ה֣וֹי הַיֹּרְדִ֤ים מִצְרַ֨יִם֙ לְעֶזְרָ֔ה עַל־סוּסִ֖ים יִשָּׁעֵ֑נוּ וַיִּבְטְח֨וּ עַל־רֶ֜כֶב כִּ֣י רָ֗ב וְעַ֤ל פָּֽרָשִׁים֙ כִּֽי־עָצְמ֣וּ מְאֹ֔ד וְלֹ֤א שָׁעוּ֙ עַל־קְד֣וֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְאֶת־יְהוָ֖ה לֹ֥א דָרָֽשׁוּ׃

Οὐαὶ οἱ καταβαίνοντες εἰς Αἴγυπτον ἐπὶ βοήθειαν, οἱ ἐφ᾽ ἵπποις πεποιθότες καὶ ἐφ᾽ ἅρμασιν · ἔστιν γὰρ πολλά, καὶ ἐφ᾽ ἵπποις πλῆθος σφόδρα · καὶ οὐκ ἦσαν πεποιθότες ἐπὶ τὸν ἅγιον τοῦ Ἰσραήλ, καὶ τὸν κύριον οὐκ ἐζήτησαν.

Væ qui descéndunt in Ægýptum ad auxílium, in equis sperántes, et habéntes fidúciam super quadrígis, quia multæ sunt: et super equítibus, quia præválidi nimis: et non sunt confísi super sanctum Israel, et Dóminum non requisiérunt.

Woe to them that go down to Egypt for help; and stay on horses, and trust in chariots, because [they are] many; and in horsemen, because they are very strong; but they look not unto the Holy One of Israel, neither seek the LORD!

הוי היורדים למצרים לעזרה על־סוסים ישענו ויבטחו על הרכב כי רב ועל פרשים כי־עצמו מאד׳ה ולוא שעו אל קדוש ישראל ואת־יהוה לוא דרשו ׃

וְגַם־ה֤וּא חָכָם֙ וַיָּ֣בֵא רָ֔ע וְאֶת דְּבָרָ֖י־ו לֹ֣א הֵסִ֑יר וְקָם֙ עַל־בֵּ֣ית מְרֵעִ֔ים וְעַל־עֶזְרַ֖ת פֹּ֥עֲלֵי אָֽוֶן׃

καὶ αὐτὸς σοφὸς ἦγεν ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς κακά, καὶ ὁ λόγος αὐτοῦ οὐ μὴ ἀθετηθῇ, καὶ ἐπαναστήσεται ἐπ᾽ οἴκους ἀνθρώπων πονηρῶν καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν ἐλπίδα αὐτῶν τὴν ματαίαν,

Ipse autem sápiens addúxit malum, et verba sua non ábstulit: et consúrget contra domum pessimórum, et contra auxílium operántium iniquitátem.

וּמִצְרַ֤יִם אָדָם֙ וְֽלֹא־אֵ֔ל וְסוּסֵיהֶ֥ם בָּשָׂ֖ר וְלֹא־ר֑וּחַ וַֽיהוָ֞ה יַטֶּ֣ה יָד֗וֹ וְכָשַׁ֤ל עוֹזֵר֙ וְנָפַ֣ל עָזֻ֔ר וְיַחְדָּ֖ו כֻּלָּ֥ם יִכְלָיֽוּן׃ ס

Αἰγύπτιον ἄνθρωπον καὶ οὐ θεόν, ἵππων σάρκας καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν βοήθεια · ὁ δὲ κύριος ἐπάξει τὴν χεῖρα αὐτοῦ ἐπ᾽ αὐτούς, καὶ κοπιάσουσιν οἱ βοηθοῦντες, καὶ ἅμα πάντες ἀπολοῦνται.

Now the Egyptians [are] men, and not God; and their horses flesh, and not spirit. When the LORD shall stretch out his hand, both he that helpeth shall fall, and he that is holpen shall fall down, and they all shall fail together.

כִּ֣י כֹ֣ה אָֽמַר־יְהוָ֣ה ׀ אֵלַ֡י כַּאֲשֶׁ֣ר יֶהְגֶּה֩ הָאַרְיֵ֨ה וְהַכְּפִ֜יר עַל טַרְפּ֗־וֹ אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִקָּרֵ֤א עָלָיו֙ מְלֹ֣א רֹעִ֔ים מִקּוֹלָם֙ לֹ֣א יֵחָ֔ת וּמֵֽהֲמוֹנָ֖ם לֹ֣א יַֽעֲנֶ֑ה כֵּ֗ן יֵרֵד֙ יְהוָ֣ה צְבָא֔וֹת לִצְבֹּ֥א עַל־הַר־צִיּ֖וֹן וְעַל גִּבְעָתָֽ־הּ׃

ὅτι οὕτως εἶπέν μοι Κύριος Ὃν τρόπον βοήσῃ ὁ λέων ἢ ὁ σκύμνος ἐπὶ τῇ θήρᾳ ᾗ ἔλαβεν, καὶ κεκράξῃ ἐπ᾽ αὐτῇ ἕως ἐμπλησθῇ τὰ ὄρη τῆς φωνῆς αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἡττήθησαν καὶ τὸ πλῆθος τοῦ θυμοῦ ἐπτοήθησαν, οὕτως καταβήσεται Κύριος σαβαὼθ ἐπιστρατεῦσαι ἐπὶ τὸ ὄρος τὸ Σειών, ἐπὶ τὰ ὄρη αὐτῆς.

