וַיְדַבֵּ֥ר יְהוָ֖ה אֶל־מֹשֶׁ֥ה לֵּאמֹֽר׃

Καὶ ἐλάλησεν Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων

Locutúsque est Dóminus ad Móysen, dicens:

וידבר יהוה אל־משׁה לאמר

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

דַּבֵּר֙ אֶֽל־אַהֲרֹ֔ן וְאָמַרְתָּ֖ אֵלָ֑יו בְּהַעֲלֹֽתְךָ֙ אֶת הַ־נֵּרֹ֔ת אֶל־מוּל֙ פְּנֵ֣י הַמְּנוֹרָ֔ה יָאִ֖ירוּ שִׁבְעַ֥ת הַנֵּרֽוֹת׃

Λάλησον τῷ Ἀαρὼν καὶ ἐρεῖς πρὸς αὐτόν Ὅταν ἐπιτιθῇς τοὺς λύχνους, ἐκ μέρους κατὰ πρόσωπον τῆς λυχνίας φωτιοῦσιν οἱ ἑπτὰ λύχνοι.

Lóquere Aaron, et dices ad eum: Cum posúeris septem lucérnas, candelábrum in austráli parte erigátur. Hoc ígitur prǽcipe ut lucérnæ contra bóream e regióne respíciant ad mensam panum propositiónis, contra eam partem, quam candelábrum réspicit, lucére debébunt.

דבר אל־אהרן ואמרת אליו בהעלותך את הנרות אל־מול פני המנורה יאירו שׁבעת הנרות

Speak unto Aaron, and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick.

וַיַּ֤עַשׂ כֵּן֙ אַהֲרֹ֔ן אֶל־מוּל֙ פְּנֵ֣י הַמְּנוֹרָ֔ה הֶעֱלָ֖ה נֵרֹתֶ֑יהָ כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֛ר צִוָּ֥ה יְהוָ֖ה אֶת־מֹשֶֽׁה׃

καὶ ἐποίησεν οὕτως Ἀαρών · ἐκ τοῦ ἑνὸς μέρους κατὰ πρόσωπον τῆς λυχνίας ἐξῆψεν τοὺς λύχνους αὐτῆς.

Fecítque Aaron, et impósuit lucérnas super candelábrum, ut præcéperat Dóminus Móysi.

ויעשׂ כן אהרן אל־מול פני המנורה העלה נרתיה כאשׁר צוה יהוה את־משׁה
3
And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof over against the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses.

וְזֶ֨ה מַעֲשֵׂ֤ה הַמְּנֹרָה֙ מִקְשָׁ֣ה זָהָ֔ב עַד יְרֵכָ֥־הּ עַד פִּרְחָ֖־הּ מִקְשָׁ֣ה הִ֑וא כַּמַּרְאֶ֗ה אֲשֶׁ֨ר הֶרְאָ֤ה יְהוָה֙ אֶת־מֹשֶׁ֔ה כֵּ֥ן עָשָׂ֖ה אֶת הַ־מְּנֹרָֽה׃ פ

καὶ αὕτη ἡ κατασκευὴ τῆς λυχνίας · στερεὰ χρυσῆ, ὁ καυλὸς αὐτῆς καὶ τὰ κρίνα αὐτῆς, στερεὰ ὅλη · κατὰ τὸ εἶδος ὃ ἔδειξεν Κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ, οὕτως ἐποίησεν τὴν λυχνίαν.

Hæc autem erat factúra candelábri, ex auro dúctili, tam médius stipes, quam cuncta quæ ex utróque calamórum látere nascebántur: iuxta exémplum quod osténdit Dóminus Móysi, ita operátus est candelábrum.

וזה מעשׂה המנורה מקשׁה זהב עד ירכיה ועד פרחיה מקשׁה היא כמראה אשׁר הראה יהוה את־משׁה כן עשׂה את המנורה
4
And this work of the candlestick [was of] beaten gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, [was] beaten work: according unto the pattern which the LORD had shewed Moses, so he made the candlestick.

Καὶ ἐλάλησεν Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων

קַ֚ח אֶת הַ־לְוִיִּ֔ם מִתּ֖וֹךְ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְטִהַרְתָּ֖ אֹתָֽם׃

Λάβε τοὺς Λευείτας ἐκ μέσου υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ καὶ ἀφαγνιεῖς αὐτούς.

Tolle Levítas de médio filiórum Israel, et purificábis eos

קח את הלוים מתוך בני ישׂראל וטהרת אתם

Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.

