וַיֵּ֖לֶךְ מֹשֶׁ֑ה וַיְדַבֵּ֛ר אֶת הַ־דְּבָרִ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה אֶל־כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

Καὶ συνετέλεσεν Μωυσῆς λαλῶν πάντας τοὺς λόγους τούτους πρὸς πάντας υἱοὺς Ἰσραήλ.

Abiit ítaque Móyses, et locútus est ómnia verba hæc ad univérsum Israel,

וילך משׁה וידבר את הדברים האלה אל־כל־ישׂראל

And Moses went and spake these words unto all Israel.

וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲלֵהֶ֗ם בֶּן־מֵאָה֩ וְעֶשְׂרִ֨ים שָׁנָ֤ה אָנֹכִי֙ הַיּ֔וֹם לֹא־אוּכַ֥ל ע֖וֹד לָצֵ֣את וְלָב֑וֹא וַֽיהוָה֙ אָמַ֣ר אֵלַ֔י לֹ֥א תַעֲבֹ֖ר אֶת הַ־יַּרְדֵּ֥ן הַזֶּֽה׃

καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς Ἑκατὸν καὶ εἴκοσι ἐτῶν ἐγώ εἰμι σήμερον, οὐ δυνήσομαι ἔτι εἰσπορεύεσθαι καὶ ἐκπορεύεσθαι · Κύριος δὲ εἶπεν πρὸς μέ Οὐ διαβήσῃ τὸν Ἰορδάνην τοῦτον.

et dixit ad eos: Centum vigínti annórum sum hódie, non possum ultra égredi et íngredi, præsértim cum et Dóminus díxerit mihi: Non transíbis Iordánem istum.

ויאמר אליהם בן־מאה ועשׂרים שׁנה אנכי היום לא־אוכל עוד לצאת ולאבוא ויהוה האמר אלי לא תעבר את הירדן הזה
2
And he said unto them, I [am] an hundred and twenty years old this day; I can no more go out and come in: also the LORD hath said unto me, Thou shalt not go over this Jordan.

יְהוָ֨ה אֱלֹהֶ֜יךָ ה֣וּא ׀ עֹבֵ֣ר לְפָנֶ֗יךָ הֽוּא־יַשְׁמִ֞יד אֶת הַ־גּוֹיִ֥ם הָאֵ֛לֶּה מִלְּפָנֶ֖יךָ וִֽירִשְׁתָּ֑ם יְהוֹשֻׁ֗עַ ה֚וּא עֹבֵ֣ר לְפָנֶ֔יךָ כַּאֲשֶׁ֖ר דִּבֶּ֥ר יְהוָֽה׃

Κύριος ὁ θεός σου ὁ προπορευόμενος πρὸ προσώπου σου · οὗτος ἐξολεθρεύσει τὰ ἔθνη ταῦτα ἀπὸ προσώπου σου, καὶ κατακληρονομήσεις αὐτούς · καὶ Ἰησοῦς ὁ προπορευόμενος πρὸ προσώπου σου, καθὰ ἐλάλησεν Κύριος.

Dóminus ergo Deus tuus transíbit ante te: ipse delébit omnes gentes has in conspéctu tuo, et possidébis eas: et Iósue iste transíbit ante te, sicut locútus est Dóminus.

יהוה אלהיך הוא העבר לפניך הוא־ישׁמיד את הגוים האלה מלפניך וירשׁתם ויהושׁע הוא העבר לפניך כאשׁר דבר יהוה
3
The LORD thy God, he will go over before thee, [and] he will destroy these nations from before thee, and thou shalt possess them: [and] Joshua, he shall go over before thee, as the LORD hath said.

