וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃

Καὶ ἐλάλησεν Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων

Locutúsque est Dóminus ad Móysen, dicens:

וידבר יהוה אל־משׁה לאמר

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

צַ֚ו אֶת־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וִֽישַׁלְּחוּ֙ מִן הַֽ־מַּחֲנֶ֔ה כָּל־צָר֖וּעַ וְכָל־זָ֑ב וְכֹ֖ל טָמֵ֥א לָנָֽפֶשׁ׃

Πρόσταξον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραήλ, καὶ ἐξαποστειλάτωσαν ἐκ τῆς παρεμβολῆς πάντα λεπρὸν καὶ πάντα γονορρυῆ καὶ πάντα ἀκάθαρτον ἐπὶ ψυχῇ ·

Prǽcipe fíliis Israel, ut eíciant de castris omnem leprósum, et qui sémine fluit, pollutúsque est super mórtuo:

צוי את־בני ישׂראל וישׁלחו מן המחנה כל־צרוע וכל־זב וכל טמא לנפשׁ
2
Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead:

מִזָּכָ֤ר עַד־נְקֵבָה֙ תְּשַׁלֵּ֔חוּ אֶל מִ־ח֥וּץ לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֖ה תְּשַׁלְּח֑וּם וְלֹ֤א יְטַמְּאוּ֙ אֶת מַ֣חֲנֵי־הֶ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֥ר אֲנִ֖י שֹׁכֵ֥ן בְּתוֹכָֽם׃
3
ἀπὸ ἀρσενικοῦ ἕως θηλυκοῦ, ἐξαποστείλατε ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς, καὶ οὐ μὴ μιανοῦσιν τὰς παρεμβολὰς αὐτῶν, ἐν οἷς ἐγὼ καταγίνομαι ἐν αὐτοῖς.

tam másculum quam féminam eícite de castris, ne contáminent ea cum habitáverint vobíscum.

מזכר ועד־נקבה תשׁלחו אל מחוץ למחנה תשׁלחום ולא יטמאו את מחניהם אשׁר אני שׁכן בתוכם
3
Both male and female shall ye put out, without the camp shall ye put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.

καὶ ἐποίησαν οὕτως οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραήλ, καὶ ἐξαπέστειλαν αὐτοὺς ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς · καθὰ ἐλάλησεν Κύριος Μωυσῇ, οὕτως ἐποίησαν οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραήλ.

Fecerúntque ita fílii Israel, et eiecérunt eos extra castra, sicut locútus erat Dóminus Móysi.

ויעשׂו־כן בני ישׂראל וישׁלחו אתם אל מחוץ למחנה כאשׁר דבר יהוה אל־משׁה כן עשׂו בני ישׂראל

And the children of Israel did so, and put them out without the camp: as the LORD spake unto Moses, so did the children of Israel.

דַּבֵּר֮ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ אִ֣ישׁ אֽוֹ־אִשָּׁ֗ה כִּ֤י יַעֲשׂוּ֙ מִכָּל־חַטֹּ֣את הָֽאָדָ֔ם לִמְעֹ֥ל מַ֖עַל בַּיהוָ֑ה וְאָֽשְׁמָ֖ה הַנֶּ֥פֶשׁ הַהִֽוא׃

Λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραὴλ λέγων Ἀνὴρ ἢ γυνὴ ὅστις ἐὰν ποιήσῃ ἀπὸ τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν τῶν ἀνθρωπίνων, καὶ παριδὼν παρίδῃ καὶ πλημμελῶν πλημμελήσῃ ἡ ψυχὴ ἐκείνη,

Lóquere ad fílios Israel: Vir, sive múlier, cum fécerint ex ómnibus peccátis, quæ solent homínibus accídere, et per negligéntiam transgréssi fúerint mandátum Dómini, atque delíquerint,

דבר אל־בני ישׂראל לאמר אישׁ או־אשׁה כי יעשׂו מכל־חטאת האדם למעל מעל ביהוה ואשׁמה הנפשׁ ההיא

Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty;

וְהִתְוַדּ֗וּ אֶֽת חַטָּאתָ־ם֮ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשׂוּ֒ וְהֵשִׁ֤יב אֶת אֲשָׁמ־וֹ֙ בְּרֹאשׁ֔וֹ וַחֲמִישִׁת֖וֹ יֹסֵ֣ף עָלָ֑יו וְנָתַ֕ן לַאֲשֶׁ֖ר אָשַׁ֥ם לֽוֹ׃
7
ἐξαγορεύσει τὴν ἁμαρτίαν ἣν ἐποίησεν, καὶ ἀποδώσει τὴν πλημμελίαν, τὸ κεφάλαιον, καὶ τὸ ἐπίπεμπτον αὐτοῦ προσθήσει ἐπ᾽ αὐτό, καὶ ἀποδώσει τίνι ἐπλημμέλησεν αὐτῷ.

confitebúntur peccátum suum, et reddent ipsum caput, quintámque partem désuper ei, in quem peccáverint.

והתודו את חטאתם אשׁר עשׂו והשׁיב את אשׁמו בראשׁו וחמישׁתו יסף עליו ונתן לאשׁר אשׁם לו
7
Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth [part] thereof, and give [it] unto [him] against whom he hath trespassed.

וְאִם־אֵ֨ין לָאִ֜ישׁ גֹּאֵ֗ל לְהָשִׁ֤יב הָאָשָׁם֙ אֵלָ֔יו הָאָשָׁ֛ם הַמּוּשָׁ֥ב לַיהוָ֖ה לַכֹּהֵ֑ן מִלְּבַ֗ד אֵ֚יל הַכִּפֻּרִ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֥ר יְכַפֶּר בּ֖־וֹ עָלָֽיו׃
8
ἐὰν δὲ μὴ ᾖ τῷ ἀνθρώπῳ ὁ ἀγχιστεύων ὥστε ἀποδοῦναι αὐτῷ τὸ πλημμέλημα πρὸς αὐτόν, τὸ πλημμέλημα τὸ ἀποδιδόμενον Κυρίῳ τῷ ἱερεῖ ἔσται, πλὴν τοῦ κριοῦ τοῦ ἱλασμοῦ δι᾽ οὗ ἐξιλάσεται ἐν αὐτῷ περὶ αὐτοῦ.

Sin autem non fúerit qui recípiat, dabunt Dómino, et erit sacerdótis, excépto aríete, qui offértur pro expiatióne, ut sit placábilis hóstia.

ואם־אין לאישׁ גאל להשׁיב האשׁם אליו האשׁם המושׁב ליהוה לכהן מלבד איל הכפורים אשׁר יכפר בו עליו
8
But if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, let the trespass be recompensed unto the LORD, [even] to the priest; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him.

וְכָל־תְּרוּמָ֞ה לְכָל־קָדְשֵׁ֧י בְנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל אֲשֶׁר־יַקְרִ֥יבוּ לַכֹּהֵ֖ן ל֥וֹ יִהְיֶֽה׃
9
καὶ πᾶσα ἀπαρχὴ κατὰ πάντα τὰ ἁγιαζόμενα ἐν υἱοῖς Ἰσραήλ, ὅσα ἂν προσφέρωσιν τῷ κυρίῳ τῷ ἱερεῖ, αὐτῷ ἔσται.

Omnes quoque primítiæ, quas ófferunt fílii Israel, ad sacerdótem pértinent:

וכל־תרומה לכל־קדשׁי בני־ישׂראל אשׁר־יקריבו לכהן לו יהיה
9
And every offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they bring unto the priest, shall be his.