וְכֹֽה־תַעֲשֶׂ֤ה לָהֶם֙ לְטַֽהֲרָ֔ם הַזֵּ֥ה עֲלֵיהֶ֖ם מֵ֣י חַטָּ֑את וְהֶעֱבִ֤ירוּ תַ֨עַר֙ עַל־כָּל בְּשָׂרָ֔־ם וְכִבְּס֥וּ בִגְדֵיהֶ֖ם וְהִטֶּהָֽרוּ׃
7
καὶ οὕτως ποιήσεις αὐτοῖς τὸν ἁγνισμὸν αὐτῶν · περιρανεῖς αὐτοὺς ὕδωρ ἁγνισμοῦ, καὶ ἐπελεύσεται ξυρὸν ἐπὶ πᾶν τὸ σῶμα αὐτῶν, καὶ πλυνοῦσιν τὰ ἱμάτια αὐτῶν, καὶ καθαροὶ ἔσονται.

iuxta hunc ritum: Aspergántur aqua lustratiónis, et radant omnes pilos carnis suæ. Cumque láverint vestiménta sua, et mundáti fúerint,

וכה־תעשׂה להם לטהרם הזי עליהם מי חטאת והעבירו תער על־כל בשׂרם וכבסו בגדיהם והטהרו
7
And thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon them, and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and [so] make themselves clean.

לטהר׳ם הזה עלי׳הם מי חטאת ו?ה##[עבירו תער על־כל בשר׳ם וכבסו בגדי׳הם והטהרו ׃

וְלָֽקְחוּ֙ פַּ֣ר בֶּן־בָּקָ֔ר וּמִנְחָת֔וֹ סֹ֖לֶת בְּלוּלָ֣ה בַשָּׁ֑מֶן וּפַר־שֵׁנִ֥י בֶן־בָּקָ֖ר תִּקַּ֥ח לְחַטָּֽאת׃

καὶ λήμψονται μόσχον ἕνα ἐκ βοῶν καὶ τούτου θυσίαν σεμιδάλεως ἀναπεποιημένην ἐν ἐλαίῳ, καὶ μόσχον ἐνιαύσιον ἐκ βοῶν λήμψῃ περὶ ἁμαρτίας.

tollent bovem de arméntis, et libaméntum eius símilam óleo conspérsam: bovem autem álterum de arménto tu accípies pro peccáto:

ולקחו פר בן־בקר ומנחתו סלת בלולה בשׁמן ופר־שׁני בן־בקר תקח לחטאת
8
Then let them take a young bullock with his meat offering, [even] fine flour mingled with oil, and another young bullock shalt thou take for a sin offering.

καὶ προσάξεις τοὺς Λευείτας ἔναντι τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου, καὶ συνάξεις πᾶσαν συναγωγὴν υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ ·

et applicábis Levítas coram tabernáculo fœ́deris, convocáta omni multitúdine filiórum Israel.

והקרבת את הלוים לפני אהל מועד והקהלת את־כל־עדת בני ישׂראל

And thou shalt bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together:

And thou shalt bring the Levites before the LORD: and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites:

καὶ ἀφοριεῖ Ἀαρὼν τοὺς Λευείτας ἀπόδομα ἔναντι Κυρίου παρὰ τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ, καὶ ἔσονται ὣστε ἐργάζεσθαι τὰ ἔργα Κυρίου.

Et ófferet Aaron Levítas, munus in conspéctu Dómini a fíliis Israel, ut sérviant in ministério eius.

והניף אהרן את הלוים תנופה לפני יהוה מאת בני ישׂראל והיו לעבד את־עבדת יהוה
11
And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD [for] an offering of the children of Israel, that they may execute the service of the LORD.

οἱ δὲ Λευεῖται ἐπιθήσουσιν τὰς χεῖρας ἐπὶ τὰς κεφαλὰς τῶν μόσχων, καὶ ποιήσει τὸν ἕνα περὶ ἁμαρτίας καὶ τὸν ἕνα εἰς ὁλοκαύτωμα Κυρίῳ, ἐξιλάσασθαι περὶ αὐτῶν.

Levítæ quoque ponent manus suas super cápita boum, e quibus unum fácies pro peccáto, et álterum in holocáustum Dómini, ut deprecéris pro eis.

