וַיְדַבֵּ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה וְאֶֽל־אַהֲרֹ֖ן לֵאמֹֽר׃

Καὶ ἐλάλησεν Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ Ἀαρὼν λέγων

Locutúsque est Dóminus ad Móysen et Aaron, dicens:

וידבר יהוה אל־משׁה ואל־אהרן לאמר

And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

נָשֹׂ֗א אֶת־רֹאשׁ֙ בְּנֵ֣י קְהָ֔ת מִתּ֖וֹךְ בְּנֵ֣י לֵוִ֑י לְמִשְׁפְּחֹתָ֖ם לְבֵ֥ית אֲבֹתָֽם׃

Λάβε τὸ κεφάλαιον τῶν υἱῶν Καὰθ ἐκ μέσου υἱῶν Λευεί, κατὰ δήμους αὐτῶν, κατ᾽ οἴκους πατριῶν αὐτῶν,

Tolle summam filiórum Caath de médio Levitárum per domos et famílias suas,

נשׂא את־ראשׁ בני קהת מתוך בני לוי למשׁפחותם לבית אבותם

Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, after their families, by the house of their fathers,

מִבֶּ֨ן שְׁלֹשִׁ֤ים שָׁנָה֙ וָמַ֔עְלָה וְעַ֖ד בֶּן־חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים שָׁנָ֑ה כָּל־בָּא֙ לַצָּבָ֔א לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת מְלָאכָ֖ה בְּאֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃

ἀπὸ εἴκοσι καὶ πέντε ἐτῶν καὶ ἐπάνω καὶ ἕως πεντήκοντα ἐτῶν, πᾶς ὁ εἰσπορευόμενος λειτουργεῖν ποιῆσαι πάντα τὰ ἔργα ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου.

a trigésimo anno et supra, usque ad quinquagésimum annum, ómnium qui ingrediúntur ut stent et minístrent in tabernáculo fœ́deris.

מבן שׁלשׁים שׁנה ומעלה ועד בן־חמשׁים שׁנה כל הבא לצבא לעשׂות מלאכה באהל מועד

From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.

זֹ֛את עֲבֹדַ֥ת בְּנֵי־קְהָ֖ת בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד קֹ֖דֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִֽׁים׃

καὶ ταῦτα τὰ ἔργα τῶν υἱῶν Καὰθ ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου· ἅγιον τῶν ἁγίων.

Hic est cultus filiórum Caath: tabernáculum fœ́deris, et Sanctum sanctórum

זאת עבדת בני־קהת באהל מועד קדשׁ הקדשׁים

This [shall be] the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, [about] the most holy things:

וּבָ֨א אַהֲרֹ֤ן וּבָנָיו֙ בִּנְסֹ֣עַ הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֔ה וְהוֹרִ֕דוּ אֵ֖ת פָּרֹ֣כֶת הַמָּסָ֑ךְ וְכִ֨סּוּ בָ֔־הּ אֵ֖ת אֲרֹ֥ן הָעֵדֻֽת׃

καὶ εἰσελεύσεται Ἀαρὼν καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ ὅταν ἐξαίρῃ ἡ παρεμβολή, καὶ καθελοῦσιν τὸ καταπέτασμα τὸ συσκιάζον, καὶ κατακαλύψουσιν ἐν αὐτῷ τὴν κιβωτὸν τοῦ μαρτυρίου·

ingrediéntur Aaron et fílii eius, quando movénda sunt castra, et depónent velum quod pendet ante fores, involvéntque eo arcam testimónii,

ובא אהרן ובניו בנסע המחנה והורידו את פרכת המסך וכסו בה את ארון העדות

And when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it:

וְנָתְנ֣וּ עָלָ֗יו כְּסוּי֙ ע֣וֹר תַּ֔חַשׁ וּפָרְשׂ֧וּ בֶֽגֶד־כְּלִ֛יל תְּכֵ֖לֶת מִלְמָ֑עְלָה וְשָׂמ֖וּ בַּדָּֽיו׃

καὶ ἐπιθήσουσιν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ κατακάλυμμα δέρμα ὑακίνθινον, καὶ ἐπιβαλοῦσιν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὴν ἱμάτιον ὅλον ὑακίνθινον ἄνωθεν, καὶ διεμβαλοῦσιν τοὺς ἀναφορεῖς.

et opérient rursum velámine ianthinárum péllium, extendéntque désuper pállium totum hyacínthinum, et indúcent vectes.

ונתנו עליו כסוי עור תחשׁ ופרשׁו עליו בגד־כליל תכלת מלמעלה ושׂמו בדיו

And shall put thereon the covering of badgers ’ skins, and shall spread over [it] a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof.

