וַיֹּ֤אמֶר יְהוָה֙ לְנֹ֔חַ בֹּֽא־אַתָּ֥ה וְכָל בֵּיתְ־ךָ֖ אֶל הַ־תֵּבָ֑ה כִּֽי אֹתְ־ךָ֥ רָאִ֛יתִי צַדִּ֥יק לְפָנַ֖י בַּדּ֥וֹר הַזֶּֽה׃

Καὶ εἶπεν Κύριος ὁ θεὸς πρὸς Νῶε Εἴσελθε σὺ καὶ πᾶς ὁ οἶκός σου εἰς τὴν κιβωτόν, ὅτι σὲ ἴδον δίκαιον ἐναντίον μου ἐν τῇ γενεᾷ ταύτῃ.

Dixítque Dóminus ad eum: Ingrédere tu, et omnis domus tua in arcam: te enim vidi iustum coram me in generatióne hac.

ויאמר אלהים אל נח בא־אתה וכל ביתך אל התבה כי אתך ראיתי צדיק לפני בדור הזה

And the LORD said unto Noah, Come thou and all thy house into the ark; for thee have I seen righteous before me in this generation.

מִכֹּ֣ל ׀ הַבְּהֵמָ֣ה הַטְּהוֹרָ֗ה תִּֽקַּח לְ־ךָ֛ שִׁבְעָ֥ה שִׁבְעָ֖ה אִ֣ישׁ וְאִשְׁתּ֑וֹ וּמִן הַ־בְּהֵמָ֡ה אֲ֠שֶׁר לֹ֣א טְהֹרָ֥ה הִ֛וא שְׁנַ֖יִם אִ֥ישׁ וְאִשְׁתּֽוֹ׃

ἀπὸ δὲ τῶν κτηνῶν τῶν καθαρῶν εἰσάγαγε πρὸς σὲ ἑπτὰ ἑπτὰ ἄρσεν καὶ θῆλυ, ἀπὸ δὲ τῶν κτηνῶν τῶν μὴ καθαρῶν δύο δύο ἄρσεν καὶ θῆλυ ·

Ex ómnibus animántibus mundis tolle septéna et septéna, másculum et féminam: de animántibus vero immúndis duo et duo, másculum et féminam.

מכל הבהמה הטהרה תקח לך שׁבעה שׁבעה זכר ונקבה ומן הבהמה אשׁר לא טהרה היא שׁנים שׁנים זכר ונקבה

Of every clean beast thou shalt take to thee by sevens, the male and his female: and of beasts that [are] not clean by two, the male and his female.

גַּ֣ם מֵע֧וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֛יִם שִׁבְעָ֥ה שִׁבְעָ֖ה זָכָ֣ר וּנְקֵבָ֑ה לְחַיּ֥וֹת זֶ֖רַע עַל־פְּנֵ֥י כָל הָ־אָֽרֶץ׃

καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν πετεινῶν τοῦ οὐρανοῦ τῶν καθαρῶν ἑπτὰ ἑπτὰ ἄρσεν καὶ θῆλυ, καὶ ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν πετεινῶν τῶν μὴ καθαρῶν δύο δύο ἄρσεν καὶ θῆλυ, διαθρέψαι σπέρμα ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν.

Sed et de volatílibus cæli septéna et septéna, másculum et féminam: ut salvétur semen super fáciem univérsæ terræ.

וגם מעוף השׁמים הטהור שׁבעה שׁבעה זכר ונקבה להחיות זרע על־פני כל הארץ

Of fowls also of the air by sevens, the male and the female; to keep seed alive upon the face of all the earth.