והלוים יסמכו את ידיהם על ראשׁ הפרים ועשׂה את האחד חטאת ואת האחד עלה ליהוה לכפר על הלוים
12
And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and thou shalt offer the one [for] a sin offering, and the other [for] a burnt offering, unto the LORD, to make an atonement for the Levites.

והעמדת את הלוים לפני אהרן ולפני בניו והנפת אתם תנופה ליהוה

And thou shalt set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them [for] an offering unto the LORD.

καὶ διαστελεῖς τοὺς Λευείτας ἐκ μέσου υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ, καὶ ἔσονται ἐμοί.

Thus shalt thou separate the Levites from among the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be mine.

וְאַֽחֲרֵי־כֵן֙ יָבֹ֣אוּ הַלְוִיִּ֔ם לַעֲבֹ֖ד אֶת־אֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֑ד וְטִֽהַרְתָּ֣ אֹתָ֔ם וְהֵנַפְתָּ֥ אֹתָ֖ם תְּנוּפָֽה׃
15
καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα εἰσελεύσονται οἱ Λευεῖται ἐργάζεσθαι τὰ ἔργα τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου, καὶ καθαριεῖς αὐτούς, καὶ ἀποδώσεις αὐτοὺς ἔναντι Κυρίου.

Et póstea ingrediéntur tabernáculum fœ́deris, ut sérviant mihi. Sicque purificábis et consecrábis eos in oblatiónem Dómini: quóniam dono donáti sunt mihi a fíliis Israel.

ואחרי־כן יבאו הלוים לעבד את עבדת אהל מועד וטהרת אתם והנפת אתם תנופה
15
And after that shall the Levites go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt cleanse them, and offer them [for] an offering.

כִּי֩ נְתֻנִ֨ים נְתֻנִ֥ים הֵ֨מָּה֙ לִ֔י מִתּ֖וֹךְ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל תַּחַת֩ פִּטְרַ֨ת כָּל־רֶ֜חֶם בְּכ֥וֹר כֹּל֙ מִבְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל לָקַ֥חְתִּי אֹתָ֖ם לִֽי׃

ὅτι ἀπόδομα ἀποδεδομένοι οὗτοί μοί εἰσιν ἐκ μέσου υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ · ἀντὶ τῶν διανοιγόντων πᾶσαν μήτραν πρωτοτόκων πάντων τῶν ἐκ τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραὴλ εἴληφα αὐτοὺς ἐμοί.

Pro primogénitis quæ apériunt omnem vulvam in Israel, accépi eos.

כי נתנים נתנים הם לי מתוך בני ישׂראל תחת כל בכור פטר רחם בבני ישׂראל לקחתי אתם לי
16
For they [are] wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, [even instead of] the firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me.

כִּ֣י לִ֤י כָל־בְּכוֹר֙ בִּבְנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל בָּאָדָ֖ם וּבַבְּהֵמָ֑ה בְּי֗וֹם הַכֹּתִ֤י כָל־בְּכוֹר֙ בְּאֶ֣רֶץ מִצְרַ֔יִם הִקְדַּ֥שְׁתִּי אֹתָ֖ם לִֽי׃
17
ὅτι ἐμοὶ πᾶν πρωτότοκον ἐν υἱοῖς Ἰσραήλ ἀπὸ ἀνθρώπων ἕως κτήνους · ᾗ ἡμέρᾳ ἐπάταξα πᾶν πρωτότοκον ἐν γῇ Αἰγύπτῳ ἡγίασα αὐτοὺς ἐμοί.

Mea sunt enim ómnia primogénita filiórum Israel, tam ex homínibus quam ex iuméntis. Ex die quo percússi omne primogénitum in terra Ægýpti, sanctificávi eos mihi:

כי לי כל־בכור בבני ישׂראל באדם ובבהמה ביום הכיתי כל־בכור בארץ מצרים הקדשׁתי אתם לי
17
For all the firstborn of the children of Israel [are] mine, [both] man and beast: on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.

וָאֶקַּח֙ אֶת הַ־לְוִיִּ֔ם תַּ֥חַת כָּל־בְּכ֖וֹר בִּבְנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃

καὶ ἔλαβον τοὺς Λευείτας ἀντὶ παντὸς πρωτοτόκου ἐν υἱοῖς Ἰσραήλ.

et tuli Levítas pro cunctis primogénitis filiórum Israel:

ואקח את הלוים תחת כל־בכור בבני ישׂראל

And I have taken the Levites for all the firstborn of the children of Israel.