וְאִ֥ישׁ אֶת קֳדָשָׁ֖י־ו ל֣וֹ יִהְי֑וּ אִ֛ישׁ אֲשֶׁר־יִתֵּ֥ן לַכֹּהֵ֖ן ל֥וֹ יִהְיֶֽה׃ פ
10
καὶ ἑκάστῳ τὰ ἡγιασμένα αὐτοῦ ἔσται · ἀνὴρ ὃς ἐὰν δῷ τῷ ἱερεῖ, αὐτῷ ἔσται.

et quidquid in sanctuárium offértur a síngulis, et tráditur mánibus sacerdótis, ipsíus erit.

ואישׁ את קדשׁיו לו יהיה ואישׁ אשׁר־יתן לכהן לו יהיה
10
And every man ’s hallowed things shall be his: whatsoever any man giveth the priest, it shall be his.

דַּבֵּר֙ אֶל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְאָמַרְתָּ֖ אֲלֵהֶ֑ם אִ֥ישׁ אִישׁ֙ כִּֽי־תִשְׂטֶ֣ה אִשְׁתּ֔וֹ וּמָעֲלָ֥ה ב֖וֹ מָֽעַל׃
12
Λάλησον τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραὴλ καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτούς Ἀνδρὸς ἀνδρὸς ἐὰν παραβῇ ἡ γυνὴ αὐτοῦ καὶ παρίδῃ αὐτὸν ὑπεριδοῦσα,

Lóquere ad fílios Israel, et dices ad eos: Vir, cuius uxor erráverit, maritúmque contémnens

דבר אל־בני ישׂראל ואמרת אליהם אישׁ אישׁ כי־תשׂטה אשׁתו ומעלה בו מעל

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man ’s wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him,

וְשָׁכַ֨ב אִ֣ישׁ אֹתָהּ֮ שִׁכְבַת־זֶרַע֒ וְנֶעְלַם֙ מֵעֵינֵ֣י אִישָׁ֔הּ וְנִסְתְּרָ֖ה וְהִ֣יא נִטְמָ֑אָה וְעֵד֙ אֵ֣ין בָּ֔הּ וְהִ֖וא לֹ֥א נִתְפָּֽשָׂה׃
13
καὶ κοιμηθῇ τις μετ᾽ αὐτῆς κοίτην σπέρματος, καὶ λάθῃ ἐξ ὀφθαλμῶν τοῦ ἀνδρὸς αὐτῆς καὶ κρύψῃ, αὐτὴ δὲ ᾖ μεμιαμμένη, καὶ μάρτυς μὴ ἦν μετ᾽ αὐτῆς καὶ αὐτὴ μὴ ᾖ συνειλημμένη ·

dormíerit cum áltero viro, et hoc marítus deprehéndere non quíverit, sed latet adultérium, et téstibus árgui non potest, quia non est invénta in stupro:

ושׁכב אישׁ אתה שׁכבת־זרע ונעלם מעיני אישׁה ונסתרה והיא נטמאה ועד אין בה והיא לא נתפשׂה

And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and [there be] no witness against her, neither she be taken [with the manner];

וְעָבַ֨ר עָלָ֧יו רֽוּחַ־קִנְאָ֛ה וְקִנֵּ֥א אֶת אִשְׁתּ֖־וֹ וְהִ֣וא נִטְמָ֑אָה אוֹ־עָבַ֨ר עָלָ֤יו רֽוּחַ־קִנְאָה֙ וְקִנֵּ֣א אֶת אִשְׁתּ֔־וֹ וְהִ֖יא לֹ֥א נִטְמָֽאָה׃
14
καὶ ἐπέλθῃ αὐτῷ πνεῦμα ζηλώσεως καὶ ζηλώσῃ τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ, αὐτὴ δὲ μεμίανται, ἢ ἐπέλθῃ αὐτῷ πνεῦμα ζηλώσεως καὶ ζηλώσῃ τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ, αὐτὴ δὲ μὴ ᾖ μεμιαμμένη ·

si spíritus zelotýpiæ concitáverit virum contra uxórem suam, quæ vel pollúta est, vel falsa suspicióne appétitur,

ועבר עליו רוח־קנאה וקנא את אשׁתו והיא נטמאה או־עבר עליו רוח־קנאה וקנא את אשׁתו והיא לא נטמאה

