וַיֹּ֧סֶף אַבְרָהָ֛ם וַיִּקַּ֥ח אִשָּׁ֖ה וּשְׁמָ֥הּ קְטוּרָֽה׃
1
Προσθέμενος δὲ Ἀβραὰμ ἔλαβεν γυναῖκα ᾗ ὄνομα Χεττούρα.

Abraham vero áliam duxit uxórem nómine Cetúram:

Then again Abraham took a wife, and her name [was] Keturah.

וַתֵּ֣לֶד ל֗וֹ אֶת־זִמְרָן֙ וְאֶת־יָקְשָׁ֔ן וְאֶת־מְדָ֖ן וְאֶת־מִדְיָ֑ן וְאֶת־יִשְׁבָּ֖ק וְאֶת־שֽׁוּחַ׃

ἔτεκεν δὲ αὐτῷ τὸν Ζεβρὰν καὶ τὸν Ἰεξὰν καὶ τὸν Μαδαὶμ καὶ τὸν Μαδιὰμ καὶ τὸν Ἰεσβὸκ καὶ τὸν Σωύε.

quæ péperit ei Zamran et Iecsan, et Madan, et Mádian, et Iesboc, et Sue.

ותלד לו את זמרון ואת־יקשׁן ואת־מדן ואת־מדין ואת־ישׁבק ואת־שׁוח

And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.

וְיָקְשָׁ֣ן יָלַ֔ד אֶת־שְׁבָ֖א וְאֶת־דְּדָ֑ן וּבְנֵ֣י דְדָ֔ן הָי֛וּ אַשּׁוּרִ֥ם וּלְטוּשִׁ֖ים וּלְאֻמִּֽים׃

Ἰεξὰν δὲ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Σαβὰν καὶ τὸν Θαιμὰν καὶ τὸν Δαιδάν · υἱοὶ δὲ Δαιδὰν ἐγένοντο Ῥαγουὴλ καὶ Ναβδεὴλ καὶ Ἀσουρὶμ καὶ Δατουσιεὶμ καὶ Λοωμείμ ·

Iecsan quoque génuit Saba, et Dadan. Fílii Dadan fuérunt Assurim, et Latúsim, et Lóomim.

ויקשׁן ילד את־שׁבא ואת־דדן ובני דדן היו אשׁורים ולטשׁים ולאמים

And Jokshan begat Sheba, and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.

וּבְנֵ֣י מִדְיָ֗ן עֵיפָ֤ה וָעֵ֨פֶר֙ וַחֲנֹ֔ךְ וַאֲבִידָ֖ע וְאֶלְדָּעָ֑ה כָּל־אֵ֖לֶּה בְּנֵ֥י קְטוּרָֽה׃

υἱοὶ δὲ Μαδιὰμ Γεφὰρ καὶ Ἄφερ καὶ Ἑνὼχ καὶ Ἀβιρὰ καὶ Θεργαμά. οὗτοι πάντες ἦσαν υἱοὶ Χεττούρας.

At vero ex Mádian ortus est Epha, et Opher, et Henoch, et Abída, et Eldaa: omnes hi fílii Cetúræ.

ובני מדין עיפה ואפר חנוך ואבידע ואלדעה כל־אלה בני קטורה

And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these [were] the children of Keturah.

וַיִּתֵּ֧ן אַבְרָהָ֛ם אֶת־כָּל־אֲשֶׁר ל֖־וֹ לְיִצְחָֽק׃

ἔδωκεν δὲ Ἀβραὰμ πάντα τὰ ὑπάρχοντα αὐτοῦ Ἰσαὰκ τῷ υἱῷ αὐτοῦ.

Dedítque Abraham cuncta quæ posséderat, Isaac:

ויתן אברהם את־כל־אשׁר לו ליצחק בנו

And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac.

וְלִבְנֵ֤י הַפִּֽילַגְשִׁים֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר לְאַבְרָהָ֔ם נָתַ֥ן אַבְרָהָ֖ם מַתָּנֹ֑ת וַֽיְשַׁלְּחֵ֞ם מֵעַ֨ל יִצְחָ֤ק בְּנוֹ֙ בְּעוֹדֶ֣נּוּ חַ֔י קֵ֖דְמָה אֶל־אֶ֥רֶץ קֶֽדֶם׃

καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς τῶν παλλακῶν αὐτοῦ ἔδωκεν Ἀβραὰμ δόματα, καὶ ἐξαπέστειλεν αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ Ἰσαὰκ τοῦ υἱοῦ αὐτοῦ ἔτι ζῶντος αὐτοῦ πρὸς ἀνατολὰς εἰς γῆν ἀνατολῶν.

fíliis autem concubinárum largítus est múnera, et separávit eos ab Isaac fílio suo, dum adhuc ipse víveret, ad plagam orientálem.