וָאֶתְּנָ֨ה אֶת הַ־לְוִיִּ֜ם נְתֻנִ֣ים ׀ לְאַהֲרֹ֣ן וּלְבָנָ֗יו מִתּוֹךְ֮ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ לַעֲבֹ֞ד אֶת־עֲבֹדַ֤ת בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד וּלְכַפֵּ֖ר עַל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְלֹ֨א יִהְיֶ֜ה בִּבְנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ נֶ֔גֶף בְּגֶ֥שֶׁת בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל אֶל הַ־קֹּֽדֶשׁ׃

καὶ ἀπέδωκα τοὺς Λευείτας ἀπόδομα δεδομένους Ἀαρὼν καὶ τοῖς υἱοῖς αὐτοῦ ἐκ μέσου υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ, ἐργάζεσθαι τὰ ἔργα τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἐξιλάσκεσθαι περὶ τῶν υἱῶν Ἰσραήλ · καὶ οὐκ ἔσται τοῖς υἱοῖς Ἰσραήλ προσεγγίζων πρὸς τὰ ἅγια.

tradidíque eos dono Aaron et fíliis eius de médio pópuli, ut sérviant mihi pro Israel in tabernáculo fœ́deris, et orent pro eis ne sit in pópulo plaga, si ausi fúerint accédere ad sanctuárium.

ואתנה את הלוים נתנים לאהרן ולבניו מתוך בני־ישׂראל לעבד את־עבדת בני־ישׂראל באהל מועד ולכפר על־בני־ישׂראל ולא יהיה בבני־ישׂראל נגף בגשׁת בני־ישׂראל אל הקדשׁ
19
And I have given the Levites [as] a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary.

וַיַּ֨עַשׂ מֹשֶׁ֧ה וְאַהֲרֹ֛ן וְכָל־עֲדַ֥ת בְּנֵי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לַלְוִיִּ֑ם כְּ֠כֹל אֲשֶׁר־צִוָּ֨ה יְהוָ֤ה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה֙ לַלְוִיִּ֔ם כֵּן־עָשׂ֥וּ לָהֶ֖ם בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃
20
καὶ ἐποίησεν Μωυσῆς καὶ Ἀαρὼν καὶ πᾶσα συναγωγὴ Ἰσραὴλ τοῖς Λευείταις, καθὰ ἐνετείλατο Κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ περὶ τῶν Λευειτῶν · οὕτως ἐποίησαν αὐτοῖς οἱ υἱοὶ Ἰσραὴλ.

Fecerúntque Móyses et Aaron et omnis multitúdo filiórum Israel super Levítis quæ præcéperat Dóminus Móysi:

ויעשׂ משׁה ואהרן וכל־עדת בני־ישׂראל ללוים ככל אשׁר־צוה יהוה את־משׁה ללוים כן־עשׂו להם בני־ישׂראל
20
And Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according unto all that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did the children of Israel unto them.

וַיִּֽתְחַטְּא֣וּ הַלְוִיִּ֗ם וַֽיְכַבְּסוּ֙ בִּגְדֵיהֶ֔ם וַיָּ֨נֶף אַהֲרֹ֥ן אֹתָ֛ם תְּנוּפָ֖ה לִפְנֵ֣י יְהוָ֑ה וַיְכַפֵּ֧ר עֲלֵיהֶ֛ם אַהֲרֹ֖ן לְטַהֲרָֽם׃
21
καὶ ἡγνίσαντο οἱ Λευεῖται καὶ ἐπλύναντο τὰ ἱμάτια · καὶ ἀπέδωκεν αὐτοὺς Ἀαρὼν ἀπόδομα ἔναντι Κυρίου, καὶ ἐξιλάσατο περὶ αὐτῶν Ἀαρὼν ἀφαγνίσασθαι αὐτούς.

purificatíque sunt, et lavérunt vestiménta sua. Elevavítque eos Aaron in conspéctu Dómini, et orávit pro eis,

ויתחטאו הלוים ויכבסו בגדיהם וינף אהרן אתם תנופה לפני יהוה ויכפר עליהם אהרן לטהרם

And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them [as] an offering before the LORD; and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse them.

