וְעַתָּ֥ה שְׁמַ֖ע יַעֲקֹ֣ב עַבְדִּ֑י וְיִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל בָּחַ֥רְתִּי בֽוֹ׃

כִּ֤י אֶצָּק־מַ֨יִם֙ עַל־צָמֵ֔א וְנֹזְלִ֖ים עַל־יַבָּשָׁ֑ה אֶצֹּ֤ק רוּחִי֙ עַל זַרְעֶ֔־ךָ וּבִרְכָתִ֖י עַל צֶאֱצָאֶֽי־ךָ׃

ὅτι ἐγὼ δώσω ὕδωρ ἐν δίψει τοῖς πορευομένοις ἐν ἀνύδρῳ, ἐπιθήσω τὸ πνεῦμά μου ἐπὶ τὸ σπέρμα σου, καὶ τὰς εὐλογίας μου ἐπὶ τὰ τέκνα σου,

וְצָמְח֖וּ בְּבֵ֣ין חָצִ֑יר כַּעֲרָבִ֖ים עַל־יִבְלֵי־מָֽיִם׃

καὶ ἀνατελοῦσιν ὡς ἀνὰ μέσον ὕδατος χόρτος, καὶ ὡς ἰτέα ἐπὶ παραρρέον ὕδωρ.

זֶ֤ה יֹאמַר֙ לַֽיהוָ֣ה אָ֔נִי וְזֶ֖ה יִקְרָ֣א בְשֵֽׁם־יַעֲקֹ֑ב וְזֶ֗ה יִכְתֹּ֤ב יָדוֹ֙ לַֽיהוָ֔ה וּבְשֵׁ֥ם יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל יְכַנֶּֽה׃ פ

Οὕτως λέγει ὁ βασιλεὺς Ἰσραὴλ καὶ ῥυσάμενος αὐτόν, θεὸς σαβαώθ Ἐγὼ πρῶτος καὶ ἐγὼ μετὰ ταῦτα, πλὴν ἐμοῦ οὐκ ἔστιν θεός.

וּמִֽי כָמ֣וֹ־נִי יִקְרָ֗א וְיַגִּידֶ֤הָ וְיַעְרְכֶ֨הָ֙ לִ֔י מִשּׂוּמִ֖י עַם־עוֹלָ֑ם וְאֹתִיּ֛וֹת וַאֲשֶׁ֥ר תָּבֹ֖אנָה יַגִּ֥ידוּ לָֽמוֹ׃

τίς ὥσπερ ἐγώ; στήτω καὶ καλεσάτω καὶ ἀναγγειλάτω, καὶ ἑτοιμασάτω μοι ἀφ᾽ οὗ ἐποίησα ἄνθρωπον εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα, καὶ τὰ ἐπερχόμενα πρὸ τοῦ ἐλθεῖν ἀναγγειλάτωσαν ὑμῖν.

ומיא כמו׳ני יקרא ויגיד׳ה ויערוכ׳הה ל׳ו?א משימ׳ו עמ עולם ואותיות יואמר אשר תבו?אינה יגידו ל׳מו ׃

אַֽל־תִּפְחֲדוּ֙ וְאַל־תִּרְה֔וּ הֲלֹ֥א מֵאָ֛ז הִשְׁמַעְתִּ֥יךָ וְהִגַּ֖דְתִּי וְאַתֶּ֣ם עֵדָ֑י הֲיֵ֤שׁ אֱל֨וֹהַּ֙ מִבַּלְעָדַ֔י וְאֵ֥ין צ֖וּר בַּל־יָדָֽעְתִּי׃

μὴ παρακαλύπτεσθε μηδὲ πλανᾶσθε · οὐκ ἀπ᾽ ἀρχῆς ἠνωτίσασθε, καὶ ἀπήγγειλα ὑμῖν; μάρτυρες ὑμεῖς ἐστε · εἰ ἔστιν θεὸς πλὴν ἐμοῦ; καὶ οὐκ ἤκουσαν τότε.

Nolíte timére, neque conturbémini: ex tunc audíre te feci, et annuntiávi: vos estis testes mei: numquid est Deus absque me, et formátor, quem ego non nóverim?

יֹֽצְרֵי־פֶ֤סֶל כֻּלָּם֙ תֹּ֔הוּ וַחֲמוּדֵיהֶ֖ם בַּל־יוֹעִ֑ילוּ וְעֵדֵיהֶ֣ם הֵׄ֗מָּׄהׄ בַּל־יִרְא֛וּ וּבַל־יֵדְע֖וּ לְמַ֥עַן יֵבֹֽשׁוּ׃

οἱ πλάσσοντες καὶ οἱ γλύφοντες, πάντες μάταια, ποιοῦντες τὰ καταθύμια αὐτῶν ἃ οὐκ ὠφελήσει αὐτούς · ἀλλὰ αἰσχυνθήσονται.

Plastæ idóli omnes nihil sunt, et amantíssima eórum non próderunt eis. Ipsi sunt testes eórum, quia non vident, neque intélligunt, ut confundántur.