וְעָשָׂ֤ה יְהוָה֙ לָהֶ֔ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָׂ֗ה לְסִיח֥וֹן וּלְע֛וֹג מַלְכֵ֥י הָאֱמֹרִ֖י וּלְאַרְצָ֑ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר הִשְׁמִ֖יד אֹתָֽם׃

καὶ ποιήσει Κύριος ὁ θεός σου αὐτοῖς καθὰ ἐποίησεν Σηὼν καὶ Ὤγ, τοῖς δυσὶ βασιλεῦσιν τῶν Ἀμορραίων οἳ ἦσαν πέραν τοῦ Ἰορδάνου, καὶ τῇ γῇ αὐτῶν, καθότι ἐξωλέθρευσεν αὐτοὺς

Faciétque Dóminus eis sicut fecit Sehon et Og régibus Amorrhæórum, et terræ eórum, delebítque eos.

ועשׂה יהוה להם כאשׁר עשׂה לסיחון ולעוג מלכי האמרי ולארצם אשׁר השׁמיד אתם
4
And the LORD shall do unto them as he did to Sihon and to Og, kings of the Amorites, and unto the land of them, whom he destroyed.

וּנְתָנָ֥ם יְהוָ֖ה לִפְנֵיכֶ֑ם וַעֲשִׂיתֶ֣ם לָהֶ֔ם כְּכָל הַ־מִּצְוָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר צִוִּ֖יתִי אֶתְכֶֽם׃

καὶ παρέδωκεν αὐτοὺς Κύριος ὑμῖν · καὶ ποιήσετε αὐτοῖς καθότι ἐνετειλάμην ὑμῖν.

Cum ergo et hos tradíderit vobis, simíliter faciétis eis, sicut præcépi vobis.

ונתנם יהוה לפניכם ועשׂיתם להם ככל המצוה אשׁר צויתי אתכם

And the LORD shall give them up before your face, that ye may do unto them according unto all the commandments which I have commanded you.

חִזְק֣וּ וְאִמְצ֔וּ אַל־תִּֽירְא֥וּ וְאַל־תַּעַרְצ֖וּ מִפְּנֵיהֶ֑ם כִּ֣י ׀ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ ה֚וּא הַהֹלֵ֣ךְ עִמָּ֔ךְ לֹ֥א יַרְפְּךָ֖ וְלֹ֥א יַעַזְבֶֽךָּ׃ פ

ἀνδρίζου καὶ ἴσχυε, μὴ φοβοῦ μηδὲ δειλιάσῃς μηδὲ πτοηθῇς ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν · ὅτι Κύριος ὁ θεός σου ὁ προπορευόμενος μεθ᾽ ὑμῶν ἐν ὑμῖν, οὔτε μή σε ἀνῇ οὔτε μή σε ἐνκαταλίπῃ.

Viríliter ágite, et confortámini: nolíte timére, nec paveátis ad conspéctum eórum: quia Dóminus Deus tuus ipse est ductor tuus, et non dimíttet, nec derelínquet te.

חזקו ואמצו אל־תיראו ואל־תערצו מפניהם כי יהוה אלהיך הוא ההלך עמך לא ירפך ולא יעזבך
6
Be strong and of a good courage, fear not, nor be afraid of them: for the LORD thy God, he [it is] that doth go with thee; he will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.

וַיִּקְרָ֨א מֹשֶׁ֜ה לִֽיהוֹשֻׁ֗עַ וַיֹּ֨אמֶר אֵלָ֜יו לְעֵינֵ֣י כָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֘ל חֲזַ֣ק וֶאֱמָץ֒ כִּ֣י אַתָּ֗ה תָּבוֹא֙ אֶת הָ־עָ֣ם הַזֶּ֔ה אֶל הָ־אָ֕רֶץ אֲשֶׁ֨ר נִשְׁבַּ֧ע יְהוָ֛ה לַאֲבֹתָ֖ם לָתֵ֣ת לָהֶ֑ם וְאַתָּ֖ה תַּנְחִילֶ֥נָּה אוֹתָֽם׃

Καὶ ἐκάλεσεν Μωυσῆς Ἰησοῦν καὶ εἶπεν αὐτῷ ἔναντι παντὸς Ἰσραήλ Ἀνδρίζου καὶ ἴσχυε · σὺ γὰρ εἰσελεύσῃ πρὸ προσώπου τοῦ λαοῦ τούτου εἰς τὴν γῆν ἣν ὤμοσεν Κύριος τοῖς πατράσιν ἡμῶν δοῦναι αὐτοῖς, καὶ σὺ κατακληρονομήσεις αὐτοῖς ·

Vocavítque Móyses Iósue, et dixit ei coram omni Israel: Confortáre, et esto robústus: tu enim introdúces pópulum istum in terram, quam datúrum se pátribus eórum iurávit Dóminus, et tu eam sorte dívides.