ולבני הפילגשׁים אשׁר לאברהם נתן אברהם מתנות וישׁלחם מעל יצחק בנו בעודנו חי קדמה אל־ארץ קדמה

But unto the sons of the concubines, which Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts, and sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country.

וְאֵ֗לֶּה יְמֵ֛י שְׁנֵֽי־חַיֵּ֥י אַבְרָהָ֖ם אֲשֶׁר־חָ֑י מְאַ֥ת שָׁנָ֛ה וְשִׁבְעִ֥ים שָׁנָ֖ה וְחָמֵ֥שׁ שָׁנִֽים׃

ταῦτα δὲ τὰ ἔτη ἡμερῶν ζωῆς Ἀβραὰμ ὅσα ἔζησεν, ἑκατὸν ἑβδομήκοντα πέντε ἔτη.

Fuérunt autem dies vitæ Abrahæ, centum septuagínta quinque anni.

ואלה ימי שׁני־חיי אברהם אשׁר־חי מאת שׁנה ושׁבעים שׁנה וחמשׁ שׁנים

And these [are] the days of the years of Abraham ’s life which he lived, an hundred threescore and fifteen years.

וַיִּגְוַ֨ע וַיָּ֧מָת אַבְרָהָ֛ם בְּשֵׂיבָ֥ה טוֹבָ֖ה זָקֵ֣ן וְשָׂבֵ֑עַ וַיֵּאָ֖סֶף אֶל עַמָּֽי־ו׃

καὶ ἐκλείπων ἀπέθανεν Ἀβραὰμ ἐν γήρει καλῷ πρεσβύτης καὶ πλήρης ἡμερῶν, καὶ προσετέθη πρὸς τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ.

Et defíciens mórtuus est in senectúte bona, provectǽque ætátis, et plenus diérum: congregatúsque est ad pópulum suum.

ויגוע וימת אברהם בשׂיבה טובה זקן ושׂבע ימים ויאסף אל עמו

Then Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full [of years]; and was gathered to his people.

וַיִּקְבְּר֨וּ אֹת֜וֹ יִצְחָ֤ק וְיִשְׁמָעֵאל֙ בָּנָ֔יו אֶל־מְעָרַ֖ת הַמַּכְפֵּלָ֑ה אֶל־שְׂדֵ֞ה עֶפְרֹ֤ן בֶּן־צֹ֨חַר֙ הַֽחִתִּ֔י אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־פְּנֵ֥י מַמְרֵֽא׃

καὶ ἔθαψαν αὐτὸν Ἰσαὰκ καὶ Ἰσμαὴλ οἱ δύο υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ εἰς τὸ σπήλαιον τὸ διπλοῦν, εἰς τὸν ἀγρὸν Ἐφρὼν τοῦ Σάαρ τοῦ Χετταίου, ὅ ἐστιν ἀπέναντι Μαμβρή,

Et sepeliérunt eum Isaac et Ismael fílii sui in spelúnca dúplici, quæ sita est in agro Ephron fílii Seor Hethǽi, e regióne Mambre,

ויקברו אתו יצחק וישׁמעאל בניו אל־מערת המכפלה אל־שׂדה עפרון בן צהר החתי אשׁר על־פני ממרא

And his sons Isaac and Ishmael buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which [is] before Mamre;

הַשָּׂדֶ֛ה אֲשֶׁר־קָנָ֥ה אַבְרָהָ֖ם מֵאֵ֣ת בְּנֵי־חֵ֑ת שָׁ֛מָּה קֻבַּ֥ר אַבְרָהָ֖ם וְשָׂרָ֥ה אִשְׁתּֽוֹ׃

τὸν ἀγρὸν καὶ τὸ σπήλαιον ὃ ἐκτήσατο Ἀβραὰμ παρὰ τῶν υἱῶν Χέτ · ἐκεῖ ἔθαψαν Ἀβραὰμ καὶ Σάρραν τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ.