כִּי֩ לְיָמִ֨ים ע֜וֹד שִׁבְעָ֗ה אָֽנֹכִי֙ מַמְטִ֣יר עַל הָ־אָ֔רֶץ אַרְבָּעִ֣ים י֔וֹם וְאַרְבָּעִ֖ים לָ֑יְלָה וּמָחִ֗יתִי אֶֽת־כָּל הַ־יְקוּם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשִׂ֔יתִי מֵעַ֖ל פְּנֵ֥י הָֽאֲדָמָֽה׃

ἔτι γὰρ ἡμερῶν ἑπτὰ ἐγὼ ἐπάγω ὑετὸν ἐπὶ τὴν γῆν τεσσεράκοντα ἡμέρας καὶ τεσσεράκοντα νύκτας, καὶ ἐξαλείψω πᾶν τὸ ἀνάστεμα ὃ ἐποίησα ἀπὸ προσώπου τῆς γῆς.

Adhuc enim, et post dies septem ego pluam super terram quadragínta diébus et quadragínta nóctibus: et delébo omnem substántiam, quam feci, de superfície terræ.

כי לימים עוד שׁבעה אנכי ממטיר על הארץ ארבעים יום וארבעים לילה ומחיתי את־כל היקום אשׁר עשׂיתי מעל פני האדמה
4
For yet seven days, and I will cause it to rain upon the earth forty days and forty nights; and every living substance that I have made will I destroy from off the face of the earth.

וַיַּ֖עַשׂ נֹ֑חַ כְּכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר צִוָּ֖־הוּ יְהוָֽה׃

καὶ ἐποίησεν Νῶε πάντα ὅσα ἐνετείλατο αὐτῷ Κύριος ὁ θεός.

Fecit ergo Noe ómnia, quæ mandáverat ei Dóminus.

ויעשׂ נח ככל אשׁר צוהו יהוה

And Noah did according unto all that the LORD commanded him.

וְנֹ֕חַ בֶּן־שֵׁ֥שׁ מֵא֖וֹת שָׁנָ֑ה וְהַמַּבּ֣וּל הָיָ֔ה מַ֖יִם עַל הָ־אָֽרֶץ׃

Νῶε δὲ ἦν ἐτῶν ἑξακοσίων καὶ ὁ κατακλυσμὸς ἦν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς.

Erátque sexcentórum annórum quando dilúvii aquæ inundavérunt super terram.

ונח בן־שׁשׁ מאות שׁנה והמבול היה מים על הארץ

And Noah [was] six hundred years old when the flood of waters was upon the earth.

וַיָּ֣בֹא נֹ֗חַ וּ֠בָנָיו וְאִשְׁתּ֧וֹ וּנְשֵֽׁי בָנָ֛י־ו אִתּ֖וֹ אֶל הַ־תֵּבָ֑ה מִפְּנֵ֖י מֵ֥י הַמַּבּֽוּל׃

εἰσῆλθεν δὲ Νῶε καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἡ γυνὴ αὐτοῦ καὶ αἱ γυναῖκες τῶν υἱῶν αὐτοῦ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ εἰς τὴν κιβωτόν διὰ τὸ ὕδωρ τοῦ κατακλυσμοῦ.

Et ingréssus est Noe et fílii eius, uxor eius et uxóres filiórum eius cum eo in arcam propter aquas dilúvii.

ויבא נח ובניו ואשׁתו ונשׁי בניו אתו אל התבה מפני מי המבול

And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons ’ wives with him, into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.

מִן הַ־בְּהֵמָה֙ הַטְּהוֹרָ֔ה וּמִן הַ֨־בְּהֵמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֵינֶ֖נָּה טְהֹרָ֑ה וּמִ֨ן הָ־ע֔וֹף וְכֹ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־רֹמֵ֖שׂ עַל הָֽ־אֲדָמָֽה׃

καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν πετεινῶν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν κτηνῶν τῶν καθαρῶν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν κτηνῶν τῶν μὴ καθαρῶν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν πετεινῶν καὶ ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἑρπετῶν τῶν ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς

De animántibus quoque mundis et immúndis, et de volúcribus, et ex omni, quod movétur super terram,

מן הבהמה הטהרה ומן הבהמה אשׁר איננה טהרה ומן העוף ומכל אשׁר־רמשׂ על האדמה

Of clean beasts, and of beasts that [are] not clean, and of fowls, and of every thing that creepeth upon the earth,

