הֵ֤ן עַבְדִּי֙ אֶתְמָךְ בּ֔־וֹ בְּחִירִ֖י רָצְתָ֣ה נַפְשִׁ֑י נָתַ֤תִּי רוּחִי֙ עָלָ֔יו מִשְׁפָּ֖ט לַגּוֹיִ֥ם יוֹצִֽיא׃

Ἰακὼβ ὁ παῖς μου, ἀντιλήμψομαι αὐτοῦ · Ἰσραὴλ ὁ ἐκλεκτός μου, προσεδέξατο αὐτὸν ἡ ψυχή μου · ἔδωκα τὸ πνεῦμά μου ἐπ᾽ αὐτόν, κρίσιν τοῖς ἔθνεσιν ἐξοίσει.

Non erit tristis, neque turbuléntus, donec ponat in terra iudícium: et legem eius ínsulæ exspectábunt.

οὕτως λέγει Κύριος ὁ θεὸς ὁ ποιήσας τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ πήξας αὐτόν, ὁ στερεώσας τὴν γῆν καὶ τὰ ἐν αὐτῇ, καὶ διδοὺς πνοὴν τῷ λαῷ τῷ ἐπ᾽ αὐτῆς καὶ πνεῦμα τοῖς πατοῦσιν αὐτήν.

καὶ ἄξω τυφλοὺς ἐν ὁδῷ ᾗ οὐκ ἔγνωσαν, καὶ τρίβους ἃς οὐκ ᾔδεισαν πατῆσαι ποιήσω αὐτούς · ποιήσω αὐτοῖς τὸ σκότος εἰς φῶς, καὶ τὰ σκολιὰ εὐθεῖαν. ταῦτα τὰ ῥήματα ποιήσω καὶ οὐκ ἐγκαταλείψω αὐτούς.

Et ducam cæcos in viam, quam nésciunt, et in sémitis, quas ignoravérunt, ambuláre eos fáciam: ponam ténebras coram eis in lucem, et prava in recta: hæc verba feci eis, et non derelíqui eos.

αὐτοὶ δὲ ἀπεστράφησαν εἰς τὰ ὀπίσω. αἰσχύνθητε αἰσχύνην, οἱ πεποιθότες ἐπὶ τοῖς γλυπτοῖς, οἱ λέγοντες τοῖς χωνευτοῖς Ὑμεῖς ἐστε θεοὶ ἡμῶν.

מִֽי־נָתַ֨ן למשוסה יַעֲקֹ֛ב וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֥ל לְבֹזְזִ֖ים הֲל֣וֹא יְהוָ֑ה ז֚וּ חָטָ֣אנוּ ל֔וֹ וְלֹֽא־אָב֤וּ בִדְרָכָיו֙ הָל֔וֹךְ וְלֹ֥א שָׁמְע֖וּ בְּתוֹרָתֽוֹ׃

οἷς ἔδωκεν εἰς διαρπαγὴν Ἰακὼβ καὶ Ἰσραήλ, τοῖς προνομεύουσιν αὐτόν. οὐχὶ ὁ θεὸς ᾧ ἡμάρτοσαν αὐτῷ, καὶ οὐκ ἐβούλοντο ἐν ταῖς ὁδοῖς αὐτοῦ πορεύεσθαι οὐδὲ ἀκούειν τοῦ νόμου αὐτοῦ;

Quis dedit in direptiónem Iacob, et Israel vastántibus? nonne Dóminus ipse, cui peccávimus? Et noluérunt in viis eius ambuláre, et non audiérunt legem eius.

Who gave Jacob for a spoil, and Israel to the robbers? did not the LORD, he against whom we have sinned? for they would not walk in his ways, neither were they obedient unto his law.

מיא נתן למשוסה יעקוב וישראל לבו?זזים הלוא יהוה זה חטאנו ל׳ו ולוא אבו בדרכי׳ו להלוך ולוא שמעו בתורת׳יו ׃

וַיִּשְׁפֹּ֤ךְ עָלָיו֙ חֵמָ֣ה אַפּ֔וֹ וֶעֱז֖וּז מִלְחָמָ֑ה וַתְּלַהֲטֵ֤הוּ מִסָּבִיב֙ וְלֹ֣א יָדָ֔ע וַתִּבְעַר בּ֖־וֹ וְלֹא־יָשִׂ֥ים עַל־לֵֽב׃ פ

καὶ ἐπήγαγεν ἐπ᾽ αὐτοὺς ὀργὴν θυμοῦ αὐτοῦ, καὶ κατίσχυσεν αὐτοὺς πόλεμος, καὶ οἱ συμφλέγοντες αὐτοὺς κύκλῳ, καὶ οὐκ ἔγνωσαν ἕκαστος αὐτῶν οὐδὲ ἔθεντο ἐπὶ ψυχήν.

Et effúdit super eum indignatiónem furóris sui, et forte bellum: et combússit eum in circúitu, et non cognóvit: et succéndit eum, et non intelléxit.

Therefore he hath poured upon him the fury of his anger, and the strength of battle: and it hath set him on fire round about, yet he knew not; and it burned him, yet he laid [it] not to heart.