השׂדה אשׁר־קנה אברהם מאת בני־חת שׁם קבור אברהם ושׂרה אשׁתו

The field which Abraham purchased of the sons of Heth: there was Abraham buried, and Sarah his wife.

וַיְהִ֗י אַחֲרֵי֙ מ֣וֹת אַבְרָהָ֔ם וַיְבָ֥רֶךְ אֱלֹהִ֖ים אֶת־יִצְחָ֣ק בְּנ֑וֹ וַיֵּ֣שֶׁב יִצְחָ֔ק עִם־בְּאֵ֥ר לַחַ֖י רֹאִֽי׃ ס

ἐγένετο δὲ μετὰ τὸ ἀποθανεῖν Ἀβραὰμ εὐλόγησεν ὁ θεὸς τὸν Ἰσαὰκ τὸν υἱὸν αὐτοῦ · καὶ κατῴκησεν Ἰσαὰκ παρὰ τὸ φρέαρ τῆς ὁράσεως.

Et post óbitum illíus benedíxit Deus Isaac fílio eius, qui habitábat iuxta púteum nómine Vivéntis et Vidéntis.

ויהי אחרי מות אברהם ויברך אלהים את־יצחק בנו וישׁב יצחק עם־באר לחי ראי

And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed his son Isaac; and Isaac dwelt by the well Lahairoi.

וְאֵ֛לֶּה תֹּלְדֹ֥ת יִשְׁמָעֵ֖אל בֶּן־אַבְרָהָ֑ם אֲשֶׁ֨ר יָלְדָ֜ה הָגָ֧ר הַמִּצְרִ֛ית שִׁפְחַ֥ת שָׂרָ֖ה לְאַבְרָהָֽם׃

Αὗται δὲ αἱ γενέσεις Ἰσμαὴλ τοῦ υἱοῦ Ἀβραάμ, ὃν ἔτεκεν Ἁγὰρ ἡ παιδίσκη Σάρρας τῷ Ἀβραάμ.

Hæ sunt generatiónes Ismael fílii Abrahæ, quem péperit ei Agar Ægýptia, fámula Saræ:

ואלה תולדת ישׁמעאל בן־אברהם אשׁר ילדה הגר המצרית שׁפחת שׂרה לאברהם

Now these [are] the generations of Ishmael, Abraham ’s son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah ’s handmaid, bare unto Abraham:

וְאֵ֗לֶּה שְׁמוֹת֙ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׁמָעֵ֔אל בִּשְׁמֹתָ֖ם לְתוֹלְדֹתָ֑ם בְּכֹ֤ר יִשְׁמָעֵאל֙ נְבָיֹ֔ת וְקֵדָ֥ר וְאַדְבְּאֵ֖ל וּמִבְשָֽׂם׃

καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσμαὴλ κατ᾽ ὄνομα τῶν γενεῶν αὐτοῦ · πρωτότοκος Ἰσμαὴλ Ναβαιώθ, καὶ Κηδὰρ καὶ Ναβδεὴλ καὶ Μασσὰμ

et hæc nómina filiórum eius in vocábulis et generatiónibus suis. Primogénitus Ismaélis Nábaioth, deínde Cedar, et Adbeel, et Mabsam,

οὗτοί εἰσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσμαήλ, καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ὀνόματα αὐτῶν ἐν ταῖς σκηναῖς αὐτῶν καὶ ἐν ταῖς ἐπαύλεσιν αὐτῶν · δώδεκα ἄρχοντες κατὰ ἔθνος αὐτῶν.

Isti sunt fílii Ismaélis: et hæc nómina per castélla et óppida eórum, duódecim príncipes tríbuum suárum.

וְאֵ֗לֶּה שְׁנֵי֙ חַיֵּ֣י יִשְׁמָעֵ֔אל מְאַ֥ת שָׁנָ֛ה וּשְׁלֹשִׁ֥ים שָׁנָ֖ה וְשֶׁ֣בַע שָׁנִ֑ים וַיִּגְוַ֣ע וַיָּ֔מָת וַיֵּאָ֖סֶף אֶל עַמָּֽי־ו׃

καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ἔτη τῆς ζωῆς Ἰσμαήλ, ἑκατὸν τριάκοντα ἑπτὰ ἔτη · καὶ ἐκλείπων ἀπέθανεν καὶ προσετέθη πρὸς τὸ γένος αὐτοῦ.