שְׁנַ֨יִם שְׁנַ֜יִם בָּ֧אוּ אֶל־נֹ֛חַ אֶל הַ־תֵּבָ֖ה זָכָ֣ר וּנְקֵבָ֑ה כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה אֱלֹהִ֖ים אֶת־נֹֽחַ׃

δύο δύο εἰσῆλθον πρὸς Νῶε εἰς τὴν κιβωτόν, ἄρσεν καὶ θῆλυ, καθὰ ἐνετείλατο αὐτῷ ὁ θεός.

duo et duo ingréssa sunt ad Noe in arcam, másculus et fémina, sicut præcéperat Dóminus Noe.

שׁנים שׁנים באו אל־נח אל התבה זכר ונקבה כאשׁר צוה יהוה את־נח

There went in two and two unto Noah into the ark, the male and the female, as God had commanded Noah.

וַֽיְהִ֖י לְשִׁבְעַ֣ת הַיָּמִ֑ים וּמֵ֣י הַמַּבּ֔וּל הָי֖וּ עַל הָ־אָֽרֶץ׃

Καὶ ἐγένετο μετὰ τὰς ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας καὶ τὸ ὕδωρ τοῦ κατακλυσμοῦ ἐγένετο ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς.

Cumque transíssent septem dies, aquæ dilúvii inundavérunt super terram.

And it came to pass after seven days, that the waters of the flood were upon the earth.

בִּשְׁנַ֨ת שֵׁשׁ־מֵא֤וֹת שָׁנָה֙ לְחַיֵּי־נֹ֔חַ בַּחֹ֨דֶשׁ֙ הַשֵּׁנִ֔י בְּשִׁבְעָֽה־עָשָׂ֥ר י֖וֹם לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ בַּיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֗ה נִבְקְעוּ֙ כָּֽל־מַעְיְנֹת֙ תְּה֣וֹם רַבָּ֔ה וַאֲרֻבֹּ֥ת הַשָּׁמַ֖יִם נִפְתָּֽחוּ׃

ἐν τῷ ἑξακοσιοστῷ ἔτει ἐν τῇ ζωῇ τοῦ Νῶε τοῦ δευτέρου μηνός, ἑβδόμῃ καὶ εἰκάδι τοῦ μηνός, τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ταύτῃ ἐρράγησαν πᾶσαι αἱ πηγαὶ τῆς ἀβύσσου, καὶ οἱ καταράκται τοῦ οὐρανοῦ ἠνεῴχθησαν ·

Anno sexcentésimo vitæ Noe, mense secúndo, séptimo décimo die mensis, rupti sunt omnes fontes abýssi magnæ, et cataráctæ cæli apértæ sunt:

בשׁנת השׁשׁ־מאות שׁנה לחיי־נח בחדשׁ השׁני בשׁבעה־עשׂר יום לחדשׁ ביום הזה נבקעו כל מעינות תהום רבה וארבות השׁמים נפתחו

In the six hundredth year of Noah ’s life, in the second month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day were all the fountains of the great deep broken up, and the windows of heaven were opened.

וַֽיְהִ֥י הַגֶּ֖שֶׁם עַל הָ־אָ֑רֶץ אַרְבָּעִ֣ים י֔וֹם וְאַרְבָּעִ֖ים לָֽיְלָה׃

καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ ὑετὸς ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς τεσσεράκοντα ἡμέρας καὶ τεσσεράκοντα νύκτας.

et facta est plúvia super terram quadragínta diébus et quadragínta nóctibus.

ויהי הגשׁם על הארץ ארבעים יום וארבעים לילה

And the rain was upon the earth forty days and forty nights.