מִֽי־יָצַ֥ר אֵ֖ל וּפֶ֣סֶל נָסָ֑ךְ לְבִלְתִּ֖י הוֹעִֽיל׃

מי־יצר אל ופסל נסך לבלתי הועיל ׃

הֵ֤ן כָּל חֲבֵרָי־ו֙ יֵבֹ֔שׁוּ וְחָרָשִׁ֥ים הֵ֖מָּה מֵֽאָדָ֑ם יִֽתְקַבְּצ֤וּ כֻלָּם֙ יַֽעֲמֹ֔דוּ יִפְחֲד֖וּ יֵבֹ֥שׁוּ יָֽחַד׃
11
καὶ πάντες ὅθεν ἐγένοντο ἐξηράνθησαν, καὶ κωφοὶ ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπων · συναχθήτωσαν πάντες καὶ στήτωσαν ἅμα, καὶ ἐντραπήτωσαν καὶ αἰσχυνθήτωσαν ἅμα.

Ecce omnes partícipes eius confundéntur, fabri enim sunt ex homínibus: convénient omnes, stabunt et pavébunt, et confundéntur simul.

חָרַ֤שׁ בַּרְזֶל֙ מַֽעֲצָ֔ד וּפָעַל֙ בַּפֶּחָ֔ם וּבַמַּקָּב֖וֹת יִצְּרֵ֑הוּ וַיִּפְעָלֵ֨הוּ֙ בִּזְר֣וֹעַ כֹּח֔וֹ גַּם־רָעֵב֙ וְאֵ֣ין כֹּ֔חַ לֹא־שָׁ֥תָה מַ֖יִם וַיִּיעָֽף׃

ὅτι ὤξυνεν τέκτων σίδηρον, σκεπάρνῳ εἰργάσατο αὐτὸ καὶ ἐν τερέτρῳ ἔστησεν αὐτό, καὶ εἰργάσατο αὐτὸ ἐν τῷ βραχίονι τῆς ἰσχύος αὐτοῦ · καὶ πεινάσει καὶ ἀσθενήσει καὶ οὐ μὴ πίῃ ὕδωρ.

Faber ferrárius lima operátus est, in prunis et in málleis formávit illud, et operátus est in bráchio fortitúdinis suæ: esúriet et defíciet, non bibet aquam et lasséscet.

חָרַ֣שׁ עֵצִים֮ נָ֣טָה קָו֒ יְתָאֲרֵ֣הוּ בַשֶּׂ֔רֶד יַעֲשֵׂ֨הוּ֙ בַּמַּקְצֻע֔וֹת וּבַמְּחוּגָ֖ה יְתָאֳרֵ֑הוּ וַֽיַּעֲשֵׂ֨הוּ֙ כְּתַבְנִ֣ית אִ֔ישׁ כְּתִפְאֶ֥רֶת אָדָ֖ם לָשֶׁ֥בֶת בָּֽיִת׃

ἐκλεξάμενος τέκτων ξύλον ἔστησεν αὐτὸ ἐν μέτρῳ, καὶ ἐν κόλλῃ ἐρύθμισεν αὐτό, καὶ ἐποίησεν αὐτὸ ὡς μορφὴν ἀνδρὸς καὶ ὡς ὡραιότητα ἀνθρώπου, στῆσαι αὐτὸ ἐν οἴκῳ.

לִכְרָת ל֣־וֹ אֲרָזִ֔ים וַיִּקַּ֤ח תִּרְזָה֙ וְאַלּ֔וֹן וַיְאַמֶּץ ל֖־וֹ בַּעֲצֵי־יָ֑עַר נָטַ֥ע אֹ֖רֶ וְגֶ֥שֶׁם יְגַדֵּֽל׃

ἔκοψεν ξύλον ἐκ τοῦ δρυμοῦ ὃ ἐφύτευσεν ὁ κύριος, καὶ ὑετὸς ἐμήκυνεν,

Succídit cedros, tulit ílicem, et quercum, quæ stéterat inter ligna saltus: plantávit pinum, quam plúvia nutrívit.

וְהָיָ֤ה לְאָדָם֙ לְבָעֵ֔ר וַיִּקַּ֤ח מֵהֶם֙ וַיָּ֔חָם אַף־יַשִּׂ֖יק וְאָ֣פָה לָ֑חֶם אַף־יִפְעַל־אֵל֙ וַיִּשְׁתָּ֔חוּ עָשָׂ֥הוּ פֶ֖סֶל וַיִּסְגָּד לָֽ־מוֹ׃

ἵνα ᾖ ἀνθρώποις εἰς καῦσιν · καὶ λαβὼν ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ ἐθερμάνθη, καὶ καύσαντες ἔπεψαν ἄρτους ἐπ᾽ αὐτῶν · τὸ δὲ λοιπὸν εἰργάσαντο θεούς, καὶ προσκυνοῦσιν αὐτούς.

Et facta est homínibus in focum: sumpsit ex eis, et calefáctus est: et succéndit et coxit panes: de réliquo autem operátus est deum et adorávit: fecit scúlptile, et curvátus est ante illud.

