Τί γὰρ προοίμιον ἢ φόβος ὁ παρ᾽ αὐτοῦ, ὁ ποιῶν τὴν σύμπασαν ἐν ὑψίστῳ;

Potéstas et terror apud eum est, qui facit concórdiam in sublímibus suis.

μὴ γάρ τις ὑπολάβοι ὅτι ἐστὶν παρέλκυσις πειραταῖς; ἐπὶ τίνας δὲ οὐκ ἐπελεύσεται ἔνεδρα παρ᾽ αὐτοῦ;

וּמַה־יִּצְדַּ֣ק אֱנ֣וֹשׁ עִם־אֵ֑ל וּמַה־יִּ֝זְכֶּ֗ה יְל֣וּד אִשָּֽׁה׃

πῶς γὰρ ἔσται δίκαιος βροτὸς ἔναντι Κυρίου; ἢ τίς ἂν ἀποκαθαρίσαι αὐτὸν γεννητὸς γυναικός;