וְעַ֣ל ׀ שֻׁלְחַ֣ן הַפָּנִ֗ים יִפְרְשׂוּ֮ בֶּ֣גֶד תְּכֵלֶת֒ וְנָתְנ֣וּ עָ֠לָיו אֶת הַ־קְּעָרֹ֤ת וְאֶת הַ־כַּפֹּת֙ וְאֶת הַ־מְּנַקִּיֹּ֔ת וְאֵ֖ת קְשׂ֣וֹת הַנָּ֑סֶךְ וְלֶ֥חֶם הַתָּמִ֖יד עָלָ֥יו יִהְיֶֽה׃

καὶ ἐπὶ τὴν τράπεζαν τὴν προκειμένην ἐπιβαλοῦσιν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὴν ἱμάτιον ὁλοπόρφυρον καὶ τὰ τρυβλία καὶ τὰς θυίσκας καὶ τοὺς κυάθους καὶ τὰ σπονδεῖα ἐν οἷς σπένδει· καὶ οἱ ἄρτοι οἱ διὰ παντὸς ἐπ᾽ αὐτῆς ἔσονται.

Mensam quoque propositiónis invólvent hyacínthino pállio, et ponent cum ea thuríbula et mortaríola, cýathos et cratéras ad liba fundénda: panes semper in ea erunt:

ועל שׁלחן הפנים יפרשׂו בגד תכלת ונתנו עליו את הקערות ואת הכפות ואת המנקיות ואת קשׂות הנסך ולחם התמיד עליו יהיה

And upon the table of shewbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread shall be thereon:

וּפָרְשׂ֣וּ עֲלֵיהֶ֗ם בֶּ֚גֶד תּוֹלַ֣עַת שָׁנִ֔י וְכִסּ֣וּ אֹת֔וֹ בְּמִכְסֵ֖ה ע֣וֹר תָּ֑חַשׁ וְשָׂמ֖וּ אֶת בַּדָּֽי־ו׃

καὶ ἐπιβαλοῦσιν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὴν ἱμάτιον κόκκινον, καὶ καλύψουσιν αὐτὴν καλύμματι δερματίνῳ ὑακινθίνῳ, καὶ διεμβαλοῦσιν δι᾽ αὐτῆς τοὺς ἀναφορεῖς.

extendéntque désuper pállium coccíneum, quod rursum opérient velaménto ianthinárum péllium, et indúcent vectes.

ופרשׂו עליהם כסוי בגד תולעת שׁני וכסו אתו במכסה עור תחשׁ ושׂמו בדיו

And they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of badgers ’ skins, and shall put in the staves thereof.

וְלָקְח֣וּ ׀ בֶּ֣גֶד תְּכֵ֗לֶת וְכִסּ֞וּ אֶת־מְנֹרַ֤ת הַמָּאוֹר֙ וְאֶת נֵ֣רֹתֶ֔י־הָ וְאֶת מַלְקָחֶ֖י־הָ וְאֶת מַחְתֹּתֶ֑י־הָ וְאֵת֙ כָּל־כְּלֵ֣י שַׁמְנָ֔הּ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יְשָׁרְתוּ לָ֖־הּ בָּהֶֽם׃

καὶ λήμψονται ἱμάτιον ὑακίνθινον καὶ καλύψουσιν τὴν λυχνίαν τὴν φωτίζουσαν, καὶ τοὺς λύχνους αὐτῆς καὶ τὰς λαβίδας αὐτῆς καὶ τὰς ἐπαρυστρίδας αὐτῆς, καὶ πάντα τὰ ἄγγια τοῦ ἐλαίου οἷς λειτουργοῦσιν ἐν αὐτοῖς·

Sument et pállium hyacínthinum, quo opérient candelábrum cum lucérnis et forcípibus suis et emunctóriis et cunctis vasis ólei, quæ ad concinnándas lucérnas necessária sunt:

ולקחו בגד תכלת וכסו את מנורת המאור ואת נרתיה ואת מלקחיה ואת מחתיתיה ואת כל־כלי שׁמנה אשׁר ישׁרתו לה בהם

And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:

וְנָתְנ֤וּ אֹתָהּ֙ וְאֶת־כָּל כֵּלֶ֔י־הָ אֶל־מִכְסֵ֖ה ע֣וֹר תָּ֑חַשׁ וְנָתְנ֖וּ עַל הַ־מּֽוֹט׃

καὶ ἐμβαλοῦσιν αὐτὴν καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη αὐτῆς εἰς κάλυμμα δερμάτινον ὑακίνθινον, καὶ ἐπιθήσουσιν αὐτὴν ἐπ᾽ ἀναφορέων.

et super ómnia ponent operiméntum ianthinárum péllium, et indúcent vectes.

