וְהָיָה֩ כִֽי־יָבֹ֨אוּ עָלֶ֜יךָ כָּל הַ־דְּבָרִ֣ים הָאֵ֗לֶּה הַבְּרָכָה֙ וְהַקְּלָלָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר נָתַ֖תִּי לְפָנֶ֑יךָ וַהֲשֵׁבֹתָ֙ אֶל לְבָבֶ֔־ךָ בְּכָל הַ־גּוֹיִ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֧ר הִדִּיחֲךָ֛ יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ שָֽׁמָּה׃

Καὶ ἔσται ὡς ἂν ἔλθωσιν ἐπὶ σὲ πάντα τὰ ῥήματα ταῦτα, ἡ εὐλογία καὶ ἡ κατάρα ἣν ἔδωκα πρὸ προσώπου σου, καὶ δέξῃ εἰς τὴν καρδίαν σου ἐν πᾶσιν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν οὗ ἐάν σε διασκορπίσῃ Κύριος ἐκεῖ,

Cum ergo vénerint super te omnes sermónes isti, benedíctio sive maledíctio, quam propósui in conspéctu tuo: et ductus pœnitúdine cordis tui in univérsis géntibus, in quas dispérserit te Dóminus Deus tuus,

והיה כי־יבאו עליך כל הדברים האלה הברכה והקללה אשׁר נתתי לפניך והשׁבות אל לבבך בכל הגוים אשׁר ידיחך יהוה אלהיך שׁמה

And it shall come to pass, when all these things are come upon thee, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before thee, and thou shalt call [them] to mind among all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath driven thee,

וְשַׁבְתָּ֞ עַד־יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֨יךָ֙ וְשָׁמַעְתָּ֣ בְקֹל֔וֹ כְּכֹ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־אָנֹכִ֥י מְצַוְּךָ֖ הַיּ֑וֹם אַתָּ֣ה וּבָנֶ֔יךָ בְּכָל לְבָבְ־ךָ֖ וּבְכָל נַפְשֶֽׁ־ךָ׃
2
καὶ ἐπιστραφήσῃ ἐπὶ Κύριον τὸν θεόν σου, καὶ εἰσακούσῃ τῆς φωνῆς αὐτοῦ κατὰ πάντα ὅσα ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαί σοι σήμερον ἐξ ὅλης τῆς καρδίας σου καὶ ἐξ ὅλης τῆς ψυχῆς σου,

et revérsus fúeris ad eum, et obedíeris eius impériis, sicut ego hódie præcípio tibi, cum fíliis tuis, in toto corde tuo, et in tota ánima tua:

ושׁבת עד־יהוה אלהיך ושׁמעת בקולו ככל אשׁר־אנכי מצוך היום אתה ובניך בכל לבבך ובכל נפשׁך
2
And shalt return unto the LORD thy God, and shalt obey his voice according to all that I command thee this day, thou and thy children, with all thine heart, and with all thy soul;

וְשָׁ֨ב יְהוָ֧ה אֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ אֶת שְׁבוּתְ־ךָ֖ וְרִחֲמֶ֑ךָ וְשָׁ֗ב וְקִבֶּצְךָ֙ מִכָּל הָ֣־עַמִּ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֧ר הֱפִֽיצְךָ֛ יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ שָֽׁמָּה׃
3
καὶ ἰάσηται Κύριος τὰς ἁμαρτίας σου · καὶ ἐλεήσει σε, καὶ πάλιν συνάξει σε ἐκ πάντων τῶν ἐθνῶν εἰς οὓς διεσκόρπισέν σε Κύριος ἐκεῖ.

redúcet Dóminus Deus tuus captivitátem tuam, ac miserébitur tui, et rursum congregábit te de cunctis pópulis, in quos te ante dispérsit.

ושׁב יהוה אלהיך את שׁובתך ורחמך ושׁב וקבצך מכל העמים אשׁר הפיצך יהוה אלהיך שׁם
3
That then the LORD thy God will turn thy captivity, and have compassion upon thee, and will return and gather thee from all the nations, whither the LORD thy God hath scattered thee.

4
ἐὰν ᾖ ἡ διασπορά σου ἀπ᾽ ἄκρου τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἕως ἄκρου τοῦ οὐρανοῦ, ἐκεῖθεν συνάξει σε Κύριος ὁ θεός σου, καὶ ἐκεῖθεν λήμψεταί σε Κύριος ὁ θεός σου ·

Si ad cárdines cæli fúeris dissipátus, inde te rétrahet Dóminus Deus tuus,

אם־יהיה נדחך בקצה השׁמים משׁם יקבצך יהוה אלהיך ומשׁם יקחך
4
If [any] of thine be driven out unto the outmost [parts] of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will he fetch thee:

וֶהֱבִֽיאֲךָ֞ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ אֶל הָ־אָ֛רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־יָרְשׁ֥וּ אֲבֹתֶ֖יךָ וִֽירִשְׁתָּ֑הּ וְהֵיטִֽבְךָ֥ וְהִרְבְּךָ֖ מֵאֲבֹתֶֽיךָ׃
5
καὶ εἰσάξει σε ὁ θεός σου ἐκεῖθεν εἰς τὴν γῆν ἣν ἐκληρονόμησαν οἱ πατέρες σου, καὶ κληρονομήσεις αὐτήν · καὶ εὖ σε ποιήσει, καὶ πλεοναστόν σε ποιήσει ὑπὲρ τοὺς πατέρας σου.

et assúmet, atque introdúcet in terram, quam possedérunt patres tui, et obtinébis eam: et benedícens tibi, maióris númeri te esse fáciet quam fuérunt patres tui.

והביאך יהוה אלהיך אל הארץ אשׁר־ירשׁו אבתיך וירשׁתה והרבך מאבתיך
5
And the LORD thy God will bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it; and he will do thee good, and multiply thee above thy fathers.

וּמָ֨ל יְהוָ֧ה אֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ אֶת לְבָבְ־ךָ֖ וְאֶת־לְבַ֣ב זַרְעֶ֑ךָ לְאַהֲבָ֞ה אֶת־יְהוָ֧ה אֱלֹהֶ֛יךָ בְּכָל לְבָבְ־ךָ֥ וּבְכָל נַפְשְׁ־ךָ֖ לְמַ֥עַן חַיֶּֽיךָ׃

καὶ περικαθαριεῖ Κύριος τὴν καρδίαν σου καὶ τὴν καρδίαν τοῦ σπέρματός σου, ἀγαπᾷν Κύριον τὸν θεόν σου ἐξ ὅλης τῆς καρδίας σου καὶ ἐξ ὅλης τῆς ψυχῆς σου, ἵνα ζῇς σύ.

Circumcídet Dóminus Deus tuus cor tuum, et cor séminis tui, ut díligas Dóminum Deum tuum in toto corde tuo, et in tota ánima tua, ut possis vívere.

ומל יהוה אלהיך את לבבך ואת־לבב זרעך לאהבה את־יהוה אלהיך בכל לבבך ובכל נפשׁך למען חייך
6
And the LORD thy God will circumcise thine heart, and the heart of thy seed, to love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, that thou mayest live.

וְנָתַן֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ אֵ֥ת כָּל הָ־אָל֖וֹת הָאֵ֑לֶּה עַל אֹיְבֶ֥י־ךָ וְעַל שֹׂנְאֶ֖י־ךָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר רְדָפֽוּךָ׃

καὶ δώσει Κύριος ὁ θεός σου τὰς ἀρὰς ταύτας ἐπὶ τοὺς ἐχθρούς σου καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς μισοῦντάς σε, οἳ ἐδίωξάν σε.

Omnes autem maledictiónes has convértet super inimícos tuos, et eos, qui odérunt te et persequúntur.

ונתן יהוה אלהיך את כל האלות האלה על איביך ועל שׂנאיך אשׁר רדפוך
7
And the LORD thy God will put all these curses upon thine enemies, and on them that hate thee, which persecuted thee.

וְאַתָּ֣ה תָשׁ֔וּב וְשָׁמַעְתָּ֖ בְּק֣וֹל יְהוָ֑ה וְעָשִׂ֨יתָ֙ אֶת־כָּל מִצְוֺתָ֔י־ו אֲשֶׁ֛ר אָנֹכִ֥י מְצַוְּךָ֖ הַיּֽוֹם׃

καὶ σὺ ἐπιστραφήσῃ ἐπὶ Κύριον καὶ εἰσακούσῃ τῆς φωνῆς Κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου, καὶ ποιήσεις τὰς ἐντολὰς αὐτοῦ ὅσας ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαί σοι σήμερον ·

Tu autem revertéris, et áudies vocem Dómini Dei tui: faciésque univérsa mandáta quæ ego præcípio tibi hódie:

ואתה תשׁוב ושׁמעת בקול יהוה אלהיך ועשׂית את־כל מצותיו אשׁר אנכי מצוך היום
8
And thou shalt return and obey the voice of the LORD, and do all his commandments which I command thee this day.

