הַדָּבָר֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר הָיָ֣ה אֶֽל־יִרְמְיָ֔הוּ מֵאֵ֥ת יְהוָ֖ה לֵאמֹֽר׃

Ἀκούσατε τοὺς λόγους τῆς διαθήκης ταύτης, καὶ λαλήσεις πρὸς ἄνδρας Ἰούδα καὶ πρὸς τοὺς κατοικοῦντας ἐν Ἰερουσαλήμ ·

καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς Τάδε λέγει Κύριος θεὸς Ἰσραήλ Ἐπικατάρατος ἄνθρωπος ὃς οὐκ ἀκούσεται τῶν λόγων τῆς διαθήκης ταύτης,

et dices ad eos: Hæc dicit Dóminus Deus Israel: Maledíctus vir, qui non audíerit verba pacti huius,

ἧς ἐνετειλάμην τοῖς πατράσιν ὑμῶν ἐν ἡμέρᾳ ἀνήγαγον αὐτοὺς ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου, ἐκ καμίνου τῆς σιδηρᾶς, λέγων Ἀκούσατε τῆς φωνῆς μου καὶ ποιήσατε πάντα ὅσα ἐὰν ἐντείλωμαι ὑμῖν, καὶ ἔσεσθέ μοι εἰς λαὸν καὶ ἐγὼ ἔσομαι ὑμῖν εἰς θεόν,

ὅπως στήσω τὸν ὅρκον μου ὃν ὤμοσα τοῖς πατράσιν ὑμῶν, τοῦ δοῦναι αὐτοῖς γῆν ῥέουσαν γάλα καὶ μέλι καθὼς ἡμέρα αὕτη. καὶ ἀπεκρίθην καὶ εἶπα Γένοιτο, Κύριε.

ut súscitem iuraméntum, quod iurávi pátribus vestris, datúrum me eis terram fluéntem lacte et melle, sicut est dies hæc. Et respóndi, et dixi: Amen Dómine.

et non audiérunt, nec inclinavérunt aurem suam: sed abiérunt unusquísque in pravitáte cordis sui mali, et indúxi super eos ómnia verba pacti huius, quod præcépi ut fácerent, et non fecérunt.

ἐπεστράφησαν ἐπὶ τὰς ἀδικίας τῶν πατέρων αὐτῶν τῶν πρότερον, οἳ οὐκ ἠθέλησαν εἰσακοῦσαι τῶν λόγων μου, καὶ ἰδοὺ αὐτοὶ πορεύονται ὀπίσω θεῶν ἀλλοτρίων τοῦ δουλεύειν αὐτοῖς, καὶ διεσκέδασαν οἶκος Ἰσραὴλ καὶ οἶκος Ἰούδα τὴν διαθήκην μου ἣν διεθέμην πρὸς τοὺς πατέρας αὐτῶν.

Revérsi sunt ad iniquitátes patrum suórum prióres, qui noluérunt audíre verba mea: et hi ergo abiérunt post deos aliénos, ut servírent eis: írritum fecérunt domus Israel et domus Iuda pactum meum, quod pépigi cum pátribus eórum.

They are turned back to the iniquities of their forefathers, which refused to hear my words; and they went after other gods to serve them: the house of Israel and the house of Judah have broken my covenant which I made with their fathers.

לָכֵ֗ן כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה הִנְנִ֨י מֵבִ֤יא אֲלֵיהֶם֙ רָעָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא־יוּכְל֖וּ לָצֵ֣את מִמֶּ֑נָּה וְזָעֲק֣וּ אֵלַ֔י וְלֹ֥א אֶשְׁמַ֖ע אֲלֵיהֶֽם׃

διὰ τοῦτο τάδε λέγει Κύριος Ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπάγω ἐπὶ τὸν λαὸν τοῦτον κακὰ ἐξ ὧν οὐ δυνήσονται ἐξελθεῖν ἐξ αὐτῶν, καὶ κεκράξονται πρὸς μὲ καὶ οὐκ εἰσακούσομαι αὐτῶν.

καὶ πορεύσονται πόλεις Ἰούδα καὶ οἱ κατοικοῦντες Ἰερουσαλὴμ καὶ κεκράξονται πρὸς τοὺς θεοὺς οἷς αὐτοὶ θυμιῶσιν αὐτοῖς, μὴ σώσουσιν αὐτοὺς ἐν τῷ καιρῷ τῶν κακῶν αὐτῶν.