And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:

וְהֵבִ֨יא הָאִ֣ישׁ אֶת אִשְׁתּ־וֹ֮ אֶל הַ־כֹּהֵן֒ וְהֵבִ֤יא אֶת קָרְבָּנָ־הּ֙ עָלֶ֔יהָ עֲשִׂירִ֥ת הָאֵיפָ֖ה קֶ֣מַח שְׂעֹרִ֑ים לֹֽא־יִצֹ֨ק עָלָ֜יו שֶׁ֗מֶן וְלֹֽא־יִתֵּ֤ן עָלָיו֙ לְבֹנָ֔ה כִּֽי־מִנְחַ֤ת קְנָאֹת֙ ה֔וּא מִנְחַ֥ת זִכָּר֖וֹן מַזְכֶּ֥רֶת עָוֺֽן׃
15
καὶ ἄξει ὁ ἄνθρωπος τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ πρὸς τὸν ἱερέα, καὶ προσοίσει τὸ δῶρον περὶ αὐτῆς, τὸ δέκατον τοῦ οἰφί, ἄλευρον κρίθινον · οὐκ ἐπιχεεῖ ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ ἔλαιον οὐδὲ ἐπιθήσει ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ λίβανον, ἔστιν γὰρ θυσία ζηλοτυπίας, θυσία μνημοσύνου ἀναμιμνήσκουσα ἁμαρτίαν.

addúcet eam ad sacerdótem, et ófferet oblatiónem pro illa, décimam partem sati farínæ hordeáceæ: non fundet super eam óleum, nec impónet thus: quia sacrifícium zelotýpiæ est, et oblátio investígans adultérium.

והביא האישׁ את אשׁתו אל הכהן והביא את קרבנה עליה עשׂירת האיפה קמח שׂערים לא־יצק עליה שׁמן ולא־יתן עליה לבונה כי־מנחת קנאת היא מנחת זכרון מזכרת עון
15
Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth [part] of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it [is] an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.

וְהִקְרִ֥יב אֹתָ֖הּ הַכֹּהֵ֑ן וְהֶֽעֱמִדָ֖הּ לִפְנֵ֥י יְהוָֽה׃

καὶ προσάξει αὐτὴν ὁ ἱερεύς, καὶ στήσει αὐτὴν ἔναντι Κυρίου ·

Offeret ígitur eam sacérdos, et státuet coram Dómino,

והקריב אתה הכהן והעמידה לפני יהוה

And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the LORD:

וְלָקַ֧ח הַכֹּהֵ֛ן מַ֥יִם קְדֹשִׁ֖ים בִּכְלִי־חָ֑רֶשׂ וּמִן הֶֽ־עָפָ֗ר אֲשֶׁ֤ר יִהְיֶה֙ בְּקַרְקַ֣ע הַמִּשְׁכָּ֔ן יִקַּ֥ח הַכֹּהֵ֖ן וְנָתַ֥ן אֶל הַ־מָּֽיִם׃
17
καὶ λήμψεται ὁ ἱερεὺς ὕδωρ καθαρὸν ζῶν ἐν ἀγγίῳ ὀστρακίνῳ, καὶ τῆς γῆς τῆς οὔσης ἐπὶ τοῦ ἐδάφους τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου, καὶ λαβὼν ὁ ἱερεὺς ἐμβαλεῖ εἰς τὸ ὕδωρ ·

assumétque aquam sanctam in vase fíctili, et pauxíllum terræ de paviménto tabernáculi mittet in eam.