וְהוֹתִֽירְךָ֩ יְהוָ֨ה אֱלֹהֶ֜יךָ בְּכֹ֣ל ׀ מַעֲשֵׂ֣ה יָדֶ֗ךָ בִּפְרִ֨י בִטְנְךָ֜ וּבִפְרִ֧י בְהֶמְתְּךָ֛ וּבִפְרִ֥י אַדְמָתְךָ֖ לְטוֹבָ֑ה כִּ֣י ׀ יָשׁ֣וּב יְהוָ֗ה לָשׂ֤וּשׂ עָלֶ֨יךָ֙ לְט֔וֹב כַּאֲשֶׁר־שָׂ֖שׂ עַל אֲבֹתֶֽי־ךָ׃

καὶ εὐλογήσει σε Κύριος ὁ θεός σου ἐν παντὶ ἔργῳ τῶν χειρῶν σου, ἐν τοῖς ἐκγόνοις τῆς κοιλίας σου καὶ ἐν τοῖς γενήμασιν τῆς γῆς σου καὶ ἐν τοῖς ἐκγόνοις τῶν κτηνῶν σου. ὅτι ἐπιστρέψει Κύριος ὁ θεός σου εὐφρανθῆναι ἐπὶ σοὶ εἰς ἀγαθά, καθότι ηὐφράνθη ἐπὶ τοῖς πατράσιν σου ·

et abundáre te fáciet Dóminus Deus tuus in cunctis opéribus mánuum tuárum, in sóbole úteri tui, et in fructu iumentórum tuórum, in ubertáte terræ tuæ, et in rerum ómnium largitáte. Revertétur enim Dóminus, ut gáudeat super te in ómnibus bonis, sicut gavísus est in pátribus tuis:

והותירך יהוה אלהיך בכל מעשׂה ידיך בפרי בטנך ובפרי אדמתך ובפרי בהמתך לטובה כי ישׁוב יהוה לשׂשׂ עליך לטוב כאשׁר־שׂשׂ על אבתיך
9
And the LORD thy God will make thee plenteous in every work of thine hand, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy land, for good: for the LORD will again rejoice over thee for good, as he rejoiced over thy fathers:

כִּ֣י תִשְׁמַ֗ע בְּקוֹל֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ לִשְׁמֹ֤ר מִצְוֺתָיו֙ וְחֻקֹּתָ֔יו הַכְּתוּבָ֕ה בְּסֵ֥פֶר הַתּוֹרָ֖ה הַזֶּ֑ה כִּ֤י תָשׁוּב֙ אֶל־יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ בְּכָל לְבָבְ־ךָ֖ וּבְכָל נַפְשֶֽׁ־ךָ׃ פ

ἐὰν εἰσακούσῃς τῆς φωνῆς Κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου, φυλάσσεσθαι τὰς ἐντολὰς αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰ δικαιώματα αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰς κρίσεις αὐτοῦ τὰς γεγραμμένας ἐν τῷ βιβλίῳ τοῦ νόμου τούτου, ἐὰν ἐπιστραφῇς ἐπὶ Κύριον τὸν θεόν σου ἐξ ὅλης τῆς καρδίας σου καὶ ἐξ ὅλης τῆς ψυχῆς σου.

si tamen audíeris vocem Dómini Dei tui, et custodíeris præcépta eius et cæremónias, quæ in hac lege conscrípta sunt: et revertáris ad Dóminum Deum tuum in toto corde tuo, et in tota ánima tua.

כי תשׁמע בקול יהוה אלהיך לשׁמר מצותיו וחקתיו הכתובה בספר התורה הזה כי תשׁוב אל־יהוה אלהיך בכל לבבך ובכל נפשׁך
10
If thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to keep his commandments and his statutes which are written in this book of the law, [and] if thou turn unto the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul.

כִּ֚י הַמִּצְוָ֣ה הַזֹּ֔את אֲשֶׁ֛ר אָנֹכִ֥י מְצַוְּךָ֖ הַיּ֑וֹם לֹֽא־נִפְלֵ֥את הִוא֙ מִמְּךָ֔ וְלֹ֥א רְחֹקָ֖ה הִֽוא׃

Ὅτι ἡ ἐντολὴ αὕτη ἣν ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαί σοι σήμερον οὐχ ὑπέρογκός ἐστιν, οὐδὲ μακρὰν ἀπὸ σοῦ.

Mandátum hoc, quod ego præcípio tibi hódie, non supra te est, neque procul pósitum,

כי המצוה הזאת אשׁר אנכי מצוך היום לא־נפלאת היא ממך ולא רחוקה היא

For this commandment which I command thee this day, it [is] not hidden from thee, neither [is] it far off.

לֹ֥א בַשָּׁמַ֖יִם הִ֑וא לֵאמֹ֗ר מִ֣י יַעֲלֶה לָּ֤־נוּ הַשָּׁמַ֨יְמָה֙ וְיִקָּחֶ֣הָ לָּ֔נוּ וְיַשְׁמִעֵ֥נוּ אֹתָ֖הּ וְנַעֲשֶֽׂנָּה׃
12
οὐκ ἐν τῷ οὐρανῷ ἄνω ἐστὶν λέγων Τίς ἀναβήσεται ἡμῖν εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ λήμψεται αὐτὴν ἡμῖν, καὶ ἀκούσαντες αὐτὸ ποιήσομεν;

nec in cælo situm, ut possis dícere: Quis nostrum valet ad cælum ascéndere, ut déferat illud ad nos, et audiámus atque ópere compleámus?

