וַיִּקְרָ֥א יַעֲקֹ֖ב אֶל בָּנָ֑י־ו וַיֹּ֗אמֶר הֵאָֽסְפוּ֙ וְאַגִּ֣ידָה לָכֶ֔ם אֵ֛ת אֲשֶׁר־יִקְרָ֥א אֶתְכֶ֖ם בְּאַחֲרִ֥ית הַיָּמִֽים׃

Ἐκάλεσεν δὲ Ἰακὼβ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς Συνάχθητε, ἵνα ἀναγγείλω ὑμῖν τί ἀπαντήσει ὑμῖν ἐπ᾽ ἐσχάτων τῶν ἡμέρων.

Vocávit autem Iacob fílios suos, et ait eis: Congregámini, ut annúntiem quæ ventúra sunt vobis in diébus novíssimis.

And Jacob called unto his sons, and said, Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you [that] which shall befall you in the last days.

Effúsus es sicut aqua, non crescas: quia ascendísti cubíle patris tui, et maculásti stratum eius.

Unstable as water, thou shalt not excel; because thou wentest up to thy father ’s bed; then defiledst thou [it]: he went up to my couch.

O my soul, come not thou into their secret; unto their assembly, mine honour, be not thou united: for in their anger they slew a man, and in their selfwill they digged down a wall.

οὐκ ἐκλείψει ἄρχων ἐξ Ἰούδα, καὶ ἡγούμενος ἐκ τῶν μηρῶν αὐτοῦ, ἕως ἂν ἔλθῃ τὰ ἀποκείμενα αὐτῷ, καὶ αὐτὸς προσδοκία ἐθνῶν.

καὶ συνετρίβη μετὰ κράτους τὰ τόξα αὐτῶν, καὶ ἐξελύθη τὰ νεῦρα βραχιόνων χειρὸς αὐτῶν, διὰ χεῖρα δυνάστου Ἰακώβ · ἐκεῖθεν ὁ κατισχύσας Ἰσραήλ · παρὰ θεοῦ τοῦ πατρός σου.

Sedit in forti arcus eius, et dissolúta sunt víncula brachiórum et mánuum illíus per manus poténtis Iacob: inde pastor egréssus est, lapis Israel.

καὶ ἐβοήθησέν σοι ὁ θεὸς ὁ ἐμός, καὶ εὐλόγησέν σε εὐλογίαν οὐρανοῦ ἄνωθεν, καὶ εὐλογίαν γῆς ἐχούσης πάντα · ἕνεκεν εὐλογίας μαστῶν καὶ μήτρας,

Deus patris tui erit adiútor tuus, et omnípotens benedícet tibi benedictiónibus cæli désuper, benedictiónibus abýssi iacéntis deórsum, benedictiónibus úberum et vulvæ.