Et facti sunt anni vitæ Ismaélis centum trigínta septem, deficiénsque mórtuus est, et appósitus ad pópulum suum.

ואלה שׁני חיי ישׁמעאל מאת שׁנה ושׁלשׁים שׁנה ושׁבע שׁנים ויגוע וימת ויאסף אל עמו

And these [are] the years of the life of Ishmael, an hundred and thirty and seven years: and he gave up the ghost and died; and was gathered unto his people.

וַיִּשְׁכְּנ֨וּ מֵֽחֲוִילָ֜ה עַד־שׁ֗וּר אֲשֶׁר֙ עַל־פְּנֵ֣י מִצְרַ֔יִם בֹּאֲכָ֖ה אַשּׁ֑וּרָה עַל־פְּנֵ֥י כָל אֶחָ֖י־ו נָפָֽל׃ פ

κατῴκησεν δὲ ἀπὸ Εὑειλὰτ ἕως Σουήλ, ἥ ἐστιν κατὰ πρόσωπον Αἰγύπτου ἕως ἐλθεῖν πρὸς Ἀσσυρίους · κατὰ πρόσωπον πάντων τῶν ἀδελφῶν αὐτοῦ κατῴκησεν.

Habitávit autem ab Hevíla usque Sur, quæ réspicit Ægýptum introeúntibus Assýrios: coram cunctis frátribus suis óbiit.

וישׁכנו מחוילה עד־שׁור אשׁר על־פני מצרים באכה אשׁורה על־פני כל אחיו נפל

And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur, that [is] before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria: [and] he died in the presence of all his brethren.

וְאֵ֛לֶּה תּוֹלְדֹ֥ת יִצְחָ֖ק בֶּן־אַבְרָהָ֑ם אַבְרָהָ֖ם הוֹלִ֥יד אֶת־יִצְחָֽק׃

Καὶ αὗται αἱ γενέσεις Ἰσαὰκ τοῦ υἱοῦ Ἀβραάμ · Ἀβραὰμ ἐγέννησεν τὸν Ἰσαάκ.

Hæ quoque sunt generatiónes Isaac fílii Abraham: Abraham génuit Isaac:

And these [are] the generations of Isaac, Abraham ’s son: Abraham begat Isaac:

וַיְהִ֤י יִצְחָק֙ בֶּן־אַרְבָּעִ֣ים שָׁנָ֔ה בְּקַחְתּ֣וֹ אֶת־רִבְקָ֗ה בַּת־בְּתוּאֵל֙ הָֽאֲרַמִּ֔י מִפַּדַּ֖ן אֲרָ֑ם אֲח֛וֹת לָבָ֥ן הָאֲרַמִּ֖י ל֥וֹ לְאִשָּֽׁה׃

ἦν δὲ Ἰσαὰκ ἐτῶν τεσσεράκοντα ὅτε ἔλαβεν τὴν Ῥεβέκκαν θυγατέρα Βαθουὴλ τοῦ Σύρου ἐκ τῆς Μεσοποταμίας, ἀδελφὴν Λαβὰν τοῦ Σύρου, ἑαυτῷ γυναῖκα.

qui cum quadragínta esset annórum, duxit uxórem Rebéccam fíliam Bathuélis Syri de Mesopotámia, sorórem Laban.

ויהי יצחק בן־ארבעים שׁנה בקחתו את־רבקה בת־בתואל הארמי מפדן ארם אחות לבן הארמי לו לאשׁה

And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah to wife, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Padanaram, the sister to Laban the Syrian.

וַיֶּעְתַּ֨ר יִצְחָ֤ק לַֽיהוָה֙ לְנֹ֣כַח אִשְׁתּ֔וֹ כִּ֥י עֲקָרָ֖ה הִ֑וא וַיֵּעָ֤תֶר לוֹ֙ יְהוָ֔ה וַתַּ֖הַר רִבְקָ֥ה אִשְׁתּֽוֹ׃

ἐδεῖτο δὲ Ἰσαὰκ Κυρίου περὶ Ῥεβέκκας τῆς γυναικὸς αὐτοῦ, ὅτι στεῖρα ἦν · ἐπήκουσεν δὲ αὐτοῦ ὁ θεός, καὶ ἔλαβεν ἐν γαστρὶ Ῥεβέκκα ἡ γυνὴ αὐτοῦ.

