ויקהלו על־משׁה ועל־אהרן ויאמרו אליהם רב לכם כי כל העדה כלם קדישׁים ובתוכם יהוה ומדוע תתנשׂאו על־קהל יהוה

And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, [Ye take] too much upon you, seeing all the congregation [are] holy, every one of them, and the LORD [is] among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?

וידבר אל־קרח ואל־כל עדתו לאמר בקר ויודע יהוה את־אשׁר לו ואת הקדושׁ יקריב אליו ואת־אשׁר יבחר בו יקריב אליו

And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD will shew who [are] his, and [who is] holy; and will cause [him] to come near unto him: even [him] whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.

And put fire therein, and put incense in them before the LORD to morrow: and it shall be [that] the man whom the LORD doth choose, he [shall be] holy: [ye take] too much upon you, ye sons of Levi.

המעט מכם כי־הבדיל אלהי ישׂראל אתכם מעדת ישׂראל להקריב אתכם אליו לעבד את־עבדת משׁכן יהוה לעמד לפני העדה לשׁרתם

[Seemeth it but] a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?

Numquid parum est tibi quod eduxísti nos de terra, quæ lacte et melle manábat, ut occíderes in desérto, nisi et dominátus fúeris nostri?

Revéra induxísti nos in terram, quæ fluit rivis lactis et mellis, et dedísti nobis possessiónes agrórum et vineárum: an et óculos nostros vis erúere? non venímus.

אף לא אל־ארץ זבת חלב ודבשׁ הבאתנו ותתן לנו נחלת שׂדה או כרם העיני האנשׁים ההם תנקר לא נעלה

Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.

ויעלו מעל משׁכן־קרח דתן ואבירם מסביב ודתן ואבירם יצאו נצבים פתח אהליהם ונשׁיהם ובניהם וטפם

So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.

אם כמות כל האדם ימותון אלה ופקדת כל האדם יפקד עליהם לא יהוה שׁלחני

If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; [then] the LORD hath not sent me.

וְאִם־בְּרִיאָ֞ה יִבְרָ֣א יְהוָ֗ה וּפָצְתָ֨ה הָאֲדָמָ֤ה אֶת פִּ֨י־הָ֙ וּבָלְעָ֤ה אֹתָם֙ וְאֶת־כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֣ר לָהֶ֔ם וְיָרְד֥וּ חַיִּ֖ים שְׁאֹ֑לָה וִֽידַעְתֶּ֕ם כִּ֧י נִֽאֲצ֛וּ הָאֲנָשִׁ֥ים הָאֵ֖לֶּה אֶת־יְהוָֽה׃

sin autem novam rem fécerit Dóminus, ut apériens terra os suum deglútiat eos et ómnia quæ ad illos pértinent, descenderíntque vivéntes in inférnum, sciétis quod blasphemáverint Dóminum.

ואם בריה יברא יהוה ופצתה האדמה את פיה ובלעה אתם ואת־כל־אשׁר להם וירדו חיים שׁאלה וידעתם כי נאצו האנשׁים האלה את־יהוה

But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that [appertain] unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.