בְּעֶ֨צֶם הַיּ֤וֹם הַזֶּה֙ בָּ֣א נֹ֔חַ וְשֵׁם וְ־חָ֥ם וָיֶ֖פֶת בְּנֵי־נֹ֑חַ וְאֵ֣שֶׁת נֹ֗חַ וּשְׁלֹ֧שֶׁת נְשֵֽׁי בָנָ֛י־ו אִתָּ֖ם אֶל הַ־תֵּבָֽה׃

Ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ταύτῃ εἰσῆλθεν Νῶε, Σήμ, Χάμ, Ἰάφεθ, υἱοὶ Νῶε, καὶ ἡ γυνὴ Νῶε καὶ αἱ τρεῖς γυναῖκες τῶν υἱῶν αὐτοῦ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ εἰς τὴν κιβωτόν.

In artículo diéi illíus ingréssus est Noe, et Sem, et Cham, et Iapheth fílii eius: uxor illíus, et tres uxóres filiórum eius cum eis in arcam:

בעצם היום הזה בא נח שׁם חם ויפת בני־נח ואשׁת נח ושׁלשׁת נשׁי בניו אתם אל התבה

In the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah ’s wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;

הֵ֜מָּה וְכָל הַֽ־חַיָּ֣ה לְמִינָ֗הּ וְכָל הַ־בְּהֵמָה֙ לְמִינָ֔הּ וְכָל הָ־רֶ֛מֶשׂ הָרֹמֵ֥שׂ עַל הָ־אָ֖רֶץ לְמִינֵ֑הוּ וְכָל הָ־ע֣וֹף לְמִינֵ֔הוּ כֹּ֖ל צִפּ֥וֹר כָּל־כָּנָֽף׃

καὶ πάντα τὰ θηρία κατὰ γένος καὶ πάντα τὰ κτήνη κατὰ γένος καὶ πᾶν ἑρπετὸν κινούμενον ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς κατὰ γένος καὶ πᾶν πετεινὸν κατὰ γένος

ipsi et omne ánimal secúndum genus suum, universáque iuménta in génere suo, et omne quod movétur super terram in génere suo, cunctúmque volátile secúndum genus suum, univérsæ aves, omnésque vólucres

הם וכל החיה למינה וכל הבהמה למינה וכל הרמשׂ הרמשׂ על הארץ למינהו וכל העוף למינהו כל צפור כל־כנף

They, and every beast after his kind, and all the cattle after their kind, and every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind, and every fowl after his kind, every bird of every sort.

וַיָּבֹ֥אוּ אֶל־נֹ֖חַ אֶל הַ־תֵּבָ֑ה שְׁנַ֤יִם שְׁנַ֨יִם֙ מִכָּל הַ־בָּשָׂ֔ר אֲשֶׁר בּ֖־וֹ ר֥וּחַ חַיִּֽים׃

εἰσῆλθον πρὸς Νῶε εἰς τὴν κιβωτόν, δύο δύο ἄρσεν καὶ θῆλυ ἀπὸ πάσης σαρκὸς ἐν ᾧ ἐστὶν πνεῦμα ζωῆς.

וְהַבָּאִ֗ים זָכָ֨ר וּנְקֵבָ֤ה מִכָּל־בָּשָׂר֙ בָּ֔אוּ כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה אֹת֖וֹ אֱלֹהִ֑ים וַיִּסְגֹּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה בַּֽעֲדֽוֹ׃

καὶ τὰ εἰσπορευόμενα ἄρσεν καὶ θῆλυ ἀπὸ πάσης σαρκὸς εἰσῆλθεν, καθὰ ἐνετείλατο ὁ θεὸς τῷ Νῶε · καὶ ἔκλεισεν Κύριος ὁ θεὸς τὴν κιβωτόν ἔξωθεν αὐτοῦ.

Et quæ ingréssa sunt, másculus et fémina ex omni carne introiérunt, sicut præcéperat ei Deus: et inclúsit eum Dóminus déforis.

והבאים זכר ונקבה זכר ונקבה מכל־בשׂר באו כאשׁר צוה אתו אלהים ויסגר יהוה בעדו

And they that went in, went in male and female of all flesh, as God had commanded him: and the LORD shut him in.