לא בשׁמים היא לאמר מי יעלה לנו השׁמים ויקחה לנו וישׁמענו אתה ונעשׂנה
12
It [is] not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

וְלֹֽא מֵ־עֵ֥בֶר לַיָּ֖ם הִ֑וא לֵאמֹ֗ר מִ֣י יַעֲבָר לָ֜־נוּ אֶל־עֵ֤בֶר הַיָּם֙ וְיִקָּחֶ֣הָ לָּ֔נוּ וְיַשְׁמִעֵ֥נוּ אֹתָ֖הּ וְנַעֲשֶֽׂנָּה׃

οὐδὲ πέραν τῆς θαλάσσης ἐστίν, λέγων Τίς διαπεράσει ἡμῖν εἰς τὸ πέραν τῆς θαλάσσης, καὶ λάβῃ ἡμῖν αὐτὴν καὶ ἀκουστὴν ἡμῖν ποιήσῃ αὐτήν, καὶ ποιήσομεν;
13
Neque trans mare pósitum: ut causéris, et dicas: Quis ex nobis póterit transfretáre mare, et illud ad nos usque deférre: ut possímus audíre, et fácere quod præcéptum est?

ולא מעבר לים היא לאמר מי יעבר לנו אל־עבר הים ויקחה לנו וישׁמענו אתה ונעשׂנה

Neither [is] it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

ἔστιν σου ἐγγὺς τὸ ῥῆμα σφόδρα ἐν τῷ στόματί σου καὶ ἐν τῇ καρδίᾳ σου καὶ ἐν ταῖς χερσίν σου αὐτὸ ποιεῖν.

Sed iuxta te est sermo valde, in ore tuo, et in corde tuo, ut fácias illum.

כי־קרוב אליך הדבר מאד בפיך ובלבבך לעשׂותו
14
But the word [is] very nigh unto thee, in thy mouth, and in thy heart, that thou mayest do it.

רְאֵ֨ה נָתַ֤תִּי לְפָנֶ֨יךָ֙ הַיּ֔וֹם אֶת הַֽ־חַיִּ֖ים וְאֶת הַ־טּ֑וֹב וְאֶת הַ־מָּ֖וֶת וְאֶת הָ־רָֽע׃
15
Ἰδοὺ δέδωκα πρὸ προσώπου σου σήμερον τὴν ζωὴν καὶ τὸν θάνατον, τὸ ἀγαθὸν καὶ τὸ κακόν.

Consídera quod hódie proposúerim in conspéctu tuo vitam et bonum, et e contrário mortem et malum:

ראה נתתי לפניך את החיים ואת הטוב ואת המות ואת הרע

See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;

אֲשֶׁ֨ר אָנֹכִ֣י מְצַוְּךָ֮ הַיּוֹם֒ לְאַהֲבָ֞ה אֶת־יְהוָ֤ה אֱלֹהֶ֨יךָ֙ לָלֶ֣כֶת בִּדְרָכָ֔יו וְלִשְׁמֹ֛ר מִצְוֺתָ֥יו וְחֻקֹּתָ֖יו וּמִשְׁפָּטָ֑יו וְחָיִ֣יתָ וְרָבִ֔יתָ וּבֵֽרַכְךָ֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ בָּאָ֕רֶץ אֲשֶׁר־אַתָּ֥ה בָא שָׁ֖מָּ־ה לְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ׃
16
ἐὰν εἰσακούσῃς τὰς ἐντολάς Κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου ἃς ἐγὼ ἐντέλλομαί σοι σήμερον, ἀγαπᾷν Κύριον τὸν θεόν σου, πορεύεσθαι ἐν πάσαις ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτοῦ, φυλάσσεσθαι τὰ δικαιώματα αὐτοῦ καὶ τὰς κρίσεις αὐτοῦ · καὶ ζήσεσθε καὶ πολλοὶ ἔσεσθε, καὶ εὐλογήσει σε Κύριος ὁ θεός σου ἐν πάσῃ τῇ γῇ εἰς ἣν εἰσπορεύῃ ἐκεῖ κληρονομεῖν αὐτήν.

ut díligas Dóminum Deum tuum, et ámbules in viis eius, et custódias mandáta illíus ac cæremónias atque iudícia: et vivas, atque multíplicet te, benedicátque tibi in terra, ad quam ingrediéris possidéndam.

אשׁר אנכי מצוך היום לאהבה את־יהוה אלהיך וללכת בדרכיו ולשׁמר חקיו ומצותיו ומשׁפטיו וחיית ורבית וברכך יהוה אלהיך בארץ אשׁר־אתה בא שׁמה לרשׁתה