[ויתחטאו הלוים ויכבסו בגדי׳הם וינף אהרן את׳ם תנופה לפני יהוה ויכפר עלי]׳הם [אהרן לטהר׳ם ׃

וְאַחֲרֵי־כֵ֞ן בָּ֣אוּ הַלְוִיִּ֗ם לַעֲבֹ֤ד אֶת עֲבֹֽדָתָ־ם֙ בְּאֹ֣הֶל מוֹעֵ֔ד לִפְנֵ֥י אַהֲרֹ֖ן וְלִפְנֵ֣י בָנָ֑יו כַּאֲשֶׁר֩ צִוָּ֨ה יְהוָ֤ה אֶת־מֹשֶׁה֙ עַל הַ־לְוִיִּ֔ם כֵּ֖ן עָשׂ֥וּ לָהֶֽם׃ ס

καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα εἰσῆλθον οἱ Λευεῖται λειτουργεῖν τὴν λειτουργίαν αὐτῶν ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου ἔναντι Ἀαρὼν καὶ ἔναντι τῶν υἱῶν αὐτοῦ · καθὼς συνέταξεν Κύριος τῷ Μωυσῇ περὶ τῶν Λευειτῶν, οὕτως ἐποίησαν αὐτοῖς.

ut purificáti ingrederéntur ad offícia sua in tabernáculum fœ́deris coram Aaron et fíliis eius. Sicut præcéperat Dóminus Móysi de Levítis, ita factum est.

ואחרי־כן באו הלוים לעבד את עבדתם באהל מועד לפני אהרן ולפני בניו כאשׁר צוה יהוה את־משׁה על הלוים כן עשׂו להם

And after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron, and before his sons: as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them.

Καὶ ἐλάλησεν Κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν λέγων

Locutúsque est Dóminus ad Móysen, dicens:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

זֹ֖את אֲשֶׁ֣ר לַלְוִיִּ֑ם מִבֶּן֩ חָמֵ֨שׁ וְעֶשְׂרִ֤ים שָׁנָה֙ וָמַ֔עְלָה יָבוֹא֙ לִצְבֹ֣א צָבָ֔א בַּעֲבֹדַ֖ת אֹ֥הֶל מוֹעֵֽד׃

Τοῦτό ἐστιν τὸ περὶ τῶν Λευειτῶν · ἀπὸ πέντε καὶ εἰκοσαετοῦς καὶ ἐπάνω εἰσελεύσονται ἐνεργεῖν ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου ·

Hæc est lex Levitárum: a vigínti quinque annis et supra, ingrediéntur ut minístrent in tabernáculo fœ́deris.

זאת אשׁר ללוים מבן חמשׁ ועשׂרים שׁנה ומעלה יבוא לצבא צבא בעבדת אהל מועד

This [is it] that [belongeth] unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation:

וּמִבֶּן֙ חֲמִשִּׁ֣ים שָׁנָ֔ה יָשׁ֖וּב מִצְּבָ֣א הָעֲבֹדָ֑ה וְלֹ֥א יַעֲבֹ֖ד עֽוֹד׃

καὶ ἀπὸ πεντηκονταετοῦς ἀποστήσεται τῆς λειτουργίας καὶ οὐκ ἐργάζεται ἔτι,

Cumque quinquagésimum annum ætátis impléverint, servíre cessábunt:

ומבן חמשׁים שׁנה ישׁוב מצבא העבדה ולא יעבד עוד
25
And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service [thereof], and shall serve no more:

וְשֵׁרֵ֨ת אֶת אֶחָ֜י־ו בְּאֹ֤הֶל מוֹעֵד֙ לִשְׁמֹ֣ר מִשְׁמֶ֔רֶת וַעֲבֹדָ֖ה לֹ֣א יַעֲבֹ֑ד כָּ֛כָה תַּעֲשֶׂ֥ה לַלְוִיִּ֖ם בְּמִשְׁמְרֹתָֽם׃ פ

καὶ λειτουργήσει ὁ ἀδελφὸς αὐτοῦ ἐν τῇ σκηνῇ τοῦ μαρτυρίου φυλάσσειν φυλακάς, ἔργα δὲ οὐκ ἐργάζεται. οὕτως ποιήσεις τοῖς Λευείταις ἐν ταῖς φυλακαῖς αὐτῶν.

erúntque minístri fratrum suórum in tabernáculo fœ́deris, ut custódiant quæ sibi fúerint commendáta: ópera autem ipsa non fáciant. Sic dispónes Levítis in custódiis suis.

ושׁרת את אחיו באהל מועד לשׁמר משׁמרת ועבדה לא יעבד ככה תעשׂו ללוים במשׁמרתם

But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their charge.