וַֽיְהִ֧י הַמַּבּ֛וּל אַרְבָּעִ֥ים י֖וֹם עַל הָ־אָ֑רֶץ וַיִּרְבּ֣וּ הַמַּ֗יִם וַיִּשְׂאוּ֙ אֶת הַ־תֵּבָ֔ה וַתָּ֖רָם מֵעַ֥ל הָאָֽרֶץ׃
17
Καὶ ἐγένετο ὁ κατακλυσμὸς ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς τεσσεράκοντα ἡμέρας καὶ τεσσεράκοντα νύκτας ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς · καὶ ἐπληθύνθη τὸ ὕδωρ καὶ ἐπῆρεν τὴν κιβωτόν, καὶ ὑψώθη ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς.

Factúmque est dilúvium quadragínta diébus super terram: et multiplicátæ sunt aquæ, et elevavérunt arcam in sublíme a terra.

ויהי המבול ארבעים יום על הארץ וירבו המים וישׂאו את התבה ותרם מעל הארץ

And the flood was forty days upon the earth; and the waters increased, and bare up the ark, and it was lift up above the earth.

וַיִּגְבְּר֥וּ הַמַּ֛יִם וַיִּרְבּ֥וּ מְאֹ֖ד עַל הָ־אָ֑רֶץ וַתֵּ֥לֶךְ הַתֵּבָ֖ה עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הַמָּֽיִם׃

καὶ ἐπεκράτει τὸ ὕδωρ καὶ ἐπληθύνετο σφόδρα ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς · καὶ ἐπεφέρετο ἡ κιβωτὸς ἐπάνω τοῦ ὕδατος.

Veheménter enim inundavérunt, et ómnia replevérunt in superfície terræ: porro arca ferebátur super aquas.

ויגברו המים וירבו מאד על הארץ ותלך התבה על־פני המים

And the waters prevailed, and were increased greatly upon the earth; and the ark went upon the face of the waters.

וְהַמַּ֗יִם גָּֽבְר֛וּ מְאֹ֥ד מְאֹ֖ד עַל הָ־אָ֑רֶץ וַיְכֻסּ֗וּ כָּל הֶֽ־הָרִים֙ הַגְּבֹהִ֔ים אֲשֶׁר־תַּ֖חַת כָּל הַ־שָּׁמָֽיִם׃
19
τὸ δὲ ὕδωρ ἐπεκράτει σφόδρα σφοδρῶς ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, καὶ ἐπεκάλυψεν πάντα τὰ ὄρη τὰ ὑψηλὰ ἃ ἦν ὑποκάτω τοῦ οὐρανοῦ.

Et aquæ prævaluérunt nimis super terram: opertíque sunt omnes montes excélsi sub univérso cælo.

והמים גברו מאד מאד על הארץ ויכסו כל ההרים הגבחים אשׁר־תחת כל השׁמים

And the waters prevailed exceedingly upon the earth; and all the high hills, that [were] under the whole heaven, were covered.

חֲמֵ֨שׁ עֶשְׂרֵ֤ה אַמָּה֙ מִלְמַ֔עְלָה גָּבְר֖וּ הַמָּ֑יִם וַיְכֻסּ֖וּ הֶהָרִֽים׃

δέκα πέντε πήχεις ἐπάνω ὑψώθη τὸ ὕδωρ, καὶ ἐπεκάλυψεν πάντα τὰ ὄρη τὰ ὑψηλά.

Quíndecim cúbitis áltior fuit aqua super montes, quos operúerat.

חמשׁ עשׂרה אמה מלמעלה גברו המים ויכסו ההרים

Fifteen cubits upward did the waters prevail; and the mountains were covered.