ולקח הכהן מים קדישׁים בכלי־חרשׁ ומן העפר אשׁר יהיה בקרקע המשׁכן יקח הכהן ונתן אל המים

And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put [it] into the water:

וְהֶעֱמִ֨יד הַכֹּהֵ֥ן אֶֽת הָ־אִשָּׁה֮ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָה֒ וּפָרַע֙ אֶת־רֹ֣אשׁ הָֽאִשָּׁ֔ה וְנָתַ֣ן עַל כַּפֶּ֗י־הָ אֵ֚ת מִנְחַ֣ת הַזִּכָּר֔וֹן מִנְחַ֥ת קְנָאֹ֖ת הִ֑וא וּבְיַ֤ד הַכֹּהֵן֙ יִהְי֔וּ מֵ֥י הַמָּרִ֖ים הַמְאָֽרֲרִֽים׃
18
καὶ στήσει τὴν γυναῖκα ὁ ἱερεὺς ἔναντι Κυρίου, καὶ ἀποκαλύψει τὴν κεφαλὴν τῆς γυναικός, καὶ δώσει ἐπὶ τὰς χεῖρας αὐτῆς τὴν θυσίαν τοῦ μνημοσύνου, τὴν θυσίαν τῆς ζηλοτυπίας · ἐν δὲ τῇ χειρὶ τοῦ ἱερέως ἔσται τὸ ὕδωρ τοῦ ἐλεγμοῦ τοῦ ἐπικαταρωμένου τούτου.

Cumque stéterit múlier in conspéctu Dómini, discoopériet caput eius, et ponet super manus illíus sacrifícium recordatiónis, et oblatiónem zelotýpiæ: ipse autem tenébit aquas amaríssimas, in quibus cum exsecratióne maledícta congéssit.

והעמיד הכהן את האשׁה לפני יהוה ופרע את־ראשׁ האשׁה ונתן על כפיה את מנחת הזכרון מנחת קנאת היא וביד הכהן יהיו מי המרים המאררים

And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman ’s head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which [is] the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causeth the curse:

וְהִשְׁבִּ֨יעַ אֹתָ֜הּ הַכֹּהֵ֗ן וְאָמַ֤ר אֶל הָֽ־אִשָּׁה֙ אִם־לֹ֨א שָׁכַ֥ב אִישׁ֙ אֹתָ֔ךְ וְאִם־לֹ֥א שָׂטִ֛ית טֻמְאָ֖ה תַּ֣חַת אִישֵׁ֑ךְ הִנָּקִ֕י מִמֵּ֛י הַמָּרִ֥ים הַֽמְאָרֲרִ֖ים הָאֵֽלֶּה׃

καὶ ὁρκιεῖ αὐτὴν ὁ ἱερεὺς καὶ ἐρεῖ τῇ γυναικί Εἰ μὴ κεκοίμηταί τις μετὰ σοῦ, εἰ μὴ παραβέβηκας μιανθῆναι ὑπὸ τὸν ἄνδρα τὸν σεαυτῆς, ἀθῴα ἴσθι ἀπὸ τοῦ ὕδατος τοῦ ἐλεγμοῦ τοῦ ἐπικαταρωμένου τούτου.

Adiurabítque eam, et dicet: Si non dormívit vir aliénus tecum, et si non pollúta es desérto maríti thoro, non te nocébunt aquæ istæ amaríssimæ, in quas maledícta congéssi.

והשׁביע אתה הכהן ואמר אל האשׁה אם־לא שׁכב אישׁ אתיך ואם־לא שׂטית טמאה תחת אישׁיך הנקי ממי המרים המאררים האלה

And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone aside to uncleanness [with another] instead of thy husband, be thou free from this bitter water that causeth the curse:

וְאַ֗תְּ כִּ֥י שָׂטִ֛ית תַּ֥חַת אִישֵׁ֖ךְ וְכִ֣י נִטְמֵ֑את וַיִּתֵּ֨ן אִ֥ישׁ בָּךְ֙ אֶת שְׁכָבְתּ֔־וֹ מִֽבַּלְעֲדֵ֖י אִישֵֽׁךְ׃

εἰ δὲ σὺ παραβέβηκας ὕπανδρος οὖσα ἢ μεμίανσαι, καὶ ἔδωκέν τις τὴν κοίτην αὐτοῦ ἐν σοὶ πλὴν τοῦ ἀνδρός σου ·