ונתנו אתה ואת־כל כליה אל־מכסה עור תחשׁ ונתנו על המוט

And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of badgers ’ skins, and shall put [it] upon a bar.

וְעַ֣ל ׀ מִזְבַּ֣ח הַזָּהָ֗ב יִפְרְשׂוּ֙ בֶּ֣גֶד תְּכֵ֔לֶת וְכִסּ֣וּ אֹת֔וֹ בְּמִכְסֵ֖ה ע֣וֹר תָּ֑חַשׁ וְשָׂמ֖וּ אֶת בַּדָּֽי־ו׃

καὶ ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τὸ χρυσοῦν ἐπικαλύψουσιν ἱμάτιον ὑακίνθινον, καὶ καλύψουσιν αὐτὸ καλύμματι δερματίνῳ ὑακινθίνῳ, καὶ διεμβαλοῦσιν τοὺς ἀναφορεῖς αὐτοῦ.

Necnon et altáre áureum invólvent hyacínthino vestiménto, et exténdent désuper operiméntum ianthinárum péllium, inducéntque vectes.

ועל מזבח הזהב יפרשׂו בגד תכלת וכסו אתו במכסה עור תחשׁ ושׂמו את בדיו

And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of badgers ’ skins, and shall put to the staves thereof:

וְלָקְחוּ֩ אֶת־כָּל־כְּלֵ֨י הַשָּׁרֵ֜ת אֲשֶׁ֧ר יְשָֽׁרְתוּ בָ֣־ם בַּקֹּ֗דֶשׁ וְנָֽתְנוּ֙ אֶל־בֶּ֣גֶד תְּכֵ֔לֶת וְכִסּ֣וּ אוֹתָ֔ם בְּמִכְסֵ֖ה ע֣וֹר תָּ֑חַשׁ וְנָתְנ֖וּ עַל הַ־מּֽוֹט׃

καὶ λήμψονται πάντα τὰ σκεύη τὰ λειτουργικὰ ὅσα λειτουργοῦσιν ἐν αὐτοῖς ἐν τοῖς ἁγίοις, καὶ ἐμβαλοῦσιν εἰς ἱμάτιον ὑακίνθινον, καὶ καλύψουσιν αὐτὰ καλύμματι δερματίνῳ ὑακινθίνῳ, καὶ ἐπιθήσουσιν ἐπὶ ἀναφορεῖς.

Omnia vasa, quibus ministrátur in sanctuário, invólvent hyacínthino pállio, et exténdent désuper operiméntum ianthinárum péllium, inducéntque vectes.

ולקחו את־כל־כלי השׁרת אשׁר ישׁרתו בהם בקדשׁ ונתנו אל־בגד תכלת וכסו אתם במכסה עור תחשׁ ונתנו על המוט

And they shall take all the instruments of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put [them] in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers ’ skins, and shall put [them] on a bar:

καὶ τὸν καλυπτῆρα ἐπιθήσει ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον, καὶ ἐπικαλύψουσιν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ ἱμάτιον ὁλοπόρφυρον·

Sed et altáre mundábunt cínere, et invólvent illud purpúreo vestiménto,

And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon:

וְנָתְנ֣וּ עָ֠לָיו אֶֽת־כָּל כֵּלָ֞י־ו אֲשֶׁ֣ר יְֽשָׁרְת֧וּ עָלָ֣יו בָּהֶ֗ם אֶת הַ־מַּחְתֹּ֤ת אֶת הַ־מִּזְלָגֹת֙ וְאֶת הַ־יָּעִ֣ים וְאֶת הַ־מִּזְרָקֹ֔ת כֹּ֖ל כְּלֵ֣י הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ וּפָרְשׂ֣וּ עָלָ֗יו כְּס֛וּי ע֥וֹר תַּ֖חַשׁ וְשָׂמ֥וּ בַדָּֽיו׃

καὶ ἐπιθήσουσιν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ πάντα τὰ σκεύη ὅσοις λειτουργοῦσιν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ ἐν αὐτοῖς, καὶ τὰ πύρια καὶ τὰς κρεάγρας καὶ τὰς φιάλας καὶ τὸν καλυπτῆρα καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου· καὶ ἐπιβαλοῦσιν ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ κάλυμμα δερμάτινον ὑακίνθινον, καὶ διεμβαλοῦσιν τοὺς ἀναφορεῖς αὐτοῦ· καὶ λήμψονται ἱμάτιον πορφυροῦν καὶ συνκαλύψουσιν τὸν λουτῆρα καὶ τὴν βάσιν αὐτοῦ, καὶ ἐμβαλοῦσιν αὐτὸ εἰς κάλυμμα δερμάτινον ὑακίνθινον, καὶ ἐπιθήσουσιν ἐπὶ ἀναφορεῖς.

ponéntque cum eo ómnia vasa, quibus in ministério eius utúntur, id est, ígnium receptácula, fuscínulas ac tridéntes, uncínos et batílla. Cuncta vasa altáris opérient simul velámine ianthinárum péllium, et indúcent vectes.

