וַיָּ֕שָׁב הַמַּלְאָ֖ךְ הַדֹּבֵ֣ר בִּ֑י וַיְעִירֵ֕נִי כְּאִ֖ישׁ אֲשֶׁר־יֵע֥וֹר מִשְּׁנָתֽוֹ׃

Καὶ ἐπέστρεψεν ὁ ἄγγελος ὁ λαλῶν ἐν ἐμοί, καὶ ἐξῆρέν με ὃν τρόπον ὅταν ἐξεγερθῇ ἄνθρωπος ἐξ ὕπνου αὐτοῦ ·

Et revérsus est ángelus, qui loquebátur in me, et suscitávit me quasi virum, qui suscitátur de somno suo.

καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς μέ Τί σὺ βλέπεις? καὶ εἶπα Ἑόρακα, καὶ ἰδοὺ λυχνία χρυσῆ ὅλη, καὶ τὸ λαμπάδιον ἐπάνω αὐτῆς, καὶ ἑπτὰ λύχνοι ἐπάνω αὐτῆς, καὶ ἑπτὰ ἐπαρυστρίδες τοῖς λύχνοις τοῖς ἐπάνω αὐτῆς,

Et dixit ad me: Quid tu vides? Et dixi: Vidi, et ecce candelábrum áureum totum, et lampas eius super caput ipsíus, et septem lucérnæ eius super illud: et septem infusória lucérnis, quæ erant super caput eius.

And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all [of] gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which [are] upon the top thereof:

וַיַּ֜עַן וַיֹּ֤אמֶר אֵלַי֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר זֶ֚ה דְּבַר־יְהוָ֔ה אֶל־זְרֻבָּבֶ֖ל לֵאמֹ֑ר לֹ֤א בְחַ֨יִל֙ וְלֹ֣א בְכֹ֔חַ כִּ֣י אִם בְּרוּחִ֔־י אָמַ֖ר יְהוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת׃

καὶ ἀπεκρίθη καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς μὲ λέγων Οὗτος ὁ λόγος Κυρίου πρὸς Ζοροβαβὲλ λέγων Οὐκ ἐν δυνάμει μεγάλῃ οὐδὲ ἐν ἰσχύι ἀλλ᾽ ἢ ἐν πνεύματί μου, λέγει Κύριος Παντοκράτωρ.

Et respóndit, et ait ad me, dicens: Hoc est verbum Dómini ad Zoróbabel, dicens: Non in exércitu, nec in róbore, sed in spíritu meo, dicit Dóminus exercítuum.

מִֽי־אַתָּ֧ה הַֽר הַ־גָּד֛וֹל לִפְנֵ֥י זְרֻבָּבֶ֖ל לְמִישֹׁ֑ר וְהוֹצִיא֙ אֶת הָ־אֶ֣בֶן הָרֹאשָׁ֔ה תְּשֻׁא֕וֹת חֵ֥ן חֵ֖ן לָֽהּ׃ פ

τίς εἶ σύ, τὸ ὄρος τὸ μέγα τὸ πρὸ προσώπου Ζοροβαβέλ, τοῦ κατορθῶσαι? καὶ ἐξοίσω τὸν λίθον τῆς κληρονομίας ἰσότητα χάριτος χάριτα αὐτῆς.

Quis tu mons magne coram Zoróbabel? in planum: et edúcet lápidem primárium, et exæquábit grátiam grátiæ eius.

יְדֵ֣י זְרֻבָּבֶ֗ל יִסְּד֛וּ הַבַּ֥יִת הַזֶּ֖ה וְיָדָ֣יו תְּבַצַּ֑עְנָה וְיָ֣דַעְתָּ֔ כִּֽי־יְהוָ֥ה צְבָא֖וֹת שְׁלָחַ֥נִי אֲלֵיכֶֽם׃

Αἱ χεῖρες Ζοροβαβέλ, ἐθεμελίωσεν τὸν οἶκον τοῦτον, καὶ αἱ χεῖρες αὐτοῦ ἐπιτελέσουσιν αὐτόν, καὶ ἐπιγνώσῃ διότι Κύριος Παντοκράτωρ ἐξαπέσταλκέν με πρὸς σέ.

Manus Zoróbabel fundavérunt domum istam, et manus eius perfícient eam: et sciétis quia Dóminus exercítuum misit me ad vos.

The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.

כִּ֣י מִ֣י בַז֮ לְי֣וֹם קְטַנּוֹת֒ וְשָׂמְח֗וּ וְרָא֞וּ אֶת הָ־אֶ֧בֶן הַבְּדִ֛יל בְּיַ֥ד זְרֻבָּבֶ֖ל שִׁבְעָה־אֵ֑לֶּה עֵינֵ֣י יְהוָ֔ה הֵ֥מָּה מְשׁוֹטְטִ֖ים בְּכָל הָ־אָֽרֶץ׃

διότι τίς ἐξουδένωσεν εἰς ἡμέρας μικράς? καὶ χαροῦνται καὶ ὄψονται τὸν λίθον τὸν κασσιτέρινον ἐν χειρὶ Ζοροβαβέλ · ἑπτὰ οὗτοι ὀφθαλμοί εἰσιν οἱ ἐπιβλέποντες ἐπὶ πᾶσαν τὴν γῆν.

Quis enim despéxit dies parvos? et lætabúntur, et vidébunt lápidem stánneum in manu Zoróbabel. Septem isti óculi sunt Dómini, qui discúrrunt in univérsam terram.

For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel [with] those seven; they [are] the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

וָאַ֖עַן וָאֹמַ֣ר אֵלָ֑יו מַה־שְּׁנֵ֤י הַזֵּיתִים֙ הָאֵ֔לֶה עַל־יְמִ֥ין הַמְּנוֹרָ֖ה וְעַל שְׂמֹאולָֽ־הּ׃

καὶ ἀπεκρίθην καὶ εἶπα πρὸς αὐτόν Τί αἱ δύο ἐλαῖαι αὗται αἱ ἐκ δεξιῶν τῆς λυχνίας καὶ ἐξ εὐωνύμων?

Et respóndi, et dixi ad eum: Quid sunt duæ olívæ istæ, ad déxteram candelábri, et ad sinístram eius?

וָאַ֣עַן שֵׁנִ֔ית וָאֹמַ֖ר אֵלָ֑יו מַה־שְׁתֵּ֞י שִׁבֲּלֵ֣י הַזֵּיתִ֗ים אֲשֶׁר֙ בְּיַ֗ד שְׁנֵי֙ צַנְתְּר֣וֹת הַזָּהָ֔ב הַֽמְרִיקִ֥ים מֵעֲלֵיהֶ֖ם הַזָּהָֽב׃

καὶ ἐπηρώτησα ἐκ δευτέρου καὶ εἶπα πρὸς αὐτόν Τί οἱ δύο κλάδοι τῶν ἐλαιῶν οἱ ἐν ταῖς χερσὶν τῶν δύο μυξωτήρων τῶν χρυσῶν τῶν ἐπιχεόντων καὶ ἐπαναγόντων τὰς ἐπαρυστρίδας τὰς χρυσᾶς?

Et respóndi secúndo, et dixi ad eum: Quid sunt duæ spicæ olivárum, quæ sunt iuxta duo rostra áurea, in quibus sunt suffusória ex auro?