Sin autem declinásti a viro tuo, atque pollúta es, et concubuísti cum áltero viro:

ואת כי שׂטית תחת אישׁיך וכי נטמאת ויתן אישׁ ביך את שׁכבתו מבלעדי אישׁיך

But if thou hast gone aside [to another] instead of thy husband, and if thou be defiled, and some man have lain with thee beside thine husband:

וְהִשְׁבִּ֨יעַ הַכֹּהֵ֥ן אֶֽת הָֽ־אִשָּׁה֮ בִּשְׁבֻעַ֣ת הָאָלָה֒ וְאָמַ֤ר הַכֹּהֵן֙ לָֽאִשָּׁ֔ה יִתֵּ֨ן יְהוָ֥ה אוֹתָ֛ךְ לְאָלָ֥ה וְלִשְׁבֻעָ֖ה בְּת֣וֹךְ עַמֵּ֑ךְ בְּתֵ֨ת יְהוָ֤ה אֶת יְרֵכֵ־ךְ֙ נֹפֶ֔לֶת וְאֶת בִּטְנֵ֖־ךְ צָבָֽה׃

καὶ ὁρκιεῖ ὁ ἱερεὺς τὴν γυναῖκα ἐν τοῖς λόγοις τῆς ἀρᾶς ταύτης, καὶ ἐρεῖ ὁ ἱερεὺς τῇ γυναικί Δῴη Κύριός σε ἐν ἀρᾷ καὶ ἐνόρκιον ἐν μέσῳ τοῦ λαοῦ σου, ἐν τῷ δοῦναι Κύριον τὸν μηρόν σου διαπεπτωκότα καὶ τὴν κοιλίαν σου πεπρησμένην ·

Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when the LORD doth make thy thigh to rot, and thy belly to swell;

וּ֠בָאוּ הַמַּ֨יִם הַמְאָרְרִ֤ים הָאֵ֨לֶּה֙ בְּֽמֵעַ֔יִךְ לַצְבּ֥וֹת בֶּ֖טֶן וְלַנְפִּ֣ל יָרֵ֑ךְ וְאָמְרָ֥ה הָאִשָּׁ֖ה אָמֵ֥ן ׀ אָמֵֽן׃

καὶ εἰσελεύσεται τὸ ὕδωρ τὸ ἐπικαταρώμενον τοῦτο εἰς τὴν κοιλίαν σου, πρῆσαι γαστέρα καὶ διαπεσεῖν μηρόν σου. καὶ ἐρεῖ ἡ γυνή Γένοιτο, γένοιτο.

Ingrediántur aquæ maledíctæ in ventrem tuum, et útero tumescénte putréscat femur. Et respondébit múlier, Amen, amen.

ובאו המים המאררים האלה במעיך לצבת בטן ולנפל ירך ואמרה האשׁה אמן אמן

And this water that causeth the curse shall go into thy bowels, to make [thy] belly to swell, and [thy] thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.

וְ֠כָתַב אֶת הָ־אָלֹ֥ת הָאֵ֛לֶּה הַכֹּהֵ֖ן בַּסֵּ֑פֶר וּמָחָ֖ה אֶל־מֵ֥י הַמָּרִֽים׃

καὶ γράψει ὁ ἱερεὺς τὰς ἀρὰς ταύτας εἰς βιβλίον, καὶ ἐξαλείψει εἰς τὸ ὕδωρ τοῦ ἐλεγμοῦ τοῦ ἐπικαταρωμένου ·

Scribétque sacérdos in libéllo ista maledícta, et delébit ea aquis amaríssimis, in quas maledícta congéssit,

וכתב את האלות האלה הכהן בספר ומחה אל־מי המרים

And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot [them] out with the bitter water:

וְהִשְׁקָה֙ אֶת הָ֣־אִשָּׁ֔ה אֶת־מֵ֥י הַמָּרִ֖ים הַמְאָֽרֲרִ֑ים וּבָ֥אוּ בָ֛הּ הַמַּ֥יִם הַֽמְאָרֲרִ֖ים לְמָרִֽים׃