וַיִּגְוַ֞ע כָּל־בָּשָׂ֣ר ׀ הָרֹמֵ֣שׂ עַל הָ־אָ֗רֶץ בָּע֤וֹף וּבַבְּהֵמָה֙ וּבַ֣חַיָּ֔ה וּבְכָל הַ־שֶּׁ֖רֶץ הַשֹּׁרֵ֣ץ עַל הָ־אָ֑רֶץ וְכֹ֖ל הָאָדָֽם׃
21
καὶ ἀπέθανεν πᾶσα σὰρξ κινουμένη ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς τῶν πετεινῶν καὶ τῶν κτηνῶν καὶ τῶν θηρίων, καὶ πᾶν ἑρπετὸν κινούμενον ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς, καὶ πᾶς ἄνθρωπος ·

Consumptáque est omnis caro quæ movebátur super terram, vólucrum, animántium, bestiárum, omniúmque reptílium, quæ reptant super terram: univérsi hómines,

ויגוע כל־בשׂר הרמשׂ על הארץ בעוף ובבהמה ובחיה ובכל השׁרץ השׁרץ על הארץ וכל האדם

And all flesh died that moved upon the earth, both of fowl, and of cattle, and of beast, and of every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth, and every man:

כֹּ֡ל אֲשֶׁר֩ נִשְׁמַת־ר֨וּחַ חַיִּ֜ים בְּאַפָּ֗יו מִכֹּ֛ל אֲשֶׁ֥ר בֶּחָֽרָבָ֖ה מֵֽתוּ׃
22
καὶ πάντα ὅσα ἔχει πνοὴν ζωῆς καὶ πᾶς ὃς ἦν ἐπὶ τῆς ξηρᾶς ἀπέθανεν.

et cuncta, in quibus spiráculum vitæ est in terra, mórtua sunt.

כל אשׁר נשׁמת־רוח חיים באפיו מכל אשׁר בחרבה מתו

All in whose nostrils [was] the breath of life, of all that [was] in the dry [land], died.

וַיִּ֜מַח אֶֽת־כָּל הַ־יְק֣וּם ׀ אֲשֶׁ֣ר ׀ עַל־פְּנֵ֣י הָֽאֲדָמָ֗ה מֵאָדָ֤ם עַד־בְּהֵמָה֙ עַד־רֶ֨מֶשׂ֙ וְעַד־ע֣וֹף הַשָּׁמַ֔יִם וַיִּמָּח֖וּ מִן הָ־אָ֑רֶץ וַיִשָּׁ֧אֶר אַךְ־נֹ֛חַ וַֽאֲשֶׁ֥ר אִתּ֖וֹ בַּתֵּבָֽה׃

καὶ ἐξήλειψεν πᾶν τὸ ἀνάστεμα ὃ ἦν ἐπὶ προσώπου πάσης τῆς γῆς, ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπου ἕως κτήνους καὶ ἑρπετῶν καὶ τῶν πετεινῶν τοῦ οὐρανοῦ · καὶ ἐξηλείφθησαν ἀπὸ τῆς γῆς. καὶ κατελείφθη μόνος Νῶε καὶ οἱ μετ᾽ αὐτοῦ ἐν τῇ κιβωτῷ.

Et delévit omnem substántiam, quæ erat super terram, ab hómine usque ad pecus, tam réptile quam vólucres cæli: et deléta sunt de terra. Remánsit autem solus Noe, et qui cum eo erant in arca.

וימח את־כל היקום אשׁר על־פני האדמה מאדם עד־בהמה עד־רמשׂ עד־עוף השׁמים וימחו מן הארץ וישׁאר אך־נח ואשׁר אתו בתבה

And every living substance was destroyed which was upon the face of the ground, both man, and cattle, and the creeping things, and the fowl of the heaven; and they were destroyed from the earth: and Noah only remained [alive], and they that [were] with him in the ark.

וַיִּגְבְּר֥וּ הַמַּ֖יִם עַל הָ־אָ֑רֶץ חֲמִשִּׁ֥ים וּמְאַ֖ת יֽוֹם׃

καὶ ὑψώθη τὸ ὕδωρ ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς ἡμέρας ἑκατὸν πεντήκοντα.