ויקרא משׁה ליהושׁע ויאמר אליו לעיני כל־ישׂראל חזק ואמץ כי אתה תביא את העם הזה אל הארץ אשׁר נשׁבע יהוה לאבתם לתת להם ואתה תנחילנה אתם

And Moses called unto Joshua, and said unto him in the sight of all Israel, Be strong and of a good courage: for thou must go with this people unto the land which the LORD hath sworn unto their fathers to give them; and thou shalt cause them to inherit it.

וַֽיהוָ֞ה ה֣וּא ׀ הַהֹלֵ֣ךְ לְפָנֶ֗יךָ ה֚וּא יִהְיֶ֣ה עִמָּ֔ךְ לֹ֥א יַרְפְּךָ֖ וְלֹ֣א יַֽעַזְבֶ֑ךָּ לֹ֥א תִירָ֖א וְלֹ֥א תֵחָֽת׃

καὶ Κύριος ὁ συνπορευόμενος μετὰ σοῦ οὐκ ἀνήσει σε οὐδὲ μὴ ἐνκαταλίπῃ σε, μὴ φοβοῦ μηδὲ δειλία.

Et Dóminus qui ductor est vester, ipse erit tecum: non dimíttet, nec derelínquet te: noli timére, nec páveas.

ויהוה הוא ההלך לפניך הוא יהיה עמך לא ירפך ולא יעזבך לא תירא ולא תחת
8
And the LORD, he [it is] that doth go before thee; he will be with thee, he will not fail thee, neither forsake thee: fear not, neither be dismayed.

וַיִּכְתֹּ֣ב מֹשֶׁה֮ אֶת הַ־תּוֹרָ֣ה הַזֹּאת֒ וַֽיִּתְּנָ֗הּ אֶל הַ־כֹּהֲנִים֙ בְּנֵ֣י לֵוִ֔י הַנֹּ֣שְׂאִ֔ים אֶת־אֲר֖וֹן בְּרִ֣ית יְהוָ֑ה וְאֶל־כָּל־זִקְנֵ֖י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

Καὶ ἔγραψεν Μωυσῆς τὰ ῥήματα τοῦ νόμου τούτου εἰς βιβλίον, καὶ ἔδωκεν τοῖς ἱερεῦσιν τοῖς αἴρουσιν τὴν κιβωτὸν τῆς διαθήκης Κυρίου καὶ τοῖς πρεσβυτέροις τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ.

Scripsit ítaque Móyses legem hanc, et trádidit eam sacerdótibus fíliis Levi, qui portábant arcam fœ́deris Dómini, et cunctis senióribus Israel.

ויכתב משׁה את התורה הזאת ויתנה אל הכהנים בני לוי הנשׂאים את־ארון ברית יהוה ואל־כל־זקני ישׂראל
9
And Moses wrote this law, and delivered it unto the priests the sons of Levi, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and unto all the elders of Israel.

וַיְצַ֥ו מֹשֶׁ֖ה אוֹתָ֣ם לֵאמֹ֑ר מִקֵּ֣ץ ׀ שֶׁ֣בַע שָׁנִ֗ים בְּמֹעֵ֛ד שְׁנַ֥ת הַשְּׁמִטָּ֖ה בְּחַ֥ג הַסֻּכּֽוֹת׃

καὶ ἐνετειλάτο αὐτοῖς Μωυσῆς ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ λέγων Μετὰ ἑπτὰ ἔτη ἐν καιρῷ ἐνιαυτοῦ ἀφέσεως ἐν ἑορτῇ σκηνοπηγίας,