καὶ ποτιεῖ τὴν γυναῖκα τὸ ὕδωρ τοῦ ἐλεγμοῦ τοῦ ἐπικαταρωμένου, καὶ εἰσελεύσεται εἰς αὐτὴν τὸ ὕδωρ τὸ ἐπικαταρώμενον τοῦ ἐλεγμοῦ.

et dabit ei bíbere. Quas cum exháuserit,

והשׁקה את האשׁה את־מי המרים המאררים ובאו בה המים המאררים למרים

And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causeth the curse: and the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, [and become] bitter.

וְלָקַ֤ח הַכֹּהֵן֙ מִיַּ֣ד הָֽאִשָּׁ֔ה אֵ֖ת מִנְחַ֣ת הַקְּנָאֹ֑ת וְהֵנִ֤יף אֶת הַ־מִּנְחָה֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה וְהִקְרִ֥יב אֹתָ֖הּ אֶל הַ־מִּזְבֵּֽחַ׃

καὶ λήμψεται ὁ ἱερεὺς ἐκ χειρὸς τῆς γυναικὸς τὴν θυσίαν τῆς ζηλοτυπίας, καὶ ἐπιθήσει τὴν θυσίαν ἔναντι Κυρίου καὶ προσοίσει αὐτὴν πρὸς τὸ θυσιαστήριον ·

tollet sacérdos de manu eius sacrifícium zelotýpiæ, et elevábit illud coram Dómino, imponétque illud super altáre: ita dumtáxat ut prius,

ולקח הכהן מיד האשׁה את מנחת הקנאת והניף את המנחה לפני יהוה והקריב אתה אל המזבח

Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman ’s hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the altar:

וְקָמַ֨ץ הַכֹּהֵ֤ן מִן הַ־מִּנְחָה֙ אֶת אַזְכָּ֣רָתָ֔־הּ וְהִקְטִ֖יר הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חָה וְאַחַ֛ר יַשְׁקֶ֥ה אֶת הָ־אִשָּׁ֖ה אֶת הַ־מָּֽיִם׃

καὶ δράξεται ὁ ἱερεὺς ἀπὸ τῆς θυσίας τὸ μνημόσυνον αὐτῆς καὶ ἀνοίσει αὐτὸ ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον, καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα ποτιεῖ τὴν γυναῖκα τὸ ὕδωρ.

והרים הכהן מן המנחה את אזכרתה והקטיר המזבחה ואחר ישׁקה את האשׁה את המים

And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, [even] the memorial thereof, and burn [it] upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.

וְהִשְׁקָ֣הּ אֶת הַ־מַּ֗יִם וְהָיְתָ֣ה אִֽם־נִטְמְאָה֮ וַתִּמְעֹ֣ל מַ֣עַל בְּאִישָׁהּ֒ וּבָ֨אוּ בָ֜הּ הַמַּ֤יִם הַמְאָֽרֲרִים֙ לְמָרִ֔ים וְצָבְתָ֣ה בִטְנָ֔הּ וְנָפְלָ֖ה יְרֵכָ֑הּ וְהָיְתָ֧ה הָאִשָּׁ֛ה לְאָלָ֖ה בְּקֶ֥רֶב עַמָּֽהּ׃

καὶ ἔσται ἐὰν ᾖ μεμιαμμένη καὶ λήθῃ λάθῃ τὸν ἄνδρα αὐτῆς, καὶ εἰσελεύσεται εἰς αὐτὴν τὸ ὕδωρ τοῦ ἐλεγμοῦ τὸ ἐπικαταρώμενον, καὶ πρησθήσεται τὴν κοιλίαν, καὶ διαπεσεῖται ὁ μηρὸς αὐτῆς, καὶ ἔσται ἡ γυνὴ εἰς ἀρὰν τῷ λαῷ αὐτῆς ·

Quas cum bíberit, si pollúta est, et contémpto viro adultérii rea, pertransíbunt eam aquæ maledictiónis, et infláto ventre, computréscet femur: erítque múlier in maledictiónem, et in exémplum omni pópulo.