Deprecatúsque est Isaac Dóminum pro uxóre sua, eo quod esset stérilis: qui exaudívit eum, et dedit concéptum Rebéccæ.

ויעתר יצחק אל יהוה לנכח אשׁתו כי עקרה היא ויעתר לו יהוה ותהר רבקה אשׁתו

And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she [was] barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

וַיִּתְרֹֽצֲצ֤וּ הַבָּנִים֙ בְּקִרְבָּ֔הּ וַתֹּ֣אמֶר אִם־כֵּ֔ן לָ֥מָּה זֶּ֖ה אָנֹ֑כִי וַתֵּ֖לֶךְ לִדְרֹ֥שׁ אֶת־יְהוָֽה׃

ἐσκίρτων δὲ τὰ παιδία ἐν αὐτῇ · εἶπεν δέ Εἰ οὕτως μοι μέλλει γίνεσθαι, ἵνα τί μοι τοῦτο; ἐπορεύθη δὲ πυθέσθαι παρὰ Κυρίου.

Sed collidebántur in útero eius párvuli: quæ ait: Si sic mihi futúrum erat, quid necésse fuit concípere? perrexítque ut consúleret Dóminum.

ויתרצצו הבנים בקרבה ותאמר אם־כן למה זה אנכי ותלך לדרשׁ את־יהוה

And the children struggled together within her; and she said, If [it be] so, why [am] I thus? And she went to inquire of the LORD.

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר יְהוָ֜ה לָ֗הּ שְׁנֵ֤י גיים בְּבִטְנֵ֔ךְ וּשְׁנֵ֣י לְאֻמִּ֔ים מִמֵּעַ֖יִךְ יִפָּרֵ֑דוּ וּלְאֹם֙ מִלְאֹ֣ם יֶֽאֱמָ֔ץ וְרַ֖ב יַעֲבֹ֥ד צָעִֽיר׃

καὶ εἶπεν Κύριος αὐτῇ Δύο ἔθνη ἐν τῇ γαστρί σού εἰσιν, καὶ δύο λαοὶ ἐκ τῆς κοιλίας σου διασταλήσονται · καὶ λαὸς λαοῦ ὑπερέξει, καὶ ὁ μείζων δουλεύσει τῷ ἐλάσσονι.

Qui respóndens ait: Duæ gentes sunt in útero tuo, et duo pópuli ex ventre tuo dividéntur, populúsque pópulum superábit, et maior sérviet minóri.

ויאמר יהוה לה שׁני גוים בבטנך ושׁני לאמים ממעיך יפרדו ולאם מלאם יאמץ ורב יעבד צעיר

And the LORD said unto her, Two nations [are] in thy womb, and two manner of people shall be separated from thy bowels; and [the one] people shall be stronger than [the other] people; and the elder shall serve the younger.

וַיִּמְלְא֥וּ יָמֶ֖יהָ לָלֶ֑דֶת וְהִנֵּ֥ה תוֹמִ֖ם בְּבִטְנָֽהּ׃

καὶ ἐπληρώθησαν αἱ ἡμέραι τοῦ τεκεῖν αὐτήν · καὶ τῇδε ἦν δίδυμα ἐν τῇ γαστρὶ αὐτῆς.

Iam tempus pariéndi advénerat, et ecce gémini in útero eius repérti sunt.

וימלאו ימיה ללדת והנה תאמים בבטנה

And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, [there were] twins in her womb.

וַיֵּצֵ֤א הָרִאשׁוֹן֙ אַדְמוֹנִ֔י כֻּלּ֖וֹ כְּאַדֶּ֣רֶת שֵׂעָ֑ר וַיִּקְרְא֥וּ שְׁמ֖וֹ עֵשָֽׂו׃

ἐξῆλθεν δὲ ὁ υἱὸς ὁ πρωτότοκος πυρράκης, ὅλος ὡσεὶ δορὰ δασύς · ἐπωνόμασεν δὲ τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ Ἠσαύ.

καὶ εἶπεν Ἠσαὺ τῷ Ἰακώβ Γεῦσόν με ἀπὸ τοῦ ἑψέματος τοῦ πυρροῦ τούτου, ὅτι ἐκλείπω ἐγώ · διὰ τοῦτο ἐκλήθη τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ Ἐδώμ.