Quia hæc dicit Dóminus ad me: Quómodo si rúgiat leo et cátulus leónis super prædam suam: et cum occúrrerit ei multitúdo pastórum, a voce eórum non formidábit, et a multitúdine eórum non pavébit: sic descéndet Dóminus exercítuum ut prœliétur super montem Sion, et super collem eius.

For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, [he] will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.

כי כה אמר־יהוה אל׳י כאשר יהגה (^ ה ^)אריה והכפיר על טרפ׳יו אשר יקרא אלי׳ו מלאו ר(^ ו ^)עים מקול׳ם לוא יחת ומהמונ׳ם לוא {{ יחת }} יענה כן ירד יהוה צבאות לצבא על־הר־ציון ועל גבעת׳ה ׃

כְּצִפֳּרִ֣ים עָפ֔וֹת כֵּ֗ן יָגֵ֛ן יְהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת עַל־יְרֽוּשָׁלִָ֑ם גָּנ֥וֹן וְהִצִּ֖יל פָּסֹ֥חַ וְהִמְלִֽיט׃
5
ὡς ὄρνεα πετόμενα, οὕτως ὑπερασπιεῖ Κύριος σαβαώθ, ὑπὲρ Ἰερουσαλὴμ ὑπερασπιεῖ καὶ ἐξελεῖται, καὶ περιποιήσεται καὶ σώσει.

Sicut aves volántes, sic próteget Dóminus exercítuum Ierúsalem, prótegens et líberans, tránsiens et salvans.

כצפורים עפות כן יגן יהוה צבאות על־ירושלם גנון והציל ופסח והפליט ׃

שׁ֗וּבוּ לַאֲשֶׁ֛ר הֶעְמִ֥יקוּ סָרָ֖ה בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

ἐπιστράφητε, οἱ τὴν βαθεῖαν βουλὴν βουλευόμενοι καὶ ἄνομον υἱοὶ Ἰσραήλ.

שוביו לאשר לאשר העמיקו סרה בני ישראל ׃

כִּ֚י בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֔וּא יִמְאָס֗וּן אִ֚ישׁ אֱלִילֵ֣י כַסְפּ֔וֹ וֶאֱלִילֵ֖י זְהָב֑וֹ אֲשֶׁ֨ר עָשׂ֥וּ לָכֶ֛ם יְדֵיכֶ֖ם חֵֽטְא׃
7
ὅτι τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ἀπαρνήσονται οἱ ἄνθρωποι τὰ χειροποίητα αὐτῶν τὰ ἀργυρᾶ καὶ τὰ χειροποίητα τὰ χρυσᾶ ἃ ἐποίησαν αἱ χεῖρες αὐτῶν.

In die enim illa abíciet vir idóla argénti sui, et idóla auri sui, quæ fecérunt vobis manus vestræ in peccátum.

וְנָפַ֤ל אַשּׁוּר֙ בְּחֶ֣רֶב לֹא־אִ֔ישׁ וְחֶ֥רֶב לֹֽא־אָדָ֖ם תֹּֽאכֲלֶ֑נּוּ וְנָ֥ס לוֹ֙ מִפְּנֵי־חֶ֔רֶב וּבַחוּרָ֖יו לָמַ֥ס יִהְיֽוּ׃

καὶ πεσεῖται Ἀσσούρ · οὐ μάχαιρα ἀνδρὸς οὐδὲ μάχαιρα ἀνθρώπου καταφάγεται αὐτόν, καὶ φεύξεται οὐκ ἀπὸ προσώπου μαχαίρας · οἱ δὲ νεανίσκοι ἔσονται εἰς ἥττημα,

Et cadet Assur in gládio non viri, et gládius non hóminis vorábit eum: et fúgiet non a fácie gládii, et iúvenes eius vectigáles erunt.

ונפל אשור בחרב לוא איש וחרב לוא (^ א ^)דמ תאכול׳נו ונס ולוא מפני־חרב ובחורי׳ו למס יהיו ׃

וְסַלְעוֹ֙ מִמָּג֣וֹר יַֽעֲב֔וֹר וְחַתּ֥וּ מִנֵּ֖ס שָׂרָ֑יו נְאֻם־יְהוָ֗ה אֲשֶׁר־א֥וּר לוֹ֙ בְּצִיּ֔וֹן וְתַנּ֥וּר ל֖וֹ בִּירוּשָׁלִָֽם׃ ס

πέτρᾳ γὰρ περιλημφθήσονται ὡς χάρακι καὶ ἡττηθήσονται, ὁ δὲ φεύγων ἁλώσεται. Τάδε λέγει Κύριος Μακάριος ὃς ἔχει ἐν Σειὼν σπέρμα καὶ οἰκείους ἐν Ἰερουσαλήμ.

Et fortitúdo eius a terróre transíbit, et pavébunt fugiéntes príncipes eius, dixit Dóminus: cuius ignis est in Sion, et camínus eius in Ierúsalem.