והשׁקה את המים והיה אם־נטמאה ותמעל מעל באישׁה ובאו בה המים המאררים למרים וצבתה בטנה ונפלה ירכה והיתה האשׁה לאלה בקרב עמה

And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, [that], if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, [and become] bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.

וְאִם־לֹ֤א נִטְמְאָה֙ הָֽאִשָּׁ֔ה וּטְהֹרָ֖ה הִ֑וא וְנִקְּתָ֖ה וְנִזְרְעָ֥ה זָֽרַע׃

ἐὰν δὲ μὴ μιανθῇ ἡ γυνὴ καὶ καθαρὰ ᾖ, καὶ ἀθῴα ἔσται καὶ ἐκσπερματιεῖ σπέρμα.

Quod si pollúta non fúerit, erit innóxia, et fáciet líberos.

ואם־לא נטמאה האשׁה וטהרה היא ונקתה ונזרעה זרע

And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.

זֹ֥את תּוֹרַ֖ת הַקְּנָאֹ֑ת אֲשֶׁ֨ר תִּשְׂטֶ֥ה אִשָּׁ֛ה תַּ֥חַת אִישָׁ֖הּ וְנִטְמָֽאָה׃

Οὗτος ὁ νόμος τῆς ζηλοτυπίας, ᾧ ἐὰν παραβῇ ἡ γυνὴ ὕπανδρος οὖσα καὶ μιανθῇ,

Ista est lex zelotýpiæ. Si declináverit múlier a viro suo, et si pollúta fúerit,

זאת תורת הקנאת אשׁר תשׂטה אשׁה תחת אישׁה ונטמאה

This [is] the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth aside [to another] instead of her husband, and is defiled;

א֣וֹ אִ֗ישׁ אֲשֶׁ֨ר תַּעֲבֹ֥ר עָלָ֛יו ר֥וּחַ קִנְאָ֖ה וְקִנֵּ֣א אֶת אִשְׁתּ֑־וֹ וְהֶעֱמִ֤יד אֶת הָֽ־אִשָּׁה֙ לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה וְעָ֤שָׂה לָהּ֙ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן אֵ֥ת כָּל הַ־תּוֹרָ֖ה הַזֹּֽאת׃

ἢ ἄνθρωπος ᾧ ἐὰν ἐπέλθῃ ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν πνεῦμα ζηλώσεως καὶ ζηλώσῃ τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ · καὶ στήσει τὴν γυναῖκα αὐτοῦ ἔναντι Κυρίου, καὶ ποιήσει αὐτῇ ὁ ἱερεὺς πάντα τὸν νόμον τοῦτον ·

maritúsque zelotýpiæ spíritu concitátus addúxerit eam in conspéctu Dómini, et fécerit ei sacérdos iuxta ómnia quæ scripta sunt:

או אישׁ אשׁר תעבר עליו רוח קנאה וקנא את אשׁתו והעמיד את האשׁה לפני יהוה ועשׂה לה הכהן את כל התורה הזאת

Or when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law.

וְנִקָּ֥ה הָאִ֖ישׁ מֵעָוֺ֑ן וְהָאִשָּׁ֣ה הַהִ֔וא תִּשָּׂ֖א אֶת עֲוֺנָֽ־הּ׃ פ

καὶ ἀθῷος ἔσται ὁ ἄνθρωπος ἀπὸ ἁμαρτίας, καὶ ἡ γυνὴ ἐκείνη λήμψεται τὴν ἁμαρτίαν αὐτῆς.

marítus absque culpa erit, et illa recípiet iniquitátem suam.

ונקה האישׁ מעון והאשׁה ההיא תשׂא את עונה

Then shall the man be guiltless from iniquity, and this woman shall bear her iniquity.