ונתנו עליו את־כל כליו אשׁר ישׁרתו עליו בהם את המחתות ואת המזלגות ואת היעים ואת המזרקות כל כלי המזבח ופרשׂו עליו כסוי עור תחשׁ ושׂמו בדיו ולקחו בגד ארגמן וכסו את הכיור ואת כנו ונתנו אתם אל מכסה עור תחשׁ ונתנו על המוט

And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, [even] the censers, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basons, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers ’ skins, and put to the staves of it.

וְכִלָּ֣ה אַֽהֲרֹן וּ֠בָנָי־ו לְכַסֹּ֨ת אֶת הַ־קֹּ֜דֶשׁ וְאֶת־כָּל־כְּלֵ֣י הַקֹּדֶשׁ֮ בִּנְסֹ֣עַ הַֽמַּחֲנֶה֒ וְאַחֲרֵי־כֵ֗ן יָבֹ֤אוּ בְנֵי־קְהָת֙ לָשֵׂ֔את וְלֹֽא־יִגְּע֥וּ אֶל הַ־קֹּ֖דֶשׁ וָמֵ֑תוּ אֵ֛לֶּה מַשָּׂ֥א בְנֵֽי־קְהָ֖ת בְּאֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃

καὶ συντελέσουσιν Ἀαρὼν καὶ οἱ υἱοὶ αὐτοῦ καλύπτοντες τὰ ἅγια καὶ πάντα τὰ σκεύη τὰ ἅγια, ἐν τῷ ἐξαίρειν τὴν παρεμβολήν· καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα εἰσελεύσονται υἱοὶ Καὰθ αἴρειν, καὶ οὐχ ἅψονται τῶν ἁγίων, ἵνα μὴ ἀποθάνωσιν. ταῦτα ἀροῦσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Καὰθ ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου.

Cumque invólverint Aaron et fílii eius sanctuárium et ómnia vasa eius in commotióne castrórum, tunc intrábunt fílii Caath ut portent involúta: et non tangent vasa sanctuárii, ne moriántur. Ista sunt ónera filiórum Caath in tabernáculo fœ́deris:

וכלה אהרן ובניו לכסות את הקדשׁ ואת־כל־כלי הקדשׁ בנסע המחנה ואחרי־כן יבאו בני־קהת לשׂאת ולא־יגעו אל הקדשׁ ומתו אלה משׂאי בני־קהת באהל מועד

And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear [it]: but they shall not touch [any] holy thing, lest they die. These [things are] the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.

וּפְקֻדַּ֞ת אֶלְעָזָ֣ר ׀ בֶּן־אַהֲרֹ֣ן הַכֹּהֵ֗ן שֶׁ֤מֶן הַמָּאוֹר֙ וּקְטֹ֣רֶת הַסַּמִּ֔ים וּמִנְחַ֥ת הַתָּמִ֖יד וְשֶׁ֣מֶן הַמִּשְׁחָ֑ה פְּקֻדַּ֗ת כָּל הַ־מִּשְׁכָּן֙ וְכָל־אֲשֶׁר בּ֔־וֹ בְּקֹ֖דֶשׁ וּבְכֵלָֽיו׃ ס

ἐπίσκοπος Ἐλεαζὰρ υἱὸς Ἀαρὼν τοῦ ἱερέως· τὸ ἔλαιον τοῦ φωτὸς καὶ τὸ θυμίαμα τῆς συνθέσεως καὶ ἡ θυσία ἡ καθ᾽ ἡμέραν καὶ τὸ ἔλαιον τῆς χρίσεως, ἡ ἐπισκοπὴ ὅλης τῆς σκηνῆς καὶ ὅσα ἐστὶν ἐν αὐτῇ ἐν τῷ ἁγίῳ, ἐν πᾶσι τοῖς ἔργοις.

super quos erit Eleázar fílius Aaron sacerdótis, ad cuius curam pértinet óleum ad concinnándas lucérnas, et compositiónis incénsum, et sacrifícium, quod semper offértur, et óleum unctiónis, et quidquid ad cultum tabernáculi pértinet, omniúmque vasórum, quæ in sanctuário sunt.

ופקדת אלעזר בן־אהרן הכהן שׁמן המאור וקטרת הסמים ומנחת התמיד ושׁמן המשׁחה פקדת כל המשׁכן וכל־אשׁר בו בקדשׁ ובכליו

And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest [pertaineth] the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, [and] the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein [is], in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.