והגה לאדם לבער ויקח מ׳המה ויחום אף־ישיק ואפה לחם או יפעל־אל וישתחו עש׳הו? פסל ויסגוד ל׳מו ׃

חֶצְיוֹ֙ שָׂרַ֣ף בְּמוֹ־אֵ֔שׁ עַל חֶצְי־וֹ֙ בָּשָׂ֣ר יֹאכֵ֔ל יִצְלֶ֥ה צָלִ֖י וְיִשְׂבָּ֑ע אַף־יָחֹם֙ וְיֹאמַ֣ר הֶאָ֔ח חַמּוֹתִ֖י רָאִ֥יתִי אֽוּר׃
16
οὗ τὸ ἥμισυ αὐτοῦ κατέκαυσεν ἐν πυρί, καὶ ἐπὶ τοῦ ἡμίσους αὐτοῦ ἔπεψεν ἐν τοῖς ἄνθραξιν ἄρτους, καὶ ἐπ᾽ αὐτοῦ κρέας ὀπτήσας ἔφαγεν καὶ ἐνεπλήσθη, καὶ ερμανθεὶς εἶπεν Ἡδύ μοι ὅτι ἐθερμάνθην καὶ εἶδον πῦρ ·

Médium eius combússit igni, et de médio eius carnes comédit: coxit pulméntum, et saturátus est, et calefáctus est, et dixit: Vah, calefáctus sum, vidi focum.

וּשְׁאֵ֣רִית֔וֹ לְאֵ֥ל עָשָׂ֖ה לְפִסְל֑וֹ יסגוד ל֤־וֹ וְיִשְׁתַּ֨חוּ֙ וְיִתְפַּלֵּ֣ל אֵלָ֔יו וְיֹאמַר֙ הַצִּילֵ֔נִי כִּ֥י אֵלִ֖י אָֽתָּה׃

τὸ δὲ λοιπὸν ἐποίησεν εἰς θεὸν γλυπτόν, καὶ προσκυνεῖ καὶ προσεύχεται πρὸς αὐτὸ λέγων Ἐξελοῦ με, ὅτι θεός μου εἶ σύ.

Réliquum autem eius deum fecit et scúlptile sibi: curvátur ante illud, et adórat illud, et óbsecrat, dicens: Líbera me, quia deus meus es tu.

ושרית׳ו לאל {{ י }}עשה לבליו עצ יסגוד ל׳ו וישתחוה ויתפלל אלי׳ו ויואמר הציל׳ני כיא אל׳י אתה ׃

לֹ֥א יָדְע֖וּ וְלֹ֣א יָבִ֑ינוּ כִּ֣י טַ֤ח מֵֽרְאוֹת֙ עֵֽינֵיהֶ֔ם מֵהַשְׂכִּ֖יל לִבֹּתָֽם׃

οὐκ ἔγνωσαν φρονῆσαι, ὅτι ἀπημαυρώθησαν τοῦ βλέπειν τοῖς ὀφθαλμοῖς αὐτῶν καὶ τοῦ νοῆσαι τῇ καρδίᾳ αὐτῶν.

Nesciérunt, neque intellexérunt: oblíti enim sunt ne vídeant óculi eórum, et ne intélligant corde suo.

וְלֹא־יָשִׁ֣יב אֶל לִבּ֗־וֹ וְלֹ֨א דַ֥עַת וְלֹֽא־תְבוּנָה֮ לֵאמֹר֒ חֶצְי֞וֹ שָׂרַ֣פְתִּי בְמוֹ־אֵ֗שׁ וְ֠אַף אָפִ֤יתִי עַל גֶּחָלָי־ו֙ לֶ֔חֶם אֶצְלֶ֥ה בָשָׂ֖ר וְאֹכֵ֑ל וְיִתְרוֹ֙ לְתוֹעֵבָ֣ה אֶעֱשֶׂ֔ה לְב֥וּל עֵ֖ץ אֶסְגּֽוֹד׃

καὶ οὐκ ἐλογίσατο τῇ ψυχῇ αὐτοῦ οὐδὲ ἔγνω τῇ φρονήσει ὅτι τὸ ἥμισυ αὐτοῦ κατέκαυσεν ἐν πυρί, καὶ ἔπεψεν ἐπὶ τῶν ἀνθράκων αὐτοῦ ἄρτους, καὶ ὀπτήσας κρέα ἔφαγεν, καὶ τὸ λοιπὸν αὐτοῦ εἰς βδέλυγμα ἐποίησεν καὶ προσκυνοῦσιν αὐτῷ.

Non recógitant in mente sua, neque cognóscunt, neque séntiunt, ut dicant: Medietátem eius combússi igni, et coxi super carbónes eius panes: coxi carnes et comédi, et de réliquo eius idólum fáciam? ante truncum ligni prócidam?

ולוא ישיב אל לב׳ו ולוא דעת ולוא תבונה לאמור לאמור חצי׳ו שרפתי במו־אש ואפ אפיתי על גחלי׳ו לחם ואצלה בשר ואוכלה ויתר׳ו לתועבות אעשה לבלוי עץ אסגוד ׃