ὅτι κατ᾽ ἀριθμὸν τῶν πόλεών σου ἦσαν θεοί σου, Ἰούδα, καὶ κατ᾽ ἀριθμὸν ἐξόδων τῆς Ἰερουσαλὴμ ἐτάξατε βωμοὺς θυμιᾷν τῇ Βάαλ.

מֶ֣ה לִֽידִידִ֞י בְּבֵיתִ֗י עֲשׂוֹתָ֤הּ הַֽמְזִמָּ֨תָה֙ הָֽרַבִּ֔ים וּבְשַׂר־קֹ֖דֶשׁ יַעַבְר֣וּ מֵֽעָלָ֑יִךְ כִּ֥י רָעָתֵ֖כִי אָ֥ז תַּעֲלֹֽזִי׃

τί ἠγαπημένη ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ μου ἐποίησεν βδέλυγμα; μὴ εὐχαὶ καὶ κρέα ἅγια ἀφελοῦσιν ἀπὸ σοῦ τὰς κακίας σου, τούτοις διαφεύξῃ;

Quid est, quod diléctus meus in domo mea fecit scélera multa? numquid carnes sanctæ áuferent a te malítias tuas, in quibus gloriáta es?

זַ֤יִת רַֽעֲנָן֙ יְפֵ֣ה פְרִי־תֹ֔אַר קָרָ֥א יְהוָ֖ה שְׁמֵ֑ךְ לְק֣וֹל ׀ הֲמוּלָּ֣ה גְדֹלָ֗ה הִצִּ֥ית אֵשׁ֙ עָלֶ֔יהָ וְרָע֖וּ דָּלִיּוֹתָֽיו׃

ἐλαίαν ὡραίαν εὔσκιον τῷ εἴδει ἐκάλεσεν Κύριος τὸ ὄνομά σου · εἰς φωνὴν περιτομῆς αὐτῆς ἀνήφθη πῦρ ἐπ᾽ αὐτήν, μεγάλη θλίψις ἐπὶ σέ, ἠχρεώθησαν οἱ κλάδοι αὐτῆς,

Olívam úberem, pulchram, fructíferam, speciósam vocávit Dóminus nomen tuum: ad vocem loquélæ, grandis exársit ignis in ea, et combústa sunt frutéta eius.

καὶ Κύριος καταφυτεύσας σε ἐλάλησεν ἐπὶ σὲ κακὰ ἀντὶ τῆς κακίας οἴκου Ἰσραὴλ καὶ οἴκου Ἰούδα, ὅτι ἐποίησαν ἑαυτοῖς τοῦ παροργίσαι με ἐν τῷ θυμιᾷν αὐτοὺς τῇ Βάαλ.

Et Dóminus exercítuum qui plantávit te, locútus est super te malum, pro malis domus Israel, et domus Iuda, quæ fecérunt sibi ad irritándum me, libántes Báalim.

וַאֲנִ֕י כְּכֶ֥בֶשׂ אַלּ֖וּף יוּבַ֣ל לִטְב֑וֹחַ וְלֹֽא־יָדַ֜עְתִּי כִּֽי עָלַ֣־י ׀ חָשְׁב֣וּ מַחֲשָׁב֗וֹת נַשְׁחִ֨יתָה עֵ֤ץ בְּלַחְמוֹ֙ וְנִכְרְתֶ֨נּוּ֙ מֵאֶ֣רֶץ חַיִּ֔ים וּשְׁמ֖וֹ לֹֽא־יִזָּכֵ֥ר עֽוֹד׃

ἐγὼ δὲ ὡς ἀρνίον ἄκακον ἀγόμενον τοῦ θύεσθαι οὐκ ἔγνων. ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ ἐλογίσαντο λογισμὸν πονηρόν, λέγοντες Δεῦτε καὶ ἐμβάλωμεν ξύλον εἰς τὸν ἄρτον αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐκτρίψωμεν αὐτὸν ἀπὸ γῆς ζώντων, καὶ τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ οὐ μὴ μνησθῇ οὐκέτι.

Et ego quasi agnus mansuétus, qui portátur ad víctimam: et non cognóvi quia cogitavérunt super me consília, dicéntes: Mittámus lignum in panem eius, et eradámus eum de terra vivéntium, et nomen eius non memorétur ámplius.