Præcepítque eis, dicens: Post septem annos, anno remissiónis, in solemnitáte tabernaculórum,

ויצו משׁה אתם לאמר מקץ שׁבע שׁנים במועד שׁנת השׁמטה בחג הסכות

And Moses commanded them, saying, At the end of [every] seven years, in the solemnity of the year of release, in the feast of tabernacles,

בְּב֣וֹא כָל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֗ל לֵרָאוֹת֙ אֶת־פְּנֵי֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ בַּמָּק֖וֹם אֲשֶׁ֣ר יִבְחָ֑ר תִּקְרָ֞א אֶת הַ־תּוֹרָ֥ה הַזֹּ֛את נֶ֥גֶד כָּל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בְּאָזְנֵיהֶֽם׃
11
ἐν τῷ συνπορεύεσθαι πάντα Ἰσραὴλ ὀφθῆναι ἐνώπιον Κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ ὑμῶν, ἐν τῷ τόπῳ ᾧ ἂν ἐκλέξηται Κύριος, ἀναγνώσεσθε τὸν νόμον τοῦτον ἐναντίον παντὸς Ἰσραὴλ εἰς τὰ ὦτα αὐτῶν ·

conveniéntibus cunctis ex Israel, ut appáreant in conspéctu Dómini Dei tui in loco, quem elégerit Dóminus, leges verba legis huius coram omni Israel, audiéntibus eis,

בבוא כל־ישׂראל להראות את־פני יהוה אלהיך במקום אשׁר בחר יקרא את התורה הזאת נגד כל־ישׂראל באזניהם
11
When all Israel is come to appear before the LORD thy God in the place which he shall choose, thou shalt read this law before all Israel in their hearing.

הַקְהֵ֣ל אֶת הָ־עָ֗ם הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֤ים וְהַנָּשִׁים֙ וְהַטַּ֔ף וְגֵרְךָ֖ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בִּשְׁעָרֶ֑יךָ לְמַ֨עַן יִשְׁמְע֜וּ וּלְמַ֣עַן יִלְמְד֗וּ וְיָֽרְאוּ֙ אֶת־יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹֽהֵיכֶ֔ם וְשָֽׁמְר֣וּ לַעֲשׂ֔וֹת אֶת־כָּל־דִּבְרֵ֖י הַתּוֹרָ֥ה הַזֹּֽאת׃

ἐκκλησιάσας τὸν λαόν, τοὺς ἄνδρας καὶ τὰς γυναῖκας καὶ τὰ ἔκγονα καὶ τὸν προσήλυτον τὸν ἐν ταῖς πόλεσιν ὑμῶν, ἵνα ἀκούσωσιν καὶ ἵνα μάθωσιν φοβεῖσθαι Κύριον τὸν θεὸν ὑμῶν, καὶ ἀκούσονται ποιεῖν πάντας τοὺς λόγους τοῦ νόμου τούτου ·

et in unum omni pópulo congregáto, tam viris quam muliéribus, párvulis, et ádvenis, qui sunt intra portas tuas: ut audiéntes discant, et tímeant Dóminum Deum vestrum, et custódiant, impleántque omnes sermónes legis huius:

הקהל את העם האנשׁים והנשׁים והטף וגרך אשׁר בשׁעריך למען ישׁמעו ולמען ילמדו וייראו את־יהוה אלהיכם ושׁמרו לעשׂות את־כל־דברי התורה הזאת

Gather the people together, men, and women, and children, and thy stranger that [is] within thy gates, that they may hear, and that they may learn, and fear the LORD your God, and observe to do all the words of this law:

וּבְנֵיהֶ֞ם אֲשֶׁ֣ר לֹֽא־יָדְע֗וּ יִשְׁמְעוּ֙ וְלָ֣מְד֔וּ לְיִרְאָ֖ה אֶת־יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֵיכֶ֑ם כָּל הַ־יָּמִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר אַתֶּ֤ם חַיִּים֙ עַל הָ֣־אֲדָמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר אַתֶּ֜ם עֹבְרִ֧ים אֶת הַ־יַּרְדֵּ֛ן שָׁ֖מָּה לְרִשְׁתָּֽהּ׃ פ

καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτῶν οἳ οὐκ οἴδασιν ἀκούσονται, καὶ μαθήσονται φοβεῖσθαι Κύριον τὸν θεόν σου πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας ὅσας αὐτοὶ ζῶσιν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς εἰς ἣν ὑμεῖς διαβαίνετε τὸν Ἰορδάνην ἐκεῖ κληρονομεῖν αὐτήν.

fílii quoque eórum qui nunc ignórant, ut audíre possint, et tímeant Dóminum Deum suum cunctis diébus quibus versántur in terra, ad quam vos, Iordáne transmísso, pérgitis obtinéndam.

ובניהם אשׁר לא־ידעו ישׁמעו ולמדו ליראה את־יהוה אלהיהם כל הימים אשׁר הם חיים על האדמה אשׁר אתם עברים את הירדן שׁמה לרשׁתה
13
And [that] their children, which have not known [any thing], may hear, and learn to fear the LORD your God, as long as ye live in the land whither ye go over Jordan to possess it.

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֗ה הֵ֣ן קָרְב֣וּ יָמֶיךָ֮ לָמוּת֒ קְרָ֣א אֶת־יְהוֹשֻׁ֗עַ וְהִֽתְיַצְּב֛וּ בְּאֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵ֖ד וַאֲצַוֶּ֑נּוּ וַיֵּ֤לֶךְ מֹשֶׁה֙ וִֽיהוֹשֻׁ֔עַ וַיִּֽתְיַצְּב֖וּ בְּאֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃

Καὶ εἶπεν Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν Ἰδοὺ ἠγγίκασιν αἱ ἡμέραι τοῦ θανάτου σου · κάλεσον Ἰησοῦν, καὶ στῆτε παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου, καὶ ἐντελοῦμαι αὐτῷ. καὶ ἐπορεύθη Μωυσῆς καὶ Ἰησοῦς εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου, καὶ ἔστησαν παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου.

Et ait Dóminus ad Móysen: Ecce prope sunt dies mortis tuæ: voca Iósue, et state in tabernáculo testimónii, ut præcípiam ei. Abiérunt ergo Móyses et Iósue, et stetérunt in tabernáculo testimónii:

ויאמר יהוה אל־משׁה הן קרבו ימיך למות קרא את־יהושׁע והתיצבו באהל מועד ואצונו וילך משׁה ויהושׁע ויתיצבו באהל מועד

And the LORD said unto Moses, Behold, thy days approach that thou must die: call Joshua, and present yourselves in the tabernacle of the congregation, that I may give him a charge. And Moses and Joshua went, and presented themselves in the tabernacle of the congregation.

וַיֵּרָ֧א יְהוָ֛ה בָּאֹ֖הֶל בְּעַמּ֣וּד עָנָ֑ן וַיַּעֲמֹ֛ד עַמּ֥וּד הֶעָנָ֖ן עַל־פֶּ֥תַח הָאֹֽהֶל׃ ס

καὶ κατέβη Κύριος ἐν νεφέλῃ, καὶ ἔστη παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου · καὶ ἔστη ὁ στύλος τῆς νεφέλης παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς.

apparuítque Dóminus ibi in colúmna nubis, quæ stetit in intróitu tabernáculi.

ויראה יהוה באהל בעמוד ענן ויעמד עמוד הענן אל פתח האהל
15
And the LORD appeared in the tabernacle in a pillar of a cloud: and the pillar of the cloud stood over the door of the tabernacle.

Then my anger shall be kindled against them in that day, and I will forsake them, and I will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured, and many evils and troubles shall befall them; so that they will say in that day, Are not these evils come upon us, because our God [is] not among us?

Καὶ ἐλάλησεν Μωυσῆς εἰς τὰ ὦτα πάσης ἐκκλησίας τὰ ῥήματα τῆς ᾠδῆς ταύτης ἕως εἰς τέλος.
