἐστιν, οὐ φάγεσθε ἀπ᾽ αὐτῶν.

πᾶν πετεινὸν καθαρὸν φάγεσθε.

Et omne quod reptat et pénnulas habet, immúndum erit, et non comedétur.

כל שׁרץ העוף טמא הוא לכם לא תאכלו מהם

And every creeping thing that flieth [is] unclean unto you: they shall not be eaten.

Πᾶν θνησιμαῖον οὐ φάγεσθε · τῷ παροίκῳ τῷ ἐν ταῖς πόλεσίν σου δοθήσεται καὶ φάγεται, ἢ ἀποδώσῃ τῷ ἀλλοτρίῳ · ὅτι λαὸς ἅγιος εἶ Κυρίῳ τῷ θεῷ σου. οὐχ ἑψήσεις ἄρνα ἐν γάλακτι μητρὸς αὐτοῦ.

Δεκάτην ἀποδεκατώσεις παντὸς γενήματος τοῦ σπέρματός σου, τὸ γένημα τοῦ ἀγροῦ σου ἐνιαυτὸν κατ᾽ ἐνιαυτόν,

Quidquid autem morticínum est, ne vescámini ex eo. Peregríno, qui intra portas tuas est, da ut cómedat, aut vende ei: quia tu pópulus sanctus Dómini Dei tui es. Non coques hædum in lacte matris suæ.

לא תאכלו כל־נבלה לגר אשׁר בשׁעריך תתננה ואכלה או מכרה לנכרי כי עם קדשׁ אתה ליהוה אלהיך לא־תבשׁל גדי בחלב אמו

Ye shall not eat [of] any thing that dieth of itself: thou shalt give it unto the stranger that [is] in thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto an alien: for thou [art] an holy people unto the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother ’s milk.

עַשֵּׂ֣ר תְּעַשֵּׂ֔ר אֵ֖ת כָּל־תְּבוּאַ֣ת זַרְעֶ֑ךָ הַיֹּצֵ֥א הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה שָׁנָ֥ה שָׁנָֽה׃

καὶ φάγῃ αὐτὸ ἐν τῷ τόπῳ ᾧ ἂν ἐκλέξηται Κύριος ὁ θεός σου ἐπικληθῆναι τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ἐκεῖ · οἴσετε τὰ ἐπιδέκατα τοῦ σίτου σου καὶ τοῦ οἴνου σου καὶ τοῦ ἐλαίου σου, τὰ πρωτότοκα τῶν βοῶν σου καὶ τῶν προβάτων σου, ἵνα μάθῃς φοβεῖσθαι Κύριον τὸν θεόν σου πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας.

Décimam partem separábis de cunctis frúctibus tuis qui nascúntur in terra per annos síngulos,

עשׂר תעשׂר את כל־תבואת זרעך יוצא השׂדה שׁנה בשׁנה

Thou shalt truly tithe all the increase of thy seed, that the field bringeth forth year by year.

ἐὰν δὲ μακρὰν γένηται ἀπὸ σοῦ ἡ ὁδός, καὶ μὴ δύνῃ ἀναφέρειν αὐτά, ὅτι μακρὰν ἀπὸ σοῦ ὁ τόπος ὃν ἂν ἐκλέξηται Κύριος ὁ θεός σου ἐπικληθῆναι τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ἐκεῖ, ὅτι εὐλογήσει σε Κύριος ὁ θεός σου ·

et cómedes in conspéctu Dómini Dei tui in loco, quem elégerit, ut in eo nomen illíus invocétur, décimam fruménti tui, et vini, et ólei, et primogénita de arméntis et óvibus tuis: ut discas timére Dóminum Deum tuum omni témpore.

ואכלתו לפני יהוה אלהיך במקום אשׁר בחר יהוה אלהיך לשׁכן את שׁמו שׁם מעשׂר דגנך תירשׁך ויצהרך ובכורת בקרך וצאנך למען תלמד ליראה את־יהוה אלהיך כל הימים
23
And thou shalt eat before the LORD thy God, in the place which he shall choose to place his name there, the tithe of thy corn, of thy wine, and of thine oil, and the firstlings of thy herds and of thy flocks; that thou mayest learn to fear the LORD thy God always.

καὶ ἀποδώσῃ αὐτὰ ἀργυρίου, καὶ λήμψῃ τὸ ἀργύριον ἐν ταῖς χερσίν σου καὶ πορεύσῃ εἰς τὸν τόπον ὃν ἂν ἐκλέξηται Κύριος ὁ θεός σου αὐτόν ·

Cum autem lóngior fúerit via, et locus quem elégerit Dóminus Deus tuus, tibíque benedíxerit, nec potúeris ad eum hæc cuncta portáre,

וכי־ירבה ממך הדרך כי לא תוכל שׂאתו כי־ירחק ממך המקום אשׁר בחר יהוה אלהיך לשׁכן את שׁמו שׁם כי יברכך יהוה אלהיך
24
And if the way be too long for thee, so that thou art not able to carry it; [or] if the place be too far from thee, which the LORD thy God shall choose to set his name there, when the LORD thy God hath blessed thee:

καὶ δώσεις ἀργύριον ἐπὶ παντὸς οὗ ἐὰν ἐπιθυμεῖ ἡ ψυχή σου · καὶ φάγῃ ἐκεῖ ἐναντίον Κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου, καὶ εὐφρανθήσῃ σὺ καὶ ὁ υἱός σου

vendes ómnia, et in prétium rédiges, portabísque manu tua, et proficiscéris ad locum, quem elégerit Dóminus Deus tuus:

ונתתה בכסף וצרת הכסף בידך והלכת אל המקום אשׁר בחר יהוה אלהיך בו

Then shalt thou turn [it] into money, and bind up the money in thine hand, and shalt go unto the place which the LORD thy God shall choose:

καὶ ὁ Λευείτης ὁ ἐν ταῖς πόλεσίν σου, ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν αὐτῷ μερὶς οὐδὲ κλῆρος μετὰ σοῦ.

et emes ex eádem pecúnia quidquid tibi placúerit, sive ex arméntis, sive ex óvibus, vinum quoque et síceram, et omne quod desíderat ánima tua: et cómedes coram Dómino Deo tuo, et epuláberis tu et domus tua:

ונתתה הכסף בכל אשׁר־תאוה נפשׁך בבקר ובצאן ביין ובשׁכר ובכל אשׁר תשׁאלך נפשׁך ואכלת שׁם לפני יהוה אלהיך ושׂמחת אתה וביתך

And thou shalt bestow that money for whatsoever thy soul lusteth after, for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever thy soul desireth: and thou shalt eat there before the LORD thy God, and thou shalt rejoice, thou, and thine household,

et Levítes qui intra portas tuas est, cave ne derelínquas eum, quia non habet áliam partem in possessióne tua.

And the Levite that [is] within thy gates; thou shalt not forsake him; for he hath no part nor inheritance with thee.

At the end of three years thou shalt bring forth all the tithe of thine increase the same year, and shalt lay [it] up within thy gates:

ובא הלוי כי אין לו חלק ונחלה עמך והגר והיתום והאלמנה אשׁר בשׁעריך ואכלו ושׂבעו למען יברכך יהוה אלהיך בכל־מעשׂה ידיך אשׁר תעשׂה

And the Levite, ( because he hath no part nor inheritance with thee, ) and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which [are] within thy gates, shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hand which thou doest.
